Amazing fresh food and best prawn crackers ever - only £2.50 and I don’t mind paying for them to support this small business that has been so great for years. Home delivery is lightning fast and never disappoints too.

Amazing spot. They have totally refurbished and I am not sure if they changed chefs but the food has also improved. The food tastes fresh and not oily. The new roast duck and crispy pork is on par with some of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to, which has been a lot. Really good authentic food with great flavours (I’m Chinese so I know it’s authentic!) great dishes that you would usually only find in China town. The bubble tea is also great! Can not recommend this place enough!

I have used this place for years, but it is going down hill . Today, I went in store to make an order. I paid cash. When I got home, I discovered part of my order was missing. A £5.30 dish. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I telephoned the takeaway, the staff checked, then apologised while someone else talked to them in the background. He apologised and said we could walk back and collect them- I live a 20 minute walk away, they closed in 10 minutes. He then offered that it would be put on account. This happened before. I paid in cash - how is this going to be applied? “We will know” I asked them to deliver, they said no- they have no drivers. Good has gone downhill- service is absolutely below acceptable. After years, I will not go here again. Oh, and to boot, my partner found some metal in his food.

Been using philac for a few years now but recently they seem to be going down hill . We placed an order over the phone , after being asked to wait while the lady finished another order but I could hear her tell 3 other people how much their orders were and answering another call and asking them to wait , out order was finally taken . Our order came to just under £38 , the delivery driver arrived on time and we gave him £40 so he got a small tip , unfortunately we did not recieve 1 part of our order and it was for my vegetarian sister who does not eat meat . I called the restaurant straight away and the lady informed me the driver was on his way back and she would send him straight back to us with the item . Another 3 phone calls and being told he had done another delivery and was now delivering the item we finally recieved the item 40 minutes later after delivery . Didn't apologise until I said we had received no apology and no offer of money off our next order or another dish free ,nothing . We even had to pay for the prawn crackers , where most chinese delivery companies give them to you free if you spend over £15 or £20 . Not gona be using pholac anymore because the service for delivery is very poor lately

Recientemente tuve un take away de Phi - Lac y me sorprendió gratamente que la comida en realidad tuviera buen sabor. He vivido en la zona durante más de 5 años y nunca he comido en ninguno de los restaurantes chinos para llevar en la zona, ya que sentí que no estaban a la altura de mis estándares, Sin embargo, ahora que he probado Phi - Lac definitivamente volveré! Ofrecen un almuerzo especial que es genial y una buena relación calidad-precio, es alrededor de 6 y te dan un entrante principal y una bebida. . . . no puedo quejarme Las comidas son razonables e incluso puede obtener una comida para una persona, que es una carne o mariscos con arroz en un recipiente (recuerde pedir esto si está interesado) Si se encuentra en la zona en busca de buena comida, ¿por qué no prueba Phi - Lac, no se decepcionará! !

Wir haben 6 Tage direkt gegenüber gewohnt und nach vollen London Tagen war es die beste Möglichkeit mal was warmes zu essen. Die Speisekarte - 3,5 DIN A4 Seiten, 2 Spalten pro Seite, bestimmt 200-250 Gerichte Suppen 2,50-2,80, Curry mit Fleisch und Reis 4,90-5,60, Ho Fun Gebraten 5,40-5,80, Entengerichte 5,50, Meeresfrüchte 4,40-5,10. Die Paar Sachen, die wir dort gegessen haben (6) waren alle voll in Ordnung. Manches würziger, manches weniger, aber für schelles Essen wirklich OK. Am besten hat mir die Nr. 110 geschmeckt: Singapore Style Fried Ho Fun, Slightly Spicy, dry. Frühlingsrollen aus Massenproduktion, wie in D. Wie gesagt: für einen Imbiss für kleines Geld voll ok. Auch kann man, falls man denn möchte, das Essen an der Theke im Lokal verspeisen, 3 Plätze gibt es dort.

Found an ant in my food, I had gone back to change the rice from special to boiled which I admit was my mistake however man behind counter got quite aggressive about it......when I got my food back I found a dead ant in my food!! I had also ordered what was meant to be mixed veg in sweet and sour sauce, they gave me flat beans, pineapple and two broccolis, didn’t eat the food because I was put off but definitely not ordering again!

When I can't be bothered to go out or don't want to fork out huge amounts for Chinese food I call this place! They have excellent vegan dishes - at least four tofu dishes, plus the usual range, they have really great shredded beef and chicken dish and you can get things made extra spicy or slightly changed. Good portions. I've never been to the shop, so I can only say we've had no problems with the food in terms of possible hygiene issues.

I phoned my order in they said 10 minutes and as I walked in it was ready to go. Piping hot. Portion size was really good. Chicken and sweetcorn soup really nice thick consistency. I had the crispy chilli chicken and fried rice, large portions for what I paid. Full of flavour and heat. This place is worth a visit ... 10/10

The Take Away counter and behind are old and dirty looking. Staff who handle the food are not wearing gloves or aprons. Local council only gave it a 2 on standards rating which means it needs drastic improvement

food always taste fresh, i would say i order from there weekly and sometimes we eat in, but we usually just get a takeaway - fast delivery too

Worst Chinese food I have ever tasted don't wast your money go 2mins up the road to DING HO and enjoy your Chinese take away

This place has given me the wrong dish three times now. It's as if the people on the front desk are incapable of listening. The food is salty and always reheated. I am suspicious as the last time they got my order wrong they asked me to bring back the food as they wanted to resell it. I would recommend the place 20ft down the road, Ding Ho instead.
