One pizza to deliver. Notification over an hour ago to say it was on its way and the delivery then took over an hour to arrive!! Last time papa johns will be getting an order from us.

I've been here a few times and i love coming here. It's really clean inside, the staff are always really nice and the food is super good

Impeccable service from Harry, will definitely come again as he made me and my friend feel very comfortable and knew the menu back to front. Very sanitary environment and not too crowded. The food is amazing, defo recommend!!

Food is always good quality and they deliver early which is great, however they never use the tracking on the app which would allow me to be more prepared for early delivery.

Papa John’s never use the tracking feature in the Just Eat app which means I don’t know where the delivery driver is. They often get lost as I live in a obscure area. I include a dropped pin and What 3 Words in Just Eat, I wish Papa John’s would use it!

The choc chip cookie was over cooked all round edges kids couldn’t even bite into it was to solid to eat didn’t have the texture of freshly cooked cookie

We always order this pizza but this time it was very bare, hardly any toppings on it, it was more nice bread than their usual pizzas. I wonder if it was because it was 20% off, I would prefer to pay full price and have a pizza with toppings. It was a large pizza and I wouldn't of been happy with the amount of toppings had that of been on a small pizza. Very stingy not sure if I would order again Delivery driver was lovely

18mins late, food cold, driver could not find address even with several phone calls. Won’t be ordering again.

Ordered food. Waited an hour. Rang them to see where it was and it was "just leaving the shop" it's 2 minutes drive to the store from my house but the delivery driver took another quarter hours went to the wrong house, then claimed MY POSTCODE took him to the wrong house. He made out like it was my fault for giving him the wrong postcode. It's MY POSTCODE like I'm gonna get it wrong. My wife rang up for a refund as is was stone cold and didn't have the sauce we had paid extra for, and was told we couldn't have one because we had received our order. She asked to speak to a manager and the guy, who barely spoke English, told us he was the manager. Call back tomorrow and get free food he says, no. REFUND PLEASE Can we escalate this and speak to your manager "No, you call back tomorrow, 2pm, and you talk to him"

Rang the first time after an hour and 15 and was told the driver was on his way. The store is 5minutes from us at a slow pace. Rang half an hour later and was given the same response. Rang after 2 hours to cancel. Phone amazingly cutout after I said cancel and a deliver driver turned up 5mins later with lukewarm pizzas. Just don't bother

Food never showed up and restaurant never answered when trying to call

Food turned up stone cold last week and delivery driver couldn't find my house, told me to change my legal address, rang to complain and was promised a free pizza by a guy called Jordan, as much as I felt he was fobbing me off I beleived him. I've now rang to speak to this Jordan to be told nobody works there called Jordan, absolute scam artists!! Literally lied to my face to prevent me from complaining! Awful service never going here again!

Super poor. The food was over an hour late and as a result very cold. Incredibly disappointing when you're paying £40 for a couple of pizzas. Won't order again.

Had takeaway pizza brought via the papa johns website. Food was very nice with me and my partner getting 2 pizza and 2 sides. Pizza had lots of toppings and was still hot and fresh on arrival. All in all was a good tasting takeaway pizza. Good value for money when using the special offers avaliable which always seem to be running in one form or annother. The website has a tracking function to track the journey of the pizza but this isn't very accurate with the website saying the pizza is delivered despite not having received the pizzas yet so just a heads up not to panic if this happens to you. Overall good takeaway pizza and would be happy to order again.

Love the service from them, we ordered 2 pizzas and both were so tasty and delicious..

The wrong items were delivered and when I tried to speak to the delivery man about this he just waved me off told me to speak to his manager tomorrow, then called me 15 minutes later saying he’s sorted it and is on the way with my new order and when he arrives he turns up with 1 item out of six missing that was stone cold. And to get that item I had to return one of the items he wrongly delivered which at that point was also stone cold. I feel sorry for whoever he gave that to.

Ok so have to say ..... papajohns ... is SOOOOOO EXPENSIVE!!!! AND .....AND .....AND .....delivery service was over half hour late and then shop staff blamed the delivery driver !!! Food is mediocre at best and deffo will reconsider ever ordering from here again .... 🙄 😒

Driver over 60 mins late and could not follow map to address. I went to a local landmark a 5 min walk from my house to meet him. He shouted at me, and told me he had lost deliveries. Worst driver ever.

I ordered a pizza and 2 sides from Papa Johns on Thursday 8th February 2024. After about 15 minutes the app was showing my order was ready for delivery after an hour I rang them to be told going in the oven now and then straight away hung up on. After just over hour my food arrived and was cold. All I’ve ever really wanted from a takeaway is honestly about delivery time and food that is ready to be eaten is that too much to ask? From Papa John Halifax yes it is. I have complained to them but heard nothing so far and guess I won’t. My advice do not use them.

I order a pizza and side from Papa John Halifax on Thursday 8th February at 17:16 on the app. It is now 18:55 and still no order being delivered they are about 2 miles from my house. On the app show that it was cooked by 17:23 so I rang them at 18:22 to be told it was going in the oven now and then straight away hung up on. Terrible customer service and we are sat hungry wishing we’d used any other takeaway in Halifax. Will not be ordering from them again. All I really want from a takeaway is honestly about delivery times and they are not. DO NOT USE IF YOU EVER WANT TO ACTUALLY GET FEED!

Had to ring twice. The first time I was told they would start to cook it and it would be 30mins. This was 1 hour and 25 mins after ordering it. Than waited another hour

rang up 20 mins after my slot amd was told driver 3-4 mins away..he turned up 25 mins later. If it's gonna be late then be honest and say ITS GONNA BE LATE!!!

Don’t order on line. Food took nearly 2 hours to turn up. When it arrived it was cold and had to have 1 min in the microwave.

Took nearly 1 hour for the pizza to arrive, when it did arrive it was the wrong pizza, then had to wait for the correct pizza to arrive, didn’t taste good, poor quality ingredients that tasted like they had gone bad, i would not recommend this place

Hello I ordered an xxl family size pizza it took over 3 hours to arrive, it was stone cold And burnt, I rang the shop and they told me 15 mins another 2 hours later my pizza arrived.

Despite having to ask just eat for a delivery update, turned up 40mins late and was luke warm. the pizzas are just too good even if cold.

Just absolutely shocking! Over a hour late, from when app notified me to say driver on way, the fact papa John's is only 5 mins up road it's also taken him over 25mins to arrive. Food to then be cold is just a disgrace, but that's not the end of it, the Philly cheese steak pizza is just cheese on pizza base with no tomato puree and like chewing a leather boot. Worst experience I've ever had literally.

Food arrived late and cold!! Won't be using papa John's again. Absolute waste of money! Next time pizza hut, at least they deliver to the time they say, and it'll arrive warm!! If I could leave 0 stars I would!
