The Bunch Of Grapes, Knightsbridge in Kensington and Chelsea

We really liked the look of this pub whilst in Knightsbridge so decided to go in and have a drink. We didn’t order food as we had already eaten, but the fish and chips did look nice. We were only in there briefly and in that time experienced appalling service by the man and women serving behind the bar. Both were rude and unwelcoming. The way to that passed us a few times was however, very friendly. Be careful when ordering spirits. If you don’t specify which brand you want they will automatically give you the most expensive . This will also be served around the corner of the bar so you can’t see what you’re actually being served . Disappointing visit to what we thought was going to be a great pub.

El mejor pescado con patatas fritas, Steak ale pie y queso mac becon jamás visto en el Londres , cerca de Harrods y V & E museos. Estamos aquí por la noche para la cena. El personal es muy amable. El ambiente es bueno con buena música. Realmente queríamos este tipo de lugar para una cena tan hermosa. Gracias al equipo del racimo de uvas.

Deliciosa salchicha y puré en los especiales. Personal amable. Siempre me encanta venir cuando en la zona. Cerca de la estación del sur de Kensington y los museos y Harrods!

Es una pena, este pub solía ser decente. No estoy seguro si han cambiado de dueño, pero el personal ahora es horrible. Todos ellos.

¡El personal es grosero! Nuestra experiencia fue un desastre de principio a fin. Al llegar, el personal apenas nos reconoció, y a lo largo de la noche, su indiferencia se hizo más evidente. Después de pedir y pagar nuestra comida en el bar esperamos lo que se sentía como para siempre, solo para descubrir que nadie había hecho nuestro pedido. Cuando preguntamos sobre el retraso, el camarero se estrelló contra nosotros y otro personal preguntó si habíamos ordenado hacer toda la experiencia increíblemente incómodo. Para empeorar las cosas, al final de la noche, el mismo camarero se acercó y preguntó sarcásticamente: “¿Estás bien?”, burlándose claramente de nosotros. No te dejes atraer por el encanto y la historia de este pub inglés. La comida está "bien" y el personal no sabe el significado del servicio al cliente.

I had the best fish and chips I've ever eaten in London at The Bunch of Grapes! The fish was perfectly crispy, and the chips were golden and delicious. Great value for money, especially considering the portion size and quality. It’s a casual, laid-back place where you find your own seat and place your order at the bar. Highly recommended if you're looking for a classic British meal in a cozy pub setting.

Classic British pub with lovely atmosphere, dining room upstairs, and beautiful bar downstairs. The food was amazing, so there were drinks, service was fast and efficient, and I'll happily return back. Recommending.

I booked this pub because it was near the victoria and Albert museum a few days ago. I walked in, ordered drinks and had a few jokes with the bar staff. If I can laugh with the staff, that is a place I am immediately comfortable with. I ordered a few Guinness's and pie with chips which was nice. If you're in the South Kensington area and you want to kick back and relax, then come to the bunch of grapes.

Wollten einmal etwas sitzen, etwas trinken und kleine Snacks von der Bar haben. Dies schien dem Personal nicht zu gefallen, wir wurden an einen Tisch gesetzt, ab, da kümmerte sich keiner mehr um uns, wir wurden geflissentlich übersehen, sind gegangen. Oder wir haben die Systematik der Kneipe nicht begriffen.

A wonderful roast and pie although the roast was a little cold for our taste, this could be because there were so many people in the dining room downstairs. nice beers, helpful waiters. a great place to go for a meal. ✌🏻❤️

Passed by by chance and located 5 minutes from the apartment we decided to have dinner there. Fish and chips for everyone! A very nice piece of fish, hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Huge fries, peas that we weren't expecting but which were very good. With tartar sauce and mayo for the fries. A pint of beer to wash it down. In short, a very good dinner in a typical setting, surrounded only by "locals", a lovely English evening for us! Don't hesitate to open the door of this beautiful pub - very beautiful decor!

Part of the Green King franchise but not the prices. Food wasn't too good. They didn't have basic things so the menu was limited.

Popped in for just a drink but saw the food that was coming out of the kitchen and I knew I had to try as it looked great. The looks didn’t disappoint, easily one of the best chicken burgers I’ve ever had from all my travels not just in London.

It's a shame because the place is nice, the food is good and of good quality but the places are measured in cleanliness and if the floors are dirtier than a warehouse in the industrial area and the bathrooms are filthy at 6.30pm/7pm when the evening is about to begin , it means that these people are not very clean. Sin. The front air conditioner blasts out air conditioning ready to make you sick. A tip for the chef: Mussel Mussels souté is good but if you cook the Mussels until they are dry you will ruin it. The mussels should be cooked for 1 minute over a high heat and then removed, they should be half raw (no problem knowing that they are fresh and good!!!)

Peccato perché il locale è bello, il cibo è buono e di qualità ma i locali si misurano in pulizia e se i pavimenti sono più sporchi di un capannone della zona industriale e i bagni sono luridi alla 18:30/19 quando sta per iniziare la serata, vuol dire che queste persone non sono molto pulite. Peccato. Il climatizzatore fronte cassa spara aria condizionata pronta per farti ammalare. Un consiglio per il cuoco: il souté di Cozze Mussels è buono ma se cuocete le Mussels fino a farle secche lo rovinate. Le cozze vanno cotte per 1’ a fuoco forte e poi tolte , devono essere mezze crude ( nessun problema se sapere che sono fresche e buone!!! )

We dropped in at prime rush hour and were lucky enough to grab the last table - sign of a good pub! It is in a great location being on route to Knightsbridge underground and allowed for escape from the heat on one of the hottest days of the year. We are a family of 4 with two young children; 3 and 6 and felt very welcome. For the kids there was a limited menu nuggets or fishfingers therefore opted for Mac n cheese from the main menu and split between them - they loved it. I had the cheese and bacon burger and my wife had the Korean burger both 👌. This food, two cordial drinks for the kids, a pint of coke and a neck oil (very refreshing in the heat!) £56… seems reasonable given harrods is just a stone throw away. Staff made an effort to speak to our children and also adjusted the window blind to make it more comfortable 👍👍👍

Ordered a steak sandwich and they brought me an overcooked steak instead. I asked for a cider which I saw a couple other people have… they looked stupefied…. A gentleman behind me in queue pointed to the draft version, which promptly exploded booze all over me and the barkeep. If you’re looking for a pub, there are 2 others within a couple blocks that didn’t mess up the easy stuff.

Impeccable service even at a busy time. Delicious food with plenty of variety. Salt and pepper squid was the perfect starter with the burgers being top notch. Lovely atmosphere for family and friends.

Nice qwerky little pub, value for money food...quick to arrive after ordering too...the Mac & cheese with added bacon bits/garlic bread was just what I needed after walking around Knightsbridge....my friend had the Korean chicken burger, which he thought was delicious. 😁

Visiting here from Florida. Have been to a few restaurants and this restaurant by far, has the best fish and chips. Crispy batter and a flavorful cod. The chips were proper too, not too salty and had a crunch to them. Recommend to anyone wanting to try fish and chips.
