Excellent meal, great service, very friendly atmosphere. Mixed "a la carte" and Sunday carvery menu. Tasty bottle of shiraz. Lovely quiet table in fairly busy restaurant area. Would recommend. Will be back!

The food was delicious and plenty of it. The restaurant ambience was great with superb views overlooking the Solent. The service was friendly and our drinks were served quickly after being seated. But unfortunately for reasons unknown the service was extremely slow and I had to actually ask a waiter if we had been forgotten.

Fantastic Sunday dinner. Served to perfection, brilliant ambience, food wonderful. Setting outstanding. Highly recommended.

Location was exquisite, I didn't want to leave the outdoor area (seaside views). On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a Spanish night, which incorporated Spanish food and live music. The staff managed to reserve a table for us (it was fully booked) and we had the best night of food, drinks and dancing. Pretty good for a Wednesday night. I will be back and totally recommend this gorgeous oasis. P.S. the Penthouse room is the best if you are seeking a room for a special occasion. We stayed in the Purbeck Room and were very impressed, perfect for the two of us. Keep up the fantastic vibe there plus the staff were/are the best.

When I visited this restaurant August 2024, I was impressed with their apparent success in weathering the storm of recent years. They have had to change their style to meet the times we are in, and seemed to have done that very well. However, a visit in October was much less successful. This started when we were taken to our table, already laid up for our arrival. BUT the table itself was covered with debris - a bad start. And, what made it worse was the attitude of the staff member, when we had to ask for the table to be wiped. Rather than an apology, a hostile silence hung in the air. The table was duly wiped with the help of a spray (just water? something more?), including over empty wine glasses set out, and AROUND the condiments, rather than under. To avoid spoiling our visit, we made no complaint about this. However, sadly, we were then let down by the meal itself. Using the set meal menu, the prawn cocktail, beautifully presented in wide/tall wine glass, was simply impractical. It came with uncut long tendrils of green salad which were impossible to cut in this glass on a small plate, so that one of our number actually choked on it! And then the main pork dish was so tiny it could have been a starter - two small chunks of pork! And including no visible potato(!) until it was pointed out that mash had been thinly/decoratively(?) smeared across the bottom of the plate! FGS - pork and potatoes are both very cheap. This expensive snack was well cooked and did include a small side-dish of mixed vegetables. The main menu prices are expensive but, if the restaurant cannot produce a better table d'hote experience, perhaps they should think again - a two course offering perhaps?

Pebble beach is described as a 'Restaurant with rooms'. We stayed in one of their rooms for on a saturday evening. The experience was extremely pleasant and couldn't be faulted. We arrived for Saturday lunch with members of our family for an 80th birthday celebration. As we had booked in their Penthouse room, or rooms as it turned out we began by having champagne in our lounge. In addition to the en suite bedroom with separate dressing room, there was a large lounge and kitchen with The rooms ran across the whole width of the upstairs over the restaurant, and the outside space was enormous with space for a seating area, sunbathing area and dining area. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind. The lunch in the restaurant was good. The next morning we had a pleasant full English breakfast in the restaurant.

Nice food but service was poor. Sat for 15 min before we were asked what we wanted to drink and the service didn’t improve after that. Nice interior and set up, let down by poor service.

I had a great dining experience at the Pebble Beach. The atmosphere was lovely, perfect for a relaxing evening. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, and everything I tried was incredible. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, it was a delightful dinner and I’d definitely recommend The Pebble Beach to anyone looking for a quality meal in a pleasant setting.

I had a great time when I came to Pebble Beach earlier this month with my partner, the food and the staff were both amazing! We were given the option to finish our drinks sat outside with blankets taking in the great view of the coastline, couldn’t recommend enough!

We visit a lot whether it be just for a drink or for lunch or dinner, Today we popped in for lunch and sat on the terrace. The service was appalling, We had to ask for drinks after being sat there for 30 minutes, then had to ask for them to take our food order, food eventually arrived Without any cutlery, waited A few minutes, expecting someone to come back, Nobody appeared. We then went and got cutlery ourselves. Asked for Chili oil ( As advertised on the menu) To be told by one of the waiters that they only had Tabasco sauce for pizzas?! The fries were cold and a very small portion! Wanted some more drinks, Asked for a menu, No one came back with the menu, so we got up and ordered our drinks At the garden bar, We actually told the tap behind the bar we were ordering ourselves as we couldn’t get any service from any of the waiters! Needless to say, waited another half an hour. There were tons of staff on, but no one serving! Very disappointed. We had booked a tribute night, which we have now cancelled.

Really liked the sea view winter lodge great views. Lovely meal as usual absolutely delicious. Great service friendly staff from the minute you enter. The Menu Du Jour was a very good price.

Nice setting with friendly and attentive service but the cost was unbelievably over the top for what it was. Prices akin to fine dining which this was definitely not. Bread ‘board’ - small bits of sourdough that had been pre cut so was on the stiff side when served. Extra cost for balsamic and olive oil - 100% not olive oil - looked and tasted like melted wax! Calamari for £12 - the tiniest portion and very average taste. Mains of Hake were tasty and ok portion size but should be for £25 each with no carbs included. The ‘included’ side of vegetables was clearly from a bag of mixed frozen veg with some added mange tout. Chocolate brownie for dessert - again cutting cost as was actually chocolate cake (flour is cheaper than melted chocolate) rather than brownie. Cheese board was generous and tasty. Wine was nice but again - crazy expensive for low/mid range option. Small things that could have easily been changed to make it ‘worth it’! Don’t mind paying if good. Probably won’t return for dinner.

Summer afternoon, board outside advertising 2 4 1 cocktails from 5 till 6 every day enticed us in . Four friends meeting for a catch up with the benefit of the cocktail offer . After waiting 15 minutes for someone to serve us we were told the board outside was incorrect and we could have 25% off drinks . We were miffed the advertising was misleading and incorrect. We ordered our cocktails and 40 minutes later still no show ! Absolutely awful service. We had been to Pebbles previously and had awful service but held out hope it would be different! NO ! Spoke to manager who agreed she would put through one round of 4 drinks for 2 people but not 2 cocktails each . False advertising! Will not be returning and we are locals !

No deigning Pebble Beach & Sunset Bar is in a great spot overlooking the coastline. It was an impromptu stop for a late lunch on a Saturday and we had a warm welcome from the staff who organised a larger table for us to sit at (group of 8). Prices are on the high side here. Our food orders had mixed reviews around the table , the paninis whilst tasty were very thin (both bread and filling) and a bit poor for the price (£8.95), however, some of the small plates (Falafel) were good. The crispy duck salad (£10.95) was tiny portion, a rip off in our view. Drinks (cocktails, beers & soft) all well served and ice cold, just what we needed after our walk!

We hired the terrace with marquee for our wedding/anniversary party and had a fantastic time! Emma was incredibly helpful with the organisation of everything. The buffet food, drinks and service were excellent. The Pebble Beach Team is very professional, kind and attentive. The atmosphere and the location are great for a private party with stunning sea view. We can also highly recommend Royce Cronin for live music. He contributed so much to the evening and had everyone up dancing at the first song. We will definitely visit again! Thanks R & J

We visited this stunning restaurant for the second time after visiting last year and must say if anything the service is even better and the roast beef was outrageously good again.Many thanks for another wonderful lunch.

Well done to the Pebble Beach for weathering the storm. This pretty sea-side restaurant started as a French-inspired, fish restaurant. Over recent difficult years, it has worked hard to stay afloat; adding covid-suitable space, and more flexible menus. Inevitably some locals have feared losing a top class restaurant. At one time during these adjustment, I lamented the absence of vegetables with a main course. However, today I enjoyed a superb meal (3-course Menu du Jour £26.95) here, including vegetables, and I look forward to returning at the first opportunity! Service is now more casual but the main attractions: - the menu, cooking, preentation are all in evidence - bon appetit!

Had such a great Sunday roast I visited again with a friend, we were very impressed with the food and service- nothing too much trouble.

Having booked into the restaurant as the weather was looking poor, they were very accommodating on the day that turned out sunny and found us a table in the Winter Lodge instead. Our 3 generation party of 6 were all very happy with our meals, and the service was efficient and friendly. Overall a lovely experience.

We had a perfect stay, evening meal and breakfast for 11 in the apartment. My wife's 60th birthday and mother's day celebrations.

We found this restaurant while out for a walk the end of last year and called in for lunch which was lovely. We returned today for a Mother’s Day lunch, I received a copy of the menu a couple of weeks ago so spent time reading through what was a superb choice of options awaiting us. On arrival we were greeted warmly and with lots of smiles, the restaurant has a young and very professional team, nothing was too much for them and our table spotlessly clean. The food was superb, we had very clean plates. We are looking at booking a table for steak night which sounds good and based on my roast beef today the steaks should be very good. The restaurant is on the beach, has a large open air area so we are also looking at going to investigate this during the summer. My only down side is the car park, it is small and being a popular restaurant always busy. We have a blue badge due to a member of my family having issues walking and have not found a disabled parking space possibly because it was already taken so I have to drop the person at the front door which causes possible back-up of traffic and then drive to a council car park which is a short walk away and has some but not many disabled parking spaces but gets busy in the summer. Thank you Pebble Beach for a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon with fantastic food.

Celebrated Mother’s Day with the special menu. We were made to feel very welcome. Food orders were taken promptly and the food was served surprisingly quickly. Every single course was absolutely excellent. Not only did it taste splendid but it was also special to look at, e.g. edible flowers, special tree biscuits etc. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here last night for our anniversary . First it took us an hour to park in the very small car park . Managed to squeeze in a space eventually. Got to the room hubby instantly picked up on the window we’re not losing properly and letting in cold air . Told the manager and some repair man came over to us not even looked at the window just said it an easterly wind . Maybe so but it was freezing and blowing through the window it wouldn’t shut luckily the heating was on . The shower was Luke warm ended up having a bath. The old coffee machine if you can call it that dribbled out warm water took an eternity to get even half a cup couldn't see a kettle in the room. Then after going for a very expensive meal costing is £135 for food that I could of got from a beefeater much cheaper , I questioned the bill as be careful they add a 10% service charge , I asked that it be taken off soo we paid £119 . Still extortionate in our view. Then having the waitress asking us if we’d finished our meal when we were still eating , no excuse me when putting the food down just plonked on the table and was quite cold in the restaurant. Went back to our room and come 11 o’clock when we just dropping off to sleep a couple next room we’re laughing and shouting banging doors , then a lady came out of a adjacent room and banged on there door told them to be quiet. 1.30 am . We’re not ones to moan but when they say this is a 5* hotel /restaurant we expect more from the rooms and the food was just ok def not 5* need up dating and repairs and a larger car park to make this a 5* it’s a 3* at present. Would I stay here gain . No

Fabulous anniversary meal for Valentines night. Baked camembert starter with soda bread, lamb shank, cooked to perfection. The desserts were absolutely amazing, all hand made and delicious. Highly recommend. Staff so attentive, thank you to Emily and Scarlett in particular.
