Peckish Cafe - Breakfast & Coffee in Enfield

Breakfast was overcooked and not very hot Eggs had no yolk,mushrooms were cold, bacon so overdone it was crispy and the toast hadn't even been toasted at all Never eating in that hole ever again

Place has got rats I was there with the family and saw a rat the when told the lady that was serving was rude at that point we left disgusting and disrespectful oh and before I forget the 2 seperate hairs found in the food didn’t help Avoid like the plague

Me and my mum went to this cafe local to me today to have some gozleme (Turkish pastry) which was decent as always, but as it was pretty warm we fancied an iced latte so we thought we’d order two for us. I paid £7.40 and I’m sad to say the iced latte was horrible. We decided to drink some of it in order to not disrespect as we usually like their gozleme, but actually we forced ourselves because it tasted so bad. I usually drink soya milk but because there was none left I had to have cows milk and later on it upset my stomach. I think the iced latte was just instant coffee, milk and ice. Later on, I came home and prepared a much better frothy iced latte (looked better and tasted much better.) So if you’re going here I advise you don’t order iced latte otherwise you would be unfortunately disappointed. No offence but the iced latte on the menu really needs to be improved on.

The best breakfasts at the very best prices! Anybody passing through the neighbourhood should definitely give it a go, you will not regret it!

Great coffee and food clean tidy a lovely place to relax. Visited 3rd of July 2023, I haven't been here for a while but the food is still great had an all day breakfast nice and hot and fresh and a lovely cup of tea 🍵 this place as been serving good food and drinks for many year's now would definitely recommend 👌

Lovely little cafe with all the breakfast and lunch options you could ask for, as well as freshly made Turkish bread that looked amazing! The Eggs Benedict I ordered was a great price and portion, and served fresh, hot and delicious. The staff are very friendly and polite too! I was passing through the area and would definitely come here again if I’m around.

I got a peri classic from here, it was well seasoned, the chicken was cooked just right! It weren’t dry at all, and that’s exactly what I was after. I will definitely be back !

Lovely food. Ordered on Uber eats. Got the American breakfast. Added halloumi cheese. The pancakes were so fluffy and light. The bacon was perfect for me. I would defo prefer again.

I have been in dire need for a full English breakfast made in a cafe and this morning I wasn't disappointed, it was absolutely perfect, it was fresh, full of flavour and the oreo shake... That oreo shake, superb, can't wait to order from these wonderful people again. Not to mention that it was above all clean and well packed, they even put a smiley face on the bag. Five star, definitely.

A great range of food at great prices. Peckish offers a unique relaxed experience with brilliant customer service.

Portions are a little on the small side, nice food well presented and nice ambience with comfy chairs. The smoked salmon was also cooked and shredded which whilst not unpleasant was not what I was expecting. Good Turkish tea too. Card payment accepted which is a good point as well.

Popular local cafe. Has seating so good for relaxing with friends over coffee.

I just had a American Breakfast. Pancakes, sausage, fried eggs, topped with maple syrup. Made by the cafe owner. It has to be the best I've had in the UK. I didn't expect them to impress me the way the have.

Great service in the establishment, I wouldn’t call it a traditional cafe as it delivers more than that. An example of great service was delivered, my pet hate is beans that are cold in the centre . I always ask for the beans to be extra hot . The lady at the counter said they are hot , I said I don’t like beans cold in the centre. I guess she made my decision for me and said nothing . First rule give what the customer asks for not want you want. Anyway after being given cold beans I asked for them to be warmed for a further 2 minutes in the microwave. Beans blasted , me happy and then I could enjoy my breakfast . Thank you for putting something right and I understand why mistakes are sometimes made . By the way the rest of the food was cooked to perfection and I mean perfection .

Best Eggs Royale for miles - delicious food, economically priced and served in a very comfortable environment. Definitely a par above your average greasy spoon.

More than a bit frustrating that a cafe, albeit one with a Turkish theme, can’t cook something as simple as Eggs Royale. First time I ordered it, the muffin wasn’t toasted and the hollandaise sauce was awful. Second time, the eggs weren’t cooked properly, and the muffin again wasn’t toasted. Third time, specifically asking for the for the eggs to be cooked fully and to have the muffin toasted, it arrived with fried eggs and raw spinach. Even if I’d asked for Eggs Florentine, the spinach should be cooked. It’s a lot of small things but it’s added up to just, quite literally, a bad taste in my mouth. There won’t be a fourth time.

Very good place to eat. Amazing value for quality food. The staff is pleasant and the waiting for the order is unbelievably short.

This cafe was origionally Fig Garden and in my opinion a lot better managed then. There was a fantastic young man at the front whereas they have a useless girl now. Forgets things off the order, serves patrons out of order and forgets others. Avoid. We certainly won’t be coming back.

Coffee pros, a real cut above most coffee shops in Edmonton! The Menu boosts a fantastic range of dishes. Gave the "Grand Med" a go was definitely worth it. Very friendly staff, with reasonable prices considering the different dishes being offered. Location is very convenient , and love the idea of a fig based theme. A very unique Cafe!
