We waited half an hour for the worst cheese n tuna toastie I’ve ever had : soggy toast, a few flakes of tuna, a bit of tasteless cheese. And I got a dodgy tummy straight after. It reminded me of the last time I went - Dux months before - when I ordered sour dough toast and after 20 minutes was given some slightly crisped, non toasted bread. There’s a reason why this place is mostly empty, most of the time …..

Lovely little cafe - relaxed ambience, friendly staff and decent service. Food not spicy enough to be authentic Sri Lankan but would obviously please the general British palate. Special mention to chef Touria who was friendly and spoke to us about the menu. The only reason I’m giving this a 3 star ( otherwise deserving of 4) is because of the tiger toys in the cafe hinting at the Tamil Tiger political connection. All the other decor was reminiscent of a colonial Sri Lankan style so this was totally unnecessary. Not good ! Reveals the mentality of the owner. Won’t be going again.

Popped in for a spot of lunch and a cup of tea. Friendly attentive service from the owner Gobi. We had a lovely turmeric chai latte and a sri lankan orange peko tea, both made in house. Lunch was Curry of the day with Paratha and Sri Lankan Thali for my other half. We also shared some lamb samosas to start. Everything was served promptly and piping hot. All clearly made fresh with a lovely blend of spices, leaving a nice gentle afterburn of chilli 🌶 on the lips 💋 (just how i like it)! Was nice and busy whilst we were there, the owner seemed to know many of his customers to speak to on sight which is lovely to see in a city like London which can often be so impersonal. Wish we were local so we could enjoy this place more regularly

This cafe is prettily decorated with panels of bright Sri Lankan fabrics on the walls and the food is delicious. After the salmon kedgeree which I had today I want to eat my way through the rest of the menu! They are very good at sweets too. Worth a few minutes walk from King St or the Goldhawk Rd.

Went here for the first time this weekend on a family trip to London and loved this place. Has a great atmosphere and so welcoming. We had the eggs and avocado on toast which was fab; the addition of a little Sri Lankan spices really adds depth and the well chosen herbs served shows real thinking behind the menu. Got chatting for a bit to the owners, Gobi and Helen, who were really happy to spend time with us, as they did other customers in there. I’d rate their service as some of the best in London I’ve seen and as other customers came in they were greeting them by name. A lovely touch. Wish I had a local tea house like this in my neighbourhood. (They also serve wine and beer!!) Awesome place.

Been here a couple of times now for lunch. First time we both had avocado toast. This time round sandwiches, one chicken curry and second falafel. Both very tasty. Pot of house blend breakfast tea, tea leaves, a timer and proper cups and saucers - makes a change from a tea bag in a mug! Service friendly. Atmosphere is bright, books and magazines to read.

Unfortunately the service is always slow and since it is at the end of my road this is very disappointing. The food is cold most of the time and slow. They are one of the few places to use oat milk which is a bonus but I am afraid this place needs some serious staff training in cooking, coffee and service.

I visited on a Friday with my work colleagues and was blown away. The vegetable samosas were so fresh and crispy, with a perfect balance of spices - I ended up ordering a second portion and getting more to take away! The ambience is incredibly relaxing, a perfect way to start my weekend and a definite recommendation to anyone around the Hammersmith area looking for a blend of Sri Lankan and English.

I never write reviews but this place just basically robbed me. A paneer box cost £10. There was basically no paneer in it, a small SPRINKLE, not even a single cube. I just paid £10 for rice and salad
