Ordered to the showdome in February pizza was not bad could have been better but for its size , it wasn’t worth £23 😂😂 a parkdean ran papa johns just tells the story don’t it 😭 never recommend and when it back in Trecco tomorrow deffo not 😂😂 I’ll try porthcawl dominos instead

Horrible food ,30min late was supposedto be delivered but endedup collecting it, took it back to be told they won't offer a refund but would make a new one , having just watched the dough boy wipe his nose on his hand and then carry on stretching out a base I declined the offer , terrible

Dreadful, not the same prices online as this store (don’t know why) waited over 30 mins in store for pizza, staff very ignorant, never coming back.

Our first night at parkdean and pizza was on the cards, ordered at the till and service was good, we ordered 3 large pizzas and some chicken wings, took around 20mins and all were piping hot and tasty, the only slight negative was that the pizzas were not all cut into slices, also not sure how big a large pizza should be as they seemed small to us, but overall was a good experience 😀 Update, so having checked the size of pizza a large should be 13.5" ,haven't got a tape measure with me but I know the envelope in the picture is A4 so approximately 12" in length, as you can see the boxes were definitely not large enough for a large pizza!!! Won't be going back!!! Hence the 1 star rating

Ordered pizza and chicken poppers, the chicken poppers were really burnt and the box they came in was full of black burnt bits, tried calling numerous times and no answer. Also purchased 2 garlic and herb dips and one tomato dip and neither of those came. The pizza was okay but way too much barbecue sauce so it kind of ruined it.

I had to give 1 star to post this review. I don’t want to give any stars. I ordered delivery to my caravan for 9.30pm. Eventually turned up 9.55pm. Upon opening pizzas we were horrific… we were all starving 2 adults and 2 kids… pizzas could not been eaten (£46 we paid), disgusting, just for them to be binned the next morning. My kids were starving all night, as by the time the pizzas were delivered, we walked up to the chippy but it was shut. Nothing else available than papa johns…tried and tried to ring them to complain, no answer. Stay away from this place. Husband got up early to shoot round co-op to get food to feed the kids as soon as they got up this morning… Wish I could upload a photo

Not a bad experience but not the best. Quite a long wait for pizza & the pizza was okay. Had a meat feast and was one taste, couldn't taste the variation. Pretty expensive too.

First and probably last Papa John's, it was okay, dominos is better + they messed up my order

Would like to say a massive thank you and appraisals to the legend of a lad CALUM!!! Best pizza around and can honestly say we ate it every night After having a skin full and Calum is such a great laugh. I’m surprised at how low reviewed this place is because the food and staff put in the work to deliver a great experience. Calum deserves a pay rise or a promotion due to his customer service expertise. Big up and see you again soon, from ZION!!!!!! (Mrs account)

Very poor, no gluten free options, in this day and age why on earth is GF options not standard. My daughter is coeliac and we have to plan daily where we go for anything. Very poor papa John's

Can’t get food if you tried. After 2.5 hours left the restaurant with no food and a sour taste form the poor service.

Terrible place to eat. Papa Johns is probably bottom of the list for any pizza lover but this place confirms its position on the rankings. Price was awful especially in a cost of living crisis, smallest pizza was £10, tasted like seasoned cardboard, wait time was dreadful. Waited 45 minutes for the small pizza. Staff were ok but were very young and were just messing around in the kitchen instead of taking orders.

Ordered in person at 19.25. Told me it would be 15 mins. Left there at 20.15

Do you like to wait one hour and thirty minutes for an unexceptional pizza? Then do we have the ideal takeaway for you!! Yes, it's a Saturday night. Yes, it's 8pm. Of course they'd be busy. But who, in the blessed kingdom of Trecco Bay, can wait 90 minutes for a pizza? I don't even know how that wait is possible. I can't cook pizza. I don't know where to start. But I'm confident that, given the raw ingredients, I could make you a pizza in less than an hour and a half. This place is, and I don't say this lightly, "Super lame".

Dated looking kitchen long wait due to low staff but food and swrvice was amazing

Shut at 21:45 but says online it shuts at 11:00 actually shuts at 10:00

Great pizzas and good service to your home or caravan, had an issue once with one pizza and it was refunded and replaced . Good on ya !!!! listening to the customer

Way to much tomato sauce not enough cheese

Absolutely terrible service! 50 min wait time for a pizza ... and they know they can get away with poor service because we are not going to argue on holiday.. shambles.. avoid! Run by a bunch of kids.

I have no earthly idea why this shop has such bad reviews the woman serving could not have been anymore friendly and helpful pizza took 20 min to prepare was hot and delicious not sure what more you could want from a take away pizza shop

Order took so long to prepare in sure they flew to Italy to get it ,,when it eventually arrived the order was missing something which they didn't rectify,,,nice pizza though,,,but Better off going to Woody's pizza if your in porthcawl

I find it incredible that in 2022 Papa John's Pizza in Trecco bay doesn't have a gluten free product. I find it less surprising that the staff don't give a monkeys.

Ordered pizza and four cheese potato tots. The cheese was on the bottom of the potato tots with no sauce like stated. It took 3 workers to sweep the floor while the wait was ages, as a past fast food worker myself I understand it can get busy. But when you have orders coming out of your ears sweeping the floor is not a three man job.

went in there on vacation. 6 slice pizza with pepperoni and cheese came to 12 pound. this is a terrible price and when pizza arrived it was cold and stale. This will be the last time i will ever think of papa johns pizza ever again. i would advise you not go there.

Ordered for Porthcawl but went thru to this store. Called and spoke to Mike and told him to donate it to someone who needed it and he offered a refund. Utter class, thanks pal

Ordered a 15 inch double pep and double BBQ wings was hot and amazing 👏 can't fault it!

Although Papa John's Trecco Bay advertise they're open until 11PM ensure you're there by 10:30 as the staff seem to think it's acceptable to close and stop orders after this time.

Worst pizza delivery service ordered at 7.30pm for delivery and got to 9 with no delivery when to shop and no one had idea where order was so refunded me half n redone order to be delivered but this got to 10 and again never turned up which in this time had to young children with no tea still so and to travel to McDonalds after 10 at night and with that still not got other half of refund for order never got to see 2.5hrs later not happy at all so poor service and there was other ppl with same problem and phone line no one answer so what's point in that

Waited for 1hr 10mins before I asked about there whereabouts of my order. To which the answer was they had no clue. They had full pizza boxes stacked high but no clue who's was who's. The staff were opening lids to check pizzas numerous times with no regard to cleanliness. Staff hygiene questionable due to witnessing one basically picking her nose. There needs to be an overhaul of staff and processes to sort this out quickly. For a "big" pizza company it was a horrendous experience. Plus the over priced pizza was cold and tasted horrendous.

Just ordered a pizza . Was told it would be about 20 mins but 13 mins later it was delivered to my caravan door it was piping hot and absolutely delicious just wish I ordered more.

Worst pizza and service ever. Thin and crispy base was think and stodgy, garlic dip was like pure oil. Pizza was cold even after waiting nearly 40 mins to be served.

Terrible service, was told I would get a phone call when it was ready as although I explained our door was opposite their back door I did not know property number. When no call came I walked round to see what was going on, while waiting saw other customer return pizzas that were given wrong, only to be put back on the to be collected shelf. Eventually I was asked my name and they found it sitting on a shelf, freezing cold, they claimed they called me 3 times - they didn't I have missed call alert so if no reception or on another call I get an SMS from O2.

Extremely over priced, won't be using it again! I think I had the vegetarian chicken, either that or my chicken was the 2019 hide and seek champion if Trecco Bay.

Really the worst pizza i have ever had. The garlic dip tastes of pure vegetable oil with no garlic what so ever. Absolutely discusting pizza. Go else where.

Waited 1hr 30mins for delivery when got told 1hr max. Some parts of the order were wrong, I tried 10+ times to phone to get it sorted but no answer. Waste of money.

Pizza was so greasy it was like it was cooked in a frying pan full of fat, Really expensive for a little pizza too.

Busy but no excuse. In loo, actual lumps of poo at eye height in loo! Dried so been there a while. Pizza awful. Half inch thick pesto, cheese from middle to only half way, chicken AND pineapple both so dry couldn't distinguish apart. No taste. Overpowering pesto in big dollops.

I popped in to the shop to order some food as the phone number wasn't on Google I explained it to them and I said I would update it for them so we can ring direct and they was very grateful, the service was good and the manger (boss) was lovely and helpful, tasty food as always from a Papa John's Store. I would come back but I live 145 miles away Hahaha
