Halfway through chicken fried rice and got a mouth full of a long blonde hair 🤮never again 🤬

We have used this service for years. Food still a very high standard. Would recommend. Still cash only. We had to wait for our collection but it's worth the wait.

Best takeaway in Swallownest by far

It's a takeaway, so there is no atmosphere, but the food and service are top-notch.

Lovely food. Great service and a good price too. Definitely our go to Chinese from now on.

We always order from Peking. It's the best Chinese in swallownest, food always nice, always hot, only down side is they don't deliver, I suppose when the food is good you don't need to deliver as people will travel and collect for good food.

Only gave it 1 star coz I had to. Starter was enough to put us off eating our main! Combo was disgusting, looked like it was cooked last week and tasted rank, sauce was definitely off. I chose this takeaway coz reviews I looked at said how great it is...never again! Absolutely vile. Returned our meal and they gave us our money back...1 plus point I suppose! Ended up going to Oceans chippy...spot on!

Food was mediocre at best , overcharged for 5 meals then didn't even receive 1 of them so had to ring back, I know its Xmas eve but no excuse..

Since my previous reviews, I was debating whether it should be 2 stars of 3. The reason is that I placed my order and was told that it would be 25 minutes. Now I know it was busy, but at the end of the day, if it was going to take round 45 minutes (including me stood around the shop for over 20 minutes) I wouldn't have gone to the shop until later on. The food was nice, as it usually is, it's just the length of time to wait for the food that is the issue and the fact it takes quite a bit longer than initially told.

Was visiting Gullivers Valley, kids wanted rice, a quick search found this place! Food is spot on!

Best Chinese takeaway in the area

Food was average, we were about 20 minutes away from home and they forgot items and we couldn't go back as it was close to closing time. Could only pay in cash so had to go to the cash machine. Prawn toast got them one more star, it was the saving grace lol

Peking take away was very good. Only down side was cash only. Had set meal for two and was as good as it gets. Would and will go again

We had a takeaway from the Peking after many years. The reason being all the other Chinese takeaways deliver But the other ones have all gone down hill.The Peking was wonderful. We are back for good even though they don't deliver.

Order from here well over 10 year now no longer live in the area but still drive to here as it’s the best Chinese you could ever have.

We ordered for the first time other night iv got to say the best Chinese around by far all the food was cooked fresh everything tasted so good what more do you need to say theses Peoloe don’t offer delivery as they don’t need to so if you want food like this you have to collect id drive miles to get a proper Chinese like this I will not eat from any we’re else and will continue to collect my order beautiful food 👍

Well I have to say that was the worst Chinese takeaway we've had in a long long time! The fried rice was the only ok bit. We had to throw all the king prawns away as they were like soggy balls of fat. The noodles were overcooked and the curry sauce congealed. Never again! #feelsick

Tried the Peking after a time away. Salt and pepper ribs were spectacularly good. All food came very hot and freshly prepared and I will have no hesitation in ordering again.
