Ordered a takeaway I have to say probably the best Pepes I've tried I usually order from the soho road branch but I live further so I tried the West Brom one the food arrived hot. It hit the spot only thing I would say is it wasn't saucy enough for me compared to the soho road branch but it was well cooked only complaint I have is the sauces leaked so couldn't enjoy it properly however it was packed separately so didn't ruin the main food did taste the garlic mayo as I use to love it but feel like the recipe has changed but apart from that food was amazing!

Due to me being with a big group of friends I was told I couldn’t be served because some of them were apparently banned, we aren’t even locals that come to pepes often, we were in West Bromwich and was hungry so decided to go to Pepes and was rudely told by the old white fat lady that we couldn’t order because we seemed a threat to other customers. How? Because we’re in a big group? No idea.

Awful experience, lack of professionalism from 3 staff members in particular 2 of the ladies one with glasses one with head scarf, One dark male. Called regarding an issue with the order was cut off as I was talking on the phone to discuss the mistake made from her. Very rude and disrespectful. lady Got my order wrong blamed it on me then had the audacity to argue back Infront of customers. One with no concern in particular with the glasses, short Asian girl mouthing off. Had nothing to do with her as she did not answer the call neither was there when taking the order. Also had the cheek to say I know people like you! What's that supposed to mean..I had a BBQ sizzler had no BBQ in it whatsoever. When instead of putting a burrito 🌯 I had a random soggy naan with a chicken fillet. We are regulars at pepes generally and always go for the same option to rectify the issue was a nightmare and war zone and my BBQ sizzler wasn't even mentioned yet. Definitely would never come back again if these people are running the show. You need more experience and professional staff on board. The attitude needs to drop with the staff on board specially on the 28th of June. Place is a joke we pay for our food. Last thing we need is a horrible experience which I encountered today.

When i ordered i did not change the delivery address i noticed straight away called the restaurant to be told there was nothing they could do an to cancel my order costing me 32 pound which i was not about to do i left the address where i was and the driver was told where i was at the new address and still chose to take it to that address where i had mistakenly ordered to disgusting that such a simple issue could not be resolved simply i wont be using just eat again disgraceful !

Food just ain’t the same from there anymore

Very small portions compared to other pepes, considering how expensive the food is feels as if they cheat you out of your meal. However the food tastes and quality is one of the best out of other pepes around the area.

I went to eat to break my fast and the staff treated me very well and the shop was really busy and still managed to give my food on time. The food was well cooked and had good flavour. The manager (Jessica) was very friendly and polite towards me and my wife . Pepes West Brom is a 10/10

Jessica was lovely lady who served us pepe’s food was delicious warm loved and enjoyed a lot. The owner Mohammed was an amazing caring person who looked after us so well. I always recommend this pepe’s westbromich.

I have been ordering and collecting from Pepes for over a year now and they have never let me down with the quality of the food. When I arrive to collect my food the staff always friendly and welcoming, then when I get home the food always tastes great!

Having tried many many pepe’s this one has to be the odd one out. Generally speaking i will allow minor issues but this is my second visit to this particular branch. Its one of the only branches thats stingy with the sauces and only gives 1 with a meal where others give 2. Its also the only branch who will stop you from eating inside if you want a can. Its disappointing given all the other branches are good. The food is decent but not to the standard im used to from other pepes. Over all i think its a lesson learned and probably (sadly) a branch to avoid. I do hope management resolve these issues and bring this store to the level of other stores.

Vile customer service. Arrived 18/11/23 at 15:26. I asked for a chicken box meal but replace the 1/4 chicken for stripe as I don't eat chicken on the bone. I was willing to pay the additional for 3 tender strips but they refused saying I have to take the 1/4 chicken and the strips as its a rule from pepes. I told them they can eat the chicken if its a must but I want strips, they didn't agree and I told me I have to take the 1/4 chicken and pull it off the bone myself. Will definitely not be coming back as they can't accommodate. Will stick to the other pepes in Birmingham who always accommodate it. Food wasn't the best either. Sorry pepes

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Manager arguing with employees and apparently couldn't changed my messed up order as it was a "new rule". I asked for a plain chicken burger and they gave me lettuce and mayo but they couldnt do anything because the absolute imbecile of a worker apparently didnt hear me. Food was cold, undercooked and just disgraceful. Please get better workers and better staff because your shop is just downright disgraceful and the manager and workers are absolute planks.

We ordered and asked for a plain burger with nothing on and when we got it, it had mayo and salad on it. I asked for 1 wrap but they misheard me and gave me a whole wrap meal which I did not ask for. Also the chips that came with the meal was cold.

Went to this branch of Pepe’s yesterday while passing through on the motorway. Never been to West Brom before but so glad we stopped for Pepe’s here. We were all starving and were served by smiley and friendly staff who were eager to please. The store manager, Jessica made sure we were well looked after and made sure the food was piping hot and delicious! All the staff members were courteous and well mannered. A big shout out to Raman, Rashad, Annie and Param too! Thank you all, especially Jessica for a pleasant journey break! See you next time!

This place is a joke. The tall asian guy who works at the back took my order then little asian girl with glasses asked me for my order again. I told her that guy already took my order she goes NO you have to order here then why the HELL did he take my order. The little asian with glasses took my order told me waiting time 10 minutes. I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my food they won't even busy they all chatting away at the back. The big girl with fair skin don't know her name or her position in that shop she is really moody and gives customers evil looks if she doesnt want to be there then she should leave the job. She's got attitude problems. Perhaps the manager/owner should open his eyes and look at the reviews see what customers been saying about that place. Everyone think twice before you put your foot inside that shop. I am telling you from my experience. I will never go back AGAIN!!

I would definitely not recommend Pepe’s in Westbromwich. I placed an order on Uber eats. I ordered the food at 7:10 pm. By the time the food arrived to my house it was almost 8:30 pm. I rang the store continuously and they just said the driver is 15 - 20 minutes away, that’s the same response they kept giving me !!! When my food arrived I was missing some sauces and the food was not even nice. The food was too cold, and I did not enjoy it at all. The delivery did not even arrive on time, would stay far away from this place!!! 😡

Served cold chicken which seemed to have barley touched the grill! The chips were hotter than the chicken. The person grilling the chicken responded to my cold chicken problem with ‘what can I do’ The manger (with blue eyes) is lovely she refunded us and apologised.

The chicken and bread were dry. Tiny bit of peri salt on the chips. I usually love pepes but this franchise is not good. I will stick to Dudley branch in the future.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF RESPECT, I’m very disappointed, every time we walk into the shop something changed in the management, we went 3 times and rice was out of stock apparently, and we went for the last time today which I will never go back ever, they said we only accept cash, they have accepted card for years, how are they going to gain more customers if they are going to treat customers like that and change the rules and regulation no customers will come. On the other hand, the manager used to be so friendly, all of a sudden she has changed, so much, she’s very rude, whenever I ask for extra sauce, she does give it but with a terrible look on the face as if she doesn’t want to give it away, all the staff that work there when we work, she always interferes and says no do this and no do that. Peep’s in West Bromwich is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food quality and the service of every stuffs are amazing. It’s my regular place to eat and take way.

This restaurant has left the best impressions about customer service, food and ambiance. Manager Jessica is a hospitable host, Chef Osman makes delicious dishes and food served in presentable way. I enjoyed my food, liked customer service and will recommend to everyone!

Terrible service from West Brom Branch!! Very rude staff and management, i have ordered food they never delivered it and claimed to have delivered the food. It was large order, completely ripped me off my money nor any food arrived to us. They would not accept any responsibility and therefore just too my money for nothing! Their driver didn't even bother confirm address nor name properly and just dropped food at some random house! Completely unacceptable service and will avoid at all costs! West brom branch puts pepes to shame, their service is not on par with the rest, avoid west brom branch, they are void of responsibility and just rude!

the food was freezing cold!! called pepes (west brom) to let them know i’ve received my food freezing cold, instead of apologising the girl was busy defending herself that the food left the place warm. ordered food for my lunch break, didn’t arrive on time even though they use their own drivers. tasca arrived dry. chicken was soooo dry it was obvious it wasn’t fresh. cheese falling off didn’t even melt because food was cold. and the girl sat there saying she took it of the grill herself. if the food was taken off the grill hot atleast the cheese would’ve melted then got cold. the tasca bread is rock hard. very disappointed. do NOT order from this pepes.
