Stopped in for a coffee, was excellent quality. Music very John Martyn and Joni Mitchell heavy which was amazing. 5*! Would definitely recommend even if just for the niche folk music...!

Perky Blenders is my all-time favourite chain in East London. I can trust that the coffee is good quality and I like the community feel in their stores. The price is also lower than what most coffee shops have and if you bring your own cup it makes a really good value for money. Don't really need to say much more about it, it is what it is, tasty, honest coffee.

This coffee shop is in the old magistrates court which now is some sort of council office, it's quite cool to sit and watch the council worjers coming and going and having their meetings in amongst the milling mothers and their children. The staff are harassed and disinterested, and on my last visist down right rude. It's not as slick as one of the big coffee chains in terms of service either.

Stopped at this place with my wife for coffee and cake. Both items were OK. The place was clean enough. Despite reading some of the negative reviews we found this place OK.

Probably in fact the worst Italian food since DeMedici in San Pedro . Our first course a brown cheese dish very overcooked and under flavoured ,The main course Linguini with prawns ,floating in a horrible brown goo meant to be a fish sauce , which came from the local canal awful ,I eat 1/4 my wife did not eat more than one spoonful . Our friend sent back her first and second course ,in -edible a replacement arrived not sure what the pasta was, floating in a very bright orange sauce A pizza arrived very badly presented but was eaten by one friend Who was hungry .The owner waiter was not interested and nor were we .Only the company made for a pleasant evening . I can’t believe some of the positive reviews . Maybe the chef was mourning the Chelsea’s lost today . Whetstone0 Why oh why is it so difficult to get very basic Italian food cooked correctly ? Very very disappointed .

Another crappy KFC branch. Must be an east London thing where all the branches are run as tin pot back street outlets. Hadn’t been to a KFC in a very long while and against my better judgement chanced my arm at this Leyton Mills branch passing by as I was short on time…. got floppy barely warm ‘fries’, saw one customer return his. Tasteless Zinger burger with coating that was falling off before I even picked it up and also looked undercooked. Saw another customer ask for wet wipes to cleanse his hands and he was directed to the dirty toilets. Dirty toilets with urine on the floor and taps that don’t work unless you hold them down with one hand whilst washing the other hand?! I recommend keeping away from this place. Instead go to one of the local independent outlets like BFC nearby where you will always get consistent and better quality food and value for money.
