This is a wee gem a little bit out from the city centre. I met Patricia herself this morning! She and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Bright quayside cafe with space for yourself and yet attentive staff. I had porridge which was great and the coffee was divine. I hope to be back!

Lovely place for a breakfast in Derry. Owners are super kind and make you feel home. We stayed 2 days in Derry, and that was our best meal so far, will definitely come back! If you are looking for something traditional, go big and order their breakfast with sausage, bacon, egg, tomato and black pudding. All fresh and made to order. You will leave full and happy! If you have space left, get probably the best sausage you'll have in your life, and ask one portion of their homenade sweet chili sauce to eat with it, that's sooooo delicious! Don't leave without eating one (or two) of their homemade scones, super light, fluffly and moist! I can tell you, that's gonna be difficult to eat just one.

A lovely welcoming coffee shop located on Derry's beautiful riverfront. Try coffee and a freshly baked cake - especially Patricia's famous homemade scones! The lemon cake is also wonderful. Or enjoy a full breakfast or hearty lunch. Staff are warm and friendly and there is always a great atmosphere in this bustling Derry favourite. Well worth a visit!

Two teas and two scones were £13.40! Pay extra for butter and for jam. You queue at the counter and carry your tray to your table. Staff seem confused- didn’t understand one scone without jam and one with- took away both jams after first adding them without being asked. Who is charged for butter when they order a scone!

Such a little gem, and I got to meet the owner Patricia herself 😊. Wonderful cafe, tasty food, friendly service, cheerful even when busy, great portions and a fabulous view over the river. I had a chicken, bacon and cheese panini with a latte and a homemade sausage roll to takeaway. I don’t eat sweet things but the cakes and treats looked beautiful, very fancy!

This cafe charges ridiculous prices for food. One day you could be charged £5 for a ham salad sandwich the next it could be £6.50. They seem to charge for each filling separately. Not to mention how unfriendly and ignorant Ailish is when serving at the till. Will lose alot of business from offices around the area due to their rude manner and overpriced food.

Visited for lunch, husband ordered food and coffees and at the till he added a slice of Toast to our order. He got ‘told off’ for not ordering this at the bottom counter where the food order was taken. My husband was embarrassed standing in a queue of people, being scolded, for forgetting to order ‘A Slice of Toast’ sooner. The toast arrived to our table - on a plate, with no knife and no butter, no chance of an offer of some jam or marmalade? Staff were rude, rushed, and nervous. I found it ironic that there is a sign on the wall saying ‘family are friends and friends are like family!’ The home bakes are always lovely, but I did not feel welcome at all and will not likely return. If you are not a well known frequent customer, known by name, to the staff, you do not feel welcome.

What a friendly, clean and welcoming place to visit. I have been in town for the past 2 weeks with my husband (who's sailing on one of the Clipper boats), family and friends. I have visited Patricia's on numerous occasions during the past 2 weeks and have always felt welcomed by both staff and their customers. The cooked breakfast was beautiful, as were the freshly made sandwiches and delicious cakes.

I visited Patricia's recently. The coffee, decaff and regular, was good and the selection of cakes and scones was amazing. We chose strawberry and white chocolate and they tasted so good. The staff were very helpful. We chose to sit outside with a lovely view of the river. It was a little bit chilly but it was quite busy, warm, and unventilated inside and we didn't want to take any covid risks. Will be back to try some different scones, treacle and walnut looked very inviting.

It was a warm sunny day and the setting was stunning sitting outside at Patricias Coffee House overlooking the Foyle. It was very busy and unfortunately there was few fillings left for sandwiches. I resorted to a plain ham and chicken and it was nice. Staff were very efficient. The young girl clearing tables was very pleasent and very attentive to cleaning every chair and table after use. Worth a return visit

Super convenient for a walk up the quay. Unfortunately the food and drink is overpriced for what you get. The staff were so rude to everyone of us being a group of 5. They seemed like they just wanted us in and out as soon as possible lifting plates and cups before half of us had even finished. Overheard staff talking about customers - wouldn’t go back not even for a drink

Visited the cafe for coffee & cake. A lady from America asked if there was nuts in a particular cake ……..the staff member was unsure……..she immediately went to a folder which had the ingredients of the cakes in it & informed the customer that unfortunately it did contain nuts………I had never witnessed this before in a cafe but I was delighted to see such diligence by a staff member before which is to be commended. Our coffee & cake was delicious & the staff were all very welcoming. Cafe was clean & tidy……..reasonably priced for what we received.

This looks lovely and has a nice vibe. The food however was disappointing. The full breakfast consisted of reheated, shrivelled meat. The pancakes were dry and cold and burnt. The coffee was decent but generally we were very disappointed, waste of money I’m afraid.
