If u could give 0 I would. DONT COME HERE! They charged me £182 for 2 steaks and 2 drinks. They added extras on top, I asked for one of the cheesecakes, they brought me out a simple cheesecake and said they don’t have the others in stock. I said I don’t want a cheesecake and they said sorry we took this out of the packaging and you have to pay. £15 for a tiny slice???? The waiters didn’t know any of the things on the menu. I tapped my card at the end on the card machine and they had a different value on there saying £182 and now they don’t want to give some of my money back. The steak was rare not medium. No salt pepper. It’s tiny. Go elsewhere, please don’t waste your money here. They didn’t give me a receipt, in the end had to call my bank to get it refunded. The place is empty! Better off going to a proper place with a better menu and cheaper.

Ping is a fun bar / restaurant in a good location. Food is reasonably priced but the bar is let down by the price of drinks which are on the expensive side even for the area e.g. £9 a pint. In saying that though, I have been a few times and each time has been fun.

Went to Ping for a friends birthday, first off we had to pay a minimum of £20 per head for a table which isn't hard as the cocktails alone are £12-14. I had one cocktail and shared a pizza with my friend which was margherita and not nice at all. Moving on to ping pong, if there's a big group of you it's impossible to all stand round the table as its so packed. I think I would go back but maybe on a Thursday night rather than Saturday because it was just too busy.

We went to Ping on a Saturday night with two couples and booked a dinner table with the allocated 30min ping pong time. At some point after dinner the waitress came to tell us we would have our slot at the ping pong table next to us in 5min which was at the time occupied by another group. The same group was still happily playing 20min later with no staff member in sight to claim the table for us, when our waitress suddenly reappeared to tell us we had only 10 more minutes of our allocated ping pong time left We protested to her that no one had called us to the table or cleared it for us, which she said she would look into. We started playing. 10min later another waiter arrived to tell us to leave the ping pong table for another group and called the manager when we objected. He arrived and after some explanation from our side told us that now our waitress and an unnamed other colleague claimed they had told us 3 times (!) to start our ping pong time. When we protested and told him the full story his only comment was we should not get aggressive and that he had no choice but to believe his staff, but that we were happy to come back another night as there were no more slots on any of the ping pong tables for the rest of the night. To top it off when we went back to out seats the coat of one of the ladies was missing and could not be found again by the generally unhelpful staff. In summary a very bad experience and sad to see people trying to capatilise on the success of similar bars in London without even trying to get some of the very basics of customer service right.

I went here on the weekend with a group of friends and had a great evening. Service was really good at the start of the night, but towards the end took far too long to get a drink. Downer was that you needed to spend over £10 to pay with card, so you were roped into buying 2 drinks at a time which was a little bit of a bother and made you spend probably more than you usually would. Cocktails were priced between £9 - £12 and not very good portion sizes. All cocktails were served in a small martini glass. We ordered a pizza to keep our appetite at bay which was surprisingly really really nice and came out quickly after ordering. We were in a group of 8 people and after a few hours we saw a booth come free so we asked the hostess if we could sit there, he said we could if we spent £120. I found this ridiculous!! As we had easily spent well over that amount in the last few hours we were at the bar. The atmosphere was great and the crowd was a good mix of people, 21 and over mostly. The music was amazing!! So many good songs from the old favourites to the recent top 30. I must say though, for a bar where you want to sit and chat with friends the music was far too loud. Would reccomend to people with a group of friends. Didnt get a chance to play ping pong as all booked the entire night, oh well. Wasnt too fussed anyway.

However when we got there we couldn't play ping pong as you had to book and every time we sat down we were told to move by unfriendly staff telling us the table was reserved. I also got given the wrong drink at the bar and when asked to have it changed the bar staff member was very grumpy and treated me as though I was trying to blag a drink. Very disappointing visit.

I go to Ping on a fairly regular basis but after another great experience on a Saturday evening I want to give a review. An open and friendly welcome by the girl on the door is a nice change from the coldness you recieve when entering other south-west London bars/clubs. I have never had any trouble with front of house even when arriving around 11.30pm but if you want to eat its advisable to book a table in advance. Ping offer a great deal of a pizza and any two cocktails for £20 to get your night started before the party gets into full swing around 10.00-10.30pm. Great music all night (at just the right volume) , multiple bar areas and of course their ping pong tables make this an excellent spot for either a few drinks before moving on or staying until late. Cant advise checking it out enough!

Went with a group of colleagues on a Thursday for a dinner. Was a last minute booking and they were able to accept us which shows flexibility but also that it was quite empty. The ping pong tables were busy but we anyway didn't have much interest in them.Ordering was a bit complicated as the waitress didn't really understand everyone very well and we had to repeat the order couple times (language barrier or loud music??).It took quite a while before our 9 beers came which shouldn’t take long if it’s not too busy and they are bottled beers. The waitress forgot 2 out of nine beers and got one wrong, they offer two brands of beer! The food, we all had pizza and took only 3 different varieties, came in 3 steps with around 5 minutes difference which I would expect that they can time that a bit better. They also got one order wrong and tried to get my colleague to take it anyway, the waitress tried it and then the manger (or head waiter) tried it again - bit odd.The pizzas had a good size and the toppings were of a good quality, overall good.We wanted in-between more beers which was a big problem coz the waitress only asked on one end of the table and before we could shout that we want more she was gone.Overall I would say the pizza is decent and the place has some vibe to it but as the ping pong tables seem constantly busy it is a bit of a odd place where the fusion between the food and ping pong is not really working well.Would I come back? For a drink and Ping Pong yes but for food NO.

If you say yes to the following questions, then I would recommend going to Ping. Do you like booking a table for 10 and being given a table for 4? Do you like being promised a table tennis table and having that revoked 5 minutes later? Would you like to wait 4 hours after your booking to play table tennis? Do you like prebooking for no reason? Do you like hearing the only deal is 6 pints for £50? If you said yes to the above, then PING is the place for you. I had organised a 10 person booking with ping for my birthday night out. When we got there we were given a table of 4 which they called a "base" table as we weren't having food. Maybe this would be a good idea if we were able to move around and play table tennis, but on our arrival at 9.30pm we were told our space would be at 1.00am, after being promised a complementary 30 minute session WITH our booking, not 3 and a half hours later. One of the waitresses came over and offered us an earlier table tennis slot due to a cancellation, then five minutes before we were due to go on she came over and said we didn't have it anymore. To summarise, on my birthday night out, my friends and I didn't play table tennis, we didn't sit down and we paid extortionate drink prices. I have never felt compelled to write a review before or make a complaint, but this club was genuinely the worst bar I have ever been to.

I guess dependent on what you want from a night out this venue could truly be "hit or miss" (I'm sorry!). We had a dining table reserved for a party of eight and needless to say the venue was very compact. Service was just barely present and I found myself sobering up between drinks. Speaking of drinks; they only have a couple of ciders and a plethora of cocktails, and there is definitely a "frat party" atmosphere. As part of the booking we also had 30 minutes to play on the 4 congested ping pong tables. To be honest it's a great way to break the ice and mingle and the crowd seemed very pleasant. The food left much to be desired. The menu has very little on it, save a few pizzas and dare I add salad. The pizzas themselves were not appetizing at all. Food and drinks were generally overpriced for what it is.The DJ actually catered to the largely 30-something demographic very well with its mix of '90's to 00's tunes. All in all, if you you're looking to just have fun (and have already had a meal) this place is great for networking, having a laugh and corporate ice breaking. The aura of American, undergraduate frat-house debauchery is present, but if you're expecting good food and value for your money there are definitely better places to go.

We had sharing breads to start which were tasty, then a course of salads which were only ok but then the pizza came out and it was delicious. The menu is very basic, simply serving pizza's and a few salads. The pizza's are filling and delicious however I would not come for the food alone. The main attraction of the bar is the combination of the food available, the fancy cocktails (which are very expensive) and the ping pong tables available for games. This makes it easier to socialize for those not drinking and for those who wish to meet new people. The cocktails are delicious however I would order wisely, both the Disco Ball (a huge disco ball filled with a raspberry flavoured cocktail) is 55 pounds, the same price as a 3 litres beer tower (which is not that impressive). If there are more than 5 of you, I would recommend ordering the large disco ball as there is a large amount in the ball itself and is equivalent to ordering 5 single cocktails each. Plus the disco ball looks great and is beautifully decorated. The pizza's are freshly made, warm and filling- a perfect edition to the drinks. The dessert menu is quite limited with only a nutella pizza. Would recommend for a night out, particularly with people you are just getting to know as the unique scene creates a lovely conversation starter and guarantees a good time. lThe restaurant does close quite early on a weeknight though and they won't hesitate to kick you out.

I went here on a Friday night. It was pretty busy, the tables are very close to the ping pong playing so expect to get hit by ping pong balls while you eat. The atmosphere was a bit stag-do-ish. The girl staff 'referees' walk around in tiny hotpants, the ping pong players were mostly rowdy middle aged men. Food was ok, we had a sicilian pizza which had huge chunks of mushroom, and my friend had a caesar salad (which looked surprisingly better than the pizza). Had the house wine, quite nice, a 'good time' cocktail - also would recommend. The table service was very attentive and cheerful and staff seem to be enjoying their jobs. The schedule you in for half hour of ping pong if you have a table - it was fun, especially after the cocktails! Overall, the experience was ok. The food, service and drinks were nice but the atmosphere was a little lacking.

PING isn't the best food you'll ever eat, but sure is a fun place to go for drinks and ping pong and get a feed in too.The staff were warm, friendly, and keen. It was busy, but not packed to the point where you'd never stand a chance of getting a drink. The other customers were friendly too, and there was a really nice vibe in the venue, which is essential when the ping bong balls inevitably fly across the room. I have been to bounce too, and found the atmosphere here much warmer, and the venue itself much more interesting. You can book for a group of four too, whereas you need a minimum group size of six at bounce. We had a timing issue with our ping pong table and didn't get on it early enough. This was a real disappointment. Anywhere else our concerns would probably have been met with a shrug. Not here! Full credit to the Staff and the manager, who took our concerns seriously and remedied the situation, and we ended up havering a FANTASTIC time.

I say that having been to Ping twice and Bounce once.During our first visit to Ping we were put on the waiting list for a ping pong table where we would have a one hour slot for 12 people (too little time too many people anyway). We were warned there would be a 3 hour wait for a table but as it was a friday night we felt we couldn't complain too much about that so proceeded to buy some (expensive) drinks at the bar for the next 3 hours. When it came to our time slot we approached the lady who had put us on the waiting list only to be told that our table had been given away (?!!!) to others as she thought we had left despite the fact we told her were we were seated and were clearly visible. After kicking up a huge fuss they bought out a miniature ping pong table (about 1/3rd size of a normal one) and opened it up right next to the bar where she said we could play instead.... the bar was busy and you couldn't have played a proper game on it even if it hadn't been. What a disappointing night on top of the fact we had each shelled out over £100 on drinks whilst waiting for our table. Despite our bad first experience we returned to Ping last weekend. Again the service was poor and slow and the barman unhelpful about splitting the bills. We visited on a thursday night and the whole venue was overcrowded and you could tell others were as frustrated as we were with the management of the table allocation. In between these two visits to Ping I also went to Bounce in Holburn (as a bit of a ping pong fanatic!) I have to say the service there was excellent and very friendly. The drinks cost about the same as Ping but the venue is at least 4x the size of ping with many more tables and a lot more space in between the tables so you can actually move! We were allocated two tables for two hours for a group of 15 of us.... a much better more reasonable time period and number of tables for the size of the group! All in all if you want to go to a ping pong bar skip ping which is simply a terrible version of Bounce.

I organised a gathering of ten friends for my girlfriend's birthday. I booked a table a few weeks in advance for such a large group, and had to hold £15 a head (minimum spend per person) on my credit card for the table. Everything ran pretty smoothly. We had a long thin table by the entrance, which was a bit tight and by the bar's main thoroughfare. Some of the tables further in would have been nicer, but it wasn't that bad. We had a very attentive waitress, who made sure that we had the drinks flowing. The pizzas and focaccias were pretty tasty, and quite inexpensive at £8 and £9, respectively. The waitress booked us on to a ping pong table for half an hour after we had finished our food. It was great fun, ping pong balls flying everywhere and people diving across the room. One or two times I saw the collision of an overzealous player and innocent bystander! This is obviously not for proper table tennis players, just a bit of fun in a bar. And fun it was - just a shame we only had 30 mins for so many people. There was a huge booking board for the four available tables, running from 6pm to 3am. Needless to say all the tables were spoken for very quickly. If you want to get on a ping pong table, make sure sort it our early. All in all a fun evening.

Having pre-booked we went as a group of five gents to play ping pong early on a Saturday evening. We were met at the door by two strikingly pretty girls in black quasi-pornographic dresses. Through elaborate ear-piece mechanisms they were instructed to withhold us in a waiting pen (while I'm supposing they swept our bodies for firearms or traces of radiation using concealed lobby scanners), then told to usher us down to the underground bar. We were shown to a table and ordered a round of beers. There were four or five punters in the whole establishment and yet a teeming furore of staff workers buzzing around the place as though we were on the film set of a spoof Bond film and about to go for that all important final explosion climax scene without which those films would never end. There were only four ping pong tables in the room. You could count them on one hand. And they were pushed together, some might say jammed together, as though we were on a Russian sub and the Japanese depth charges had just shaken everything in a disarray to the center of the room. The owners had applied bright white 'PING' stickers to the upper side - the playing surface - of each of the Ping Pong Tables. This brash bit of advertising rendered it almost impossible to see the ball as it flew from end to end. Being of a certain thickness, the stickers also rendered the surface near unplayable, as the ball skitter off the edge of the stickers at unpredictable angles. Once you add these playing impediments to the continuous buffeting from behind by waiters and ushers and bouncers and busboys and managers and clipboard wielding schutzstaffel, it was near impossible to play a point. Let alone a game. (We ended up resorting to a revised scoring system to fit the venue - first to 3 points wins.By seven o'clock we were told we had to vacate the table as the supermodel porno-girls on the door had promised it to newer, smarter arrivals. To amuse ourselves we drank overpriced beers and gave names to the various people working there. We counted 22 in all. From KeyLime Pie through Clipboard Nazi to Gay Dave and Sergei Mafiosi. In short. Not a place to go if you want to play table tennis. However, if the purpose of your life is to imagine you're some kinda jerk-off extra in a straight-to-video Steven Segal movie. Don't hesitate to visit.

Even though there was over 20 of us we were only allowed an hour on a table...(even with a minimum spend of £1000) and obviously not all of us had a go. I do think it's very unfair, as they should prioritise people who have made bookings rather than people who 'walk in'. Whats the point in booking and spending a load of money on food & drinks if you dont even get to play!??I even tried booking again for my sisters birthday as she wanted to try it out, but again we were only allowed 30 mins....30MINS!? I mean for people who havent played before theres just no point. Unless they change this rule I honestly won't be going back. BOUNCE in holborn is ALOT better!

One of the things that I will always remember about a bar that I go to, no matter the occasion, is the service I receive. I went to Ping, for a quiet-ish drink, on a Thursday evening with a group of mates. There was eight of us, and we were a mixed bunch - two Scots, two Welsh, two Irish (including myself) and two English guys. Having worked the door on a number of clubs before, I know that you never really want to see a large group of guys entering, because there's always the potential for unrest. Especially if the guys are tourists or not especially local. The staff at Ping, from the guys and lady on the door, to the cloakroom staff, and in particular the bar staff, were outstanding from start to finish. What started as a quiet drink and a chat turned into an absolutely magnificent night, all down to the service we received. The price of drinks wasn't bad, and when they started throwing in a free shot every round then that helped too. It's the small things like that that make an impact on a guy like me, and even though, as I said, a large group of guys who've been knocking back liquor all night may cause some concern, we were still treated fantastically. Great night all round. Thanks to Fabio, Andrea and Andreas (behind the bars, if memory serves) and the rest of the staff

Pizza is decent, but rude sevice. Placed my order on the website and went to collect, they claimed website is down, and would be a further 20 mins. No apology, nothing. So I left and won't be back..

Really one of the best pizza I have ever eaten in London. The staff was amazing and I loved the "affettato misto" Very recommended!
