Love this place once you take the trip here you will never go to the supermarket to buy a celebration cake. There are cakes for all occasions they are cheap and extremely delicious 😋 you will not be disappointed you can shop here for birthdays Christmas Easter christenings party's you name it. On average three small cakes can cost as little as £10. Just remember at busy periods like Christmas make sure you go a few weeks early as this place can get extremely busy. I have never been disappointed shopping here and my friends and family are always I'm love with the cakes. The shelf life on the cakes are quite long to so no need to worry.

Cheap cakes. My daughter FaceTimed me and I got shouted at. As I tried to call her back on a normal call I got accused of taking photos. There was no need to speak to me the way the lady did.

Great prices. Massive bag of chocolate mini roles for £2.20. Colin the caterpillar for £1. Can’t complain!

Factory cake outlet, easy to find parking close by. Lots of great offers and large quantities at amazing prices. From a full size party cake, to boxes of mini rolls. The Cookie Dough chocolate bars are amazing.

OMG!!! So good, so cheap, friendly staff and you can freeze most of the cakes as they come in GIANT bags!!! It is only what they have on the day, so don't go expecting to get the same things every time... Although, you'll never leave empty handed! Parking is limited but I've always found 1 spot, mostly because you don't spend much time in there because everything is easy to see and the prices are easy to read. It does have STEPS leading up to the entrance, so not wheelchair or mobility impaired friendly. So, give a friend £10 and they can stock you up for at least 3 months!!! Bring STURDY bags... this much cake is HEAVY!!!!

Fantastic no frills shop. The cakes are a complete bargain, huge bags of flapjack offcuts, bashed mini Colin the caterpillar mini rolls etc, tubs of mini bites and big celebration cakes all at fantastic prices. The service is super fast so you don't queue for long, but they still managed to be cheerful and chatty. First class service and delicious cakes.

Basic shop but plenty of bargain price cakes to be had , only problem are the inconsiderate people blocking exit/entry in the small car park... but waiting time is short in the shop so hopefully they won't be inconsiderate for too long.

Where do I start. What they do, is bring in the foreign people. Make them work like slaves and treat them bad. Any food made here, you don’t want to eat. I seen someone pick there nose while making the food, I’ve seen people open up or even just stick their fingers in food in the warehouse side. I’m telling you, these man don’t wash their hands. Went today and was amazed at what was on offer. The smell of the cakes baking is pretty impressive too. Big shout out to the security guard for being pleasant charming and amusing a credit to park cakes

This place is not recommendable for work ,specially for your first time job experience. Because you'll remember it like a nightmare. I would describe this work as a " workers explosion".They pay you the minimum rate after doing such a hard work and standing on feet 8h . Otherwise,when you apply for job they ask you if you want full time job and then when you start working they send you at home when they want. Even they hire so many people every day that later they don't have a job for them. And the line managers are so rude they don't respect you.

Great prices for the same cakes you find in some supermarkets and friendly service. It's cash only so make sure you take in cash with you. Some cakes are not suitable for vegetarians but if you ask, they will tell you which ones. Update: I believe they now take card payments. The apple pies are amazing 😋

Good shop for all types of cake

Paid £5 and got so many snacks as had guests over. Bought some Millionaire bites huge pack for £1.50, swiss rolls for like 50p each, 5 pack of catterpillar chocolate logs for 50p and also fresh flapjack bites for 50p probably be about more than a £1 for less at your local supermarket bakery. Also got a range of other things too but all fresh an so cheap. Staff are excellent an friendly if you ever have a party an need some snacks this is the place.

I have applied for job here and give induction.Area manger had asked me that i will ring you but i am still waiting for his call.

The yard around loading bays 1 to 4 is a disgrace. So many things to trip over when walking to hand my paperwork and keys in. You lot seriously need to get that area cleaned up or you'll be paying for someone's next holiday.

Limited range due to them selling misshaped confectionery. quality still there and we'll worth buying .

... This place was once a number of traditional bakeries under one roof for supermarket shelves. That is from 1940 employing local people... Just like the mills in the area before them... Now we are 2021 park cakes has become an independent logistics centre suppying still to their clients, albeit with a bakery 'attached'... A good focal point to try out any new found logistics and supply skills that the government suggested that you gain during lockdown as part of being an essential key worker for the future after lockdown restrictions... 😉

Absolutely silly place to work. Not many people speak English there and line managers are way too rude and horrible. If you have a little sense of self respect and or a sensitive person don't go there as your self confidence might be shaken really badly

Hi name is Lewis Talbot and I work at the Gi Group At Park Cakes. Gi Group through park Cakes were the first employers to give me a chance. The chance to gain valuable experience in on the job communication as well as taking my own initiative. I feel I can take these and more into future employment I may possibly gain the future. At Park Cakes,I've met numerous friendly faces and very rarely if ever truly come to odds with anyone.Their is never a time where I've felt unsafe on site no matter department for the charge hands amongst others are extremely vigilant. Not mention the staff discount within the aptly named cake shop is also a plus. I highly recommend anyone to company chance when you and your future employment.

I work in park cakes. I've worked in beehive and most of the department's but I like working in the hive the staff at park cakes are friendly. The atmosphere is very good always and managers and everyone are very friendly I love working here. If anyone reading this wants to work here in the future am sure you would love it.

I love coming to this place for treats. A must visit for parties and special occasions.

As a person who has worked in the premises in the past. I am currently unable to say anything good about the premises. From what I have seen in the premises, the was zero health and safety on site. And zero working equipment for the hygiene site work. Also plenty of pest infestation on site. Also I have to say that I was shocked to see that the management team were carrying out bullying of staff. As well as I was a victim of the bullying by management when I worked there. Not a place to recommend to anyone wanting employment in the future.

DO NOT WORK HERE. the workplace is corrupt. NO practical health and safety in place. One quick half an hour written paper questions and your in the door. I was badly injured in hereand they forced me to carry on working with unbelievebly bruised arms from another staff member with zero training. This is not acceptable and should not be happening. Also this is an underpaid job they make u slave and mess up your pay. I would not recommend working here. Big safety issues!!!! The company should be fined.

Just came to the shop with my girlfriend and 4 month old baby in car seat got turned away because shes under 17!!! Therees no such law ! But yet 2 seconds off being stood out side a women gets to walk in with her daughter hes about 12 years old and says shes 18 the member of staff said quiet I'll let her in I've done it a few times today....

Got a call late at night, saying to come to an interview the next day in the morning. Told them i wasn't available at that time. Never heard from them ever again.

I was told about this shop from a work colleague. Went today and I was not disappointed. Loads of choice and at prices that are amazing!!!!! Staff were really friendly and helpful. Will be coming back for more!!

Great for your cake fix, plenty of choice, would be a great place to visit if your having a party. Remember no children under 17 years allowed in shop.

I was asked to leave the shop immediatelly as I had my 2 year old daughter with me. No children allowed in this shop!!! Never heard of such a thing before that children are not allowed to enter a food shop with a parent. Will not be returning or recommending it to anyone. Ridiculous!!

Shithole and supervisors are power mad.Agency say you are promised a job after 3 months which is a load of Crap.Nobody ever gets offered a job here even if you been on the agency for the last 3 years or so.
