The Smash Burgers were amazing the service was great highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed

The staff were so friendly and pleasant on our arrival, the fish was made to perfection and my partner had the smash burger which he demolished. He was happy with how his burger was made. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family

We went for some cod and chips but ended up going for their smash burger menu. I had the classic smash smash burger and my partner had the meat monster burger, as that had 4 beef patties. Burgers were absolutely delicious. Definitely prefer these over the burger boi franchise, even though they are good, these were hands down better. The young lad working the grill was really helpful in helping us to decide on what burger to have. Highly recommend this place, will definitely be back. thumbs up.

Great fish and chips. Delicious southern fried chicken too. Visited here on a Friday evening. There was a really long line of people waiting. So that was a good sign as far as I was concerned. Wasn't disappointed. Highly recommended.

Found this place by chance. We were going to the local barbers and they were talking about it. I had the battered chips and the challenger gourmet burger. Absolutely delicious. About time Perton had something decent. Saves me traveling to Wolverhampton city centre. Thank you SYD'S

Best fish and chips I've had for a while. I don't know how any one could say the food isn't good. I think sometimes people have just got bad intentions. Best battered chips in town. Fish was big and crispy and to top it all. They do gourmet mouth watering smash burgers. Try it for yourself. Don't take my word for it. You won't be disappointed

Perton fish and chip shop- now called Syd’s. Truely awful. My fish was both rubbery and soggy. The chips were underdone and tasted like the oil need changing. The chicken kebab was inedible and the dinner was more greasy than I’ve ever know. Overpriced bad food.

Someone recommended Perton fish bar to me. They now do battered chips. Saves me so much time in travelling. Chips are delicious and portions are big. This is now my go to chip shop. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed

Used to go to Majors in willenhall for battered chips as a treat and was told Perton fish bar do them. So went down as it’s my local. Amazing taste. I’d say better than Majors. Highly recommend visiting them just for the battered chips. Friendly staff too. So five star rating from me.

discusting food , chips not cooked enough and very pappy , and very expencive, you dont ever warm a pie up in the microwave

this fish bar sold me high quality amazing chips that tasted like an explosion of flavour and the fish is probably good idk im vegetarian anyway this fish bar very good but the owner is kinda creepy .

Worst chippie we've been in for years. Chips are like doorsteps which are not even cooked properly. couldn't even eat them! Chicken meat was dry even when covered in Mayonnaise. Overpriced for what you get and got charged wrong twice! Will not go back

Can order on Uber Eats to be delivered contact free to your home. Halloumi wrap, potato fritter and tinned roe, were all cooked fresh, well packaged and hot on arrival.

Me sorprende que las críticas no sean mejores.He comido pescado y papas fritas varias veces y el kebab una vez.ambos son buenos y agradables.Estacionar es muy fácil.También le doy mi gorra a este chippy, ya que fue el primero en abrirse durante el encierro, seguramente eso merece una estrella extra.

We had an halloumi burger with salad and sauce, a tinned roe, regular chips and 2 pieces of southern fried chicken with chips and it came to about £10.34. The card machine did not work so had to go to the cash point after placing my order. Staff seemed pleasant. Chips were not greasy, my daughter prefers the Black Country orange chips but these are normal chips. Social distancing markings and screens are in place but staff not wearing masks. No delivery service but parking available outside. We enjoyed our meal.

Customer Service very poor. Over priced chippy & very disappointed in the quality of the food. Ordered chips & mixed meat, both were cold & they run out of salad, staff member covered it in BBQ sauce and not chilli sauce. Couldn't eat any of it. Partners meal was just as bad!! Will not be visiting this chippy again.

Unfortunately this is the only chippy local to us which means we have to drive out to grab one as this one isn’t great. Food quality is poor, chips are very pale in colour & sometimes hard & also overpriced compared to other chippy’s. Not very welcoming staff either not as nice of an atmosphere as you get in other chip shop’s.But If they started doing orange battered chips I would overlook the rest & use it regularly lol

prices seem to change. Owner not very welcoming staff always changing and seem to be constantly changing. A nice welcome would be nice when you walk in

Went last night for two lots of fish and chips. Half of my chips I was unable to eat as they were hard, flat the kind of chips which should have been thrown away and not sold to a customer. Did not enjoy the batter on the fish either. They are quite expensive and certainly not worth the money. Will not be going back,

My wife visited here tonight and had a mini cod having been told previously that it was better value and larger than the mini fish. Customer service from both staff and manager was awful with them laughing behind her back. Shall not be using this establishment again even though it’s our local. If you are looking for good old fashioned customer service with a smile you certainly won’t find it here..

Visited here for fish and chips today. Asked for two battered sausages and one ordinary sausage however when we got home realised that it was the other way round.Disappointed.

Food is OK curry sauce is amazing but the fish batter is always soggy! I had it wrapped seperatly tonight and still wasn't a right. Most important thing for a fish and chip shop to get right one would assume. Please get it sorted, I really want to support the local business but batter has always been a joke here
