What a fabulous find. We were delighted that this lovely place is dog friendly and with so many beautiful walks around. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and good prices. At last, a place to return too !

Popped in to catch up with an old friend for lunch. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, soup and sandwich was just perfect and we followed this up with a scoop of Belgian chocolate ice cream…..delicious! The staff were friendly and we didn’t feel rushed ( we were still chatting away some 2 hrs later!) A new favourite place for us! See you again soon!

I popped in for the first time on my way through Tillicoultry today and I was really impressed - I had a ham & cheese toastie and iced coffee to start and thought both were amazing value for how good they were. The ham and cheese toastie uses really thick fresh bread and proper ham 😋 I also had the raspberry sorbet and I genuinely think it's a must try - it's hard to get decent sorbet in most ice cream spots these days so I was pleasantly surprised! Lovely place, friendly and welcoming reception from staff. Clean and professional environment,,excellent choice of sandwiches ,toasties .cakes and scones, extensive range of hot and cold drinks. Various choices of homemade ice creams that you can’t decide!. To top it all off it’s dog friendly with dog ice cream, perfect place to refresh after a walk. Thank you penny licks

Double Cone with two flavours, Asked the girl to add a little more, as the second scoop was extremely small. She was going to argue, but put on a measly bit more. Although the icecream was tasty enough, at £3.95 it did not bestow good value,, for what was received. I believe this establishment offers a too good to waste icecream bag, if the portions were slightly more generous, they would sell more,and have less waste and have happy customers likely to return. Poor customer service. Certainly was less than impressed.

I was really disappointed with my £5 milkshake. Out of all the expensive milkshakes I've tried this is the worst value for money. Was finished in 4 mouthfuls and the straw was far too big for the small glass. Won't be buying another as I felt ripped off.

I have been a few times with different family and friends. The food was okay but each time I’ve found the service poor and the staff unwelcoming. Despite this, I’ve always gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back but each time it’s been the same. They do a too good to waste ice cream bag and post on Facebook to let people know so they can buy them. This morning I private messaged their Facebook page (so my dad didn’t see as it was going to be a little extra for him to go with his Father’s Day). They read the message then blanked me and continued to reply to others on the Facebook post. The ice cream bags are now sold out and I missed out. I have messaged them again explaining that I felt their service has been poor and that if they were going by the comments on their post they couldn’t have explained that in the private message to me. Instead they have just blanked me. I, along with friends and family will not be back.

Warm welcome in this bright cafe. Shared a massive cheese and ham toastie. Given the option of adding crisps and coleslaw for an extra £1.50 which we did. It arrived quickly and was really tasty. Planned to have coffee and cake ( which looked really good) but both tempted by the ice cream which was superb I had a 2 scoop tub of tablet and raspberry ripple and my partner went for a sundae which he demolished They also serve dog ice cream which we witnessed being enjoyed !! The cafe got really busy before we left. Toilet very clean. Great find on our walk through the area

Lovely place to eat although my friends food came out 10mins before mine meaning her food would be finished or cold if we were to eat together, however they did apologise. got some ice cream after and so many choices and all tasty.

We love Penny Licks. We pop in every chance we get. The food is fantastic and the staff are lovely. The ice cream is the nicest I’ve ever had, especially the mint choc chip which is the best in the world, probably……

We came with my parents for a spit of lunch and we’re not disappointed..couldn’t wait to try the ice cream which was delicious, especially the banana ! Will be back

We called in after a nice walk in between showers. The ice Cream was absolutely delicious, staf was friendly and professional, the parlour is clean and bright with plenty of space between tables. The best ice cream I’ve had for quite a while. As good a Luvians of Cupar and that’s saying something. Will be back very soon.😍

A great little cafe. Food is great, staff are too, always get a friendly reception from them, and nothing is too much bother. They have the best coffee around, and the ice cream, which is made on the premises, is amazing. So many flavours to choose from. Love going here.

Clean, nicely decorated cafe. We enjoyed lunch and took a large tub of ice cream home with us. Staff were friendly and attentive, food tasty, would recommend!

I love coming here, choices are fantastic. Not just ice cream, you can have sandwiches, toasties and wraps, also cakes. It all tastes amazing, and you are looked after by an amazing team! We come here every available weekend we have 😁

I’ve been in a couple of times now, and have been met with a friendly smile and lovely atmosphere. So far I’ve had the coffee, hot chocolate, pizza panini, pulled pork panini and the salted caramel ice cream. All of which were excellent and I’ll be having again. Although the cafe was busy I was served quickly and the food arrived hot and well presented.

Just moved to Alva ( from NZ) and I can hand on heart say this cafe feels like my little home from home! Awesome waffles and and Ice Cream with all the works!! What more could a girl want! Really stoked to have found this place and will be a firm favourite with my family and I!! Can’t wait to try the chocolate orange ice cream next on my list!! The best part for foodies is the cafe is open late the latter part of the week until late, which is perfect when you fancy a treat other than pub grub!

This was a radom find while out and about. There was a variety of cakes and of course ice cream. There were some savory items available also. Only soup was available for gulten free diets and no bread to go with this. The young man who served myself seemed lost, and very unsure about everything. This reduced my confidence in what we were going to get what I ordered. One of the things I was ordering was waffles which came with two scoops of ice cream. I only wanted one, the young man said that wasn't possible! I had to explain I would pay full price but only wanted one scoop and didn't want waste. The man (tall blonde hair) who served us was fantastic and very attentive, I am going presume either a manager figure or owner. The toilet set up was a let down, the one baby changing and disabled toilet I could find had ZERO baby changing facilities meaning I had to sit on the floor and change my child! Overall the food was OK, the service to begin with was a disipointment and I would not return with young children sadly as I do not find it acceptable to have to sit on the toilet floor to change a child.
