Park Side Cafe in Cardiff

Lovely coffee shop a short stroll from UHW. Small selection of sweet & savoury things to try. Lemon drizzle cake was deliciously moist & tangy. Good coffee & pleasant service. More seating outside than in for dry days.

Overpriced food. Very small portions. Waited ages!! We said soup was inedible because of the amount of pepper used, we were given yogurt to cool it which obviously wouldn’t work and no apology. Apologies given for delay in taking nearly an hour to bring the food!! We had 3 meals , 2 teas and fruit juice.

Lovely place, great service, only a shame that they serve hard lines coffee which is not to my taste.

I was charged £3 65 for a very dry Croissant. When I asked the barista if it came which butter or jam she looked amazed and said that's extra. Extortionate doesn't even cover it!

I am quite sure this is my most visited place in Cardiff, as it's just around a corner from my work place to reach for a good cup of coffee and great choice of pastries! Greatly recommended to visit!

Missing ingredient to a main breakfast dish is just not acceptable for a place that charges premium. No smoked salmon because their supplier has not delivered!! Why can’t u pop to the supermarket next door until your supplies are replenished??

It's a tiny little place but it's gorgeous, with a nice selection of coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as cakes and pastries.

Pleasant cafe close to Heath Park. Limited seating inside but plenty outside. An ideal spot to relax during the summer.

Amazing little cafe, with great selection of sandwiches, cakes & hot drinks. Also small deli section. I ordered a creamy hot chocolate along with a Nutella blondie & a side of lemon drizzle. Both cakes were really moist and tasty. Seating available both inside and out and close access to Heath Park. Dog friendly and there is currently a pizza van run by Ballers which we ordered from (and could eat inside cafe) and they were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend

Popped in following a recommendation after a miserable wet drive from Bristol, ordered 2 dry cappuccinos which were both perfect and shared a sausage roll, which was very tasty, staff were polite and friendly will definitely be back when in the area again. Thank you

£16 for 3 cookies and 1 x tiny sausage roll & a pasty. Cookies were tasty but the savoury food wasn't good at all, both went into the bin.

Disappointed with my experience. Sausage roll was rather unpleasant, gristle in meat and raw pastry underneath. Croissant was raw and wet inside. Staff were quite friendly to regulars that they seem to know but not particularly friendly with myself and my partner unfortunately, when I've been the the past other staff were lovely and food was pleasant, things seem to have gone significantly down hill while prices have increased alot. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back.

Such a gem. Elderflower presse and the focaccias sandwiches are lovely, really hit the spot. Good selection of coffees and cakes too - will definitely be back when in the area

Lovely hot drinks. Food is a bit pricey and inconsistent. Finally filled a gap in the market around here though. Good for a cuppa pre, post or mid stroll around the park!

Found this little gem after a run in the park. Great coffee, cakes and now freshly cooked pizzas to eat in or outside. The staff were lovely too!

No gluten free vegan options. Asked for water for the dog and never received any. It's clean and basic.

Best cortado I've had outside of Spain and a delicious chocolate cookie. They've also got the poshest outside toilet I've ever seen.
