Booked out the downstairs bars for an all day business meeting and received great service form all the team. Good buffet, polite and attentive staff and a really decent atmosphere upstairs afterwards for a few beers - great venue

Quick lunch while walking about, chose this based on good reviews, and it exceeded expectations. Lunch special includes a pint and both our choices were excellent. Good service and a comfortable room.

Liking their special deal £15 for a pint plus burger and chips although the chicken burger was good rather than excellent. Portion of chips was on the small side but beer was good

The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. There weren't many vegetarian options, but we were very happy with our gnocchi, pakora and chips.

I used to use this place a lot when I worked nearby so knew it well. I visited it yesterday to have Xmas drinks with a mate. The service as ever was fantastic. Tomo my server would come over and offer me another pint when he saw my drink was low and when we decided to eat we were served by a lovely young girl whose name I can’t recall. The food was great as well the Fullers beers. The place is on three levels. The main bar is split in two levels and has lots of TV screens showing a variety of sports with a dining area on a slightly lower leveland has a lovely open, light feeling to the place. Downstairs is an inviting smaller bar with leather sofas and big TV screens for more sports. As usual, the place was very busy especially after 5pm but service was fast and efficient. Totally recommend this for group drinks or just a solo drink. It was great to be back and hope to visit again soon.

Decent pub with a good selection of beers. Was absolutely rammed early Thursday evening, with a bit of a scrum of a scrum at the bar but the serving team coped well. Noisy but it was thirsty Thursday.

Amazing Football evening. We did not think it would work and the pub was really full. However the manger gave us a private lounge solely for the family. It was amazing. Sincere thanks for a great night out. Food and drinks were lovely. You really made it for us.

There is a great menu but unfortunately it is not served as listed. Although the staff try to be super helpful when I ordered a steak pie and was assured it would be beef I discovered it to be chicken and bacon! This type of misservice has happened too often here so I will not be returning as there are plenty of alternatives close by.

NOT a Sports Bar. Big bluff on web site. Not true. Play music before during and immediately after game. No respect for timing. Start late miss KOs and generally terrible sports coverage. If you are looking for sports don’t come here. Far better places close and far. This is NOT a sports bar in The City.

Came for a football match, which staff swiftly put on one of the screens for me. Very reasonably priced drinks for the area & a great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.

Yet again we went to our favourite place to meet some friends for lunch. And what a great time we had. A lady called Ugne looked after our very demanding table with such ease and in a fun way. She was FIRE! Thanks again Ugne we look forward to seeing you and the other members of staff soon.

After not being able to book anywhere for the semi final of the Euro's, we stumbled across this pub which had bookings, and asked for the table infront of the big screen (we had seen photos online). When it came to it, it turns out it was a private room! The room was a good size, excellent TV screen, fantastic speakers to which you could switch between music and the TV. The staff were so attentive (shout out to Sophie in particular), always made sure we were looked after, the chips were amazing! The beer selection was brilliant. The nicest gesture was that after the semi final, the pub actually contacted us and asked if we would like it for the final. Aside from the result it was a great night, and I am so pleased we found a place that gave brilliant memories from the Euro's. I will definatley be booking in the future!!

Hice una reserva aquí para 18 personas para bebidas cumpleaños antes de ir a las réflex el sábado pasado. El proceso de reserva era tan fácil e incluso me permitió la restitución del depósito en vez de intentar comprenderlo en una ficha bar para 18! La decoración es muy bonita y acogedora, la música era buena y en un buen nivel para poder hablar, pero también crear una animación. Las bebidas estaban bien hechas y a un precio razonable y los nachos fuente compartir era increíble! La mejor parte fue el personal que hizo por encima y más allá desde el momento en que llegamos allí. Gracias a Miguel Ángel y Francesco que era extremadamente servicial y amable. Sin duda lo recomendaría para bebidas en la ciudad y reserva para grupos más grandes. Volveré muy pronto!

Met with some friends last week. The pub had table by the tv screens and all set up. The drinks were a good price and the food was good too. The service was excellent and they were very accommodating throughout the 6 hours we were there. Worth a visit and near St. Paul’s cathedral.

Visited this Fullers pub on a weekday evening, circa 9.00 pm, and found it relatively quiet, so getting a table was easy.

Right in the heart of the Old City not far from St Paul's Cathedral, this is a typical London pub. It's run by Fullers, so it has a good variety of draught beers. The cricket theme is fun. There's lots of space upstairs and more seating downstairs with its own bar. The service is quick and friendly, the prices are reasonable for central London.

We often have our work drinks here. The service at the bar is quick and there are a couple of areas that can be reserved for groups. Normally quite busy which helps to create some atmosphere. A good typical city pub.

Let's be clear this is a good pub but I really think it poor form to advertise my team will be shown on TV , ( we also rang earlier in the day) and on arrival found it was not. We had travelled from different points to meet at the PE and then had to quickly move on to another venue.No problem if you don't want to show a particular game but please don't advertise your are and then don't. The management were polite but unhelpful and my confidence in the establishment is gone.Shame as it is a good and proper pub with great Fullers.

Reserved a small area upstairs for a friends 50th Birthday, area was all ready for when we arrived just had drinks staff were all friendly and welcoming and an extremely well run pub even when its packed staff behind the bar are fast and efficient acknowledging people when waiting very impressed and made our evening so much fun thanks once again !!!!!

Nice beer, plenty of space but the music is so awful and so loud it's like they're trying to drive everyone away.

After working hours the place seemed to fill up very quickly. Good service, nice beer selection and a great atmosphere. For my fellow women, it seemed to be mainly males attending this establishment, but this did not detract from the atmosphere one way or the other. The other thing I found interesting about visiting London, is that it is completely acceptable to go outside of the pub and have your beer in the lane.

This used to be a regular before we moved offices about six years ago. I'm pleased to say that this is still a pleasant place for an after work drink.A mid-sized fairly modern pub (i.e. not an old fashioned pub) that shows some sports (a lot of cricket as the name suggests!), with moderately priced (for London!) drinks and friendly staff.

Headed downstairs to a free table away from the crowds upstairs, and happy to be out of a downpour outside. Ordered some small plates to share and chips to soak up the G+Ts!

I've had lunch here a couple of times - work just around the corner. Menu is a little limited and could do with updating and definitely needs more variety. In all honesty wouldn't eat here again - too many other good pubs with great food.

Went there to watch a football game for the Euro 2016 and we managed to get a table in front of one of many tv screens (it can become pretty packed so a table is always nice). We had couple beers (price is alright compare to other pubs) and share 2 platters: Charcuterie and Mini-Burgers both fine food for a pub! Friendly staff and good atmosphere in the pub.

I went there twice with business colleagues. Depending on how busy it is, it can take a while to get served. If you want to put everything onto a tab, I recommend that you go downstairs. Hopefully there will be somebody there who can get you drinks and order food for you. If not, you have to go upstairs and tell them that you are sitting down below. The menu has a number of pub classics and they are reasonably priced. They also don't take too long to arrive. Worth a visit for a quick, informal pub lunch with friends or good colleagues.

The Pav" is local to my place of work, and I have been coming here since the early nineties, so there have been quite a few lunchtime and after work visits.It is the same as all the other pubs in the area, maybe selling a larger selection of lager beer (which tastes the same anyway). The food is the same as well! I sometimes imagine there is a central kitchen underneath Bow Church that provides food for this place, Williamson's, Jamies, The Fine Line, etc., etc...It's pricey, but so are the rest. Maybe they all share the same accounting system too.

We ate here on a Saturday afternoon, the pub was nearly empty. Staff were friendly, there's a reasonable choice of ales available in this Fullers pub. Not a massive selection on the menu and fairly expensive at that. Was ok but wouldn't go again.

Nice to have 2 levels (the lower ground floor is usefully air-conditioned, too. Serves a decent range of beers/drinks and the pretty standard standard pub fare. Not worth a special visit but located at the very bottom of Watling St has some geographical interest and it's a lot less snobby than many of the city bars.

We had drinks out the front in the sunshine, with a great view of St Paul's cathedrial, prices are reasonable for the area and we got served quickly, food looked good although we didn't eat ourselves

This is a decent pub near St. Pauls. There are so many pubs the rating depends on what you want. The food is okay but kind of simple and chainy. If you are meeting for post work drinks and some snacks it is a great place and it is always heaving. If you are a pub purist, there are some great places within 100 ft. If you are looking for good food or a nice night out, it won't work. Buzzy, loud, busy city joint.

Upon entering, first impressions were good - relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, decent menu and good choice of drinks.It was a little quieter than other pubs in the area, which is why we were drawn to it, we were looking for somewhere to chill out and have a good natter.My friend and I decided to make ourselves comfy on the sofas in the lower end of the bar to the left. After finishing a pretty tasty meals, my friend's eye was drawn to a spot on the carpet, as I tried to see what she was looking at, to my horror I saw a mouse dash across the floor!!Grabbing our drinks and rushing to the bar, we informed the barman, who seemed to take the whole ordeal in his stride like it was nothing surprising or unusual! After a few minutes of looking for the mouse, he disappeared into the back and another mouse ran across the floor.Needless to say, we left in a bit of a hurry and won't be going back any time soon!

The pub has a good choice of beer, and very good service at the bar. This for me distinguishes this from other venues in same area.The sports coverage is ok. If you are in the mood for a raucous viewing of a game you are interested in, then this is NOT the venue. However if you are happy to keep an eye on a game, and chat away, like at live cricket for which this place is named, then that is good for you.But as a general eating drinking place in the heart of the city, great.

Popped in with some colleagues for a meal on a Friday. The pub was busy upstairs but there was seating available downstairs. The server was very friendly, but what stuck with us was the quality of the food and the speed of the service. My fish was a nice size, in fact every meal looked great (the others had burgers) very impressed- Good pub food.

No table service, really crowded. We went for a soccer game, sound was bad, tv small and badly disposed on the wall. I had a massive bone in my burger which nearly cracked a tooth. The waiter put my beer on the floor, barely apologised and wasnt offered anything ... Worst bar in the saint paul area.

Visited this pub recently for a networking event. The downstairs "basement bar" had been privately hired for our group. The bar was well stocked with good wine by the glass, which kept the girls and I happy. I was very impressed with the canapés and nibbles provided- particularly the scotch eggs which I presume were home-made. I will be looking to hire this area for an event in the near future and would fully recommend it to anyone else looking for a private spot for work drinks or celebrations.

Nice and friendly pub. I visited for watching the game between Portugal and Sweden and did enjoy but the drinks and the food. Even though it was crowded, the staff managed to get food out in reasonable time. Typical pub food is below 10 GBP and a pint was some 4 GBP.

Sat outside on lovely Sat afternoon. Reported that there was still broken glasses under table but nothing done. Why weren't the seating areas checked by manager at end of night or in morning, this was at 2pm. Went to toilet and no soap. Looks like managers not doing their job properly.

As a London Pride fanatic I stopped off at this Fullers pub yesterday on my way home and what a disappointment it was. The beer was ok but I decided to order food and how I wish I hadn't bothered. I don't expect a pub to serve 'haute' cuisine as much as I dont expect a top restaurant to have a selection of draught beers, but this was basic fayre at it's most awful. I ordered a falafel burger and absolutely everything on my plate was out of the freezer, thrown together and served by the most miserable waitress in London. Never again, infact it's put me off going in another Fullers pub altogether if this is the rubbish they are happy to serve their customers
