First time visiting last night and Wow. Food was delicious. Staff exceptional even though they were so busy. Friendly, attentive and even though we didn't notice there was a slight wait on the food, they brought complimentary nachos while we waited. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend 👌

The food was excellent, cocktails excellent and good value, service great and so was the venue. We were sat on the large table, sharing it with another separate group - through possibly no fault of his own, one member of the group was rambling very loudly throughout which travelled across the table and made our conversations difficult, the group also had multiple soiled napkins piled on table which I had to try hard not to look at to put me off my food. Groups are entitled to act and behave how they want but the sharing of the table made the sound travel and the dirty napkins encroach on us. I feel really bad leaving this review as we booked a table quite late and were so happy to have been allocated a table. Maybe a more substantial barrier would be good for when the large table is shared between different groups?

Food was incredible. Cocktails were superb. Staff were dead sound. Service was excellent while remaining relaxed. Really good value. Great decor. Chilled playlist. 5 stars all round I think.

The perfect place to celebrate with the whole family….and the dog 🐶👌🏼 all the staff are wonderful and could not do enough for us - thank you especially to Eddie & Abby, and the food was beautiful, cooked to perfection. We had the large sharing platters and some extras - the cauli wings are still my absolute favourite. The burritos were packed full of flavour and what we couldn’t manage, we took home 😍 the cocktails were 🔥 10/10 Babbel, your restaurant is very special. Thank you.

Had a great time celebrating a family birthday. Food was very nice. We pre-ordered as a large group so maybe next time would like to look at menu properly. We sat upstairs so away from rest of the diners but place looked busy. Cocktails were fire! Service was impeccable 👌.

Because of my love for Mexican food I’d been looking forward to visiting since it opened, I don’t know why it took me so long ! The restaurant is small but not overcrowded and well decorated. The staff are lovely and helpful and I couldn’t fault the service. The menu was mouthwatering and corona on draught (which is a plus 👌) Starters were perfect Mains were great too but my bowl didn’t contain a great deal of chicken but was really tasty and I did leave full.(mainly because the starter was substantial. ) My husband’s burrito was packed out with fries so he was a little disappointed as he’d never had fries in a burrito before. (This may have been mentioned In the menu and if he’d read this he may have made another decision.) On the whole we had a lovely eve here and would definitely return in the future. Food was beautifully presented and tasty. This restaurant is a little gem and a welcome plus to the area.

First time I’ve been & I was very impressed. The food was delicious. Took advantage of the lunch time deals and they were excellent value. The staff were lovely, attentive without being in our faces. Will definitely go again.

The best restaurant in this part of the Wirral, by far. The food is delicious with beautiful flavours and quite obviously quality ingredients. The cocktails are very good and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is vey tasteful with a really nice vibe about it. There is also an upstairs space which I believe you can hire for small parties.

Best service anywhere we’ve been locally - really warm and friendly to us and our toddler, very knowledgeable about the menu/ingredients and all the little things like staff smiling when you walk past them that just make you feel really welcome. Food was great, my fave was the butternut squash tostada - really pretty as well as delicious. Great range of soft drinks as well as the cocktails. Catered well to a milk allergy and lots of variety on the menu. We went for an early lunch so it was quieter than usual but it’s such a cosy place it didn’t affect the atmosphere. Can’t wait to try the take away now!

By FAR one of the best restaurants on the Wirral. I honestly cannot fault it. Amazing staff, amazing food and drinks. The tacos are absolutely to die for. Staff can’t do enough to help you and the service is just spot on. I’m so glad the business is doing well. Keep smashing it👏

What a lovely little gem, great selection of food catering for all dietary needs and so so tasty with very generous portions. So that along with lovely friendly staff and great atmosphere makes this somewhere you should definitely check out.

Went here this evening after having a bad day, The two waitresses and the Manager could not of been nicer, what a place loved everything about it, just what I needed after a horrible day. Will definitely be back

This was the second time we've been but we didn't recall just how good/ authentic/ layered the flavours were. There was an American Mexican-food lover in our party and they were very happy. The menu was explained with the portion size and we liked that . We went with the luncheon special of three plates (of two tacos each) of fish, pork and chicken. This was enough and (for us) we only needed a light tea that night. The fish tacos were crispy and lightly battered but with a nice amount of Mexican seasoning and the pulled pork was amazing -marinated, seasoned, with Mexican pink pickled onions. Chicken was amazing as well -the favourite of my partner. Will definitely visit again.

Had a last minute meal for 2 on a Saturday- amazing cocktails, really tasty, fresh food and friendly staff. Great local place, will return.

I often say this is the best place to have "happened" to Bromborough, finally bringing delicious food, cold Corona and evening vibes to an otherwise very quiet and socially stagnant village. Come here if you want a variety of tasty foods, a pleasant evening atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Best Mexican on Wirral by far. Love the tacos here, as you'd expect, but absolutely do not sleep on the mango habanero wings. Top stuff.

Amazing food and the best margharitas! The menu is very reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes that you get. Service was top notch, the staff are really friendly and on the ball. Already planning the next trip back to try other dishes!

Staff were great, made us feel very welcome. Nachos to start were delicious. Main meal.pork burrito was very tasty. Not so fussed on the beef soft taco, but it looked good. Lemon beer made a great drink for a hot summer night. We will be back, but I won't be having the beef taco :)

Place is lovely, staff are fantastic, service is brilliant BUT the food could be so much better. Crispy Sticky mango chicken - great portion size and lovely tender chicken but smothered in too much tangy sauce. Not at all crispy. Chips are microwave soft and lukewarm. Corn riblets same flavour as chicken. All in all the same flavours. 😞

Last minute booking based on a few recommendations and didn’t disappoint. Lovely welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Chose the sharing platter which gave a great taster of a few things on the menu…the burrito especially was delicious! Will definitely be back to try the tacos!

Had our works quarterly lunch here today (05/06) staff were lovely and the food was great. Lunch time offers were great and big portions which everyone really enjoyed. Would 100% recommend. Thanks!

Not sure how and why we’ve never been here before?! Popped in for lunch and shared 3 tacos and a burrito between 2, everything was exceptional but we really enjoyed the burrito (we had the beef and instead of rice it had cheesy chips!) lovely little local gem. Will definitely be returning

My partner and I visit Pina Loca every now and then for a local day or night out. The owners and staff always make us feel right at home. The cocktails are INCREDIBLE - best ever. And the food is also fantastic, with a portion size that is great for sharing a few plates between the table. Our favourites include the barbacoa, pollo asada and Baja fish tacos, bufalo cauli wings and mango habenero wings (but everything is good). So great to have such a gem in Bromborough! We'll be back again soon 🧆🌮🌯🍸🍹

Absolutely 10/10 food. Went yesterday for the first time and already can't wait to go again.

Really want to like it in here but it is very average and expensive for what you get. Staff are lovely but service is extremely slow. Had to wait half an hour for first drink to arrive after ordering. Food was slow and ordered another drink when that arrived, we finished our food and still no sign of drinks. The staff fair dos came over and apologised he had forgotten to make them. Food was ok nothing special, had burritos which were a bit basic for the price and quite small. Been here a couple of times now since they opened and always feel a bit underwhelmed especially when there are nicer restaurants like Rokka and The Turkish BBQ nearby. Would come again for drinks as the cocktails are nice but wouldn’t bother again for food sadly. Decor is lovely, staff are friendly, it’s always busy in there and there’s lots of good reviews but it’s just not for us unfortunately.

First and certainly not our last visit to Pina Loca. The food was amazing as were the non alcoholic cocktails service was super friendly and not in your face very chilled atmosphere and good music highly recommend very good value for money.

Friendly staff and tasty food. Portions are tapas in size, so order a number of plates of the dishes you fancy. The Baja fish tacos were my favourite. Well worth a visit. Adrian our server was efficient and friendly. With drinks, food and service charge, the bill for 6 of us came to 151 pounds.

I stumbled across this restaurant whilst visiting Liverpool and I am so glad I did! Lovely little restaurant with an authentic feel and beautiful food that delivers on every level. My friend and I opted for 3 small dishes each and a sharing starter and there was more than enough food. The sharing starter of nachos were amongst the best I've had. The staff were attentive enough but not overbearing. There was a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks with some beautiful looking mocktails. Two drinks, a sharing starter and 6 plates cost approximately £65. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again!

We did a Christmas table centre making night at Pina Loca. What a lovely evening! Really intimate and relaxed and our waitress was so friendly and worked really hard, making sure everyone was happy, chatting, getting drinks and clearing up. The food was tasty and fresh and the cocktail was delicious. Excellent value for money evening and nice to see a local business doing so well. Would highly recommend!

New Mexican restaurant in the middle of Bromborough village. Good menu, plenty of choice but not overdoing it. Food was really quite good. Burrito bowls a favourite. Service really friendly from all involved and seemed genuinely interested in feedback. Prices reasonable. Good drinks menu And cocktails looked fantastic.

It may look like a strange wrap (with peas?) dipped in ink… BUT DONT BE FOOLED. This burrito blew my mind, what you’re looking at is the Friday Burrito - every great part of fish and chips WITH garlic aioli wrapped in a warm and toasted burrito, absolutely gorgeous. Now the ‘ink’ is something different, this is the dip part of the Birria Quesadillas small plate. A ridiculously rich (I was warned!) slow cooked, wonderfully spiced pulled beef, with toasted cheddar encased in a crispy tortilla and a glossy dip to go with it. Based in a cosy, well decorated, Cantina-styled restaurant. Honestly Im lucky I stopped by to try this place out on a whim. I can imagine this place being set up in a quirky city centre going against the big shooters like your chiquitos and las iguanas. Tremendous!

They phoned us back to offer us a table as someone had just cancelled, so glad they did! Food was amazing, in the words of my partner it was like a flavour orgasm in his mouth!!!!!! We are both veggies there were plenty of options. The classic margarita was the nicest I've ever had! Staff were lovely and attentive. We will definately go back

Love this Mexican restaurant ! What a wonderful surprise find. I found it randomly and wow if I’m ever in the area again I will be back. The food, service, atmosphere is all very nice and friendly, reasonable prices too ! It also has a proper Tequila bar with many great choices.

We met friends and enjoyed our first visit to Pina Loca. The service was friendly and professional, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed (interior decor was colourful and added to the Mexican atmosphere). The menu included a nice variety of mexican dishes that were fresh and tasty. We look forward to returning!

Good overall experience but the flavour was not there in my experience....there was no heat, no freshness of salsa. The waiter was lovely and treated us great. Jarritos and margarita were good but yeah, didn't love the food I'm afraid

7th visit, first time the food has disappointed. Menu the same but a few items not as good as normal. Pea tostada full of sliced jalapeños, never been in the dish before, my wife had to pick them all out. Nachos had far fewer than usual compared to amount of toppings and our favorite Baja fish tacos had a lot of shredded salad on that is not normally like that. I am sure we will return just hope it was an off night.

The food here is absolutely gorgeous, and there's lots to choose from. Loads of drinks options too. The service was so friendly and genuine from the staff (our receipt said our server was called Jo, who was very accommodating). Love how the restaurant is decorated, and great music. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Taken here last night by son’s in-laws & couldn’t have chosen a better place. The small plates were varied & delicious with the best patatas bravas I’ve ever had - topped with a fried egg - and delicious enchiladas as extras. The service was spot on. Wish we had a place like this in Leicestershire!

Popped in here for a midweek lunch sometime was nice and quiet. I had a colorafo bowl, and my wife had the pollo. Outstanding meal, very very nice. All I would say is that I would like to see an option to go extra large on the bowls, It was perfect for lunch, but for an evening meal, I'd prefer more. I was gutted when the bowl was finished, I almost ordered another one.

Went to Pina Loca on a whim after seeing pics on Facebook. We only live down the road so rang up and asked if they could fit us in and we would have a pram. No problem. We had cocktails plus a few small plates and a few tacos. We can't rate it highly enough. Food was super speedy and the cocktails were great. Eddie was looking after us and he really knew his stuff. He easily explained the menu amd translated some mexican/Spanish so we knew what we were ordered (mainly certain liquers in the drinks!). Eddie was very polite, attentive and knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. This was our first proper meal out with a 5month old and we splurged, it was great. It doesnt have to be expensive....it was a big treat for us. Everything about it was good. We will be back. Thanks Eddie, from Nikki and Dan

4 of us on a Tuesday night. Quite busy... Which is a good sign and they dealt with it well :) £100 between us including 10% service charge, which is reasonable considering we had 1-2 drinks each.
