Costa Coffee in Barnet

This Costa is in a HOSPITAL. There were patients everywhere who were very ill and there is a big chance people have just passed and the staff workers were screaming laughing for over 10 minutes as the patients were sadly looking. They have no care for others and they also said they don't serve cold drinks in a very rude tone and went back to laughing insanely

Coffee was good. Fairly busy to be expected... But I want to note that the manager (assumedly) is very rude. To his staff and customers. Speaks down on them and yet seems to do the least work! Needs a word had to him

Very poor service 😔 3 people served one customer and I waited 10 minutes for my coffee when there was not busy.

Staff close early most days. Wednesday they were closed before 5pm and stopped cold drinks by 4.30pm. Other days they close at 5.30pm but never as late as the advertised times.

40 min queuing during lunchtime (12-12.40),Costa should implement a better system to cope with busy times,or take a look at staff and how efficient they are,unacceptable....

It’s not the best run Costa, but it’s fine for a hospital. I’ve observed occasional issues with staffing, online orders and menu knowledge. Some training would probably help, but they seem to cope okay given how busy it usually is

Disorganised, bordering on incompetent staff. Very slow service. They are likely to cancel your online order and claim they didn't receive it if they are busy.

My mother went to pick up some coffee and a pastry while at the hospital. She was having difficulty with her banking app and when she went to pay, her card was declined. She was a bit confused and planned to put things back, but Rahu and his colleague/manager (unsure and didn’t get a name, sorry) told her it was okay, she could have the items. I see some other reviews mentioning rudeness of staff at this branch, so please know that it doesn’t apply to everyone there. Thanks for your kindness :)

This is an amazing place where they have now started selling coffee! I believe it is proof of the value of a sole Independant entrepreneur owner. I wish her luck on expanding his outlet into a chain. Such a rude manager. He doesn't know how to speak with people! Never going to buy anything there because of him

Online it says it closes at 6pm but since I’ve been here its always closed by 3pm. it’s the only place outside of the restaurant in the hospital and isn’t open until what it says it is

The main man there is very rude. The food was not topped up once in the four days I was there. I bought the last pastry and no more appeard before I left hospital. Coffee was poor.

I loved the atmosphere even being inside a hospital. Quick service and good manners.

Given that this is based in the hospital the openning times should be a little bit more extended.

Extremely slow service, even if there's very few customers. Lack of empathy considering that they are based in a hospital.

This Costa is located inside Barnet Hospital. On the day I went the shop had no food at all. They also had run out of milk. Only milk alternatives were available.
