I ordered 2 pizzas for collection today, when I got the pizzas home I noticed one of them was incorrect so had to take them back in store to correct it. I asked for the pizza to be corrected and the original order redone as it would’ve been cold by the time I got the corrected order - but the person in store was refusing to make a fresh pizza, I had to ask for the manager who agreed to remake both pizzas. This would have been fine but the staff did not prioritise my order, 2 hours later and I was still waiting on my order to be completed, and when I finally got home with the order the pizzas were lukewarm! Never had this kind of issue with any other Papa John’s branch and won’t be using this one again. The customer service here is lacking, for comparison when I used Pizza Hut in the past, same issue, they got one of my pizzas wrong. When I called up they were very apologetic and offered to remake both pizzas and also gave us free nuggets for the inconvenience of having to drive back and forth 👍

Since the new management have taken over, this place is Fantastic! Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time, blows domino’s out the park! So glad they’re reopen!!!!

Do not order from this store. Ordered online for delivery, didnt turn up for 3 hours, and werent answering calls. Drove down and its “temporarily closed”. Absolute joke of a place.

Worst papa johns! Always has phone switched off, delivered the wrong food, they were late and it was cold! Absolutely pathetic service and needs to close.

I would NOT recommend this restaurant. They have the phone shut off, so i could not get any updates from them on where my order was. Order NEVER arrived, they have lied to deliveroo and said theyve tried calling me when they have not. Absolutely awful experience i would not buy from here. £30 worth of food just gone. Deliveroo did not help one bit at all either. Do not buy from here.

I live in an accommodation and I read the Google reviews and got very worried about my order. I also checked tracking and it had said it had been delivered when it hadn’t, I don’t know if they read reviews but please do not do this. Nevertheless, it did come, they called me and I collected it. It also didn’t take long, 40 minutes? But they really need to fix their number as it does not work and people need reassurance on their orders. I will be reporting this to Papa Johns.

If I could rate 0 stars I would!! Absolute fraudsters!! I placed an order last night at 10pm with papa johns, they took the money straight out my bank as always and accepted my order. The tracking said 10:40pm estimated arrival which never changed. I called them at 11pm as we still hadn’t had the food me and my partner both called numerous times no answer. We went to bed at 1:30am as we were watching a film I have just looked and they have lied and said they delivered our food at 12:40!! Absolutely fuming!! £70 and we have had nothing and to lie and say it’s been delivered! Absolute disgrace need closing down!

Placed a order online at 17:49. Driver turned up at 21:05. Pizza was luke warm and we have had to reheat it. The Jalapeño poppers looked nothing like they do on the menu (pictures of both below). Called repeatedly, calls kept going to a EE voicemail. Terrible service. Won’t be using again

Be cautious of this place if you are ordering online through apps such as just-eat. I had placed an order, a little over £50, and after 10 minutes had lapsed outside the delivery window I requested an in app update. Nothing! Another 10 minutes lapsed, I called. "Where's my order?" I asked, "Oh I cancelled that 5 minutes after placing the order because I don't have a driver." Came the reply. OK, so no refund, no notification from Just-Eat, no nothing. I'm willing to bet that this is not the first time they've done this, so I would exercise extreme caution with this untrustworthy establishment. Oh, also Just-Eat, too. They are just as untrustworthy, but that's another story.

Placed order online,after an hour it was been quality checked after coming out of the oven. 15 mins later it was still haven't changed, I rang the landline over 30 times for no-one to answer the phone for a simple explanation. This left with no choice but to drive to the shop online to find out that the man was on the shop alone with 28 order and only had 1 driver. We're was awful, not using this place e ever again. No compensation for waiting hours and for me going out if my way on my sons birthday,awful ending to a great day Il be leaving a review everywhere for people to boycott this place

Food was never delivered. They never answered the phone. The restaurant should cease trading. Gave 1 star as it is impossible to give 0.

I also said before they need more staff the guy on how make pizza base and he doing till with same hand and he take money with same hand. His full dirty with flour and same hand he take money from customers which is unacceptable and Unhealthy so plz put more staff the person on till stay all the time on till Thanks

Wrong pizza delivered told replacement would be sent 45 minutes later told car broke down then told order was cancelled and refunded but no refund received terrible service will never order from here again and want my refund as promised!!!

I can understand the bad reviews. I've ordered from here many times, and it is completely hit and miss. One time, I was waiting over two hours, and as an apology they put a 500ml bottle of pepsi, which I thought was a little underwhelming. Another time, they forgot our drink, and we then had to wait at least another hour for that to arrive. Yesterday, I ordered, and the food arrived within half an hour. The food itself I have never had a problem with- usually warm/hot, and cooked as we asked. Consequently, it seems ordering from here is a complete roulette.

They need to put more staff I am did collect pizza after 25 min but they did make my order. They told me come back after 20 to 25 min but it's not ready. I request put more staff there is only one person to make and one person to deliver

Over cooked very dry. Ordered on line but if they have the same customer service as the delivered driver didn't say one word, not hello or good bye, here is your pizza. I mean nothing at all. Never again

On my sons birthday ordered Pizza. Waited for a long time but no one turned up. Hence went to the shop it was shut few minutes before as per next door restaurant owner. Took three weeks to return my money into my account without any apologies for spoiling my sons birthday party. Not even wort a single star but as you have no option to post a review had to give one. Stay away.........................

Pizza crust tends to be on the dry side... Some folk are into that I guess.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT Order 2 time and both time disappointed. Cold food and taste nasty like they using old pizza dough or may be toppings. Call them 3 time and still waiting for call back from management. totally waste of money and your weekend vibes . Not recommend.

Really stunned at the bad reviews, we’ve ordered from papa johns regularly and can’t fault it. The website is easy to use, great offers available, pizzas delivered piping hot and the special garlic sauce is so so tasty! Thanks to the lovely delivery driver tonight, you all do a great job! Will definitely continue to use!

Sent the wrong dips, offered the correct ones with our next order and when the next order comes we have zero dips and the wrong pizza. They refuse to pick up the phone and clearly they do not care about all the 1 star reviews they are getting. They've only been open a short while but they should just give it a up and shut the shop, utterly disgusting!!

They are not good don’t buy from them, very rude set of people ,they burnt the food and when you ask for change they insult you and they are racist people . When they decide to re delivered it was half eaten pizza they drop for my kids and it’s already been eaten half way . Don’t order from them .

Ordered Pizzas and sides, took 2 hours to turn up with it and the food was stone cold, can’t tell you what it tasted like because I sent it back with the delivery driver. Staff are rude and hardly ever answer the telephone. Waste of time, get a Dominos!

If I could give this place a -0 I would! Ordered a pizza for delivery which took over an hour, no answer from the shop whatsoever. When the pizza eventually arrived it looked absolutely awful, it was very cold, watery sauce and tasted really bad and was falling apart, ! Never order from this Particular place ever - it was my first and my very last ...I don’t usually write bad reviews however today I have received bad service, bad food and a whole lot of pizza which has ended up in the bin. Trading standards really do need to make a trip to this particular Papa Johns!

2nd order from Papa John’s 1st time pizza was good wedges very poor. 2nd order very poor all round, pizzas tasted like a frozen supermarket type pizza cheese had set & was cold toppings & sauces were bland ( waited over 70 mins for delivery) very disappointing.

Ordered a pizza to arrive for a certain time. It was 10 minutes late (not a big deal) The order was wrong, and everytime I tried to ring them them to rectify the order they decline the call. Absolute joke. Wish I read the reviews before ordering.

Asked for a red onion and pineapple, got red onion and pepperoni, after asking for it to be changed the man serving turned round to his work friend and spoke in a different and the other man started laughing

On my first order the pizza was incorrect but to be fair to them they did return with the correct pizza quiet swiftly. However I then ordered again and the pizza didnt have the right topping and the cookie was cut up into ridiculous portions, looked like it had been some by someone not looking or who just didnt care. I called to mention about the pizza and was told oh sorry we dont do that pizza anymore the best we can do is give you the pizza you want next time. Eventually they agreed to bring me an alternative pizza but this was after much discussion on the phone which also includes asking me how many slices of pizza I'd eaten before calling. Obviously none, I can tell a pizza is not correct as soon as opening the box. It's a shame as the pizza is actually tasty when they get it right.

2nd time ordering, gave them a second chance, but no change, food cold when arrived, driver was given no change, expected me to have the correct money to pay, they shouldn't expect that, spoke to supervisor on phone, he wanted me to give them more money £5.00 more than want the bill stated and told me they would send someone back with change, don't agree with that, driver we had refused to come back, she didn't have enough petrol in car, also the wrong size bottle of pop was delivered, will not use again,

Had pizza twice and both times everyone on the house had sores on their mouth. Need a Health and safety review.

Second time I've ordered pizza with barbeque base half and half again has been given wrong staff dont listen what I'm asking for isnt hard.

First time ordering from here. Food was cold, gave us the wrong drinks and failed to tell us that they didn't have something in that we had ordered and gave us something different. Not going here again

Tried this these again. I believe have a solution. The pictures of the pizzas on the wall need to be lowered to head height. They don't look at them while making the pizza. Feel sorry for the owner. Must have cost a fortune for the franchise.

No confirmation email about my order until after I rang the store about it being ready. The is food is absolutely awful, the pizza is very bland and the garlic dip smells and tastes like melted butter. Completely unsatisfied with my experience, especially with the food being ridiculously overpriced. Definitely sticking to Dominos.

Dreadful. Took over 1 hour to deliver on a sunday. I called the shop 3 times and 3 times they said it'll be five minutes for delivery. The manager offered the same order for free, when I called to claim my free order they told me the manager didnt say that. Never use again rather go to wilenhall branch

Not happy. Ordered at 5:30pm for the food to not be delivered until 8pm when it stated it would be here at 6:35pm. For then the driver to claim we never paid, when we had. The pizza was cold and not all of our order had came.

Bit of a shambles to be frank, they need serious training. I walked in and they were actually singing loudly and dancing. Who does that at a pizza joint.

The staff definitely need training no gloves on whilst preparing food. They need smart uniforms scruffy jeans and trainers. Scraps of paper on floor need i go on. Not a fan of pizza nothing special considering it has just opened looks a tired place after only 3 weeks of opening
