Much better since new owners, food is super fresh and the staff are great. A1 recommend. Was about to get a parking ticket and my man brought the food out to the car so I could defend from the ticket enforcer. Big up lads, thanks

Called through to order, spoke to a barely there person who took over 6 minites and 4 corrections to get the order right. Told it will be ready for collection in 25 mins. Drove there to be told they dont have the order, 'the manager probably took it but he's gone now'. Staff member then proceeds to wander off whilst we tried to reorder. Then we were offered a hawaiian for a fiver that had been clearly left on the side for some time. The staff member was so rude that we gave up and walked out. Went to Pizza Hut instead and got polar opposite service. Lady was lovely, sorted order in 2 mins and food was ready after 10 mins. I will never order at Papa Johns Hereford again, it is run by idiots who dont know the first thing about customer service.

Great pizza. After refurbishment it looks like they care and they are fast with service. We used to love our take away pizza from papa johns and we have been missing it in hereford. Good that they are open again. 😊

Food was good, ordered an xl but they accidentally made a large. Granted this was the last pizza of the night. Luckily they made us a small pizza to go with the large.

AMAZING ! The pizza came quickly and was nice and hot which I find is an issue with the pizza places near me. I also tried the tandoori pizza and it was something different to what the family usually eats but we all loved it. And we obviously had to eat it with the potato tots !! Highly Recommend.

Having been closed for some time the shop has reopened and under new management by the looks. Good deals online if collecting, only downside is the food can take quite a while to cook. Tastes good though and there are several nice vegetarian choices.

Amazing Pizza! Delivery was quick and workers are kind and extremely helpful. I would definitely be carrying on ordering from here every weekend. My kids also adore the pizza.

Papa Johns is great pizza. Our family favourite! (Real American style pizza) Disappointed to see it has closed temporarily. I hope they will re open.

Place an order, over an hour later, I call and ask where my food is. Baring in mind I've paid already. Person on the phone says he has no idea where my food is, can't find my delivery and says there's nothing he can do to help, so just hangs up, I'm £30 down, no food and no help. Terrible service.

Poorly organized. Don't insure their drivers. Manager is never in and is usually getting drunk according to other workers. Would not recommend for pizza as they clean nothing and are flies around ingredients and pizza toppings.

when delivering pizza to a hotel, don't just leave the pizza outside the hotel and drive away without calling. I gave you instructions, I gave you my number. Second time already.

I am currently in hospital when I missed something off my order. I had earlier in that day been given 6 months, which as a 44yold male was quite a shock. I telephoned ben who said we wont charge you for your missed order and offered some deserts as well. It brought a rare smile to my face today. Thank you PJ's in Hereford

Ben sorted me right out, forgot to add stuffed crust so rang them to change it and he did it for free, top bloke deserves a pay rise

worst service you can get. never apologizes for late deliveries and updates online orders as "delivered" 20-30 minutes even before attempting to deliver. Had to phone their shop for an update, was said to be on its way 20 minutes ago when we live 10 meters away from them. Good stuff

Me and the wife decided to have a pizza for a change it was between dominoes and Papa Johns so we went for Poppa Johns absolutely lovely we had the biggest pizza you can get with half meat feast and half of wine he said it would be with us in half hour if it did exactly it was roasting hot I thoroughly enjoyed it really really nice will be visiting you again

We ordered a very large quantity of pizza and sides. Some of the pizzas were altered which made the order more complicated. Nevertheless, each pizza was made accurately with plenty of toppings and was hot when we arrived to collect. We were able to qualify for the 50% off deal which saved us a substantial amount. This did not deter from the fantastic quality and taste. Some of the household had never had Papa Johns but expressed that they would order again over their usual leading pizza take away. Special thanks to Ben and others who were working Wednesday evening (28/10/20). All staff adhered to Covid regulations and were friendly and positive. Overall, we were all extremely satisfied with the service and will definitely come back.

Loved the marmite and cheese stuffed crust they used to do last year, mentioned it to a guy called Ben on the phone who told me they could still do it and took care of it for us. First off, I usually love this local papa johns and if based soley off this experience below, id have given one star but in the past it used to be very good. Payed extra for specific side dips. Ended up getting 3 incorrect dips which we really didn't want (2 buffalo and a marinara sauce that seemed to be made in store and watered down) and neither of the two customary ones. One pizza was made far below usual or acceptable standard, and the other whist fine, had terrible tomato pieces. Next morning could not get a refund as it was past the 30 mins after receiving order; I had not called up straight away as I had guests and it was already 11 30 pm and didn't think id get through.

Ordered twice, both orders were incorrect and taste wasn't so great either. Ordered The Works and didn't get any red onions, ordered BBQ Chicken and no BBQ sauce and 2 pieces of chicken. On top of that, ordered thin crust and got the regular deep pan. I'd stay clear, feeling sorry for my own disappointment.

Rapidly going downhill since their opening in Hereford. We used to order from them exclusively but the last few times they've been terrible. Poor quality food, arrives lukewarm, can never seem to get the condiments right & never apologize for getting them wrong. Waste of money.

We ordered food over three hours ago and have called three times to find out what's going on, only to be told twice that it's on its way - in the delivery car. And an hour passes...no food. We call again. Apparently it's in the car, on its way. Another 50 minutes later...not here. You get the picture. I'm so hungry I've stopped seeing colours. They offered an extra pizza (which is great!) But no food is here. I've forgotten what we ordered. Or who I am. James was very helpful but whoever the other guy was told fibs.

Bought 2 pizzas, one half and half, came within 20 minutes of ordering and was piping hot! Order was correct and tasted great. Definitely ordering again from here as opposed to other places.

Never again! Manager offered to deliver my correct pizza that I ordered then rang back 10 mins later and said he had spoken to his area manager and will not be making me my correct order then put the phone down when questioned about this! So now I'm left with a pizza that is not what I ordered and I cant eat! What a joke!!!!!! I've ordered here on many occasions and never had this before!

Took 1 hour to deliver and they also forgot my icecream.

Made my order, was told would be an hour which was fine. Hour passed, rang upto see where order was, the lad on the phone was very rude and told me they've only got 1 delivery driver. Told him that wasnt my problem, he then put the phone down. Not happy at all. We are STILL waiting for the order hour and half later.

Got 241 deal on large pizzas on a sat night..we collected it and it was really superb. Definitely going back!

We ordered family pizza’s ( 2 x XXL) and they were the best ever! Fresh ingredients, arrived hot and just delicious to eat. By far the best take away pizza we have had in a long time - if not ever. We will definitely we using Papa John Hereford again.

Nothing to do with the pizza because I never actually got to try it! I rang up to place a very large order, but first enquired whether they could deliver to my address (exactly 4 miles from Papa John’s) I know a few takeaway’s have a limit of 3-3.5 miles but I couldn’t find this information on Papa John’s website. I offered to pay extra if 4 miles was too far and even stated we didn’t require the food until over an hours time. However, the manager was not interested and rudely stated it wasn’t worth their time - even though the order would have been a very reasonable amount of money, plus extra for mileage! I just find it a very odd way of conducting business and the person who claimed to be the manager wasn’t very professional. If they had have gone the extra mile (literally) we would have become regular customers but we will stay loyal to Perfect Pizza - who funnily enough are just a few doors up from Papa John’s!

Was a nice change of pizza from the usual fast food outlets. Far better than the Shack Revolution nearby, and just as good as others. Great job!

the two stars are for the pizza. Otherwise I had ordered a delivery and when it came the delivery driver stood outside my door for two minutes before knocking, just stood motionless staring at the floor. when i answered he was stood the same way and didnt even acknowledge or look in my direction as he handed me my food. I said thank you with no response and he then slowly turned and did a sort of shamble to his bike like he was walking on thin ice. His behavior was really odd and put me at unease at first. Ive seen behavior like this before involving drugs or high levels of stress so i was a tad alarmed. Make sure your delivery drivers are more vocal and attentive in future, i also check my pizza before they leave to insure its correct. had it been wrong i would of had a hell of a time to sort it out with him vanishing on me.

I ordered from the Hereford Branch a few weeks ago,I ordered online for delivery later that evening. The delivery was 30 mins late, and the I found the staff not at all helpful. I rang to send the pizza back and was told to return the original delivery, I did as requested, upon the delivery driver coming back with my "fresh pizza" he was incredibly rude and was struggling to understand a simple request. I rang the shop and I assume the manager answered and he wasn't at all helpful, so you all still reading this. So I was let down over this, so I contacted PJ Head Office and eventually they offered some coupons for a free pizza and a free side, so today I thought it would be a chance of redemption, how wrong was I. Again placed online for later delivery (14.00),by 14.25 no sign of the pizza, I rang the store and was told the delivery driver had been up, but no one answered, clearly states in the instructions , "Just walk in". So the manage then informs me that he'll send the driver back out with a fresh order, and I then received a call from the delivery driver, who couldn't find the address, ( strange as apparently he was here earlier) I gave the driver instructions , and guess what he walked right in, he then left, and when I opened the pizza and side, both items cold, so pizza was chucked in the bin and I guess I won't be using Papa Johns ever again. Rude staff, poor customer service.

Didn't want to give even one star, website is a load of rubbish I have an account but can't remember the password, can't even order a pizza without it, it's a joke got so angry with it I don't want one now! Got so annoyed I rang them and told them. Why put order as a guest if you can't even do it, points aren't available unless you order by card. So no stars from me

We've ordered from here twice so far and they make the tastiest pizzas we've ever had. The dough base and crust is as delicious as the toppings. The garlic bread they do is so good I could get addicted to it yummy. We will definitely be back for more.

Never had major problem with Papa Johns until today. I ordered a pizza and they gave me the wrong pizza twice! And they still didn't fulfill the order I wanted. The staff were arrogant and not helpful at all. As a result I ended up with pizza that I had to pick the ingredients off of because they gave me the wrong order.

Awful!!!!! Time and time again we are paying for dips and they Do not arrive!! This time no dips and no correct side as aprently they have ran out of chicken but failed to call us as aprently they don't have out correct number but knew who we were when phoning!!!!! They have given some off the next order but as my pizza is burnt and cold I'm kinda bloody fed up with it!!!!

We ordered a pizza from these guys. Their website isnt so great on mobiles to be honest. We usually go for dominos. These guys werw better on taste and temp. Although the deals arent as good as dominos. Would definitely consider them again. All depends on what you get for your £

Ordered our first pizza order,via mobile . Was told 15 mins, for collection, spot on when we collected it. Lovely, delicious pizza and cheese and bacon strips too. Nice,friendly staff that served us too.will definately be back. Thank you.
