The standard has deteriorated significantly. We ordered 12 items to take away, and all 4 rice dishes were ruined by uncooked rice. We then went there to try again and witnessed the most unprofessional attitude from the ‘manager’ towards some customers. We’ll never go there again. It’s unfortunate to have one less place to book company events. Let us know when you’ve gotten rid of the new ‘manager’ in Bournemouth.

Bournemouth pho hits different. If you’re coming from outside the UK you might want to adjust your expectations. It’s not bad, just different. I had the beef combo pho – it had brisket (which I’ve not had in pho before), meatballs (not the bò viên that I’m used to) and slices of rare beef which was delicious which I dare say as better than other pho I’ve had. Broth was great. The pork spring rolls were awesome Hanoi style with nước chấm. Jasmine tea was delicious. Overall I enjoyed the food, service and vibe and would come back and perhaps try the chicken pho.

The worst Pho I have ever eaten in my life. I guest the chefs deffenly a white folks cooking it, no pho flavor at all. The meats look like cook with crockpot, the broth, so blend no flavors. I did not take any pictures. I am afraid it might haunting me for a long time. Vietnamese Pho is the most commonly soup, the most easy to cook and very healthy food their is. They really FUBAR this so badly.

They serve wine in water glass. And other then that all seems OK.. food is good.

Well first time trying this, didn't have what I wanted, didn't like it, £40 for 2 bowls of rice and 2 drinks , also they put a £5 service charge each person .

Great food and fantastic service. Our server Pierina was lovely. Very knowledgable and made fantastic recommendations. Highly recommend. Can't wait to be back.

The food I had was super full of flavour and tasty. Really clean fresh taste. I had Affogato for dessert which is coffee over ice cream, but it was so tasty. The service was on point. Ivy was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back again soon.

The house pho with beef-My partner is an experienced pho consumer and he says the broth lacked the deepness of flavour that you would have got if it's cooked properly meaning for hours..and also the pieces of beef were too thick and too big. Still good flavours though as he enjoyed it. I've had a chicken salad and it was very fresh, absolutely delicious. For a start we've had chicken wings and they were cooked to perfection. Service-spot on!

What an amazing meal, a healthy and scrumptious bowl of food! Brilliant portions unlike some other restaurants with a wonderful service. Moses especially is great and accommodating, I made a mistake whilst ordering my main and he swapped my meal without asking any questions. That's a very sweet gesture 🙌.Not only that, but the environment is really nice and organised. It was great 😃

Asian food with the only drawback of using porridge and wooden utensils

It’s a 3 star for me and my Vietnamese wife. Having lived in Vietnam for 7 years, sorry to say but this is very much fake Vietnamese food made for the UK masses and very very far away from what you would actually get if you went to Vietnam. Firstly, the service was excellent, very attentive and friendly, well done. We received the food and we were surprised. Wow, this is definitely not Bún Bò Huế! The noodles were phở (flat noodles) not (bún). Flavour tasted 0% like Bún Bò in Vietnam. It tasted fine but I am just a bit confused as to why it would be passed off as Bún Bò, when the noodles are wrong and the flavour is nothing like it really is. Head scratching stuff. The bún thịt nướng is meant to be a balance of sweet (fish sauce and sugar) and sour (pickled veg). This dish was more like someone giving me a tablespoon of salt and asking me to eat it for a tenner as a laugh. Pure salt. I guess it’s perhaps suitable for UK tastes. Finally we ordered the Vietnamese coffee. I love Vietnamese coffee, so I was excited. My god what a sorry state of affairs that was. Watery and tasteless, I was beginning to wonder if they bothered putting any coffee in there. Considering Vietnamese coffee should be blowing my socks off, this was like a fart in the wind. Overall, nothing really to complain about really, as I am biased having lived in Vietnam for so long. The meat portions were generous and my family seemed happy enough. But if you’re looking for authentic food, this ain’t it I’m afraid.

One of the best fried squid I have ever tried in England, tender and not too heavy fried, served with well balanced sauce. For the main I’ve tried Vietnamese soup with beef - big portion, a lot of meat. Awesome!

World class Pho… the best I’ve had since living in Canada 20 odd years ago (and believe you me, I ate a bucket load of Pho out there!) - the Pork Bun is just totally on point and the Spring Rolls are to die for. With wonderful service from Holly and Ivy (!) I was like a kid at Christmas. A hidden gem.

First time eating at Pho.! As a chef myself I often criticise my food when I eat out. To my delight every dish that was recommend to me by my server Ivy was excellent and could not be faulted. I was impressed with Ivy knowledge of the dishes. I hope to come back soon and experience it all again.

Went for my anniversary dinner, had Ivy as our waitress. It was our first time at a Vietnamese restaurant, Ivy was amazing at explaining the menu and listening to us and her recommendation just made our evening. We were very well cared for and the food was amazing too. We even chose to stay another evening just to go back and experience it all again!!! Thank you Ivy.

The food arrived about 2 minutes after my order which is quick even for microwave. Noodles have never seen a wok from the inside, beef was tough and some bits off. Small portion. Extremely disappointed especially for the price. The girls attending were great though friendly and good attitude, they offered to change my plate but I thought if they dare bring this to the table probably hopeless anyway.

Update: sister sent an email to the team who asked for date, time, what was ordered, if we went to the GP etc. a while back and since then has had no response from the team. We won't be visiting again and will not recommend. Would have liked a full refund as we all had food poisoning. ------------------------------------------------- My husband, baby and my two little sisters visited Pho on Saturday 20th. My little sister loved this place and wanted to share her excitement with us. Unfortunately we were all hit with food poisoning. Both my little sisters had to go to the bathroom immediately after we left the restaurant. Luckily we were close by to creams so they were able to go and throw up and poop. This was the only meal we ate so far. My husband and I thought we were lucky but found that we had delayed food poisoning on our return home the next day. Husband has had to take the day off work with no sick pay and we have been bed ridden trying to get better whilst looking after a crazy 8month baby. Husband had a case of a double whammy with diarrhea and vomitting. I've thrown up a total of 6 times. We ordered nojito and 2 coconut pineapple and apple juices. X2 crispy spring rolls (peanut sauce and the cham sauce) Prawn crackers with chilli sauce Baby squid 3 mushroom Vietnamese noodle soup Hot and spicy king prawn Curry noodle soup soya chicken (All of us added the sauces on the table, siracha, chilli oil) Our bill was a total of just over £90. Really disappointed and surprised as the waitress was so attentive to my little sister's nut allergy. I can only assume this was a case of cross contamination. This has really scared me from eating out now. My little sister has emailed the Bournemouth branch and still waiting for a reply from the team. I hope they also leave a review of their experience.

Had an amazing time at pho. The vibe was great, food was delicious, and the service was fantastic, we were served by ivy and Holly they were friendly, attentive and had really food and drink suggestions.

After going out for a meal for my mates birthday this was the perfect match for us, we all throughly enjoyed our meal, the beef brisket was amazing! Highly recommend if you are local. Ivy is an excellent waitress.

Pho is such fun. I've been twice now and served both times by Ivy. Such a warm and lively atmosphere and the food is incredible. I had the Pho House on both visits and certainly hits the spot. Perfect for an easy work lunch or dinner with a friend or partner!

We had a fantastic lunch at Pho Bournemouth yesterday - four of us shared summer rolls, spring rolls, salt chilli squid, chicken salad and seafood rolls, followed by various mains of excellent noodles and curries. Iced coffees for dessert. All delicious and good value. Service was spot on - thanks to Ivy! Thoroughly recommended.

We picked Pho as a change from our usual restaurant choices. I'm coeliac and having recently been gluten by a pizza chain was keen not to have it happen again! This was a meal pre a Simple Minds gig at the Bournemouth International Centre. It was a superb choice. Everyone in there was so friendly and nice and they clearly understood coeliac disease. I had the chicken summer rolls for starter and chicken rice bowl from main. Both were delicious! Hubby said the spring rolls were amazing and really enjoyed his pulled brisket pho (Vietnamese soup). We will definitely be back when we are next in Bournemouth for a gig as the food was delicious and for once I could practically eat everything on the menu which is so refreshing.

I have been twice in last 3 days ( seeing two different friends) Both times food was 5*. First time 5* waitress. Second time Waiter was weird commented on me having a second cocktail and not my friend (she was driving) - 3*)

Ivy was the hostess with the mostest! Food was great and Ivy was super helpful in helping us with our choices and she was a good laugh cracking out the jokes. Cocktails were tasty! Always have good food at Pho and will always come back.

Popped in for lunch on a rainy Saturday. Super friendly staff, especially our waitress Ivy. Best veg spring rolls I've ever had. The Pho house noodle soup was delicious finished with the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk soooo good. Can't wait to come back.

Never eaten at Pho before, the food was lovely and they cater well to vegetarians. Me and my hubby loved the spring rolls. My server holly was very friendly and helpful with telling us about items on the menu (as we were clueless 🙈). Definitely one of our favourites in Bournemouth, will be coming back again.

The Bournemouth Pho is very much like a noisy cafe. The staff are lovely but most of the menu contains msg which if you're intolerant is very limited. I ended up with chicken and rice! Noone in our party enjoyed their meal so we won't be going back.

Super salty, bland food. Really disappointed. The manager ever asked how it was, which I politely said wasn't great. He just said oh sorry and walked off. Overall service was poor too. Slow and hard to get extra drinks, etc. Not great.

The food at Pho is really tasty. They have a few of the herbs on the side, and chilli so that you can have more control over the taste profile of the pho. Loved it and will go back.

Our waitress Ivy was so knowledgeable about every dish and all its ingredients on the menu. I have multiple food allergy’s and she was brilliant. We’ve visited multiple pho chain locations but this is for sure our favourite. The foods amazing and so are the staff. Yum!

My daughter booked a table for mothers day, we ordered starters and mains around 16:30. Starters landed on our table with attitude of the waitress but we didnt get our main, it was 17:30 when we finally called the waitress who was standing by the bar chatting with her colleagues. Turned out that she forgot to put in our main orders. So incompetent, rude and snub. We paid for our Starters and left. They didnt have a decency to appologize or reimburse. I would have understood if they were busy but they weren't busy and other tables got their orders fast. We saw waitresses just standing by the bar and chatting. How could you screw the simple order HOW INCOMPETEND ARE YOU

Ivy was an incredible host, attentive and ensured that we had the most enjoyable evening. When ordering a vegetarian main, she ensured the starter was the vegan option as it contained fish sauce as standard, this was without being prompted. The food was delicious and we all loved our choices.

We loved it so much we came back two nights in a row! The atmosphere is great, the staff are super attentive and for someone like me who is gluten and dairy intolerant (I know, I’m sorry!) this place was an absolute godsend. It’s pretty much all DF and GF bar a couple of things. They even had GF beer and loads of delicious fruit smoothies. But the reason we came back twice was the beef brisket curry which was so rich and delicious. I had a taste of my partner’s on the first night and was like, “we’re going back”. Honestly, I had never been to Pho before and it is so worth it, the lemon and pork starter is also so tasty. A special shout out to our waitress, Ivy, who was super friendly and helpful. Thanks guys, we’ll definitely come back again next time we’re in Bournemouth!

The beef brisket curry pho was insanely good! Perfect fragrant flavour, incredible, succulent, melt-in-the-mouth beef brisket. Generous portion size :D The seafood spring roll starter was delicious. Our waitress Pierina was very friendly and welcoming! We look forward to returning!
