We held a Sunday lunch here for our daughters 18th for 14 people. We had it in the boardroom and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The events team were brilliant beforehand and everything was ready on the day for me to decorate the room. Ian was an excellent host and helped whenever we needed it, I was particularly grateful for the slicing of the cake :) the staff were brilliant and the food was top notch! Everyone had an amazing time and I can highly recommend Draycote hotel restaurant and hotel for any occasion, whether a large family gathering or Sunday lunch in their restaurant. A superb and memorable experience. We will be back x

I have eaten at this restaurant for breakfast on a few occasions now. It’s always very nice with a great selection. The hotel staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I will continue to visit!

Since the new owners came in 2019 this place has really soared. The restaurant produces a great breakfast (I'm there every week for a breakfast business club) and the service and offerings in general area great. A REALLY good place to meet, eat and enjoy great food and service. I've had lunches here too, and again, you can trust the venue to look after your celebration, event etc and offer really great food.

Lovely buffet breakfast with a great selection of hot and cold. Lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and a hearty cooked breakfast. Even had the choice of bread or a roll!

I hadn't been to the Draycote for a while, even pre-lockdown. it just fell off our list for some reason. it was a joy to return and to see that the enforced closure time was put to good use with the place being given a makeover and now looking very spruce. There were 3 of us for dinner, and we opted to go for deserts rather than starters. Two of us had the lamb rump, which was all that it should be: moist, slightly pink and lots of flavour. The vegetables were exactly the right texture (not overcooked) and the presentation was really good. if we hadn't been so busy chatting I would have taken photos! The other member of our party had the sea bass, which was light and well presented. For desert, two of us had the panna cotta, which was to die for! I'd come back just for the desert. The third member of our party considers himself to be a sticky toffee pudding expert, and the Draycote's offering definitely passed the test. Thanks to the staff at the Draycote, who were friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back in the near future.

Went in to the hotel for some lunch with not really knowing anything about it not from round area. Felt really welcome by Snehal, and also Ellie at the bar. All staff were friendly, service was on point! Really enjoyed the food and will defo be returning to this lovely hotel and space:)

Had a couple of drinks and a bite to eat with my family, yet again we were not disappointed! We were looked after by lovely Chanel and his team, Nothing was too much for them, Thank you very much, We will be back soon!

My family and I a party of 6 decided to have our Christmas 2019 lunch at the Dratcote hotel, London Road, Dunchurch, Rugby. Our meal was booked for 2pm. On arrival at 1.30pm we were met with sparkling wine or orange juice, We were escorted to out table which was superbly set out. Our meal was of a carvery style. There was a choice of 5 starters, All the meats you would expect on Christmas day, and 5 desserts, Mince pies tea and coffee. I have to compliment Mr. Lakhani and his excellent team who actually made our day. The service was exceptional, we will be going back.

We had such a lovely afternoon for my baby shower at Draycote Hotel. Perfect room with a long table and comfy sofa area and decorated amazingly by my friends. Amazing afternoon tea served by Jade and Sana who were so accommodating and helpful making sure we had everything we needed!

We visited the hotel for Sunday Lunch on 30th September. We were a party of 7 my wife and I my youngest son, his wife and two granddaughters, also my eldest son from Australia. On arrival we were shown to our table and offered drinks whilst we deliberated over the menue, a two course, or three course. Once decided we ordered our meals. I must say that the staff were excellent and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for the waitresses and the hotel manager. A choice of 4, starteres 4 main course and 4 Desserts. All presented expertlyat the table. The food when it arrived was very good indeed. I shall definately go again. In fact I was so impressed that we have booked for Xmas day this year.

The menu has a good selection of dishes that should satisfy most people. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We had arranged for private dining and as we had several members of the party who were unable to climb stairs easily we were allowed to use the boardroom for our evening meal.

I attended a conference recently and had a brilliant experience. The service food and set up was all excellent. Snehal was very organised and was at hand all the time. Attention to detail and customer service was superb. Thanks to all the team. Especially Snehal for making sure everyone was looked after all the time.

Myself and friend went for road trip and decided to have something to eat so stop at this beautiful hotel with golf club such a lovely atmosphere friendly staff and good food ;) Definitely will go back there and highly recommend to friends!

So me and my friend decided to go to this hotel for a bite to eat, we ended up having a few cheeky Gins, an amazing lunch with an even better desert! The staff were efficient and welcoming. My parents held a 70th wedding anniversary lunch for nearly 50 family & friends here. The foods (carvery) was fantastic. Starters were delicious, very generous portions of meat, great veg and brilliant puddings.

It’s not often you are greeted with exceptional service and a warming smile. We were welcomed by Melissa who must of noticed we were looking a lost. She got talking to us and advised us on some local places we could go for a walk. She took our drinks order and my wife wanted a gin and she recommended different flavours and what tonics best compliment them which was a nice touch. She then brought our drinks over to the table. We were made to feel very comfortable and welcomed that we then decided to have lunch. The food was very nice and a reasonable price. We will definitely be returning in the near future. The hotel grounds are well kept also. I never usually would leave feedback but what a gem Melissa was, although she did cost me a bottle of rhubarb and ginger gin on the way home as my wife insisted we brought a bottle on the way home.

We had a lovely meal at the hotel and all the staff are good however the service we received from Snehal which was outstanding he went the extra mile for us which made our evening brilliant. We would definitely come back again .

We celebrated our 70th anniversary in style

We often eat here in the bar after golf. Occasionally in the restaurant. The food is always tasty nicely served and it is value for money. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.

We had a lunch with family and friends to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. We were looked after very well by friendly efficient staff. Everyone enjoyed the food and the venue. The hotel looked extra special as they had just put up the Christmas decorations.

Rugby Dunsmore Rotary club held their annual Ascot Ladies Day at the Draycote Hotel.The food was excellent, the service courteous, and the surroundings delightful. Thanks to the Hotel for their support in making the day a great success

Just had a 3 course Sunday lunch and can honestly say it was Lovely, and great value for money. I had the turkey and it was melt in the mouth, not usual for turkey as it can be a very dry meat, so we'll done to the chef (s). Would definitely recommend Sunday lunch.

Had a good time. The 4 course meal was very good. Served in good time and no issues. Friendly bar staff and a good evening.

We are members of the golf club and have eaten in the restaurant a few time. We normally use the bar.

A lovely little venue, I had a great meal! The Ribeye and their gin selection deserves a special mention. The restaurant was also clinically clean, the staff were warm, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We will visit again!

Stopped off for a lite lunch. Food was so fresh and served so quickly. The salad was so nice and presented in a very professional manner. Very reasonable pricing, cheaper than any of the local pubs! Surroundings were lovely. Felt very welcome by staff and the manager Kris. Cannot fault anything. Can't wait to eat there again.

Pasó a preguntar dos veces que bebida que queríamos! ! La habitación era preciosa, la comida de la boda fue preciosa y caliente y la sopa de cebolla es uno de los mejores que he probado. Cuando me cambiaron de habitación por noche de fiesta sábado en recepción, era cómodo y acogedor. En general, pensamos que era un lugar fantástico.

Parece que han re-bautizado el restaurante pero no mantenido estándares anteriores. El almuerzo de domingo mi esposa y yo teníamos era adecuada en todos los sentidos excepto por la carne estar en el lado "duro". Esto puede suceder si usted no va a decentes de sus proveedores. La comida estaba caliente y muy sabroso. La razón de la puntuación media es la completa falta de ambiente y de clientes. En 1. 00:00 el domingo se espera más de 2 comensales (a mí y a mi esposa! ! ! ! ). El coste de la comida estaba bien, pero el precio de las bebidas es, en mi opinión, abusivos! ! ! ! . 10 libras. 60 por una copa de vino y un Jack Rabbit pinta de cerveza limonada. Este lugar está en un entorno encantador y siempre sentí que tenía 'estado' que visité. Por desgracia, este no puede ser dicho hoy. El restaurante está vacío o 'invadido' con ruido de niños. No tome cualquier satisfacción de escribir esta crítica, y por desgracia, mi esposa y yo no volveremos en el futuro. Lo siento MINA! ! ! !

Myself & family of 15 attended Draycote Hotel today for Christmas Lunch. The lunch, staff and atmosphere were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, children were well looked after. Will definitely be going again! Thank you to all the team for a lovely Christmas lunch.

Our family visited yesterday for Mother's Day lunch and a family birthday. The food and staff were fantastic and helped us to thoroughly enjoy our day. They could not do enough for us and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Did I want the stress of lunch at home with first the endless shopping, preparation and clearing up afterwards. A definite NO. So what to do? Book at the Draycote. Easy.On arrival I knew we had made the right choice when we were greeted by the managers, Anna and Stephan and taken to our beautifully decorated table. We were served delightfully, promptly, efficiently by two waitresses Sophia and Rhianna.The meal prepared by Chef Paul and staff was well planned and faultless. Far better than the stress at home 'is the turkey cooked etc".Thank you to all the staff. We so enjoyed Christmas lunch with youHappy New Year to all the staff at the Draycote.Ros C

Had my wedding here on Saturday and the manager offered us a complimentary meal and nights stay in the honeymoon suite to relax after our wedding which was so amazing. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. They were expecting us on reception and welcomed us abd continued chatting to us about our wedding which was so personal and special to us and continued the magical experience of our wedding. This is a hiden gem of Coventry/Rugby. We will be coming here for meals regularly. The steak is fanastic and the Cheese cake is to die for. Lovely music and great looking hotel. Thank you so much. We will remember thus for the rest of our lives.

Sadly this review is the worst I have written on Trip Advisor, and I have commented on hotels in Ethiopia! We finished off a terrific family weekend by booking Sunday lunch at Draycote Hotel for 24 guests. When we arrived we were initially surprised that we were not to have the Carvery meal we had be told to expect when we booked and confirmed (nor a separate room away from the rest of the restaurant). However, the restaurant was set out pleasantly and after being seated with drinks, food orders were taken. It then went rapidly downhill (or slowly depending upon your point of view). The starters were clearly an indication of the obvious traumas that were happening in the kitchen. The prawn cocktail, for example, consisted of a number of unshelled pawns completely covered in sauce that had to be extracted and pealed before they could be eaten. When the main courses arrived, over an extended period, the food was served on cold plates and was cold. I waited for a further 10 minutes before the first vegetables arrived which was better than some who still had nothing after a further 30 minutes. What food that did sporadically arrive was clearly not cooked by a hotel chef (or one that had pride in his/her art). On discussion with the duty manager it was agreed that we would cut our losses and leave without the need to pay for what some had already partly consumed out of desperation. Clearly the Draycote Hotel could not cope with a party so large on that Sunday, which is surprising as they advertise as a wedding venue. In all this I pay tribute to the young waitresses and receptionist who were clearly distressed and embarrassed about the situation with which they were faced and who did their best to resolve an impossible situation. However, our wonderful weekend ended rather disappointingly in the car park as we said our goodbyes and started our long journeys home. To be fair to the Hotel, the Hotel Manager did contact us the next day to profusely apologise in person and explain the problem we faced. In order to move on we have accepted.The Hotel website states "We are passionate about offering our guests an excellent dining experience". Was our experience just a “bad day at the office” ….?

We have tried many fish and chip evenings at local pubs, but quite honestly this beat the lot of them. Everything from the cleanliness, the way the tables were dressed, the service, the way the food was presented-it was faultless. Great fresh fish, chips that were not oily, lovely mushy peas. We will definitely be going here again, delighted with everything.

We booked a table for Tuesday evening and arrived at the hotel, but were disappointed with the greeting we receved. We were told to look for somewhere to sit and vaguely pointed in the direction of the room which had a Rotary club meeting. After waiting at the bar for some time we finally took our seat at a table in the window. It would have been nice and welcoming if someone had actually escorted us to our table. As it was the woman behind the desk was not at all helpful.Having said all this the waitresses were friendly, helpful and served us well. The food was delicious. It was just the off hand reception we received which was very off putting.Also some blinds or curtains at the window would be good as the sun was blinding!!

We went to Draycote hotel for a family birthday celebration, it was AMAZING! We walked in and were greeted warmly (first impressions are always important to me) and the exceptional service carried on throughout the night! From the wine to the steak we cannot compliment the food any higher! The atmosphere in the resturant was lovely with great music for a really relaxing evening. We will absolutley be returning to Draycote and would recommend the hotel and its staff to anyone!

Me and my partner attended draycite hotel last night for a valentines meal. The food was absolutely stunning and the service and attention to detail was amazing!! We have booked our wedding here next may and after what i saw last night i know i have 100% made the right decision! Really could not recommend this venue enough! Thankyou Amy

Just want to say a big thanks to Stefan, he sorted me out big time, especially as i was staying away on business on my own which is not always the most exciting thing to do. He told me about something that wasn't on the menu which was lovely and glad i ordered it. he also said that i was welcome to take my drink to my room which was nice as i didnt want to sit on my own in the bar any longer
