Got the loaded platter comes with burger, donner, wings and masala fries. Burger was awesome, donner was good, wings were really good and the masala fries were average. Its worth the price and would recommend trying this.

Last night, my brothers and I found ourselves in east London after a very long time. I hadn’t been for a couple of years and my brothers hadn’t been for longer. We were about to leave but we wanted to eat something before we hit the road to head home and we walked into this place at around 11:30pm. They were only doing takeaway but we wanted to eat in as we had parked down the road and didn’t want to eat in the car. To our pleasant surprise, the main guy working the floor (Faizan) asked us to come and sit down if we didn’t take too long and we happily agreed. We ordered some smash burgers and some BBQ wings and they were absolutely delicious. Everything had so much flavour, the fries were crispy and fresh and he even gave us a few drinks on the house on our way out. He also checked on us to make sure our food was okay and if we wanted anything else. Really great service, despite being at the end of the day. Massive thanks for Faizan and the kitchen staff for giving us such a delicious meal before we headed out of east London. Looking forward to visiting you guys again, whenever I am in the area.

I tried the Fully Loaded Platter at Phat Bite, which includes lamb doner, two mango-flavoured wings, a smash burger, masala fries, salad, and a drink. The platter offers good variety, and the lamb doner was nicely seasoned. The mango wings had a unique flavour but could have been a bit juicier. The smash burger was decent but nothing extraordinary. Masala fries were tasty, adding a nice twist to the meal. Overall, it's a filling option, but the food could use a bit more attention to detail, especially considering the price. Not bad for a quick bite, but there’s room for improvement.

Food was very nice and enjoyable. They have good space at the back. Really enjoyed the smash burger and masala fries.

The food is great. We tried the Fully Loaded Platter with naga chips and buffalo wings. The wings felt too salty for me. But loved the rest. Cheaper price. Decoration is good and colourful. But the temperature is bit warm inside.

The guy on the till needs to watch out for how he speaks to customers.

Regular this place and the food is always hot and consistent, chips were nice and tasty, no complaints when it comes to portion size as they are generous. Dips were given and they were really good too. Tried the new Philly cheesesteak and the brisket burger, both were fantastic. Service also brilliant, brother at the counter always helpful.

Muhammad gave exceptional service, and the food is 10/10.

I walked into this place by chance and didn't expect anything special. It looks very clean and welcoming - that's the first thing you notice. But the food... I have never tasted such tender and tasty grilled meat in any burger. Well done guys! 6 stars from 5 :)

Absolutely delicious! The portions are a good size and the flavour is on point. The lamb chops were nice and flavoured, the doner was cooked well, the chicken wings were tasty and the burger was too good. Enjoyed it very much and will definitely be ordering again.

The customer service from Muhammad was excellent. My wife, daughter and I had a great fast food meal here and the portions are a good size. I really enjoyed the burgers, and barbecued two joint chicken wings. The grilled food is the star.

Unfortunately food was not great, biryani was bland (big portion though), loaded fries were ok. They didn't give the chips with my son's kids meal (was not worth contacting about it). Cheap packaging. Update - Excellent communication from the owner to address my points, will be giving them another go.

The box deals are the best. Has a bit of everything and good portion sizes. The price is definitely good as quality of food and ingredients are better compared to others I've tried.

Every time I have ordered from here, the food has been consistently good. The masala chips are to die for and the chops are so succulent. My favourite is the platter with the burger, masala chips, chops, wings and kebabs. Portions are massive. Really good value. Please order without hesitation.

I’m a regular customer when it comes to ordering from Phatbite Ilford, however I have been let down this time around. I usually order through Uber eats and the service never disappoints, this time I ordered via the Phatbite app as there was a 20% off. My order came 50 minutes late and I was not made aware till I called after the expected time of delivery. After receiving the order which was now cold I had found a hair in one of the loaded donner meals. I did call the restaurant and they could only say that they were sorry for the cold food and the hair that had been found. After receiving a call from the PHAT BITE owner this morning he was very prompt and apologetic and rectified and compensated the mistakes which happened with my order last night. I have been very impressed with the customer service so thank you very much!

Came here for a spontaneous iftar with family. Ordered couple of fully loaded boxes. Really enjoyed the food, it was hot and freshly cooked, didn't have to wait too long, Service was great too! Will come back soon and highly recommended!!

Ordered their iftar box, they gave me 2 burger buns, was wondering why it was so light, only to find the chicken in-between the burger buns missing. LOL

The food is a let down, ordered a Ramadan box (where the burger was missing) the doner biryani is extremely dry and the doner just about has some sort of flavor but taste damp. Won't be visiting again!

Honestly I came here a while ago and I’ve been raving on about this place. It was one of the best restaurants I have been to for a while. Normally when restaurants offer quite a few stuff on the menu they don’t all taste nice, but here everything was amazing , from biryani to smash burgers to wings the lot! I need to come back here soon!

I would highly recommend the the single stack grilled chicken burger. Cooked literally to perfection, nice crunchy edges along with a soft interior in the centre of the bun. Brilliant burger! The donner was also good however it’s something which is a common trend especially around the local area with most takeaways now supplying the same style donner. Great food and the service was also very good however I would recommend having someone at the till at all times as it’s not the best look when 1 person is running between the till and kitchen to take orders and then run to go get collection orders, just seems a bit untidy. Besides for that food is great 👍

I got creamy lamb donner with chips, it tasted nice and was good to eat. However, portion size was too small for the lamb donner which was disappointing. However, Muhammad’s service was impeccable. Very supportive and communicative and helpful as it was my first time. The 3 stars are for him making a nice welcoming experience.

Called today to make an order for collection at the Ilford site and I was welcomed by an absolute horrible member of staff. No customer care whatsoever he asked me what I wanted in the most unfriendly tone of voice I ordered a Mini mix grill platter he said “Okay will be ready in 15 minutes” and then proceeded to ask about my payment method. Not once did he ask for my flavours or anything, I then asked if I can choose my flavours only for him to say “you can only have peri peri” I said well on your website it says to choose from flavours of your choice? Which he then replied by saying “well why don’t you order from online then” I was a little thrown back by this so I told him not to brother with the order in disappointment. I asked for his name to which he put the phone down. I will not recommend this establishment nor will I be calling them again for food.

A lot of burger joints in Ilford, but Phat Bite smash burger wins hands down, fresh, tasty and delicious a smash burger done properly. Also had loaded chicken fries, full of flavour, would definitely recommend if you fancy that all good smash burger 🍔

Honestly I was genuinely skeptical when the food arrived as it looked like most common fast food spots with their smashed or regular cheese burgers and doner and chips, but holy smokes was I surprised with the quality of the food. Albeit the shop was freezing inside not sure if heating was on or if it was the constant opening of the doors because of constant customers or delivery drivers, but just goes to show the quality of the food and their commitment to keeping the standards up. Keep up the good work lads. 5Star delivery 👍🏼

One of the best places if u want a really good juicy smash burger. The taste, flavours portion size everything is just on point. The best smash burger I’ve had til date. And not just the burgers their masala chips and donors r excellent. It’s real comfort food. Customer service is really good too👍🏻

Been there several times and always found them very humble and resilient. The fully loaded platter is a must to try and the quantity is so good if you have a big belly😂😂😂. We were two yet struggled to finish one single platter….

Heard a lot about this place so thought we'd pop down as it wasn't to far of a drive for us. Service was on point! Was provided recommendations by the very welcoming staff member. We went for the House special (medium spice), portion size was very generous but what killed the entire evening and the enjoyment of the food was the level of spice that all the items had (apart from the burger). We just couldn't taste any sort of flavour as the spice just burnt through. We spoke to the guy that served us and informed him of the issue and he immediately apologised and said that there's been an issue from the kitchen as the chef has changed the sauce today to try out something different. Unfortunately, we had to be the ones that the sauce was being tested upon :/ Nevertheless, we would love to revisit and become a regular but feel that without the above issue being resolved we'll just have to hold off. Ps. Anyone that loves spice or enjoys a good quality smash burger then this is definitely worth a try!

Banging food, 10/10 service. After a long day on the track this was the perfect place to come and munch.

In my honest opinion, the food here is overrated. The masala chips were good and I’ve seen a few comments on here of the donner or wings being too spicy but I actually think spice levels are pretty decent. It’s just not THAT great and don’t think i’d be excited to order again. Maybe i’ll try dining in next time and see if the experience is any different.
