Papa John's Pizza in Warwick

Worst delivery service I have ever had in my life. They literally scammed us, we paid 33 for an xxl pizza, 2 sides and a dessert. They brought us a large pizza and 2 sides. They said the manager will be back tomorrow with our refund and of course he hasn't. Everytime I call they say the manager is out and he'll call me back, eventually they started hanging up on me as soon as I heard their voice. They are absolute scum.

We haven’t tried the pizza yet, but Mounika was great. Her friendliness and help with ordering was brilliant. She went above and beyond. Thank you Mounkia, we’ll be back.

Extremely rude worker on entry. Awkward atmosphere. When we saw a pizza on the side we didn't know if it was ours because the worker didn't tell us. We left saying have a good day and the worker completely blanked us. Pizza was nice but not so much the service

Ordered 2 large pizzas to be delivered. They were half and half pizzas. One side of a pizza was not completed. I rang Papa John's and was told by a woman that they were sorry for the inconvenience, then she hung up on me without trying to resolve it. Very disappointed in her manner and poor customer service skills!

Normally good. But I ordered food to collect at 22.45, went to collect at 22.40 and the store was closed. Haven’t had a refund or any compensation. Not good enough when they advertise they’re open until 11.

Lovely pizza I had the Greek one really nice as I am a vegetarian much better than dominoes tastes fresh and staff are friendly

THE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE!! Ordered twice in the last four week and both time the orders went completely wrong. First time cold pizza was delivered after a 50 mins wait. Second time a system fault apparently caused the order not to come through. When calling the branch, Indian woman lied to us on the phone when saying the order could be made over the phone. After a 40 mins initial wait, were told pizzas would come. Another hour and nothing happened. I can absolutely not believe how horrific this service is! Stay away!! Papa John should be ashamed about this service.

The best pizza in the whole of Wawrickshire. Delivered straight to your door. Bit expensive though.

Had a issue with order when trying to sort it out the employee put the fone down in mid conversation . Will not be using a place with such poor customer services again .

Just tried to place a massive order and apparently their system doesnt recognise our postcode. We tried several times but computer said no! We only live a mile away! Had to go to dominoes...shame!!

I tried Papa John's tonight as a sceptical alternative to our main staple domino's 2 for Tuesday offering. The order process was just as easy as normal And arrived within 22 minutes, which is above average in this area. Upon the very first bite, I can tell you the flavours and texture were far superior to that of which we were used to. The cheese is exceptional with a fantastic bite, the dough was soft with a lovely flavour all on its own and the meats just sang to compliment the trio of delightful offerings. The 3 previous reviews are a typical sign of exactly what is wrong with kenilworth Town, shining through with stuck in the mud attitudes and a fear of all things new. Roll on Papa John, u'll keep this town from gathering moss.

Polite and respectful delivery. Since Pizza Bella closed, we tried the other mainstream competitor and were very disappointed. We thought we'd give Papa John's a try for once. We both really enjoyed it. Dough was light and fluffy, fresh tasting. Topping was generous and some good slices of chicken on the one that I had,the other was was apparently thick with topping. We both liked that the base gave a nice hint of tomato flavour, but wasn't overpowering, or put on so thick that it made the pizza soggy. Not at all greasy either. The little free buttery, garlic dip is nice too. Lovely dough, generous toppings and cheese...what's not to like? Will be making it a regular thing. EDIT: Constantly good Pizza.

I thought I would try Papa John's, in Kenilworth, as a change. For the price of the food, which was more expensive than my usual outlet, I was shocked at just how cheap and bland the pizza was. In fairness, it was edible but comparable to a budget range pizza that you might buy in Iceland, for about £3. The peppers on the pizza were also undercooked. I also wasted money on very overpriced sides (for what were received) that were again nothing special. These were also ruined by a garlic sauce that is truly one of the worst things I have ever tasted. Unfortunately, having tipped the sauce over them I just ended up having to throw them away. The sauce itself was vile and tasted like something based on very cheap margarine mixed with mouldy garlic powder. The aftertaste stayed with me and repeated on me for the whole evening. I complained to the branch, who were OK on the phone but could do nothing about it - including fulfilling my reasonable request to refund me for the ruined sides only, as the pizza was edible. I also then complained directly to Papa John's customer services (via their online form) and received no follow up call or email at all. My inbox is now being bombarded by junk mail from this company and their unsubscribe process seems ridiculously slow. I also received an email asking if I had received follow up to my complaint, which made me laugh. I shall never order from this company again. It is a shame, as I had previously tried pizza from this company, several years ago (which someone else had ordered) and I do not recall it being this bad or overpriced. The order process and delivery time was very good, at least. Personally, I would avoid this place. In fairness, I may just have been very unlucky with my pizza choice. The undercooked peppers, horrendous garlic sauce, overpriced pizzas and sides and complete lack of customer service and follow up on complaints is totally on Papa John's though. If they do not seriously improve and soon, they will not be in business long. I will certainly not be ordering from them again.

I like pizza, but what is served up by this takeaway, is exactly what gives pizza a bad reputation as stodgy fodder. The base (supposedly thin crust) was substantial and stodgy. I guess they are the mass-produced preformed dough shapes. Everything tasted like poor quality tinned ingredients, especially the tomato base. I should have guessed when I saw the cheese “options”. There were 3, (cheese, vegan cheese or no cheese). The manufactured American yellow fat blocks come to mind. As for the sides…. Not a salad in sight. Dough things with cheese or deep fried things. We tried a couple of the offerings but couldn’t eat them. They were deep fried tasteless fodder.

There were two problems: 1. the pizza was supposed to be thin crust - it wasn’t it was normal thickness and a very mediocre pizza. The best thing I could say about the pizza, was that it was better than the ‘sides’. 2. The side dishes were atrocious. The potato lumps were tasteless pap and the cauliflower florets, had obviously been deep frozen and were also tasteless. Both sides were thrown away. This was a first experience of Papa John’s and it’ll be our last…

Tasteless and very bad pizza base. Don't bother.

Arrived very quickly so can't fault the service, but a deeply unimpressive pizza. Very heavy on onion and mean with other incredients. Base was very mediocre. I've had much better pizza from Aldi. Won't be returning.
