After a lovely walk arrived at cafe at 11.50 and asked to see a menu. We were told that they don't start lunch until 12 and that's when they bring the menus out!! I asked what sort of thing is on the menu and was told "food"...!!! So rude. Unbelievable attitude and what a bizarre thing that you can't even look at a menu before 12. I live locally and often walk at the burrows but will not visit again. Would not recommend.

We are locals and called in for snack lunch . Were told at 11.40 that no food available until 12.00 so ordered coffee as waitress said menus not available. We asked if she could bring them out to us when ready so waited until 12.20 . Went in to ask if menus were ready and server pointed to menus on counter . At this point we decided that they didn't really want the business so came home !.

This is in a great spot. Outside seating with views. We popped in for coffee, drinking chocolate and enjoyed toasted teacakes while the dog had a puppuccino. The staff were friendly and the whole place is clean. The toilets are attached and were also very clean. We did find it a bit expensive though

I was recommended to try this by a friend. 9 of us staying locally rocked.up for breakfast at about 10:30am... we'd already noted from the website that they don't serve food between 11:30 - 12pm. we had 4 small dogs with us and sat at the back in the corner as two of our dogs are in training and need socialising. The 'dog rules' was definitely a clue of things to come. My two dogs barked a couple of times at other dogs coming in. The owner told my partner, "One more bark, and they are out, Despite this we ordered 9 breakfasts and the lad that took the order complains loudly "its gonna take me ages to cook this lot" we decided to sit outside away from our family as we felt by this point unwelcome. My niece then heard the owner say to another customerl "Yours are lovely and quiet, not like those rats" if I had heard this, then I would have left immediately!! My family came out to join us after they had eaten and said they had never felt so unwelcome! The food is average at best, and the poached eggs were solid! ... it's just a shame the whole experience was ruined by the poor attitude of the staff. Save yourself yourself £7 on the toll and a disappointing trip and eat elsewhere!

Was disappointed with the poached eggs ment to be runny not hard like a boiled egg. The waiters are lovely but the chief was very rude. He told us to read the sign about dogs barking it barked once and was really rude with a bad attitude. What made half of our family sit outside in the cold we then herd him saying to someone that dog is a little rat, When I placed my order he was like this is going to take forever to cook, I’m sorry but if your employed as a chief and we’re a full paying customer that is his job we didn’t expect to here this coming from his mouth. It wasn’t even busy at the time we was the only table that was ordering food at the time.

Very very disappointing breakfast. One rasher of bacon that had been cooked folded in half, very mediocre sausage, one mushroom, spoonful of beans, a hash brown, a slice of toast with only one pat of butter but a soft poached egg. I would consider that £9.50 was very expensive and have had much better breakfasts for the same it less. Won’t be returning!!!

The small breakfast is priced at £9.50 and came with a frozen deep fried sausage a shrivelled field mushroom with burnt thyme on it and a hard boiled egg. With a piece of toast that had been in the toaster a little too long and one small butter packet and the beans were cold. It is not hard to do a breakfast like this too a basic standard but this was dreadful and the coffee was very very strong and bitter even though it was an americano. I had asked to switch out one item due to dietary requirements and was greeted by a very rude no and why to which I had to try and explain a medical reason in front of a large queue - embarassing

Having walked for what seemed like hours in the pouring rain, we arrived at Pebbleridge Kitchen to be greeted very warmly by the friendly staff. Food was excellent and the toilets were some of the best considering they were for everyone passing through. It was the highlight of a very wet miserable day, thank you :o)

After climbing over pebbles and through the golf course dodging sheep, we were pleased to see this visitors centre. Toilets are attached very handy. Dogs allowed but bark more than 3 times, and you're kicked out! 🤣. 3 lovely hot coffees, 2 sandwiches and Calamari with Chilli mayo. The dog also had 2 doggie sausages. He approved! Yes, all a little pricy but delicious and well worth it. Staff nice and friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

Overall quite a nice cafe, clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. The music on this occasion was way to loud. Just a shame its fallen into the cashless payment lark, that alone has put me off coming back.
