A low-grade pub that serves the community. A popular place for singletons. Bar Service was excellent. Drink prices were average.

We had sunday lunch wasn't impressed nearly eaten our lunch before veg camehaving asked twice first time we been out for sunday lunch and had to pay extra for mashed potatoes wouldn't recommend it

Nice, friendly local pub. Called in with the Mrs after a trip out to Matlock. Would probably go again, a downside is they only sold Nobby's nuts and I'm more a kp fan

Attend for quiz night on a Thursday. Martin, the quiz leader, is excellent. Very fun night.

Went to a charity thing here. Was absolutely fabulous. Live bands, djs, raffle. . Was one of the best places I've been to in a long time.

Just got to add was well happy with prises bought me misses double gardens pink wid lemonade for £3.40 bargain get in I had double jack n coke for same prize usually pay £5 more. Great prices, £3.40 for a double smirnoff vodka and coke 😲 and they don't charge extra for lime in a vodka lime and lemonade either..bonus. Great atmosphere 👌 and staff are really nice too.

A cute and quaint little pub. Quite small but sticking with the traditional English pub feel. Front beer garden pleasent enough just a shame its looking onto the main road but this isn't exactly something that can be changed.

Very sociable and very good bar staff who make you feel welcome

We decided to stop in here as its recently had a complete do over and looked great from the outside. There is a good range of drinks on offer and the bar staff and the regulars were friendly. The fire was going which gave the pub a cosy feel and there are a selection of games (like dominos) to play if you would like. I would happily recommend this pub to anyone and we will be back soon.

Lovely pub and fantastic outdoor area for families, the kids can run off steam in the large garden and play area. 😁 below is the nearly refurbished peacock inn.it had a lot of work done and it's looking much smarter.

Good pub to have a walk to with dog, beer garden on back or seating on front facing chatsworth road, ideal for a beer and people watching. Friendly staff and good deals on spirits. Wood burner makes snug cosy in winter.
