The sun was shining the beer flowing what a great place to meet friends and have a drink. Will be going back for sure

German beer, decent food and a great atmosphere all round. You should definitely give this place a visit on gig night!

What a waste of money. Came at 20 past 12. Charged £5....same as normal price. Downstairs shut. Upstairs shut. Just a radio and a bar. Absolutely disgusting to charge people full price for entry to this sithole with no entertainment.

Back again for round 2 with who I thought was Ron, turns out his name is Ruben! His hair is just so long and sexy, can’t seem to keep myself away, food is ok, drinks are alright, I’ll just keep on coming in to see my Jesus!

Great venue only spoiled by toilets, only 1 urinal which isn't enough

Ordered burger with fries, fella came upto me slammed it on the table, big fella with long hair, looks abit like fat Jesus, think his name was Ron, when pouring my drinks he gave me a smile afterwards, seemed very kinky but then I had no money to give a tip, I’ll be in next week to try my luck again

Molly’s chambers has the most retarded and offensive bouncers. I’m disabled and can’t help but shake, they kicked me out for being “drunk” after my third drink a couple of times. When I confronted them about this they had some tale about me punching them in a big fight! That was an utter lie. I hope this place goes under. Please support me and don’t ever come here again

A special place for metal and hard rock fans. Good atmosphere and plenty of space to stay with your own groups.

freezing cold venue, wind blowing right through the place. the staff were disgustingly rude and unwelcoming especially the owner who insulted a member of my grouo down the phone, would not recommend

top notch food music and straight up vibez

Toilets are the most vile I’ve ever come across ( think poo smeared on chip board walls ) and an idiot in a pink polo shirt and a cross body man bag collecting drinks before they’d even been finished with . We were scared to put our glass down . What a baffoon . And a guy on the stage playing music and miming along while facing the dance floor 🤷‍♀️

Went here the other week with friends And went down stairs for the wiff of piss down their was overwhelming didn’t smell good at all ended up going in the garden part as it was bad. I’ve had some great nights at mollys but though it’s gone down hill fast, I also went to the men’s toilets to see big mould parts on each corner which was disgusting to say the least 1⭐️

Awful experience, went there with a few friends, got drinks, sat down and 5 minutes later bouncers asked my mate to change his tee shirt because of tiny logo The North Face. Far from being a scally and they kicked us out based on that. Another place where bored and drugged bouncers looking for trouble. Do yourself a favour and find more friendly place.

Great place to see awesome bands, have a good boogie and feel safe. I often go alone to watch the live bands and I've never had an issue I here. The Sunday roasts are amazing.

Went to watch a tribute band great venue

The no better Sunday Roast, there is no better service, quite simply there's no better late night live music venue! Highly recommend.

Good night overall but I had to manage a couple of big issues: Security Door Supervisor (bouncer) very rudely and unprofessionally had an issue where I was standing....in a bar with no seats left and I was not in anyones way or blocking the bar. He continued to stare at me throughout the night. I felt stereotyped and profiled and uncomfortable. Thought the days of the bully bouncers were over, especially in an age where everyone trains MMA now lol. Bar staff were great, once you engaged wirh them and asked them how their night was going ...other wise, clear look of "I hate my job and don't want to be here" face. I did get a smile or two off them eventually. Outside bar area had no ice and didn't replace the ice for the rest of the night. Not a huge drinks selection outside too....or at least didn't have what I would of liked. I only ordered some fries but fresh and crunchy but did have to wait 10 mins as nothing prepared. I will be returning and would love to change this review to 5 stars next time.

Great band on, lots of staff available to serve and a cracking vibe

Nice place but the scheduled band didn't show up and no one told any us. Waited for 3 hours and out of the blue another band shows up.

Can be a decent place for a night out, and the staff are pleasant. Try and avoid the owner though (think his name's Mick Ward), as he’s got a serious attitude problem and tries to bully customers. Specifically, they hadn't yet started serving food, and had no veggie options anyway, so a member of the bar staff said we could order our own food and eat it on the premises. We did this, and ate it just outside the main entrance. The friendly and professional security staff said they were closing that area, and that we'd need to come inside, but could bring our food with us. We did this, only to be confronted by Mr Ward who said "you can't eat that in here". We explained that we'd cleared it with bar and security staff, but he was having none of it, and said he didn't want to bring the security staff into it as “it would start an argument”, and that a woman (we had no idea who this was) would “take his side”. We didn’t understand what he was referring to, and he seemed to be escalating a tiny issue into something far bigger. The atmosphere became sour, mildly threatening, and we won't be going back there again, or to the Swinging Arm which he also owns.

Food is far too expensive especially given its from frozen. £6.50 for a burger on its own £4.00 for a small basket of chips!

The place is brilliant. The cider was spot on. The Sunday lunch was great loads of veg but just a bit short on beef. But we'll worth it

We love Molly's for their band nights or tribute acts, it's a great rock pub with nice ales a cosy outdoor area and a pool table inside.

Always a great time, drinks can be pricey but the atmosphere is fantastic and the service is great, a night out here is awesome 😎

Have always had a great night when coming to this place, friendly staff and great environment. Obviously need to like a bit of rock music. Had a burger and was very good! Would reccomend!

I read about Molly's Chambers Sunday lunch on the internet a couple of weeks earlier and thought we'd give it a try when a friend came to visit us. The service and the food was incredible, huge portions even on the medium size Sunday Lunch. so much food and cooked to perfection at a really reasonable price. Molly's Chambers is now our new favourite place for a roast dinner and we are even planning on going to one of their music events soon.

The sunday roasts absolutely delicious, but allow 30+ mins once ordered.

My first time in Molly's chambers as a word of mouth introduction I had a three meat roast with all the trimmings had large but would have the standard next time loved the decor and the music all people and taste staff very helpful and friendly staff lovely chill out places

I was there to have some drinks and listen to some music. There was a rock band live and it was really good. Nice atmosphere, good people. I really liked it!

This is a fantastic local venue – For the warmer months (and colder as well) there is an outside bar with a stage for live music with BBQ food (weather dependant) and there is also a downstairs bar area, with places for Bands to play. They also do a Sunday dinner, they always have amazing bands on whether they be local bands, cover bands – We managed to see Indiemand on our last visit and they were brilliant, definitely be coming back and will be looking out for this bands next gig.

Paid £8 to get in at 11pm tonight. They'd obviously let way too many people in because I left half an hour later having been unable to get anywhere close to being served. £8 to stand in a queue for 30 minutes before leaving. Never again. 1 star is one star to many.

We stumbled on this place when visiting the transport museum just across the road. What a great place. There's a good selection of drinks, nice menu, live music and a great atmosphere. We'll be making another visit soon. If I'm being picky then there was a wait on the food but the quality was great.

Great bar, great music and great atmosphere

Heard a lot about this place but never visited before this weekend. Had a great time with friends from work. Very lively bar with great music and a live band (I’m told this happens every weekend). All staff including the doormen were very welcoming and polite. Good selection of drinks and they even had my favourite rum (old j) stocked which is hard to find. Would like to give a special mention to Chris the barman who made sure our glasses were never empty. Cannot wait to visit again and will definitely be a regular after this weekend.

I’ve visited Mollys chamber bar and kitchen on several occasions. The atmosphere is electric! Always a warm welcome from the door staff. Spoilt for choice once inside. Two bars serving top quality German larger. Two bands were playing , one down stairs, then shortly after another great band bang out rock tunes on the big stage out in the back! On a Sunday it’s a more relaxed day time vibe. Honestly the best roast dinner I’ve had by far. For a brilliant night out, get yourself to Mollys

My first visit was 2 weeks ago. I am a harmonica player..It was Jam night. I cant thank everyone I met at Molly's enough for their kindness and enthusiasm to get me up to play .. Beer n service top notch What a fantastic place. See you soon guys .

Great food, music and excellent staff

The management really know how to run a bar/restaurant. The new enhancements indoors in the cellar bar and outside during the warmer months provide for a convivial night of live music covering electronic, rock and funk primarily. I mainly frequent Molly's of an evening but have sampled their excellent daytime food recently and I was impressed by the professionalism of all the staff. It is not easy for any establishment, emerging from Covid, to maintain a quality service for up to 15 hours during the long weekends/special events but Molly's manages to achieve this week in and week out. The interior bar is well designed making the best use of a previous premises and the small stage festival style exterior is a hidden gem attracting the best covers, tribute bands in the region. Not to mention the selection of international beers. If you love your German brews, you'll be well at home here. Having lived here all my life, I get the impression that Birkenhead is reinventing itself with the re-mergence of the Transport Museum opposite and complementary establishments at nearby Price Street, Hamilton Square. The historic buses and trams often park outside adding to the intrigue. The venue is a short walk from the bus and train stations. All in all a smart use of land and a safe place to be yourself whatever you decide to be. Nobody judges. Personal safety is taken very seriously by the regular door staff. Just a great venue and I am not on commission in case your are wondering! Credit where it is due.
