Papa Johns Pizza in South Ayrshire

Never ever open, even hours later. Tiny portions and I mean less than a handful of potato and chicken bites.

Hit and Miss - sometimes it is awesome - piping hot pizzas and sides with a good amount of toppings and delivered quickly. Other times delivery is late, food is lukewarm and they skimp on the toppings or dump the cheese on so you have steamed / soggy pepperoni. Chocolate scrolls are delicious when done right but they usually skimp on the chocolate sauce and shavings making them not worth the money. Need to up the consistency.

Tried to order online - website not working Tried to phone - no answer Go into store to order - card machine not working and no cash payments. Great way to get business I don't think

Absolutely shocking communication skills. Chapped the door and left it on the step without someone answering the door then costumer service is very poor when phoning to ask where is was. Never getting for papa John ayr again.

Got a large pizza about 7 tonight and was served by a long haired man in the Ayr store (wish I'd asked his name) customer service was 5 star and the pizza was amazing. Also gave me a better deal cash wise for my pizza than I expected to pay, he stretched the doe to perfection and put the perfect amount of ingredients on with the perfect amount of sauce (I worked for dominos for years so I know good pizza)😂

Liars, if I could get away giving no stars I would! Been told for an hour and a half late delivery wait that the order was with the delivery driver but they couldn't phone him because he had no phone to check where he was up to. It had been in his car for the last half hour apparently. Two hungry kids and a load of toast later we managed to feed them, question is will the refund arrive anytime quicker than the pizza? The pizza never did arrive, wonder how the delivery driver knew that the order was cancelled if he had no phone 🤔🤔🤔

Sadly I can’t give less than 1 star..... Despite having pre-booked delivery slots, they were over 45minutes late. The order was wrong and when I phoned up to get things corrected the member of staff was less than helpful. Instead of simply organising a replacement order and getting it delivered, the staff were persistent and adamant I had to attend the store. Leaving my own food to go cold and having to mix with folk during social distancing measures. After 15 odd minutes of hassle back and forth they finally conceded to delivering a new order. Which again was still wrong.

Delivery was fast! The food was warm! The person on the phone and the delivery driver were very nice!!!!! 🍕🍗😋👍

Nice pizza could do with a thick crust as that's my preference however all in all a good meal

Very poor would give half a star if I could for starters first in then had to wait at least 30 mins for my order while others (including my brother who ordered later) got his before then had to deal with the fact it was the wrong order as well

Absolutely shocking!! Got home for Hogmanay celebrations looked on just eat and papa johns was open so I ordered a pizza as I was hungry and 30 mins later I receive a phone call to say the pizza will not be delivered and a refund will be given the next day. Totally unacceptable as the order was accepted on just eat terrible customer service I will take this further.

The best pizza shop by far, i could eat pizza out here everyday it's that good, and as for the chocolate brownies, bloody brilliant

Ordered a pizza tonight. Over 2 hours later we were told the driver was in Monkton where we live and it would be another 10 minutes. Not sure how as you could walk the length of Monkton in 10 minutes. Then recieved a call to say the driver had gone back to the store as he couldn’t find the house. Ended up with no pizza and what I think were mostly lies. Extremely unhelpful staff.

Ordered from just eat on Tuesday night. Had it ordered for a set time as I had friends over for dinner and I didn't want to cook. Couldn't tell you what the pizza was like as it went in the bin! Arrived over half an hour early, no one was at mine yet as they were still at work. Told the driver it was early for him to to look at me and walk away! I don't like reheated pizza and neither do my friends! Not that it matters, if I want to have to use my cooker I wouldn't have phoned in the first place!! Went in the bin and called a Chinese! Might as well have thrown £20 away! Oh and the chicken poppers weren't cooked through properly! Gads!! Refund please!!! Extremely not happy! Very much doubt I'll try again, and neither will my friends or family! Shame as I've heard so many good things about your pizza!!

Papa johns is actually really good better than domino definitely recommend, the deliver driver was really nice I think his name was 'Andrew'? The pizza tasted fresh and not greasy :) going back as soon as possible.

Disgusting service from this store. Ordered dinner for 3 kids under 8 @ 4.17pm, called the store at 5.30pm to ask where it was and was told it was on its way. 15 minutes later the driver appeared and tried to tell me that he went to the wrong address and had to walk (why he didn't just get in his car again i don't know), poor excuse! Opened our order and every bit of it was freezing cold!!! 3 starving kids, we had no choice but to heat it up ourselves. I then called the store to speak to a manager, the girl on the phone was useless and tried to lie and say the driver broke down (wasn't his story). Finally spoke to a manager who claimed we had received our meal in under an hour, complete lie and I have phone records to prove that! Was asked to call back yesterday (15/01/15), done that and was told I'd receive a full refund due to the service and poor quality of the meal itself, conveniently enough the machine to do the refund was broken (aye right), was told by the 'manager' id be called back today (16/01/15) to complete the refund and surprise surprise, it's now 8.25pm and no phone call. Disgusting service, shame on you's! I will take this all the way and make sure everyone knows to avoid you in future.

we had a delivery on a saturday and it took 2 hours to come then we phoned them and it finally arrived. when it arrived it was cold.over all the service was terrible

Pizza was no better than one you'd order from a kebab - which would've been a cheaper option.
