Big Papa's in Barnet

Used to be open late, however I have visited several times in the last few months and the shop has not been open past 12. On most of these occasions I've just been passing, however it is misleading to advertise themselves as open till 3:30-4:00AM when they in fact are not.

Hands down the best pizza in town! Each slice is a mouthwatering masterpiece, with the perfect blend of toppings and a crust that's pure perfection. A must-visit for any pizza lover!

If you suddenly need a burger at 9pm, this is the place..never had a bad one..and their milkshakes are proper too! :)

Very tasty and the pizza is very cheesy and crispy just how people like it very cheap aswell.Extra large for only about £8. I highly recommend the 15” pizza with tandoori chicken and mushrooms and sweetcorn very tasty. Other than that the atmosphere is vey good In a peaceful area and vey friendly employees.

Great place, amazing burgers would suggest the half pounder but if your looking for something more filling absolutely great pizzas 🫡

Amazing food and customer service

Every-time I’ve ordered from here the food has been over 30 minutes late and always arrives cold. Service is terrible and food isn’t far off. Defo don’t order from here

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Big Papa Pizza. I placed an order for pizza on April 30th, and unfortunately, my pizza was never delivered. Despite my attempts to contact them, they did not respond, leaving me feeling frustrated and let down. Their failure to deliver my pizza and lack of communication were completely unacceptable. As a customer, I expected them to fulfill their end of the bargain, and they failed to do so. This unprofessional behavior is a clear indication that they do not value their customers or their reputation. Overall, I would strongly advise against ordering from Big Papa Pizza. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for their customers' needs is completely unacceptable. I hope that they take responsibility for their actions and work towards improving their service in the future. Until then, I will not be ordering from them again, and I would caution others against doing so as well.

Ordered for the first time after a recommendation after hour I phone the shop to be told order is on its way two hrs later get phone call from the shop telling me they have problems with the order I said it’s 4am in morning two hrs after I placed the order I am going cancel and told I have already took it with Uber eat to get a sarcastic comment back and the phone being being put down on me I will never be giving them my business again !!

I used to order from here before and it wasn’t that great. However, I think they have changed their management recently as food is being delivered on time and it’s very nice! Will definitely be ordering again. Good luck guys!

I had a bad experience with this place in the past, the food just came like 6 hours late but since then the place is open super late, has produced some absolutely banging food as far as burgers go and the chips are always a bit dry and soggy but in a way that weirdly partners well with the burger. Overall the delivery times have been really good since although a little daunting as it’s not Uber eats who run the delivers so being unable to track or anything is a bit frustrating. The food has just been actually amazing for a super late night place and have redeemed themselves after a late delivery. I can respect a place that works on their weaknesses to grow as a business, even a fast food place. Keep it coming! Btw I always order on Uber eats so I’m sure the quality of chips is better when you pickup yourself. Also the food for 2 people is about £50 so vastly exceeds KFC and other competitors. But the food is decent so big up this place.

Worst delivery I have ever seen, Uber should remove such restaurant. Not committed with the timing given on app. If I can do anything the best that I could do is to remove this restaurant from planet. Literally don’t have words to express. Really Really Really worst. Don’t ever try this.

Paid for an order that didn’t arrive and the number for the restaurant wouldn’t go through, when I did manage to get through to them they had terrible customer support

I’m only giving this restaurant 1 star as I can’t give them 0. I’ve order 3 times from this place and my delivery always takes more than 1 hour and a half. Every time you try to contact them the line is busy-they obviously put the phone down so that they won’t have to deal with the complaints. It’s an absolute disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

Not all of my order arrived which I really do understand can happen but I was then told over the phone there was no way to refund or send out rest of order with different delivery so they've just kept the money. Go literally anywhere else

They cancelled my order on Uber eats saying that I had personally called them and cancelled my order , I found this out from the app. I called big papas and was told my food would still arrive (as I had been charged the full amount for the cancellation that I never asked for) it’s been almost two hours and I have been hung up on and been told that it would be delivered within 20 minutes three times and now dead silent on their end. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Genuinely the worst experience ive ever had with any type of food. You’re literally better off going to asda and getting a frozen pizza or frozen nuggets they’ll taste better than what was sent to us. After waiting 2 hours to get our food. The food genuinely taste AWFUL, the nuggets taste like cardboard and the pizza taste FAR from any tomato paste or cheese. The food was also missing a portion of fries but they weren't missed as the ones arrived were oily.

Do not order from here! Food came 2hrs late and everything was a big cold disappointment. No notification of when the food would arrive and the phone line is unreachable. Appalling service and I advise all future customers to reconsider before making a purchase.

This place is awful I've been assaulted at my door by delivery driver as he turns up 2 hours late and declined food he then starts swearing and shouting at me waking my house up so I try shouting door and puts his foot into door waving his arms.in my face. I ordered from this restaurant today on Just Eat and my food was marked as delivered but it did not arrive. I attempted to call Big Papa’s almost 100 times and every time I rang the call was directed as ‘User Busy’. This is very unprofessional, I understand that the delivery status of the food is out of their hands and not their fault but for a restaurant that closes at 04:00am and is completely unavailable at 03:24am is very disappointing. I know now to never order from this ‘business’ again and to avoid it at all costs. Steer clear.

Ridiculous and disrespectful service !. I’ve been waiting for an order which have not been delivered for around 2 hours, the delivery driver who’s works to the restaurant therefore is the restaurant responsibility also have lied that he’ve tried to call me to deliver my order. Do not order from here awful service. I ordered through Uber eats, waited over 2 hours for my food to arrive and they missed half of my order, the rest was inedible! It’s absurd how they can mess up literally everything in one order! They really need to take a close look on their business and fix their issues! Disgusting!

Why would you take a customers money with zero intention of delivering the food or answering the phone (which they leave on engaged so you can’t even contact them) or trying to contact the customer....?? Honestly surprised uber still lets you operate on their app considering all your reviews say you do this to a lot of people. Ridiculous time wasting thieves. They also say the order/delivery was completed so currently struggling to even get a refund for something that didn’t even turn up.

if i’m honest wouldn’t even give 1 star.. I ordered this before it came 2 hours late but let them off as guessed they were busy and the food was ok.. However, ordered a second time months later i’ve waited 4 hours for food that was ordered after midnight 2 hours later was told food just left and they were busy and it should arrive soon and now i’m waiting still for food that isn’t here 4 hours later and the app now says delivered. SO BAD.. shows 1 star rating as well on food hygiene if you check the restaurant online.. WONT EVER ORDER AGAIN.

If you order online at least you don’t see how they prepare the food. I was there last night and order a simple burger meal. I can assure you they haven’t clue about making the basic sandwich. The lady with long hair didn’t have even a hair cover then if you see hair in your food don’t complain and none of them had a work clothes or hat. With the same hand they get the cash from you they prepare dough for your pizza too. Be aware its health hazard.

First time I ordered from this place last night I ordered a burger and asked for Ketchup and Mustard, I recieved a burger with onions and Mayonnaise. I ordered a 7 up and they sent me a Fanta. Funny thing the driver asked me to leave a review. These guys are asleep, wake up man you messed up the entire order.

Ordered from uber eats. Cheesy chips had no cheese, food was cold, they ignored all of our requests for cheese with the burger and extra sauce. Waste of money. Was really looking forward to the food but my partner and I were disgusted.

Took 1.5 hours to deliver and had their phones on engaged the entire time so just had to wait. I specifically told them not to ring my bell as my kids were asleep, this was at half midnight, they showed up at 2am and rang my bell, woke my kids up. I wouldnt recommend this place.

I ordered with my bro on Uber eats and after 1.5 hours.. still hasn’t arrived and the restaurant isn’t answering my calls. Why take orders if you’re closed? Why have a phone if you don’t answer it?

Would let me comment without putting a star BUT I made a order and what I got was incorrect. x1 pizza was OK I got that x1 garlic bread with cheese x 4 NEVER got that was only normal garlic bread. x1 1.5L bottle of coke he forgot. The driver said he would come back straight away he CAME BACK OVER A HOUR AND THEY ARE 10 MIN DRIVE AWAY. POOR SERVICE PAID JUST OVER 16.00 FOR WHAT! WON'T ORDER HERE AGAIN

Best burger in town no doubt! Quality burger meat in generous portion as well as tasty and fresh brioche bun. Highly recommend!

Today was my first time trying food from big papas and it was absolutely amazing, the staff were also lovely. I would highly recommend this place.

I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is fantastic and the crew is very friendly and cooperative. always when we go to this place we pass a lovely time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Really bad. Was an hour late, arrived with no drink and a pitiful amount of soggy, cold chips. Was told i could have 20% off my next order. Jokes on them im never ordering from here again! Avoid unless you want to be dissapointed.

I had been recommended Big Papa's by a friend. I ordered 2 pizzas and the homemade burger. The pizza was very fresh, nice dough and toppings. I went in the evening but they have some great lunchtime deals. However it was the homemade burger that really caught my attention. Good size, full of flavour and brilliant value for money. I came back a couple of days later with another friend who also loved the burger.

My experience here was very terrible! Ordered a pepperoni pizza.. once I opened the box there was lots of green peppers and slime" plus some type of burnt mushrooms which I don't know why they threw that on there! Cheese Stuff crust had no cheese! "It was stuffed with doh " iv just eaten this and felt sick hence the one star! Also delivery man said he didn't want to break into a pound coin for the 20 pence he owed me in change.

That's unacceptable I did the order everything done Coming the driver he didn't have change I let him the rest then I start eating when I finished I just checked the order to see if I get everything then I saw was missing and the coleslaw 1 star or 💩 Never anymore !

it's not a bad place there ok all round but it's just they barbecue sauce in the pepperoni pizza instead of tomato purée, why would u do that??i guess the stoners would love it but not my thing. But I won't put them down on that as that's the only thing I've ever ordered from there. Have no idea what there other food is like. I will order from them again just not the barbecue sauce pizza

Only bought online and is awesome food

The food is just as bad as the service. I ordered a prawn dish which came with no prawns but only sauce. After calling them and complaining I was told I could order another dish the next day for free. When I called them the next day they refused to give me a free dish. I wouldn't recommend anyone to order from there the staff is very rude and the food is honestly not worth it at all. I will never order from there again.

Took over an hour to deliver 2 disgusting pizzas. Then when it did Come they messed up with the card machine so couldn't pay after my friends had eaten half of the pizza in this time he asked for the pizzas back because there was no way to pay after we said to them on the phone that we were paying by card! worst bit was that the driver called my girlfriend up the next day from his mobile phone meaning he had taken her personal private details and was being intimidating and rude down the phone shouting! Very unprofessional establishment with terrible quality food and rude service

after being recommended by strangers i was over hearing on the bus, i can say that they are fresh, tasty and brilliant service! best pizza and chicken wings in the whole of barnet. i will definitely swear by this take away for life! going back for more!

Simply the best Indian takeaway I have ever had and gutted they don't deliver to our new house! All the dishes are fresh, tasty and avoid the gloopiness (!!) that can plague many Indian takeaways. I recommend the Chicken Jalfezi (the best I have ever had) and the paneer tikka.
