Peri Peri Original in Barnet

Ordered a meal around 5 pm due for latest 6 pm. Rang the restaurant after it was 15 mins late they answered then hung up. This happened multiple times. We gave up and tried to cancel our order at 6 30 then it turned up at 6 50. Gave us wrong drinks, missing a portion on chips, and chicken wings were hard inside. Only reason we ate was we were starving. Poor Food Poor Service Rude Lazy staff.

AWFUL!!! The food was over half an hour late and freezing cold when it arrived. They gave us the wrong drinks and the chicken burgers were not cooked. As a pregnant woman, this was very dangerous . We rung up the takeaway and I could hear them laughing in the background and when the manager was put onto the phone, he was rude and hung up on me when we told him we would be ringing food standards agency. Would not recommend!!! Luckily just eat customer services were very helpful.

Drink didn't come although I had ordered a meal which states a drink as well. The food was cold as they were later than the delivery slot. Overall not good.

After 45 minutes I placed the order I have called the restaurant asking if the food were on the way or not. The person at the phone told me in a rude way the chicken is in the grill, and that if they are late is not their fault because they don't do delivery more than 3miles away and they accepted the order (for asap) mistakenly. I live in Willesden Green, and their restaurant -in Hendon - was avaible in the choise, I didn't even check were they are located. After this, the man told me the food would be with me in 10-15 min. After other 40 mins I called again and another man complained to me for the same reason "you are too far, we shouldn't have delivered to you". When the driver arrived - circa 10-15mins later, he apologised for the delay. I said "don't worry, it's not your fault, but I would have appreciate your team was kind over the phone, rather than rude as they were". He asked me the reason, and he was shocked to hear that and apologised again. The man who was travelling with him (really, two people in one car?????) he became rude as well, saying the same things as the instore team!!!!! This is extremely unprofessional, and instead of complain because I'm far you can cancel the order. I wouldn't mind. But this kind of attitude is unacceptable. (They said they have only 1driver, so if you feel hungry, expect your order arriving in 1h 30 mins. )

I usually don't complain, but when you generally have 1 hour delivery service and after ordering add 15-20 mins to it, but delivery comes 30 mins later on top of THAT, it's not okay, guys. What's worse, it's not a one time thing. This has been happening repeatedly for several times already.

Ordered at 10pm got delivered at 11.50pm, over half an hour after the expected delivery time, contacted the restaurant who said the delivery had left 5 minutes previous, the food was then delivered over 20 minutes later, considering the restaurant was less than 5 minutes walking distance and that the delivery was also made on foot, I was/am very disappointed in this service. Food was hot/ok, although burger was meant to be hot and didn't have any flavour/heat, also ordered a mixed salad for £2 something, very disappointed at the size and quality, I guess that's what you get for ordering salad from a takeaway. On the whole very disappointed as I previously really enjoyed food from this place, but will not be ordering again!

Never turned up even after calling numerous times and being told '5 minutes' and it says it's been delivered. Maybe the food was nice, I'll never get to know.

Delivery time, initially 20 minutes extra added on, totaling a 1 hr 5 min wait. No problem. 15 minutes past that, no delivery... Called the restaurant who said driver had already left. So basically they ended up being a further 20 minutes late after the 20 minutes initially added! - 1 hr 25 min delivery time total. Then the food was cold and the drinks were missing from BOTH our meals. So not impressed and definitely won't be ordering again.

Delivery Time - Original time was set back by 30 minutes. OK. Food arrived another hour late after the NEW time. Traffic... it happens. But guys, if you're running late by this much give your customers a call... don't leave them guessing. Service - Having not been informed about the delay, called the shop. Guy picks up, takes my order number... goes quiet. I hear a customer walk in and start making an order so he hangs up. Call back, response along the lines of "I don't speak much English, I just work here, call back in an hour" Quality - By the time it arrived, lukewarm. Chicken was quite dry and chips soggy. Order arrives... guy checks the order and the drink is missing. He offers to refund me for it, which was fine, I said don't worry about that, he asked me not to leave a negative review... I was about to let it slide... Opened the order after he left... what should have been 8 hot wings turned out to be 5. I won't order again. If you choose to, enjoy.

Worse place ever, food awful, Delivery disgraceful,i should of picked it up from the place. 2 Hours DELAY!!! literally starved until i got my food. HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED

The food is your standard chicken shop stuff. Prices are somewhat decent but where this place falls apart is it's delivery times. Having to wait 2 hrs for a burger and chips is unacceptable. It's fast food! Sadly, this wouldn't be a place I'd recommend at the moment. If the delivery issue is sorted then this place may be worth considering.

Not sure what's happened here - this place is normally really good, but I was left disappointed this time. Delivery was fast. However, I ordered lemon & herb chicken, got a medium spicy one which was burnt and unappetising. Chips were almost cold and the lovely mixed leaf salad with olives and such that they used to send had been replaced with a generic iceberg lettuce, tomato and cucumber one. Bit of a downgrade guys, hope it's not permanent...

The hot wings and bbq wings were simply amazing. The chicken was okay, a bit greasy tho.

My order was fast and it came before the time it said but that makes me think the food wasn't cooked to the best standards. The Peri peri chicken in the wrap was dry and a bit hard. The wedges were soft unlike last time I ordered which they were crispy and newly made. This time it tasted as if they were put in a microwave. I didn't really enjoy the lamb kofta, the meat was okay but the pitta didn't seem fresh. The onion rings are lovely though. My last order the food was amazing but this time it was kind of disappointing. I think it's a hit or miss with this restaurant. .

I had a very good experience. Food arrived warm and on the time the restaurant said. I loved the peri peri chicken wrap. The wedges was nice and crispy. I will be ordering again.

The chicken tastes great, as usual, but the family meal we ordered arrived with half the quantity of fries that it used to - which is the opposite of what one would expect, given a recent price increase!

The food was really bad, had to be thrown away, couldn't even bite into the chicken. Really disappointed as we have always ordered our burgers from here. Won't be ordering again.

I did my order at 9.25pm, I received an email saying the estimate hour would be 10.10pm. At 11pm my food wasn't here yet, I called the restaurant and they told me my order was on its way (the guy looked like not very interested). At 11.30 I decide to call the just eat customer service and they gave me the chance to cancel my order and have a refund. Honestly, I order food online quite often and it is the first time this happens. I don't recommend this "restaurant" at all. It's a shame!!! I don't understand why this kind of places are in important websites like just eat.

Unfortunately this is not the first time that I place a big order and some items are missing from the bag. Though this time I even have left a message to the restaurant to ask them paying attention to this. And still was missing something, again. Delivery time is very long, usually you need to add plus an hour more on top of the estimated one. Food quality was disappointing, seasoning wasn't what I have ordered, so my food was too hot which I couldn't feed to my kids at all. Don't think I will keep ordering from this restaurant. I like peri chicken but not from this branch.

Food was cold , also I found deep fried chicken which I didn't ordered at all . One burger suppose to be with bun another one without bun( with lemon and herbs) but both burgers were without bun . Driver was very nice and polite . Disappointed ,will never ordered again . Also deliver wasn't on time took more than 60 Min .

This is the first time we tried this place and I wish I read reviews before ordering. Terrible service. Took over an hour to be delivered and half of our order was missing. Shame because we enjoyed the chicken that we got. Phoned them to complain and they offered to deliver the rest but we didn't fancy waiting another hour. Won't be ordering again.

I've left a review before for this company but wanted to leave another. The first 2 times our food arrived extremely late. Now the company has been trying hard to please us each time we order and our delivery time has drastically improved. Food is great and tasty.

This time the delivery time was more or less accurate, not as usual with an hour or more of delay. But surprisingly this time the chicken was almost cold, didn't seem to be fresh enough the food. Overall wasn't happy with what I have got.

2nd time I've used this venue and the 2nd time its been extremely late on delivery, despite ringing the restaurant after 30 minutes over delivery ETA. The food is ok really but the delivery is just terrible. I live nearby but not near enough to walk, so it shouldn't take that long. I'd give it more stars and use it more if this place could improve on timing.

Not the best quality it appears. Chicken strips were very dry. Sauce good. Did not expect chicken wings to be crumbed - prefer grilled.

Order took an hour and fifteen minutes despite saying it was delivered it actually arrived about five or so minutes after this rang up they said they'd left lets note that takeaway is 2 minutes away!! Didn't come for twenty minutes after that so obviously had not left! Driver offered no apology just handed food walked away. Food was all stone cold.

I was a loyal customer, but recently they have changed the food quality and quantity. Only worth buying peri peri chicken on its own. Burgers are too small now, fries are cold and not very good quality and also prices have increased. Will look for alternative.

Will not be ordering from here again. Had problem after problem every time we order form here. Have kept giving them a chance to improve but still same awful service. Waiting time is always way more than stated and then tonight they have not delivered the full order. Driver told us they would bring back missing item within 30 minutes. An hour later we ring and they say they're still having issues but will deliver later. Called them back 2 and a half hours later and now they're saying they can't deliver. Shocking service, such a shame as we have been regular customers for many years. Never again.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Food was late and cold, couldn't eat it after trying one of their chips. Driver drove to the wrong house then drove up the path to the right house, very dangerous and illegal!! Having to cook an actual dinner so we don't go hungry.

Ordered the food at 7pm to be told it would be here by 8pm. Phoned at 8:20 to see where it was to be told it is on route. Food finally turned up at 8:45pm! Not impressed and will not be ordering from here again.

Delivery took longer than scheduled. Ordered a coke,was given Pepsi. When I called to find out why,I was told' Well what can I say,we get busy sometimes and things happen' My response 'Well,you can start by apologising'.

Quarter chicken is one leg piece? Get a ruler or a measurer of some sort nd measure a quarter of a chicken. The burger was cold as f taste plain, I don't know why I ordered from here it used to be nice but now it taste so wack..

Thought I'd give them a second chance after last times disappointment. I would recommend you avoid this restaurant. Impossible to get through to on the phone, no excuses given for being 1 hour late (2 hours wait in total). Food arrived cold. Will definitely not be using again.

Good portion sizes but food didn't taste good and was really greasy. Presentation wise they didn't place everything into a bad rather than just drop it in. My box was open and fries were falling out. Delivery time was great. Wont use the again, though.

Delivery took 1 hour and 15 mins ( they always take forever although they are at the top Of the road ) but food always come hot and quality is good. If you don't mind waiting worth ordering. If your your hungry now then it's not for you!

The peri peri wings tiny and I asked for extra hot but seem like just about hot, lemon and herb only the leg was alright but the rest of the chicken tasted very dry. The chilli sauce tasted like ketchup and watery. Chips was probably the best thing.

Fries were nice, chicken pieces tasted ok, but spicy wings were rancid and smelt disgusting. Clearly old chicken cooked in the hopes that the spices would disguise the fact the chicken should have been binned. Didn't work

The chicken wings were hairy and partially black, fillet burger tasted sour, I regularly order from them, something went horribly wrong today and I'm never going to order from these guys again!!!
