Pasta Nostra in Islington

Cuando un restaurante dice que su ethos es “Excelencia Sin Complicaciones” y ofrece exactamente eso, usted ha encontrado algo muy especial. Añada a eso la cálida bienvenida del propietario y su equipo y usted está en un ganador. Una noche familiar en Pasta Nostra fue excepcional. No te dejes llevar por la sencillez del menú, todo estaba delicioso y puedes saborear el amor que se siente en cada plato. Compartimos todo el estilo familiar Cichetti (aperitivos italianos) y disfrutamos mucho de cada uno de ellos. Como otros han dicho, el Focaccia es extraordinariamente bueno, así que no te lo pierdas. Las pastas estaban deliciosas y ‘manos a la obra’ puedo decir que mi Tagliolini de carbón con langostinos reales fue el mejor plato de pasta que he probado en un restaurante! Si llegas a Dolci/Dessert, el Cannolo con ricota y pistacho fue la perfección, especialmente con un lado de su Gelato de Naranja! Así que mi recomendación es ir, comer y disfrutar - Buon Apetito!

Fantástica pasta y comida italiana en general en este lugar sencillo en Old Street. Una dura competencia en Londres por una buena pasta, pero este lugar está ahí arriba. La focaccia (a menudo no se hace muy bien) era soberbia, al igual que el arancino. Cocina abierta al restaurante, con una zona de bar fresco arriba y algunos asientos al aire libre cuando el tiempo lo permite. No es el lugar más elegante, ni pretende serlo, pero entrega pasta de calidad. Depende de qué ambiente quieras, pero he disfrutado mucho de cada visita y recomendaría para una noche de cita casual, cenar solo o lo más adecuado comer con amigos.

Mi hijo y yo disfrutamos de una comida encantadora aquí. Tuvimos una cálida bienvenida y un servicio amable. La comida era muy agradable, con porciones de tamaño sensato. Volveremos si en la zona de nuevo.

Third year in a row I’ve been for my birthday dinner with friends - the food is delicious and the staff always go out of their way to make it really special - we absolutely love it here, the best atmosphere !

I had the pleasure of visiting Pasta Nostra last night for a special celebration with my partner. The experience was nothing short of amazing! The pasta surpassed all expectations; it's a contender for the best I've ever had. The staff at Pasta Nostra were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. We're already eagerly anticipating our next visit, and I highly recommend trying the tonnarelli – it's guaranteed to blow your mind!

We came her for my girlfriends birthday, all the staff were amazing, all the food was delicious. There were plenty of vegetarian options for me and my girlfriend had a really tasty beef pasta dish. On top of all this when I made the booking I ticked that it was for a birthday and the staff gave us a dessert on the house with a candle for my girlfriends birthday which was such a nice touch. Brilliant place, would highly reccomend!

We ordered a selection of starters, mains and desserts - all delicious - good wines and service too.

I had a wonderful meal here last Friday. I had the beef shin was had been pre-cooked for 12 hours along with Mafalde pasta. It was delicious and at a good price. I will definitely be going back here!

We were served by Alexander. He was welcoming from the start and service was amazing throughout! Thank you so much for a great night ❤️ We were out for my partners birthday and given complementary proseccos to celebrate. I'm a coeliac and there was plenty of choice for me. The sangria is lovely, the limoncello is great quality, and the gelato is to die for! Alexander also recommended a local bar for us to visit on our way to junkyard golf. Ok but probably wouldn’t return. Nice setting and atmosphere. Staff nice. Food was a bit disappointing. Starters were quite nice but main pasta dish I had was quite bland (crab linguine). The pasta itself is nice and fresh just the rest of dish very watery and bland. Really forgettable and not worth £20. Waitress offered our table Parmesan and black pepper when we only had a few mouthfuls left so perhaps that might have improved it.

Was in London for a meeting and this place wasn’t too far from my hotel. Managed to grab a table outside. Food was amazing. Well seasoned and a lot of it. Live music was great too. Staff were super helpful and polite.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Especially when you don't expect anything special. It was just a coincidence that ended up in this fine Italian restaurant. Every single one in our party adored the food that was served. It was all very tasteful and well prepared. We enjoyed every minute of it. And don't forget to order your desert as well! Loved it! Great atmosphere, quality fresh ingredients and well prepared food, a very enjoyable experience! Delicious mussels n’duja starter, fab fresh pastas and the lasagna croquettes were great and something different you don’t see anywhere! Service was very efficient and friendly with our waitress until the male waiter took over the floor then it wasn’t so attentive and as we waited a long time for the dessert order to be taken we just gave up on it and left as we were only out for a casual weekday meal. However we will be back as everything else was on point and still deserve a 5/5! Great addition to Leigh’s Broadway!

The staff was friendly and nice, and the place was good and informal. Unfortunately, the whole place smelled of food, I guess the kitchen ventilation did not work well, and when we left, we smelled like when you enter a chicken cottage. The wine was good, we had a Primitivo, and the starters were ok. Unfortunately, the pasta did not meet our expectations; for a place called “past nostra,” we were expecting something better. The special pasta tortellini with crab was very undercook, and the taste was mainly from the lemon and cream. The other pasta with prawns was completely tasteless. We had to add chilly to give a little flavour. The prawns were definitely Frozen and tasted like rubber. The other two pasta, one with the ragù and the cacio e pepe, were a little better. From an Italian, you can definitely have better pasta somewhere else, and also much cheaper.

A great place for pasta lovers. Unfortunately the time we were in, live music was performed and although we've asked for a quiet corner/table, they put us right under the musicians. When we talked to the manager for an opportunity to move to another table, he asked us if we've been drinking a little bit, in a very sarcastic manner and he told us he never had such a request. Unaccomodating, sarcastic and irritating attitude - from the actual manager. The server was lovely and handled things in a way better manner. To the objectives and actual food, it was very good! Great presantation, fantastic taste, sufficient portion. A satisfying wine menu to pair with thatever you're having. Definetely do go and visit, but be aware of this attitude of that man.

No idea what the others are on about. This little place has great fresh food you can see being made. Polite staff and reasonably priced for the location. Live music and a chilled atmosphere. Recommend.

We were 10 minutes late but despite no crowds at the door and a £128 bill later we were pressured to leave. 90 mins for a table is not enough time to enjoy your setting. We might have spent more. Staff were rude. Italians don't do fast food. This place does. Says it all. Try Cucina instead. They know what they're doing.
