Top Chinese, drive past every wk to our home in Tyn y gongl and decided to order it ready for when we were passing , it was ready on time and the nicest food we’d had in a long time, all 4 people loved their food and there was nothing left at the end, definitely will be using it regularly

Rice was like couscous, chicken was very fatty. Spring rolls were OK there was a lot of good reviews that's why we went there but unfortunately we didn't get the good experience so won't be going back.

Food was mixed- some dishes average others were good but none great. Don’t deliver which is annoying and don’t label the boxes - why?!

I have to say our meal tonight was 1st class. Amazing quality. We had chicken curry and sweet n sour chicken and the pieces of chicken were huge! We really enjoyed our meal. Value for money. Thank you so much.

Reading all great reviews about food we decided to try it. We were looking forward to a good Chinese but food was well below average and disappointing. Sour and spicy soup was extremely vinegary inedible, crispy beef wasn’t freshly cooked- dry and chewy, noodles agin very dry and tasteless.

This has got to be one of the worst below average Chinese food I've ever eaten, food is dry over cooked, no flavour, hard and greasy prawn toast, shredded duck was dry and it was a shame the duck had to be sacrificed for this restaurant. After spending £70 for a family meal take out,I can honestly say that I will never be going back.

Fantastic meal. No mag and we really enjoyed what we had. Really good value for money. I would really recommend. This place has a good and varied menu

This Chinese takeaway never disappoints. Every meal over the time we’ve been coming to Anglesey has never let us down. Lovely staff too.

Reading the reviews we must of caught it on a bad night. Tasteless greasy prawn toast and spring rolls. Slimy chicken and overcooked tough pork. Fried rice was more like cous cous that's never seen soy sauce. Frozen greasy chips. When making the order we were told there was over an hour wait to pick up so you would think it would be good but believe me it was the worst chinese we've ever had. No exaggeration

Great takeaway - really good value and quality food. We had: 1/2 duck - excellent! Lemon chicken - to quote my daughter "the best I've ever had" Egg fried rice - lovely Prawn toast - excellent vegetable spring rolls - excellent - they are small but plenty of them Sweet & Sour chicken - lovely The only dishes we weren't impressed with / weren't nice were the shredded chilly beef & chicken - we'd asked for them to make it mild with no onion and both dishes were really hot so no idea what normal would be like. I don't think they actually did them mild, I think there was 1 sauce for that dish and that was used. This is why I deducted a star - the rest of the food was amazing. Price was really good and value exceptional. I'd highly recommend, but perhaps only order direct from the menu without asking for any variation. Small amount of parking right outside.

Very efficient, friendly and prompt service. Food was delicious and great quality too. There is a wide varied menu and the prices are very reasonable. This is now our new favourite Anglesey Takeaway and we will definitely be returning!

Excellent great portions friendly service & not expensive quality of food brilliant our favourite is sweet & sour pork with mushroom rice.

1 hour wait on a Saturday Evening...no problem...pint in pub next door....chill out....food gorgeous...some things are worth waiting for....

What can I say other than excellent. We had to visit to place an order because it was so popular that we couldn,t get through on the telephone, but that didn,t put us off. We were told that due to demand that there was a one hour delay, between ordering a nd service, obviously because it was a Saturday night and very busy. It was well worth the wait. We ordered 4 mains ( huge) two rice and a curry sauce all for under £30. Enough for 4 people and leftovers.

Yes these guys probably are the best on Anglesey, certainly this side of the island.. The only issue is that they're so popular you can be waiting a long time for your food but it's delicious and reasonabley priced plus I never feel rough after it like you can do with other takeaways..

Great takeaway … so fresh, generous portions and loads of vegetables in my dish with spring onion and ginger. Really tasty. We ordered in advance by phone and then collected.

Called for a takeaway here after reading possitive reviews. Very dissapointed with my mongolian chicken. The chicken was of a really poor quality that i had no more than two pieces and the rest went in the bin. It didnt even look like chicken and looked like it had been battered flat with a lump hammer. Really dissaplointed after looking forward to it all day.The other half was happy with her prawn toast and salt n pepper chips with sweet n sour sauce, however i wont be going again

Used this takeaway twice whilst staying close by. The food was excellent very tasty and plenty of it. Wish it was nearer to my home. Really good selection. Yes it is cash and pick up only but it is still top class.

On holiday and tried this take away out .....so nice we made a second visit. Clean,good portions, very hot all in all nice meal......it’s cash only but don’t let this prevent you from calling. Parking nearby and very speedy on advance orders

Amazing. Large portions, cooked perfectly and very tasty. It only took 10 mins from ordering to being ready. I have eaten a lot of takeaway Chinese on various holidays but I can say this chinese is the best I have eaten from. You can also park off the road at the front of the takeaway.

Looking forward to a lovely takeaway based on reviews but after ringing there was not one single meal suitable for a vegan. You would have thought they could have excluded the fish sauce just so I could eat something but apparently not.

Over a period of the 15 years I've been coming here I've not had a bad dish! I also appreciate the honesty when I ask how long it will take for an order to arrive. No false hopes or lies, just the plain truth, so you are never let down.This is a superb takeaway in terms of its food, and also in terms of its professionalism and customer care. I cannot recommend it high enough!I have been to most takeaways and restaurants on Anglesey, but no place gets a higher recommendation, from me, than this one!!

This was my first ever visit here.Ordered the food, and they said it'd be ready in 30 minutes. It was actually ready within 20 minutes. Very friendly staff there. They have the nicest Crispy Chilli Beef in the area. Well worth a visit, i'll definitely be going back there, very soon.

Been going here for a few years now. Very nice food and it’s in a different class. Even after moving away still travel back here as better than take away locally

Ordered spare ribs in bbq sauce in honey,beef in black bean with green peppers and char sui with cashews.. ..the complimentary prawn crackers won thw show. So sorry we bothered had much tastier chinese food!

Always amazing food, friendly and a good price. They are so popular there is often a wait but that really is no problem. When we ask for a veg side dish it’s packed with green veg mushrooms etc. Well done guys, keep up the good work.

We’ve had food from here quite a few times now and have only one complaint!!! Get a card machine please!!! No one uses cash any more so please move on with the times!

If you get a take away from here, don’t worry about cooking for another two days! Good basic Chinese food worn fresh ingredients and huge portions. It is one of our favourite places to get food after a long journey.

Definitely the best Chinese in the area, always a polite and friendly service. Food is absolutely delicious and always fresh and nice.Having switched to being vegetarian I was worried there wouldn’t be enough on the menu but there is more than enough and the mixed vegetables with green pepper and black bean sauce is a favourite of mine. Best Chinese food in the area, decent portion size and good value too. Worth ringing and booking a take away early to avoid a wait.

Saturday night in so we had a take away, never been here before just turned up at 6 o clock to be told an hour and 15 minute wait on food so ordered any way, went back food ready and waiting , staff very nice and chatty, free prawn crackers, food was still piping hot when got back to cottage and it was delicious crispy chili chicken and honey bbq chicken both with fried rice ,really enjoyed it ,will be go back

Ordered King prawn chow mien, it was so dry I could t eat it, I put plenty of soy sauce on but still dry so then had to add my husbands Indian meal sauce. rang to complain, but their answer was we should have asked for sauce? WHAT. chow mien dishes are always deliciously flavoursome & moist, I should have bought a packet Of king prawns and added noodles cos that’s all I got?

Called at exactly at 5pm last night and placed an order. We arrived to collect at the already busy shop where the server realised he had made an error on the order so I was asked to wait for just 5 mins. The food was excellent, all the dishes were hot, tasty and full of nice veg. This takeaway looks very innocent and unassuming but don't be fooled, it is well worth a visit

Very good Chinese takeaway. Always good service, food served quickly. The spicy salt and pepper squid is amazing, it’s a must if you visit this Chinese.

Placed an order for six of us on the first night of our week's holiday having previously looked at 'tripadvisor'. Order was ready for collection within the 20 minutes advised. Choice, quality of food, portion size, value for money were all as the vast majority of 'tripadvisor' reviews ! No hesitation in recommending to one and all.

Hang landed at our rented holiday cottage late in the day by the time we unloaded and set up there was little time to investigate where to eat and we relied on Trust Advisor to save the day. This Chinese takeaway looks nothing from the roadside but be brave give it a try. The meal was ordered on the phone and the delay was a mere 20 minutes. Sure enough it was ready before 20 minutes , was hot and excellent value for money. My wife really rated the King Prawns and my Chicken Satay was to die for. Pity there is no facility to select six stars. Really is the number 1 Chinese on Anglesey. Thank you Trip Adviser

This my local take away reason for the title when it's busy sometimes an hour wait food is always good & will cook to your special dietary requirements . My house is No onions or veg(not for me may add) plenty of car parking and if you have to wait always the pub up the road for a quick pint

Impromptu stop-off here and picked up a takeaway en route to our long-weekend accommodation. We had the set meal for two, which included soup, and it was excellent. Sweet and sour chicken balls especially so!

We telephoned our order through. Took a while as the line was constantly engaged but that is due to it's popularity as it's known to be good, both for food and value.

Ribs great, chips frozen not home made but OK , like others have to agree chow mien tasteless & lacking in ingredients but chicken was shredded & edible , says medium noodles but in fact vermicelli. chicken in curry was perfectly regular cubes of processed slimy inedible chicken although sauce was lovely. dogs have got loads for breakfast tomorrow had high hopes of finally finding a decent takeaway on the island but sadly not this one

The Chinese in the village is always busy as the food is always cooked to perfection. Very reasonably priced and the chips are home made so take a minute to stop off on your way through the village and you won't be disappointed.

Best chinese on the island! Pentraeth is located 10 minutes from benllech and 10 minutes from menai bridge. They don't accept cards but there is a cash point at the petrol station. The curry is very nice.

Not been for a while and I remember this Chinese have always been good.

We get a takeaway every Saturday, I was a bit apprehensive when it changed hands, but I have to say they have kept to the very high levels of friendly service and quality food, definitely recommend.

Best Chinese I've had for a while. Would have ordered half of what we did if we had known how big the portions were. Kids meal was huge! The chicken and sweetcorn soup is highly recommended especially. Tasty food, really good menu, friendly service.

Came across this little chinese takeaway last week,we have passed it many times on our many trips to Anglesey but only last week decided to try it.Well impressed with food both quality and quantity and staff very friendly.Will definitely be going back.

There is a great choice on the menu. And the food is always very freshly cooked. My vegetarian daughter loves it too.

We had a takeaway last night , and were very pleasantly surprised . We had assumed that since moving here we would never have a decent Chinese meal again , having tried the likes of the Phoenix . However the meal was excellent . The hot & sour soup was really good , as was the crispy duck . And I can highly recommend the sweet & sour . No wonder it gets such good reviews , I just wish it was closer .

Have eaten from here regularly when camping on red warf bay and more recently last Saturday whilst staying in a cottage in Llanddona food always ready when you preorder and is always hot and flavoursome

Driven past it dozens of times but tempted to try it by TripAdvisor reviews.Phoned order, ready when they said, food quality excellent. Lots of it too, couldn't finish it - tried hard.

Called for the very first time and, although it was extremely busy with customers and telephone orders, it was all very efficient and organised. Although we waited a long time, the food was well worth the wait. Delicious and tasty and plenty for all. Four very happy, satisfied customers. Thank you. We will definitely be calling again on our next trip to Anglesey.

We used this take away last night and I can honestly say it's the very worst Chinese food we have ever had the misfortune to have(almost) eaten. One dish was fragrant pork chow mein which bore no resemblance to any chow mein I have ever had and I've had hundreds. It consisted of dry noodles and a few miniscule bits of pork and was completely tasteless. If it had a few glugs of soy sauce may have saved the day but even that vital ingredient was missing...The other dish was mushroom chow mein which consisted of four mushrooms, quartered with the same dry noodles and that was it. Both dishes had no taste whatsoever and after a couple of forkfuls we binned the lot...Almost forgot to mention the hot and sour *soup* which again was inedible. This item tasted as if it was served in neat acetic acid.

Excellent food and prompt service. My husband and I had two meals from there last week whilst on holiday in Pentraeth and we were highly impressed.

Regulars here and the Singapore Vermicelli is delicious just the right kind of spicy, my partner has the half rice chips and curry, the curry itself is what puts this place on the map. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Great food ,salt and pepper ribs are delicious . Can get busy in high season but worth the wait , it's cash only so go prepared

The food is outstanding and would definitely recommend. We visited on bank holiday Monday and it was very busy so we had to wait 40 minutes but it was well worth the wait. You can also telephone your order so that could be worth considering

What a gem, great food at very reasonable prices. We have tried several times now as have a caravan nearby, each time the food has been lovely with generous portions. It gets busy in holiday season so make sure you call in plenty of time.

The food is always good, salt and pepper chips are amazing. Very well priced compared to other takeaways. The only annoying thing is they don't take card payment which in this day in age is rediculous, if you order something for £11 you have to go to the cash machine in the petrol station and pull £20 out!!

Food was very nice .friendly staff .easy to find plenty of parking at the side .found it easier to phone our orders through as we are local but even if you order on the premises you don't have a long wait. Would recommend to anyone that visits the island to try. Yum yum

Very nice well worth the drive to pickup, have tried the local take away to me in Amlwch, this was 1st Class 5* Normally you would have to go to a big City to get good Chinese food. This one is on my list

On holiday in a nearby holiday home, there was a menu for the Chinese so rang our order through which we would pick up in an hour(no delivery service). Picked it up no problem,it was one of the nicest Chinese takeaways that we've had. Good prices,lovely food. Give it a try & see for yourself.

For the last 10 years the only time you can get a good Chinese meal, is in a big city. Living in Amlwch the two we have are always lacking in flavor. This is a long run for a Chinese meal, but i glad i did it was great. I will be back

Decided to have a Take-a-Way after a hard days gardening, we were hungry !We telephoned our order through and was advised there was an hours waiting time for our meal.That did not matter, as we know the food is well worth waiting for.The place was very, VERY busy. Being a Holiday Island, with schools (ALL over the Country) having finished for the long Summer holidays. So a long wait was expected.Would always advise to phone your order through, due to the long expected wait.Our meal was perfect, very enjoyable and tasty ! We enjoyed the free Prawn Crackers and the free 'Fortune Cookie' given with all orders, occurring a bit of a wait.Would highly recommend, as well worth the wait. Certainly will use again, as do many locals and holiday tourists when here.Staff are always polite and courteous. Clean premises with a 5* hygiene rating.

Tried here after the usual place we used to get our chinese from went down hill and it was so yummy. U have to wait say 20-30 mins but its so worth it :)

After reading previous reviews we decided to give this takeaway a go but ended up disappointed with our meal. Spring roll starters were undercooked resulting in a very soggy raw layer of filo pastry not pleasant at all. Main course of chicken in garlic and onion sauce was watery,bland and had no real taste of garlic. Mongolian beef was ok, rice ok,prawn crackers ok. From reviews and menu choices we were expecting better won't go back.

Excellent takeaway, everyone pleased with food and a reasonable price. Clean place and friendly service. Definitely use again.

While staying on Holiday in a near by Cottage, we decided to order Take Away food from here. I can honestly say it was the best Chinese Food we have ever eaten. Wish it was our local take .

We treated ourselves for the final day of our holiday, staying in a holiday cottage not far away. Rang through our order and 20 minutes later it was ready. Delicious food and great value too. Highly recommend this takeaway if you are in the,area.

We live locally and this is definitely the best , most consistent Chinese around. Reasonably priced and good selection from a clean and friendly place. What more could you want? :)

Never been to this chinese before, staying in a finds caravan nearby. Some of the best food we have tasted. Absolutely fantastic.

Feeling lazy and watching the Wales football, thought we would try this apparently unprepossessing takeaway. We were blown away by the quality, size of portions and price of the meals. We have eaten from Chinese restaurants and takeaways all over the UK and can honestly say that this is up there with the best - well done and good luck for your future.

Thought we would try a takeaway for a change as we normally don`t eat at " home" when we are on vacation, wasn't disappointed, god quality food, good selection, reasonable price when in the pub across the road while we waited, free prawn crackers as well.

Staying in a holiday cottage in a nearby village, we used this Chinese takeaway several times during our stay. As well as the food being excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming. This is as good a takeaway as you could wish for.Highly recommended.

The Chinese Takeaway here is very nice. Very popular so best ring an order through. Good size portions (we normally share a main and a starter between two). Cooked freshly to order. Nice staff too :)
