Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Passione Vino If your a lover of Italian wine enjoyed with some amazing Italian food then a visit to Passione Vino is an absolute must. They stock an unbelievable range of wine from finest small Italian wine producers. These you can enjoy on their own or with a charcuterie board , snacks , pasta , and main course dishes. This was our first visit and you can be certain that we will return soon. Passione Vino is situated on Leonard Street in Shoreditch just a ten minute walk from Liverpool Street and Old Street stations. We entered to receive a delightful Italian welcome before being shown to our table. We then took a look around to see shelves from floor to ceiling stocked with Italian wines. But not everything is on this floor because one floor down is a room that could be used for a private function. Then you head to the basement where there is another room alongside the kitchen and toilet. We then took a look at the menu where there is a Charcuterie Board , snacks and some delicious looking pasta and main courses plus a dessert. Once we’d made our choice we then needed a bottle of wine. Our choice was a fruity sensation in the Ginestrone Langhe Nebbiolo 2022 from Conterno Fantino. We started with the Tagliere Misto a fine selection of meats and cheeses , Baccala - ciccheto with creamy dried cod on grilled polenta and the Frittata with turnip tops and washed rind cow’s cheese. It was all delicious and now couldn’t wait for our next course. Now it was time for our main course. My wife and our friend opted for the Bigoli pasta with salted cod in tomato sauce , capers and black olives. For myself I enjoyed an amazing Lasagna with broad beans , speck and smoked cow’s cheese. We the finished with the dessert of Rice and Honey pudding with baked rhubarb that was very creamy but perfectly balanced with the rhubarb. This brought an end to a fabulous evening of Italian food and wine with the team who are very knowledgable and friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit and will definitely be returning myself soon to try more of these fantastic wines. Thank You to all the team and look forward to seeing you again soon. Grazie Mille 🍷.

This is, in theory, a great idea: a small wine shop where passionate staff share their tips and u buy the wine to drink in the bar area of the shop. In practice, it’s just too expensive for what it is. A friendly member of staff did share his tips and gave us a couple of tastings so we could choose. There are no prices listed anywhere. Two of us had a glass of pleasant but unremarkable rose each, shared a small plate of mortadella, 4 slices of brown bread and a little bowl of olives for £41. Even for London (and I’ve been going out in this town for 25 years) that’s expensive. I wouldn’t return. Reading the reviews it sounds like they recently changed their approach to things so encourage them to return to what it was as that’s what drew me there.

We have been to Passione Vino several times but not for a little while. We were quite disappointed in the changes that have occurred. Previous style was the ability to browse the wines yourself, see the price labels, and then return to a cosy back room table to enjoy the wine with a moderate corkage charge (we think it was about 4 or 5 quid. Certainly les than a tenner). This time we found guest tables in front of the wine shelves, so you couldn't browse - no prices, our table was right next to the door (on a bitter winter night) so we got gusts of cold air every time the door opened, and because of the crowd of guest tables in the small wine shop space, people who were coming in to enquire about a table, or wait for their booking were pushing into us or hovering over with their bags sticking out etc. Not the delicious calm experience we were used to in previous times...though it was definitely 'chilled'! We were most shocked by the now 15 quid PER BOTTLE corkage fee and the vagueness of the chap who served us. He didn't know the price of the wines he was suggesting (remember we couldn't go and select our own choices) he then made maths mistakes when adding 2 numbers together, and he also told us that our bottle would be £40 PLUS 15,- when I looked online the wine was £23 off the shelf on Passione Vino's own website - so instead of 38 to drink in he was quoting 55! A 17 quid phantom hike! I called over another member of staff and she corrected that the 40 INCLUDED the 15 corkage = making the bottle 25 not the 23 on the website but much more reasonable. We were not impressed at all. it wasn't the peaceful delightfully different PV of old and we won't be going back. And at 30 quid corkage (we had 2 bottles) they didn't get a tip.

This was my second time visiting Passione Vino and I was nervous it wouldn’t live up to my memory - but it soared past my expectations. I’m not a wine buff by ANY stretch of the imagination, but the staff were so friendly & accommodating, letting us sample a bunch of different options before we decided what to drink. There’s no wine menu so all your trust is placed in their hands which is part of the fun, and there’s zero upselling or nasty surprises when you get the bill (which I was nervous about the first time I came, with no menu to check prices). They have a limited weekly food menu which is super fresh and delicious. Go for the giant charcuterie board, and the pasta has been delightful both times. This is a restaurant run by passionate staff who are proud to share their quality produce. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Deze fantastische Italiaanse wijnzaak annex wijnbar is een bezoek absoluut waard. Loop er niet langs maar strijk neer! Buitengewoon aardig personeel, zeer uitgebreide wijnkaart en per glas te bestellen. Tevens beperkte menukaart. De pasta smaakte zeer goed. Wij komen zeker terug!

I arrived after work when it was still quiet, with a friend. The tables tucked away downstairs are in a really nice setting. We were guided to a lovely bottle of red by a charming man who was very familiar indeed with their offerings, all too happy to assist with our limited set of preferences. The service is friendly and relaxed, but very attentive if appropriate. The wine selection is very wide. We got a touch peckish, and ordered bread with olive oil and balsamic. The quality oil and balsamic were self pour, so no need to worry about drowning your bread and prematurely running out. All in all, a delightful spot

Happened upon this cosy place. Didn't quite know what it was from the look of the frontage. Lady outside explained the concept, and after making dinner reservations elsewhere, we hurried back. Beautifully decorated, with a stunning display of wine. Greeted warmly, and encouraged to look around and choose a comfortable place to enjoy the wine, surroundings. Young lady, made us so welcome and not only helped us choose a wine to our liking, but also gave us some interesting and useful information about organic wines. We also chose a cheese platter, which was incredible. Shame we had dinner reservations, as it was an amazing, unique experience. Can not wait, to return. Grazie mille

Amazing Italian wines - high quality, reasonably priced wines from small producers. Rare finds in today’s supermarket world. Bought a bottle to take away - friendly, knowledgeable advice from someone who was actually listening! No pressure to buy. Go here for the wine alone!

We'd had dinner in Shoreditch and were looking for a cocktail afterwards. The bartender from another establishment recommended Passione Vino, so we went. What a unique space; it was in a row house, with the first room being a small wine store and rooms surrounding that (up and down) being rooms in which you could eat and drink. We found a nice table for four in a residential-style room that felt like an old living room. We ordered a bottle of Italian wine and a meat and cheese platter. Staff were polite although not overly helpful in making a selection. The atmosphere was quiet; there was one other couple in the room. Some louder music would have been a nice addition. Nevertheless, it was a unique spot and a nice place to grab a bottle of wine and catch-up with friends. Would definitely return!

Really not much to say, being totally amazed by the venue, as this place is both exciting and magical for wine lovers. Such a selection of Italian wines with affordable prices, £10 for corkage when enjoyed inside. An amazing ownership, very approachable and always willing to help. I cannot recommend this place enough as per wine provision, not forgetting about exquisite charcuterie selection. Will be returning many, many times!!!

Great selection of Italian wine, very good charcuterie and cheese, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I couldn’t ask for more. I’ve been there a couple of times already to buy wine for a dinner last week and last night to drink a selection of red (the Amarone is amazing!) paired with a delicious charcuterie and cheese board, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!!

This very charming wine shop sells a wide range of Italian wines and spirits. It is quite rustic and very laid-back, the owner is very friendly. Wine prices are not cheap to take away, but they justify the quality. They serve excellent Italian charcuterie and cheese platters. It is the perfect place for nibbles and drinks before a dinner, as the wines prices are quite cheap to drink in, compared to other places where you’d pay the same for bad quality wines. A hidden gem in the Old street area!

Visited one evening on a business event- wine tasting and with antipasti. I learned a lot about the wines. It was just marvellous. Words don't describe how eclectic and interesting this place can be. It looks like a wine shop but it is so much more! In true Italian style we were getting through the evening and it is so relaxed started to get joined by the long term Italian friends of this place who were dining upstairs - the evening all just blends in to a huge italian family night out as everyone just wants to support it for it is too good to lose. It is way-way too good to miss. Not open at weekends. It is that special it doesn't need to.

¡Fabuloso! ! !

Went to La Mela with 6 friends, and we absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, especially my crispy kale, mushrooms, and egg on sourdough. Seriously delicious! My friends were also blown away by the place. I've just moved to the area, and this is definitely going to be my new go-to spot for brunch. The Italian waitress was an absolute gem – super kind, funny, and really made the whole vibe even better with her outgoing personality. The atmosphere was lovely, and I can't wait to go back! Top marks for La Mela!

He estado yendo a Arthur's desde 2002.
