Delicious food, friendly service, great vibe. Really worth every penny.

Great atmosphere and delicious food, especially the pasta and pizza dishes. Given we have eaten in every restaurant in Cockfosters, I can say the desserts are, hands down, the best! (tiramisu, cheesecake, chocolate fondant and crème brûlée) The staff are professional, warm and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Pepos, we had a lovely evening.

I went there different times with my friends and also with my family, every time we went there the quality of the foods are the same. Every thing we ate was delicious, service was very good and they are so kind. We will definitely go again 👍🏻

Really enjoyed Pepos. The starters were the highlight of the meal, especially the courgette frittes and the arancini! Pastas were also really good, the only thing I’d give a miss on the next visit is the pizza. Service is really good and I’d definitely be back!!

Lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor but to cut to the chase amazing food. Not often that my family bickers about sampling each others dishes but had to on this occasion. I have to say, Ioved mine the best the best and didn'twant to share, the Lobster linguine, divine sauce and so tasty. Rounded of with a delightful creme bruciata. Thanks to Serkan and the whole of the Pepos team who made our meal a special one 👌

This is a follow up review by Beth Pugh using my husband’s account as I’ve already left a review so can’t leave another. After a disappointing visit in January we were invited to return for another meal and I have to say last night did not disappoint. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and all served together. The staff were attentive. Overall a completely different experience and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to return and see how good the food and service can be. We travelled from various parts of the country and our visit was worth the drive to have dinner as a family.

Visited twice over the last month. The cocktails are amazing! Food is excellent, the service is top notch. Azad was brilliant - brilliant service, very welcoming and recommended some great dishes/drinks!

Lovely food and atmosphere, staff were very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that the middle of the pizza is too thin, and all the topping falls off but other than that it is a pretty good pizza.

Had a lovely evening at Pepos. Great atmosphere, lovely food and left very full (made sure to save space for the tiramisu). Was looked after very well by Surkan throughout the evening - was very helpful with recommendations, super friendly, warm and welcoming!

Serkan who was our server was amazing! The food was great! I would say the starters were the best part, the tiramisu was amazing also! Chocolate bread was interesting and delicious. Atmosphere was beautiful 😍

My visit to this restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was a nice surprise that a birthday card was on our table for my friend. Online booking was easy and covered all our needs. Service was friendly with a smile. All members of staff were happy to help. Food was delicious. In the end when we ordered dessert, they put a candle on the cake and served it with happy birthday wishes. Only one thing I would like to mention is that the menu was so difficult to read. Many people were struggling to read including us.

Thank you to Pepos for making my birthday celebration such a successful event. The food - especially and Pizza and Pasta dishes were first class. The service was simply brilliant and the Pepos staff should all be very proud of their service levels. Well done and yes I'll be back again.Arun

Went here for dinner with a friend, the waiter who seated us offered us some water then never came back with it. We waited quite a long time to order and also for the water, when I caught one of the other waiters attention and asked to order, he seemed instantly annoyed and was pretty rude, almost snapping at us “yes what do you want? I’m listening….” I’m afraid to say that the service didn’t improve and we got really bad vibes and very little attention from either of the two waiters. Came at the very end of us eating to ask if the (finished) food was ok. The restaurant looks beautiful and the food was very nice, but I won’t be going back as I cannot stand rudeness - not a good experience sadly.

Very nice place to go with family for Lunch or Dinner

This place blew me away! It’s been at least 3 restaurants previously, and all were sadly failures for a number of reasons. I was a little skeptical to try it, but my word I’m glad I did. It’s hands down the best restaurant Cockfosters. Better because the food is 10/10, the service and staff are amazing, the atmosphere is spot on, they seat people based on types of groups, those with young families, couples, friends, larger groups, all in different areas. This enhances the experience and it’s all the small touches that add up to a big difference. The food is completely faultless, the starters, the pizzas, the desserts, everything was spot on. I really hope they maintain the level because if they do they will become a staple in the area for years to come.

I had a great time at Pepos. The food was lovely. For starters, my friend and I ordered the calamari and prawns, which was delicious! I then ordered a tuna pizza, which was a good size and very tasty! Our server Serkan was fantastic and made our experience here special!

Food was great but the standout was the ambience and decor. My wife if coeliac which they catered for extremely well. Had the pasta this time but their pizza bread was awesome - looking forward to that next time.

Lovely restaurant with great tasting food in a lovely and friendly atmosphere! Staff are very attentive and give good recommendations when you are not sure about what to choose from a great variety of food. Every time I go, it never disappoints!

This is a little gem in Cockfosters. The Staff is so friendly, the food has been amazing. The Carpaccio , steak, fries, bruschetta. At my first visit the staff overheard me wanting spaghetti carbonara which was not on the Menu and they offered to make it for me. Oh boy that did not disappoint. Will def will be back soon. Thank you!

Friendly, Attentive and Efficient all round service with a nice varied menu. Was made to feel very welcome and appreciated by our smiling waiter Josh on our arrival despite not having a booking. Can highly recommend The Arabiatta, A good atmosphere with a Authentic Italian themed decor and helpful staff.

We recently ate here to celebrate a family birthday. The waiting and kitchen staff were attentive, polite and very knowledgeable about their menu. They all went above and beyond to cater for my gluten free needs which was so appreciated. The food is amazing and decent portions are served. Would recommend to anyone looking for great food with a lovely atmosphere.

We were a table of 9 and spent over £400. The service wasn't great. Initially only 5 out of the 9 of us were asked for drinks. We then had to ask for the rest of the drinks order to be taken. We ordered a white wine and were given a red. My husband wasn’t asked for his drink order at all. Starters came out at different intervals. 2 meatballs were very different in appearance and quantity of sauce. Got sent a calamari which we didn’t order but 1 of the 2 meatballs came at least 5 mins after the 1st. Main courses - aubergine parmagiana was burnt and inedible and I was told it would take at least 15 mins to make another so I changed for a different pasta dish which seemed rushed - thin creamy sauce and very al dente (almost undercooked) pasta. We asked for the chicken to come with chips instead of mash. It came with mash and they apologised and said they forgot so the chips were on the side. My nephew doesn’t like mash so therefore ate very little of the chicken as it was sat on the mash. The veal came and was served with nothing else on the plate and we were then asked who ordered a side of mash - it was part of the veal dish. The salad and the aubergine were served at least 5 mins after everything else but I couldn’t eat the aubergine as it was burnt. The 2nd drinks order came out as 3 drinks and then a coke was forgotten and had to be reminded again. We also only ordered 4 puddings - 2 came out together and then 2 sorbets came to the table after the first 2 puddings had been eaten. Why does it take an extra 10 mins to serve a scoop of sorbet?? The food (apart from the aubergine) was tasty but the service generally wasn’t great and for a meal that cost over £400 I would expect better.

Lovely restaurant with great service. The waiting staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was great and so we're the cocktails. I can't wait to return and try something else from the menu.

Wow wow wow! We hosted our wedding lunch there for 60 people and the service and food was incredible. Our original restaurant cancelled at relatively short notice 6 weeks before we wed and Pepos accommodated us and went above and beyond to make the whole occasion so special and run smoothly. Guests can’t stop talking about how yummy the food was and how lovely the staff were. There was nothing too much for them to help with, guests were looked after, dietary requirements accommodated for and food was good sizes and portions. The cheesecake was to die for!! We all plan to go back and make it a regular!

Amazing Neapolitan pizza, a real surprise. Great soft 24 hour dough, tasteful ingredients, wood fired oven. A lot of attention to detail here and not just another high street Italian.

Really really delicious Italian….both the pizza and pasta were amazing. This would be good if you had it in soho but the fact it’s a local neighbourhood spot is even better. Will be coming here a lot from now on

Amazing food, large portions of American Italian goodness. Not traditional Italian but I’m here for that. THE BEST PIZZA IN NORTH LONDON. And that’s proper Neapolitan style. Friendly service and cool interior and bar. A MUST FOR THE AREA

We went to Pepos for lunch today. The woodfired pizzas were great, and the Calamari was outstanding. The staff were friendly and looked after us very well. We'd highly recommend Pepos.

We came here as a group of friends and had a lovely round table. The restaurant itself is very large, so you don’t feel too close to other diners We had the porn star martinis which were excellent. The food was so tasty. Esp the burrata and the breseola. Leave room for the fruit flavoured cheesecake dessert. Wow! Our waiters were just brilliant, anticipating our needs and being very attentive.

Truly Amazing Restaurant. Staff were very welcoming and helpful the service was A1. Food was delicious, and as described by the helpful staff in regards to portion sizes which were generous. Evry plate was cooked well and extremely tasted. Restaurant decor was classy and environment was very cosy. Atmosphere was great nice feeling overall. 10/10 experoence. Planning on returning.

I have dined here a couple of times now and each time the food, service and atmosphere have been excellent. A nice variety of dishes, portion sizes good (not nouvelle cuisine tiny or overwhelmingly huge) and served by friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend.

We always have a wonderful experience here, the Manager is exceptionally friendly and always ensures excellent service and the food is as good as the best Italian restaurants in the West End

Nice place, great music, okay service. But when it comes to the food, I wasn't satisfied. My soup was tasteless, like water with vegetables. The risotto had too much butter and the liver was swimming in butter. My daughter's lamb shank was inedible. Nice manager who removed the dish from the bill. I don't know if this place is worth recommending

Went to Pepos for a family birthday. Service from Cerkan & Helen was fantastic. Really made us feel welcome & special. Food was all freshly prepared and the meals were all excellent. We will be back soon!!

Went for special occasion on a Monday night. Pizzas were great which is surprisiny hard to find good pizza around Barnet/Enfield… and had a nice selection of wine. Can’t complain at all, with great service for the evening.

Our first time dining at this wonderful restaurant, overall a great experience and would definitely recommend. Service and food excellent. All the staff very friendly and professional. Looking forward to our next visit.

On Sunday I ordered a cocktail drink and I found an ant in my drink. I had to ask if they can remake to the drink. The food was nice and tasty.

This is the best Italian restaurant I have been to in the UK. Beautifully stylish and classy restaurant, interesting, fresh and delicious menu, the staff are so friendly and passionate. Absolutely amazing in every way, would highly recommend for dates, group dinners, lunches.

This restaurant is definitely a vibe. DEFINITELY try their margarita pizza and i strongly reccomend a glass of Prosecco champagne. Staff was also pretty friendly.

We went to Pepos for dinner with friends, the place is charming and I can say as an Italian that the food is really good, the flavors and smells are authentic. We ordered octopus, eggplant parmigiana, zucchini flowers, and gorgonzola ravioli as starters, and for the main course, pizza and cacio e pepe pasta. I must thank Chef Claudio for this culinary experience and Josh and his waiters for the meticulous service, attentive to details and always ready to help when needed.

Honestly one of the best Italian restaurant in London, Josh as a manager was very welcome, the chef personally came to say hello. The food was delicious! Definitely will be back soon!

I had lunch with my family . We order few things , everything was really good . Pizza very good , pasta as well . I definitely recommend the leaver in the Marsala wine it was spot on , not over and really soft . Fast and polite service also . I don’t usually go for Italian or pasta dishes when eating out but I’d definitely come back to try other options on the menu. I had seafood pasta with linguine instead of the pasta on the menu, which our waiter recommended. Service was excellent and decor of the restaurant gave a lovely ambiance. Thank you!!

Absolutely great experience. visited on 18th august 2024 with a group of 14, adults and kids. Staff had nice big table all set up. The atmosphere and look of the restaurant is fantastic. Very inviting with a great view of the wood fire pizza oven. Staff were very friendly and accommodating for slight changes to the menu. Cocktails and drinks were very well made and presented. Food was fantastic with a good selection of meat and vegetarian option. Everything was fresh, tasty and well presented. we had a mix of starters and mains and all was fantastic.

The quality of the food is very good, you can feel the Greek / Turkish cuisine and tavern culture in the starters with a nice cocktail starter. The atmosphere is wonderful, it has been newly renovated and offers a beautiful environment. The guys at the service were very responsive and helpful, they easily charged my phone and were diligent to ensure we had a good experience. Compared to beautiful areas by London standards, it is very good in terms of price and quality balance. Instead of paying 100 pounds for two people, you will pay 70 pounds.

my mum and i strolled here one evening and were completely blown away by the food. so tasty and the restaurant was so lively and nice. the menu is both innovative and has classics and with the tables outside, it felt like dining on holiday (although on cockfosters road 😭). 100% taking friends and family back!!!

We love Pepos. We love the owners, the staff, the food. My partner is a chef himself so we love finding places that are amazing to dine at and this is one of them! It’s become one of our new favourites and we’re so looking forward to coming back!

A really high end restaurant but without the high prices!! The decor is great and the food delicious and unusual, generous portion sizes too!! The dishes are brought pretty quickly, lots of attentive staff.

First time here recommend by a family member, I’m Italian myself so I understand Italian cuisine, absolutely amazing! starters, main course and dessert was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, decoration and bar look really nice if your passing by definitely come and see their specialties.

Lovely looking restaurant and nice atmosphere - good music, decor and lighting, sort of a holiday vibe. Service was pretty good too although did have to call the waiter over several times - would be nice if they came over to check occasionally but generally was fine. What was a bit disappointing was the food - The calamari wasn't particularly fresh tasting, the burrata was just a ball of mozzarella and didn't have the creamy unctuousness you want and they didn't have the stuffed courgette flowers as detailed on the menu. Also the beef ragu lacked depth and I've had better at home/friends houses. On a more positive note the pizzas were very, very good.

Very nice place to eat, the food was overall lovely, I can honestly say the carbonara was the best I’ve ever had, the octopus was cooked perfectly, the pizza was really nice and fluffy… the service was ok, was a bit slow as in we had to ask for certain things twice as the waiters would forget, but I guess it can happen… the restaurant was also a tad too dark I guess they’re trying to create an ambiance… could also be preference I guess, but yeah overall decent 😊

We been for dinner on fatherday table for 4 , we order drink cocktail that arrive with chopped glass on and waiter dropped a bit drink on table, I ask for replacemet where i was waiting other 20min , if i wouldn't ask again i assuming they forgot about my proseco , also we order desert ( sorbet( ice-cream) & panacota that we been wait over 30min for it, regarding price a bit expensive for the quality they have and service charge that they charge !!

I recently dined at Pepos Italian Restaurant, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with so many amazing options on the menu, it was hard to choose! My pepos pizza was so delicious and the portion sizes were perfectly big! Emin, our waiter/host, made our visit unforgettable. He was not only brilliant at his job but also brought a fun and lively energy to the table.
