It's a weatherspoons. You know what to expect. Food was good, not too packed when I visited and most important of all, refillable coffee! Staff were friendly.

Met up with a group of old workmates, for lunch & a drink, to catch up with the news. Do so every couple of months or so.

Breakfast here is 100% terrific !

Tables need to be cleaned immediately after use.

Parking good and the food is good too,I will be going again soon.

Had sausages n mash the other night it was awful the potatoes were hard string bits was told its because it's frozen terrible. Also people just refuse to adhere to the non smoking policy outside I was told they should go out the back but smokers are everywhere not a nice experience is my local but now going less and less. Same old foods getting boring now.

By far one of the nicer Wetherspoons

I was there recently. A great location. Nevertheless, I have to mention one negative point, I ordered a steak medium and it was well well done. There is still room for improvement. But otherwise great.

It is a great restaurant and pub but the upstairs is a bit too hot but the garden area has a bit of shade and a lot of sun but I definitely reccomend it

Good typical pub, foods such good value for the money.

Bar operates a bizarre queuing system mostly only one person serving and they seem to be dragged away for other things.

This has been our local now for over 20 years, until recently.3 days ago we ordered the Christmas dinner,you can imagine our disappointment when it came ,the pigs in blankets were hard,the meal was luke warm,the gravy was cold and lumpy,we complained,the manager said we couldn't get a refund,and shortly after we found we had been banned for not eating it,I pity anyone who goes there,it's so poorly run.

A good place for a quick cheap meal. Building is lovely. You know what your getting food wise as same weatherspoons menu, food is cooked well.Daughters kids meal was huge and about £5 from memory. unlimitted tea and coffee refills. Friendly helpful staff.

It's no bad place if you on budget Cheaper than McDonald's or KFC? Get the meal and a drink for under $10 it's not bad can't complain.

I find it incomprehensible that in this day and age, and as a nation of dog lovers and pet owners that this pub does not allow dogs, even in the seated area outside the pub. No sooner than I had sat down with my (very well behaved pooch) outside and a drink, when I was approached by a member of staff who told me that dogs were not welcome and I quote ‘anywhere on the premises including outside’. When I politely asked why I received the standard ‘it’s Wetherspoons policy’ response. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Been coming here at least weekly since it opened and it remains my favourite pub. I normally give this place 5 stars without question due to the super staff, great facilities and warm atmosphere, but a recent trend has brought me to speak out a little. If you are on the mezzanine floor on the quieter nights, you are now often (but not always) told to re-locate downstairs after a certain time, which is getting earlier and earlier. Tonight it was 8:25 pm. All that happens is settled customers feel put out so they leave. We were going to have another drink, but didn't bother as we didn't want to relocate, as did the couple next to us who were also rather put out. Another group left shortly before us after being challenged over their age. I would normally support this, but they were all in their 30s and looked it! I hate to see a poor practice creep into my fave pub, so please have a re-think. Perhaps closing consistently so customers know what to expect? It does feel that certain teams would rather just clear the place out when staff numbers fall and use this as an excuse to do so. Moan over and I will be back, because it is a fabulous pub.

Value for money. Variety of meals, friendly staff, warm pleasant surroundings. Although the heating had broken we still enjoyed our meal.

Best wetherspoons I know, to be honest, best pub I know. The pub has a very warm atmosphere and is never rowdy nor too quiet. The food is good quality for the price.

After we were told there is no room for a group of 12 in Harvester, although the place was empty we searched for a pub nearby. That's how we came to the barn. No issues with welcoming us. Lovely staff and as always, reasobly priced drinks and food.

Only been here during the day around a dozen times , one of the quieter Spoons pubs with an upmarket look to it compared to others I have visited. Food and service fine and the staff not over friendly but professional.

Removed and barred for a shocking 3 months for an incredibly vague reason, something which never occurred I might add. Manager was dismissive and couldn't be bothered to look into the issue any more than throwing us to the curb, told we'd get refunds for what we ordered but hasn't come through as of yet. An appalling experience overall, it's obvious that the place is very poorly run indeed if false accusations leading to a barring are something that can be allowed to occur.

Say what you like about 'Spoons, their fitout and extension of this historic building is impeccable. Lots of intimate and outdoor spaces in what is an expansive pub an restaurant. Having said that,it is best visited when there isn't a crowd in- lunchtime drinks or morning coffee. Park in ASDA next door.

First time back in 40 years. Seemed lovely. Toilets have moved and there's an upstairs.

Took grandchildren for lunch very reasonable price and food good.

Never had any issues with The parsons barn. Service always quick and friendly. Only issue was my steak on my mixed grill was inedible due to being like boot leather which has never been an issue before.

Good looking place but could do with a spruce up it looks scruffy. Food average.

Cosy little place, food was okay. The waitress accidentally spilled boiling hot sauce all over my clothes and burnt my hand. She was very apologetic though.

Nice place and good food. Always busy though, hard to get a seat. You have to table watch and as soon as you see someone standing up to leave, you sit down beside them as they are putting there coat on, bit awkward like but atleast you get a table.

Met some friends here for dinner this week. Service was fantastic, food was great value for money.

I have been here quite a few times. It disappoints me when food comes out faster than clearing the tables and wiping them down before I eat. I do go to other Wetherspoons, and 99% are very clean. Parsons Barn, I think, is looking a bit shabby. But great value for your money.

AVOID THIS BRANCH! Our order duplicated on the app and within 30 seconds my partner went up to the till to cancel one of her burgers, to be told by a member of staff that ‘they’ve already started cooking it so can’t do anything about that’ not one single apology, her attitude was disgusting. Once my partner arrived back at the table we spoke to a ‘manager’ who said they can’t do anything because of the t&c’s on the app but will speak to another manager. Once the manager Anita came over there was still not one apology or concern over our order. To my surprise I had asked if I were to complain about my meal being cold/not right ect and I want a full refund I was told she would not give me one because she knows it was to get my money back for the other meal!!! At this point I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at how pathetic this all is. Surely a free desert or drink could have been a consolation but no, that’s clearly wishful thinking. You’d think during these difficult times we would look out for one another. I have worked in hospitality for 11 years and no way would I speak to treat a customer the way we’ve been treated. My complaint goes beyond the refund but the attitude I received from these staff was absolutely abysmal.

Does not feel or operate like a wetherspoons. It's a really quaint little pub with good pricing, never really very busy, with pleasant staff and good clientele.

Lovely local with great staff and lovely atmosphere. Best Wetherspoons I’ve been to.
