exellent service, really welcoming, and food was exellent, and made an effort with our puppy

This place seems nice, with a beach view and a selection of food and drinks,but i waited quite a while for takeaway chips when there is a sign outside saying ‘fresh and ready to eat’ or somewhere along those lines. They charged £3.50 for a box of takeaway chips when there were hardly any chips, you could see the bottom of the box, although it is a beachfront cafe and some people may disagree, i am not coming here again. This was a total scam.

Nice friendly staff and great tasting food

Decent grub and coffee, lots of menu choice. Overlooks beach. Lovely friendly service. Will use next time instead of booking the hotels breakfast.

Poor quality food and VERY overpriced. It looked the most appealing place and it certainly wasn’t the best choice. Plenty of better places locally

Amazing Fish and Chips; crispy fish, hot chips

Great fish and chips great location!

All of the staff were extremely lovely! We also asked for something slightly off menu a ‘a biscoff hot chocolate with whipped cream and flake’. They made it and it was one of the best hot drinks we’ve ever had at the beach. Special thank you to Michelle for making it and even offering us biscoff crumbs to put on top! 5 star service!

Stopped off after a quick visit to the beach with the dog and had hot drinks/food and the most awesome biscoffi waffle for pudding. Staff are friendly and welcoming (sorry about being slobbered by our St Bernard!)

popped in yesterday for a bite to eat, went for a 1/4 lb cheeseburger cost me £8 and was given a tasteless cold waste of money, bun was dry , no idea what the cheese was supposed to be as it tasted of nothing would have complained but thought easier just to walk out and definetly wont be going back, big thumbs down from me

Perfect place to pick up an ice cream or fish and chips over looking the sea. Toilets available on site. Reasonably priced for food, drinks etc. Friendly staff. Dogs welcome. Not a lot of seating available inside but plenty outside

Our visit to this cafe was lovely. The view was fab! Savoury food and sweet stuff was delicious! If we can to Barmouth again would definitely eat here. 👍

One of the expensive cafes here, value supermarket food, Nescafe coffee is definitely not Nescafe. Service with teenagers...school hols, cheap labour high profits, this is my honest review, I say as I see.

I love this cafe so much the food is so lush and staff are really chatty and very kind I would allways come back for more lush food it's one of the best places in barmouth can't wait to come back again to eat lush food going to miss the jacket potato it was one of the best ones iv never had I'd definitely say 100% fantastic and the milk shake oh my goodness it was like heven in my mouth and would like to say thank you for having us and making us feel welcome hope to see u all soon xx

First stop in town on arrival, great service and fabulous hot chocolate. Nice and clean and menu prices are reasonable

Food was fantastic I had the dubble cheese burger and my wife had jacket potato with coronation chicken so good the staff was so friendly and very chatty

Nice little beach cafe. It's clean, obviously geared up for people coming off the beach, (chairs and tables easily wipeable) . The coloured chairs add a fun look to the place. All the tables have numbers on them which makes life easier. On the occasion we were there the WiFi was a bit dodgy which was hindering card payments. But the lady was very apologetic and polite. I dont see the place getting a Michelin star anytime soon, but the staff were polite, friendly and efficient and the food was in abundance and tasty at a reasonable price.

You have to pay to use the bathroom and everything is super expensive

Lovely place. Very welcoming and friendly staff, very helpful. Great food and reasonably priced. Located just across the road from the beach and about 50 metres from the big car park. Will definitely visit again. My 11 year old likes it and has a similar name to one of the staff members, which she likes too. 👍👍👍👍👍

Spicy loads fries to the rescue on a drizzly day in February. So good! Great, friendly service.

Wir haben uns ein Eis gegönnt, welches sehr gut war und die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist eher kühl. Sporadische Einrichtung, es kommt keine Gemütlichkeit auf.

We didn't eat here as it was very busy and the food was pricey. However we ordered some icecream and the staff were lovely and chatty and didn't have any problems. I wouldn't pay the prices for fish and chips tho!

This was ok. It filled a hole or 14 as there were quite a few of us including children and we we needed to eat. It was conveniently on our path and could quickly seat us as a large group, so they were very hospitable. For a fairly famous seaside town I was hoping some knock out fish & chips especially for the price (£12 for their special which includes bread/butter and a drink). The meal was ok but I thought it was a bit meagre portions for the price and the cost of a few chips. I left feeling it was a bit of a tourist trap. The kids enjoyed it and they had a good selection of ice creams too. Apparently the Mermaid or the Dolphin are where we should have gone for the fish and chips but we wanted a walk along the prom.

Lovely place though expensive six small portions of chips six drinks £30 Holy smokes !!!

The food tastes amazing, the staff are really kind, and some of them have a good sense of humour.

This place has gone downhill . Very limited food choice and way overpriced . Will never set foot in this place again . Advise to pass this place by . Recommend the lunchbox in the high street .

Very happy with service and food was excellent

The place has improved since my last visit which was 2020. Would have gone in last year but it was closed. We go here every year while on holiday in Wales. Kind of a tradition after crabbing in the harbour. Unlike the last few years the fish looked and tasted fresh not frozen. Table servers were a little off putting as they questioned what table we ordered for even though we ordered using the table we were sat at. Think they needed to learn how the numbers on the tables work. Other wise it was good there. We were pleased, well fed and cafinated.

Basic but great food at a decent price - all freshly made

Amazing quality food and ice cream. But more importantly the owners exceeded every expectation anyone could have in customer service! They were both so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They treated our kids to freebies and were genuinely just lovely people! Can not recommend highly enough!

My daughter accidentally left her phone here a very nice man named Kevin answered it and took time out of his own day to post the phone back to me, absolutely fantastic place and people highly recommend

We sat outside and waited quite a time for our food only to discover someone sitting inside had claimed our order. Once the manager found out he couldn't have been more apologetic. Our order was recooked and delivered promptly with more apologies. The fish was probably the freshest I have ever tasted. I would certainly consider eating here again.

Wish I could give no star. Absolutely shocking. Told 20 min wait 50 mins later food arrived. Kids portion next to nothing, asked for more chips never arrived. Greasy horrible burger and the wife's praun sandwich, disgusting. With plenty of other places to go I suggest to everyone to go elsewhere

Absolutely disgusting service Very unprofessional was told maximum of 30mins wait for breakfast 1hour later still no breakfast would of helped them catch it if id have known. I am not going back to this cafe again.

Awful experience my first time here staff and manager were rude .. they were rude to customers argumentative... told us to get out ... gave us dirty looks very hostile behaviour ended up going to the little mermaid where they were fabolous and service was grand ....plz avoid the pavillion they all need replacing staff are racists...

Shocking experience Staff were rude. Shouting at customers, telling them to get out of cafe. I felt sorry for the customers!
