RUDE. Items missing from my order and the restaurant kept hanging up on me. The second time they did answer they asked me ‘what do I want’ VILE.

The delivery guy was taking my food with him after I gave him the code, after I said can you please give my food back, then he laughed away and gave me my food. I would like to report the delivery driver and that’s totally unprofessional and had no manners.

There was no costumers in the shop and the tables were all dirty the prices are so expensive they charge 50p for a little bit of peri peri salt it’s mad I’m never going there again

As a well wisher I have a suggestion to please get the management right..number of staff is less and they don't know how to make the food rightly. Ordered chicken and rice, came with no flavour. Worst experience ever at this branch.

I have seen that they are packing food on floor. The scaf girl at counter shouted at driver picking food . Showing arrogance and attitude. Feel very bad to me seeing him crying very bad atmosphere there. Disrespect for driver who deliver us.

This a horrible place.. I wanted to use the toilet and they said that is out of order, but as I was waiting they let somebody use it. I don’t want to make this a race matter but the person they let in was a muslim person and I am not!!!

MY ORDER NEVER ARRIVED! The driver called and then hung up before I could speak! I want my money back asap and I will never order from here again.

Staff are rude and most of them don’t speak fluent English. Manager was scared to deal with complaint and hid behind his staff. Terrible service. Highly suggest you visit Popeyes, roosters or Lakers in Romford instead.

Chicken burger is actually a steak burger and they sell it for £5 on Uber. Ridiculous it’s not even a fillet burger. Your better off going McDonald’s and buying the exact same burger for a £1

Very bad service!!! Had an orders and the drink was missing, when called the restaurant they blamed the driver!!! So it’s the restaurant manager should be responsible for the driver and the orders to get to the customers as it it should be, very disappointing!!!!

I should have trusted my gut and gone to McDonald's, but my craving for flame-grilled chicken led me to this. The order was delayed, and the food tasted awful. There was no flavor at all.

Charge for peri fries 30p but forget to give me peri fries and by the time I was far away and didn’t bother to go back. Fries were cold and did chicken with twin chicken was not fried /cooked, I called store and they said oh sorry next time this will not happen. I will never go back again.

Wings are hit or miss. Rice box is always great especially with garlic mayo however, way too overpriced

I suggest you stop taking orders if you are unable to cope with the demand of customers. If it’s going to take so long please inform me and give me the option to cancel my order or collect in store to speed things up

My order took 4 hours long to arrive and it didn’t arrive to me I did not receive my food I would like a refund due to the inconvenience of me not even receiving my money or a notification about my food because the order time changed 5-6 different times and ended up taking 4 hours

The delivery time was taking so long and the food arrived cold and I was missing my drinks sauces and my meals were small when I ordered large

the issue with the delivery was the driver had the order in a old Lidl shopping bag , which could have meant the food became cold. I am bit confused on how the restaurant allowed the driver to put this in a shopping bag and not a food bag with a semi non tight container in the bike. I had to microwave the food. I have the video downloaded if you need it

Food was very late, apparently due to offer they were crazy busy so they didn't bother what they sending to their customers,missing chips portion from my meal. Very disappointed

I have recently ordered from Pepe's in Romford through Just Eat and found it to be quite disappointing. The chips arrived cold and with minimal sprinkling of the peri salt that I had ordered. They were very bland in taste and flavorless, which is quite upsetting since I actually did expect that perky flavor from the word 'peri'. Adding insult to injury, the portioning was immensely small-hardly enough for a meal. Making it worse was the fact that everything was so dry: chips included with the rest of the order. Overall, the meal was just underwhelming and not up to the standard I was hoping for.

I do actually love this place, been visiting since it opened an Im addicted to the spicy foods, love there tasca meal deal, only the salad could be improved, olives fine cucumber an lettuce could be a little fresher, flavour, other than that I visit regularly 🙂

The food arrived stone cold, the quesadilla was not toasted/grilled, it was basically a very flat open wrap (very little filling and not sealed), the cheese was not melted at all. My my sisters fajita wrap was no better.

Disgusting! Place is very dirty with insects could not finish my meal! If the staff cannot be bothered to keep the seating area for the public clean and swarming with insects I dread to think how dirty the food preparation is. I am revolted and waste of my money!

Went to eat in. Got the order wrong. Ordered a hot half chicken and it was bland and dry. AC was only put on when asked on a hot summer day. Toilet had no tissue or handwash- disgusting! There is no warning on the door so will leave people caught out. Not hygienic to leave customers in that position!!

can't go wrong with pepes. good flavours on the chicken, chips hot and crispy, garlic mayo is top tier. wraps filled well, saucy and full of flavour.

My food was late and it was all cold when it finally arrived. I called the restaurant and they offered no reasonable explanation for this.

Always order from here, but we are very disappointed. chicken was very dry and looked over cooked and this time no Mayonnaise and sauce was delivered. should of complained, but hungry kids and asking them to wait, would not go down well.

One of the best food in that area.

Stopped by this cafe for a solo lunch and was thoroughly impressed! The chicken nachos were crispy and flavorful, the chicken XL was juicy and massive, and the BBQ sizzler was smokey and tender. Great value for price and friendly service and the cozy atmosphere made for a wonderful solo dining experience. 5 stars!

I really like their ambience and food. The staff is very cooperative. It's a good place for having brunch with your friends and family.

I ordered peri peri chips and there was hardly any peri peri salt on the chips

They food there was very bad and the sauce was not good. The mild sauce was very thin as if water with no taste. Peri peri mayo tasted really sour unlike the original one. I want the pepes headquarter to come and try the food out themselve.

My first time experience at pepes and I really wanted to know what the hype was; I have to say 10/10 for clean atmosphere and fresh hot food; however I feel like food wise it’s not something I would have a craving too; the garlic sauce is amazingly creamy and not too strong. I found the rice to have a tangy weird taste which was bearable. Good food; good service and clean restaurant. Food wasn’t for my tastebuds..

Hello I am a normal user of this PEPE store. I order from this store at least 4-6 times a week. The issue I have with this store is backed up since I always order even after a bad experience because I can explain this easily and with a truthful experience. I ordered a chicken and rice meal and a chicken XL burger. I received the food and the issue with this store is SOME OF THE STAFF do not know what they are doing. I contacted the store and spoke to the manager. I understand what he was saying and he was trying to make the situation better and he was helpful. However I don’t really need a refund as I’m alright. I just was so disappointed that there are not extra measures in the recruitment process to ensure that the food is coooked correctly and the reason the chicken was hard because it was overcooked then I also ordered a delivery. Which is understandable but the reason I threw up I still don’t know. It was so bad. Ordering from this store is a 50/50. Sometimes you WILL be satisfied and enjoy the experience. Sometimes you will be disappointed. the only way I can understand this to be a better outcome is if the manager fires slacking employees and hires people with a better work ethic. As this is not it!

Will not be ordering again food was soggy & order wrong. Quality compared to another franchise for Pepe’s thar I use locally is so poor in comparison small portions ingredients missing such as cheese when specified on items.

ATTN FRANCHISE OWNER you should not have staff like the woman who took my order. My total was £11.29 and gave her £20.30 anticipating a change of £10 note as I don’t like to carry coins. She simply refused and said I can only take £20. Also she did not had courtesy to be respectful to the customer and the way she was saying delivery drivers to stand in the corner you would be lucky if they keep on showing up. Lastly these newly immigrants need to understand they are in UK where courteousness to customer esp saying thank you after handing over order is a norm. I would reckon the franchise owner takes a notice of this staff member if he/she is serious about the business. I am attaching my invoice which has date and time for traceability of the staff.
