This restaurant is definitely a vibe. DEFINITELY try their margarita pizza and i strongly reccomend a glass of Prosecco champagne. Staff was also pretty friendly.

Honestly one of the best Italian restaurant in London, Josh as a manager was very welcome, the chef personally came to say hello. The food was delicious! Definitely will be back soon!

We went to Pepos for dinner with friends, the place is charming and I can say as an Italian that the food is really good, the flavors and smells are authentic. We ordered octopus, eggplant parmigiana, zucchini flowers, and gorgonzola ravioli as starters, and for the main course, pizza and cacio e pepe pasta. I must thank Chef Claudio for this culinary experience and Josh and his waiters for the meticulous service, attentive to details and always ready to help when needed.

I had lunch with my family . We order few things , everything was really good . Pizza very good , pasta as well . I definitely recommend the leaver in the Marsala wine it was spot on , not over and really soft . Fast and polite service also . We had a lovely evening at Pepos. The food was delicious, full of flavour and large portions. I don’t usually go for Italian or pasta dishes when eating out but I’d definitely come back to try other options on the menu. I had seafood pasta with linguine instead of the pasta on the menu, which our waiter recommended. Service was excellent and decor of the restaurant gave a lovely ambiance. Thank you!!

Absolutely great experience. visited on 18th august 2024 with a group of 14, adults and kids. Staff had nice big table all set up. The atmosphere and look of the restaurant is fantastic. Very inviting with a great view of the wood fire pizza oven. Staff were very friendly and accommodating for slight changes to the menu. Cocktails and drinks were very well made and presented. Food was fantastic with a good selection of meat and vegetarian option. Everything was fresh, tasty and well presented. we had a mix of starters and mains and all was fantastic.

The quality of the food is very good, you can feel the Greek / Turkish cuisine and tavern culture in the starters with a nice cocktail starter. The atmosphere is wonderful, it has been newly renovated and offers a beautiful environment. The guys at the service were very responsive and helpful, they easily charged my phone and were diligent to ensure we had a good experience. Compared to beautiful areas by London standards, it is very good in terms of price and quality balance. Instead of paying 100 pounds for two people, you will pay 70 pounds.

my mum and i strolled here one evening and were completely blown away by the food. so tasty and the restaurant was so lively and nice. the menu is both innovative and has classics and with the tables outside, it felt like dining on holiday (although on cockfosters road 😭). 100% taking friends and family back!!!

We love Pepos. We love the owners, the staff, the food. My partner is a chef himself so we love finding places that are amazing to dine at and this is one of them! It’s become one of our new favourites and we’re so looking forward to coming back!

A really high end restaurant but without the high prices!! The decor is great and the food delicious and unusual, generous portion sizes too!! The dishes are brought pretty quickly, lots of attentive staff.

First time here recommend by a family member, I’m Italian myself so I understand Italian cuisine, absolutely amazing! starters, main course and dessert was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, decoration and bar look really nice if your passing by definitely come and see their specialties.

Lovely looking restaurant and nice atmosphere - good music, decor and lighting, sort of a holiday vibe. Service was pretty good too although did have to call the waiter over several times - would be nice if they came over to check occasionally but generally was fine. What was a bit disappointing was the food - The calamari wasn't particularly fresh tasting, the burrata was just a ball of mozzarella and didn't have the creamy unctuousness you want and they didn't have the stuffed courgette flowers as detailed on the menu. Also the beef ragu lacked depth and I've had better at home/friends houses. On a more positive note the pizzas were very, very good.

Very nice place to eat, the food was overall lovely, I can honestly say the carbonara was the best I’ve ever had, the octopus was cooked perfectly, the pizza was really nice and fluffy… the service was ok, was a bit slow as in we had to ask for certain things twice as the waiters would forget, but I guess it can happen… the restaurant was also a tad too dark I guess they’re trying to create an ambiance… could also be preference I guess, but yeah overall decent 😊

We been for dinner on fatherday table for 4 , we order drink cocktail that arrive with chopped glass on and waiter dropped a bit drink on table, I ask for replacemet where i was waiting other 20min , if i wouldn't ask again i assuming they forgot about my proseco , also we order desert ( sorbet( ice-cream) & panacota that we been wait over 30min for it, regarding price a bit expensive for the quality they have and service charge that they charge !!

I recently dined at Pepos Italian Restaurant, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with so many amazing options on the menu, it was hard to choose! My pepos pizza was so delicious and the portion sizes were perfectly big! Really enjoyed our meal. All the food was great. Starters were a decent size which was nice to see. Waiting staff were friendly, attentive and were patient and accommodating of the picky vegetarians in our group.

Although the internal decor is spot on, unfortunately the food is not great and the plates are heavily chipped. However the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

Beautiful restaurant, such a lovely ambience and the staff are wonderful and welcoming. Super informative, they have an updated menu as of three days ago. Authentic Italian cuisine and the prices are fair for the quality of food. The music is really nice too. They gave us free home-made Italian ice cream with caramel sauce and we watched the cook make and roll pasta from scratch. I can only imagine how beautiful it looks at night with the backlit accents!😍They have so many gluten free options, so inclusive.

Was our first time trying pepos and we had a fabulous time. Emin was very attentive and knew the menu well. Was truely service with class. Looking around everyone working genuinely looked happy to be there which isn’t always the case in hospitality. The food was incredible, recommend the octopus (some of the best I’ve had in the uk) and the tiramisu was amazing. If your thinking about making the trip I would say it’s worth it

We went there today to celebrate my sister's wedding with a meal. So what can I say, we were a small group of 15 people including two children, my sister found this restaurant at the last minute and what can I say just wow. We had a set menu with starters and then a main to decide on. Drinks excluded. Then the amazing Roman chef introduced himself and made us feel welcome (we were special customers as 95% of us only ate halal meat and he got us the meat specifically so that we wouldn't have problems choosing. We had starters of many types including pizza, fried courgettes, tricolor salad etc. very good portions in the end we had homemade ice cream ❤️ all delicious very good light pizza. I can only say everything was wonderful. all the staff were very courteous and our Bulgarian waiter (sorry I don't remember her name) super good, super kind and impeccably helpful. The blonde lady with the tail who arrived at the end around 5pm was super kind (I had to breastfeed my baby and she found me a comfortable place where I could breastfeed without prying eyes, thank you). a thousand. I was only sorry not to have been able to say goodbye to the waiter and the lady in the jacket who welcomed us and served us during the service. Thank you very much for your impeccable service. Especially to the Bulgarian boy who looked after us through and through. I have worked in many well-known restaurants both in the kitchen and in the dining room, I am in the profession so I can give you a review that is worthy of your service and your very, very good food and I wanted to let you know. I highly recommend this place as they make families with children feel welcomed and above all welcome. Very nice clean environment and excellent service. Very good alcohol free cocktails. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this gem of an Italian restaurant in North London, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and friendliness from the staff, making me feel right at home. Let me tell you about the food – it was simply phenomenal! The pizza, the olive bread, and the parmigiana were all delicious, truly a taste of Italy right here in London. What really impressed me was how clean the restaurant was and how quick the service was, without sacrificing any quality. It's clear that they take pride in what they do and in providing an exceptional dining experience for their guests. Needless to say, I'll definitely be returning! If you're in the mood for some authentic Italian cuisine served with a smile, this is the place to go.

I really had high hopes for this place but unfortunately it was very disappointing steak was returned twice as it was not medium rare even after them recooking it twice by which time the meat was very poor, they did remove from bill though . I knew the prices beforehand and was willing to pay but unfortunately for £49 ribeye I expected something very very tasty and I can honestly say I’ve had better in the pub for half the price also the quality of the salumi starter was poor If you’re gonna do Italian restaurant then expect Italian clients that expect quality Italian food not cheap quality salamis , I will definitely not be back in a rush However the staff wine and the deserts were outstanding and that’s why I will give 3 stars and not 1

Four of us had an exceptional meal at Pepos yesterday evening. We were given an excellent table by the window and our order was taken quickly and efficiently. The food was delicious and hot and was served quickly in a very caring and attentive way. The Italian wine made it even better and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely return again soon

New restaurant in cockfosters, nice atmosphere. We ordered the pizzas, but compared to other places they were lacking. Not bad flavour wise, but pretty basic. There was more crust than actual pizza toppings and was doughey. Not worth the high prices for what was given. High service charge was added to the bill automatically.

I took family who were visiting to this brilliant new restaurant in Cockfosters on a Sunday afternoon and they were all raving about how amazing the whole experience was. The decor and feel of the place is one of a relaxed classy vibe, with beautiful decor and a lovely ambience. The food was absolutely incredible, quite possibly the best Pizza in North London, the desserts (especially the cheesecake and Tiramishu) are the best I've had at any restaurant in years, even the wine suggestions were so good that some of our party had to ask the waiter the name of the wine so they knew to order it again next time. Lastly the attentiveness of the staff was nothing short of exceptional. I'd like to give a special mention to Natalya and to Dosh for making all of us feel so welcome and so well looked after during our visit - this really was a lovely personal touch. If you're looking for a brilliant Italian restaurant in North London, look no further than Pepos. 5 Stars

Excellent Italian food. As a four we ordered spaghetti alle vongole, sea bass, risotto and pizza. I tried everything and they all tasted delicious.

Average Italian cuisine and taste have been once and won't go back , and it could be a lot better for the prices charged . I'll stick to my other local favourites.

Never received our dinner for over an hour. Offered Olives and bread. Had to ask for bread (charges us for olive!) Then got offered complimentary desserts. They put a service charged of £20 but let it go as we have free desserts. They had no tia Maria or raspberry vodka. Over priced food. Had chicken with 4 small roasties with no veg and it was £30. Very would have cost another £6. Bill arrived and added still water which we never had. Tiramsu was amazing and massive. Very nice. Music good but very loud so if you want a good chin wag not the place. Can't say I would go again.

As you enter, you are greeted with personal conversation. It was Friday at half 6. I first noticed a jazzy type of set up with the low round tables and cushion chairs by the bar with low light lamps. We were taken to a two seat table with comfortable chairs and low lighting. Lovely decor. High attention to detail for example, cup was refilled by waiter everytime it ran low, cutlery was brought in a dish. Change of napkins each round and fast, polite service. Pizzas remind me of a good evening pizza from Italy. Very fluffy dough. Pasta was a hearty portion. You get good value for money at this restaurant.

Me & my partner went here for some late lunch, we have been on the search for a authentic nice Italian restaurant in our area for a really long time and I am so pleased we have now found one on our doorstep! This place was absolutely incredible and we were very happy with the price, those leaving bad reviews we simply cannot understand how anyone can come here and be disappointed especially if you know your Italian food! Can’t wait to come back and I only just left. The food was unbelievably tasty with a really nice waiter!

I have been excited about going to this new Italian in Cockfosters for a while now. The fit out is STUNNING - think central London standard. Excellent art work (very tasteful black and white photos of Italy in the 50s/60s) and satisfying lighting. The music was super cool - think high quality Ibiza-vibe in mid June. To complement this, the service was excellent. We had squid and bruschetta to start. The squid in particular was sensational - very light and airy, no hint of chewy. For the main course we had Ragu pasta. Unfortunately the pasta was disappointing. Despite asking for extra garlic, the sauce was fairly bland and slightly watery. To make up for it however, we were given a lovely fruit platter. Overall it was too nice an experience not to go back, but we didn’t leave raving about the food. #cockfosters #italian #food

Pretentious & overpriced. Smell of Fish gone off!! Avoid at all costs if you are Vegetarian or Vegan. Worst Pizza ever!! Burnt crust & uncooked, soggy middle!! No vegetarian toppings available!! Waiter came to ask about the food? When we told him..he said Pizzas are cooked in a Traditional Italian Oven..just excuses!! Fritters..all oily..Pasta..they just don’t have a clue!! Can’t even make a basic Arrabbiata!

Fantastic food, best pizza I've had in London! The dough is something else. Great starters, well curated menu, fresh wholesome ingredients which really shine throughout the dishes. Great services, everything done to a really high standard from the decor to the tables and lighting to the toilets. Really a wonderful Italian restaurant with great food and a wonderful warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Accidentally stumbled upon Pepos and have been back several times for lunch with our 2 year old. Food has been excellent every time, especially the pizzas. Best pizza we've had around here by a long shot. They don't have a children's menu but can make a tomato pasta which is delicious, but would be handy if they could make a smaller pizza for children (mostly so we don't have to share ours 😂). Highly recommend, and beautiful decor too.

The place is really nicely decorated , and spacious. The staff were really respectful and welcoming , we were treated very nice. I ordered a pizza and it tasted so good! As a desert I got the tiramisu and I was not disappointed, one of the best tiramisus I’ve ever tasted. This place is ranked one of the best Italian I’ve tried in London.

Everything from the starters down to the deserts was absolutely amazing. The waiters were very friendly and provided excellent service. The quality of every meal was exceptional, the best Italian I’ve had so far. I will definitely be coming back soon!

I’ve visited Pepos on a busy Saturday night, and the service was very quick. I can definitely say that they make the best pizza in London ( and this comment comes a Neapolitan girl) My friend Ordered t bone steak, and it was cooked to perfection. Tiramisu and cheesecake were very tasty too! Will definitely come back!

Service is faultless. Ambience Fabulous. It is casual, but poshy, daty & friendly. We were meeting for a family 'pow wow'. Very sensitive issues. The ambience was intimate and our evening was great. Service was impeccable, I was very impressed. Bit disappointed they didn’t have have a number of dishes that I wanted though, and food looked great but a bit on the salty side. Would have given it 6 stars if the food was up to scratch based on the service alone, really lovely and friendly waiting staff, everyone was very welcoming.

Definitely recommending this restaurant. Firstly the ambiance is quite fresh and unique. The deco stands high, so the food. Their Parmigiana is the best I ever had, fresh and full of flavours, just as in Italy. The pizza was delicious, just as it should be, truly enjoyed by all of us, and Tiramisu was divine. Well done to the Team.

Recently went to Peppos, good decor and waiting staff very helpful. Portion sizes very small and very expensive! Also as a vegetarian, missed the V indication on the menu. In this day and age this is a MUST!

So tried it out with my elderly mum at lunchtime. On the positive, the waiters were attentive. Place was clean and decor good. Pizza was good, base could have been a bit crustier. On the downsize, expensive pasta, portions small. Ravioli was £16 for 5-6 pieces. Olives an outrageous £4.50. Italian restaurants in town half the price or free. Bread one inch by six block dumped in a basket. At least they didn't charge for that. Though I noticed there is a costed option on the menu. Ice cream could have been a more generous scoop, no wafer. Menu didn't identify what is vegetarian or vegan. Luckily I asked, as homemade ragu contained bacon in. Music nice. When I go past few people seem to be in a restaurant on weekday lunchtimes. The place doesn't seem to know if it wants to be an up market eatery or not. Suggest you have a lunchtime menu and add more vegetarian options With competition in Cokfosters as is will be tough Not in a rush to go back. during lunchtime. Perhaps an evening.

Potentially they may be good at Pizza / pasta but they have no idea how to serve a steak, we attended last night and ordered 4 steaks, they took 40minutes to come out, and when they finally arrived it was presented as if I was eating at my grandmother's house, on a bed of Chips on a colourful plate, we ordered long stem brocceli, this way the smallest portion I have ever seen and completely flavourless, all 4 steaks where a different size and pushed 50% a side due to the fat on it, Iv been to Skewed and most restaurants in cockfosters and unless they get up to that kind of level, they may not be there very long, they have to present better food, honest opinion, hopefully things improve

Simply the best Italian restaurant in North London, food is excellent, decor and atmosphere fantastic, service very friendly and professional, prices just right for the high standard of the quality. I would recommend, and for sure we will go again.

The handmade pasta was excellent. The service was perfect and the restaurant is newly opened so the decor and finish was all brand new. Would visit again! The starter portions are more small plate sized than what you'd get in a more traditional Italian. The pasta main course was well portioned though!

Very nice Italian with Italian service and Italian food with italian atmosphere. If you looking to spend and dine they will look after you and give you plenty of drinks and food to show you appreciation and respect. If you like to have your champagne expensive and if you want to have your authentic italian food and authentic italian services then they are for you.

Lovely looking restaurant, the chairs are a little uncomfortable/restrictive due to the curve of the arm. Great welcome. Unfortunately the food does not live up to the price/decor. Bruschetta was particularly unimpressive... the tomatoes did not taste like top quality tomatoes and there was no seasoning. The Italians never get this wrong ... Risotto was nice but salty Other main and dishes were enjoyable but not packed with flavour . Olive oil was ok but not top tier. I would return as I live locally and it is convenient but the pricing is too high for what is served. I hope that they can tweak to get this right.

I was utterly disappointed. Cocktails didn’t taste like cocktails, more like chemicals, the food service was very slow. Portions were small and my clam pasta came out with grit in the clams and the pasta was like plastic. On the upside our waiter was lovely, however I wouldn’t recommend Pepos. Our night out was ruined 😞

Absolutely devastated at the experience we had in this restaurant. I ordered ravioli and could not believe the minute amount: 5 pieces of very mediocre ravioli for £15.99! This restaurant is a rip off. Its acceptable for people with money but no sense or experience of culinary expertise. Will never visit it again

We went for dinner and drinks and my god, what an amazing restaurant. It was a Friday night so it was busy but the staff were so on it and service didn’t suffer because of it which was AMAZING. The food was 11/10 and so where the cocktails. Overall such a lovely restaurant and vibe I cannot wait to go back :)

Great addition to the local area, we were looking forward to trying Pepos and it did not disappoint. Very attentive/friendly service, beautiful decor and good ambience. I had the Girasoli (doesn’t photograph well, but it was lovely) and my husband had the veal, both dishes were delicious. Pizza had a good crust and flavour and we loved the choice of wine.
