The behaviour of staff is weird ...when we came in there was no one inside the store, yet, all of them were busy with ear phones on ..no greeting, no acknowledgement ..overall a really indifferent attitude from the staff ..

We order peri peri chips and rice with paneer. But the one thing is peri peri chips is awesome 👌 but rice with paneer is very bad in taste.

Had food delivered and the chicken flavor was excellent. The rice was spicy but good. Halal meat.

Their spicy rice is some next level amazing in taste .. soo soo good!

Always get my order wrong, foods good when it’s the right order.

Honestly I was expecting more from Pepes as the fast food chain had went really viral on social media but sadly my expectations were not met at all.The chicken was sour and very bland the loaded fries lacked fries at that point I was just eating sour chicken with garlic sauce this was very unpleasant the food was very mediocre and the chicken barley cooked it might have had to do with the certain shop.

the rice is really bad u have to get allot of garlic sauce to even out flavours the chicken DRY flavourless

Order a peri peri rice box extra hot and wings didn’t arrive only the burger came and chips and the restaurant never pick up.

Staff is so rude and not listening to customers after taking orders. They are busy making delivery, but the takeaway customers are like cowards. We also paid same price as deliveries. Poor catering and service. Employees not washing hands after doing mob and broom at floor. Just a waste of money and time.

Excellent food with excellent service. Some of the humblest people I have met there consistently are Mr. AKSHAT, Mr. SHIVA, Mr. Mahendra, and Mr. Pradeep. This place has A1 hospitality, and the amazing people working here make me visit this place at least once a week.

I want with my son 6 years old we ordered and we paid 37£ we went to the table and the guy his name is akshat asthana he came to the table and he was shouting with the f... word he was very rude and he said you not allowed to sit down he was shouting next to my son and he said will give you the refund and I said nicely why we not allowed to sit down he said I'm the manager and I do what I want My son he loves pope's every weekend we had Dinner there but I will never never go that place again My 6 years old son was very scared of the guy he was shouting and he asked me for my bank details and he send me 37£ refund from his bank account and he said go now My son was very upset and crying but the guy he doesn't care at all

Avoid Pepes sauchihall street is a shambles you order through the ubereats app they dint give you a can instead you get Fanta zero sham of a place. When you spend £20 for average food.

I ignored other people's reviews about finding meat in their veg dish and paid the price. Found a piece of chicken in my paneer rice. As a vegetarian, it's extremely disappointing.

Food quality not good not bad. Portion or fries 🍟 is very small rather then other pepe’s . And if you ask for the ketchup they give you like charity. 🤣🤣 even you feel ashamed to ask for more.

I ordered food online and I was shocked to see the food . I ate food from the same branch for 2 months and food was phenomenal. But today when food arrived ( Rice n chicken) it was horrible , Cmon chef what you doing ..I ordered mild and it was not even mild .Dry chicken like boiled. No sauce or less ... It was not even grilled. I can't see one strip of grill on chicken .. I really wasted my £12 and food went to bin ..it was not even smell that great ..which it supposed to be.. sorry I will not use it branch and will highly recommend people to use instead. There is something wrong going in this branch..exactly 1 year ago everything was ok.

Would give 0 if I could but anyway, basically I have been ordering from this specific branch for a very long time like years multiple times a month or even sometimes everyday for weeks straight. What im about to say has happened about 6-7 times already but I have let it go thinking its fine it’s just food even though I have been extremely tired and hungry and slept hungry. I have come home from the hospital after being with my wife who gave birth which as you can imagine was incredibly stressful and traumatic as well for both of us. Sleepless nights with hardly anytime to eat. I finally get a chance to eat after i came home from the hospital and got extremely upset when they did this for the 7th time, they missed my wife’s chicken and rice as that’s what she had been wanting for daysss after going through so much pain and suffering. So she does not want to eat anymore as she is extremely upset and has a baby now you can imagine what this is like. I called them for the first time and was reasonably upset and told the guy the issue and be literally said to me “ok cool just complain with uber” even after the story i told them and being a LOYAL CUSTOMER for yearsssss they treat me like this. I asked “that’s it? You are not gonna apologise at least?” He said “eh no you said enough bye bye” basically told me to F off. Worst experience of my life ever and please I would highly recommend do mot order from pepes as a company they have hired people that are unprofessional and unsympathetic towards their customers that built their business. They have acted like this many times and they 100% WILL mess up your order due to being lazy and careless.

As I can see they have a history of doing this with lazy staff and unprofessional. They say they will communicate this internally but really they don’t care about you, please wake up people do not take your family here. Disgusting

I'm giving one star and it's not even deserved so I ordered a menu of 5 wings and with the fries there were hairs that disgusted me I couldn't continue eating and the prices are expensive....

I visited Pepe's recently and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The restaurant refused to lower the volume of the music, which featured vulgar language, making it unsuitable for all patrons, especially children. Additionally, the staff were rude and the food was overpriced. The tables were not clean, and there was a noticeable odor in the shop. Overall, I would not recommend dining here.

dont order from any delivery system from this pepes, they take so long only to give you a freezing bite of stale disappointment. Then they deny a refund and dont even offer communication. I wish negative stars were a thing because they must show the disgust i have for these people.

For vegetarians, it's worth mentioning that they use the same grill for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items (you can see this standing by the till), and a similar approach applies to the deep fryers. This cross-contamination may not align with the preferences and dietary requirements of vegetarian customers but the rice boxes, fries and the mayo tastes great. Avoid the nacho box. I could swear they are the plain salted nachos from Tesco.

Honestly I came to visit family in glasgow and was booked in to a hotel not far from here with my husband and we decided to get food at pepes Honestly I really regret it because when we got our food they didn't take any salt down so I went to get salt at the counter and there was a rat in there kitchen please people do not eat from here all thou I got my refund back but Honestly it wasn't about the money this place should be closed down even when I told the staff about the rzt he told us to stay quiet about it because of other customers but I couldn't because this place is not fit there's rats in the kitchen stay away people please because they will poison u staff don't care trust me. This place is disgusting tbh 🤮🤮🤮 STAY AWAY if yee don't want food poison take care all be safe and god bless 🙏

I have ordered takeaway from this place. I ordered a Vegetarian option but it had piece of meat in it. I mean why bother offering Vegetarian options when ur are hell bent on violating people's dietary restrictions. Absolutely Insulting. Disgusting behaviour.

I called Pepes peri peri to complain, and the manager there, Akshat, was incredibly kind and considerate. He took my feedback to heart and promptly provided the correct order while also complementing me with cake. We are grateful for this and the excellent service you provided. I was working in Scotland today and I purchased 2 chicken burger meals and 18 wings (all extreme). Spend over £30. The burgers were dry and the extreme sauce was minimal. The wings were fantastic and delicious. I thought that the quality would be like all the English branches that I am used to. I guess my expectation was not met. Scotland has lost me as a customer

Ordered through Uber eats today. I don’t normally leave reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal today. Whoever was in the kitchen around 12/1pm made me the perfect HOT chick n rice. It was well seasoned, very saucy and chicken pieces were tender and good size. They were also very generous to fill the box to the brim. Amazing one of the best I’ve had and I’ve had many chick n rice box from here as it’s my favourite🥹 I hope I get the same consistency for my next order!

I’ve had Pepe’s from other places but it’s strictly below average over here. We had hot sauce but it was too sour for us. Tastes very different from the one we had last time. The ambience is quite bad and you cannot expect it to be tidy. The chips were good I must say. The staff are really friendly and helpful, but I wish the food was as good as the service.

Bought meals from here 5 times. All 5 times we got drinks, they were warm. May as well throw out the fridges.

Ordered two lamb burger meals which are £6.19 each. When they arrived I had to laugh! For reference the burger is around the same size as the small tub of mayo you get with the order!! To top it off my burger bun was rock hard at the bottom so I could only eat the top bun and burger. Two bites and it was done. Absolutely shocking! I don’t know how that price is justified, absolute daylight robbery. Never again.

Ordered on Deliveroo and they took 1 Hour to deliver. 1st time I ordered 2 weeks ago and the food was cold because the order was delayed. I thought let's order again they might have had a bad day. My 2nd order same thing the delivery was delayed again. Tried to get in touch with them but it was closed according to Google. I will not order again from this place.

Ate there yesterday had a burrito meal mild with piri piri chips and piri piri mayo I was then compelled to write this review. Wow! I went to subway a couple doors away and thankfully they didn't have what I wanted and I looked at this place and went to walk past to visit mcds but I decided to stop and give it a bash and I'm so glad I did! Flipping heck it was darn tasty and had loads of decent chicken breast in it. It knocked seven shades out of KFC mcds and taco Bell. It was utterly delicious and far better than the other places I mentioned and I felt like I'd eaten a meal unlike the usual suspects. I live a distance away but I assure you I can't wait to go back! It was clean and the staff were very good and it was cooked to order so a couple of minutes wait but well well worth it.

Dunno why this place has good reviews . Order came cold and missing the ice cream we ordered phoned and all the said was get a refund on uber eats. Never again

Recently had the opportunity to try food at Pepe's. One of the best in the town to be frank. Quality food. Nice taste. Best service by Mr. Praveen. Staff were super friendly. Must try their chicken wings and peri-peri fries (hot).

Young scot lass who works here always taking orders when I'm in is one of the kost hardworking and nicest staff I've met in fast food. Also foods pretty banging too give it a try.

I have been wanting to try Pepe for some months as have one where I live. Service was, being nice, average. I cannot say it was bad but; non-committal if ya know what I am getting at. Food was same as I just said.
