Papa John's in Epping Forest

I placed a order and forgot something called up and there was no way off cancelling order so a lovely staff member ateeq added what I wanted to the order and paid out he’s own pocket thank you

I found Papa Johns Loughton very helpful. The app wasn’t working and my local Papa Johns was not answering my call. When I ordered there was a confusion on my part on what pizza I wanted. Ateeq who served me said “no problem” and made me the pizza I wanted. Really happy with the customer service.

DONT GET FOOD HERE!! We found HAIR in our pizza, they denied a viable hair on the food and I’m bald. Staff very rude and has no manners, didn’t even apologise and had so much attitude. Customer service is 0%.

We ordered our Papa John's Pizza, to collect (to try and avoid wait times at home). We arrived 20 minutes after ordering the pizza, to find that in fact although they cknowledged that the pizza order had been received it had not been prepared. I was then asked to wait. I noticed that the person on the till was handling money, cards etc and touching food without any hand washing. Other workers in the background seemed to be equally unhygenic in their food preparation practices. In the worse case I saw something, a topping, dropped on the floor briefly and picked up and used on a pizza. The topping on my pizza was wrong and inadquately cooked. When I mentioned what I had seen I was greeted with surly rudness. I will not be using this branch of Papa Johns again.

Went in there 7/10/19 had a medium Mexican pizza and I have to say it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had but the disappointment was the free garlic dip. When I opened it it didn't look right or taste right. But I will still give if 5 stars for the excellent pizza

Delivery driver arrived at my house with no drink.. his excuse was “we didn’t have that drink, what one do you want” while his foot was up against my wall. When I called up to complain the person on the phone said “well I can get you another drink but it will take a while” this is disgusting service and I will never be ordering from here again. Been a customer for years. This was the final straw.

Waited nearly 2 hours for our food to arrive when we were told it would be 45 minutes, staff at the restaurant were declining our phone calls after finding out we were calling about the wait time and then pizzas and sides were cold when they finally did arrive! Will never be ordering a Papa Johns again!

Thin and crispy crust delicious tomato sauce plus a large portion of pepperoni with out having to add more Great service and a very quick delivery

I like Papa Johns, consistent quality and always quick delivery. The mobile phone ordering doesnt really work so always end up using my laptop, that needs making simpler and easier. Otherwise love the Veggie garden Pizza and the Peperoni, winner !

We ordered 2 pizzas, they delivered one wrong. When we rang them to let them know, they said they will send the correct one over. The children had already taken a slice each of the wrong one so we let them eat it. When they redelivered the correct one they asked for the wrong pizza back. We said that we can give them the pizza minus the 3 slices the kids had eaten but they refused saying they need the whole pizza back. We explained that it was not possible as the kids had eaten some of it but we can give them the leftovers from the plate. Again they refused saying it is company policy and that they have rectified the mistake. I explained that they had not rectified the mistake of making us late for our lunch and told them to take their new pizza back. Rude people and the end result - we have the wrong pizza, so problem was not rectified!

We've used this place a few times and the pizza is pretty terrible every time and that's if they get your order correct in the first place. The toppings all sound very nice but they don't take the time to prepare them properly so it's like eating slop. The sides are hit and miss, mainly miss. The pizzas are never cut properly either which is a pain.

It arrived steaming hot which was a good start. The sides (jalapeno cheese bites and chicken poppers) were fine. However, the pizza was awful; and when I mean awful, I mean AWFUL. It was a new variety -- sweet and sour -- which allegedly contained chicken, pineapple, peppers and other ingredients. Well, it definitely had pineapple in it, and cheese, and more cheese,. The chicken was hiding, that's all I can say. In fact, if there was more than a mouthful of chicken in there, I would be exaggerating. It was sickly sweet and quite frankly inedible. So, noting the claim on the box that if you are not happy with your pizza you could get another delivered straight to your door, I contacted the branch. A very pleasant manager spoke to me. Very polite, but insisted that he had made the pizza himself and had put the right amount of chicken in it. There was no offer of a replacement; just, if I ordered again I would get a free side or something. Needless to say, I won't be ordering again.

On time order right and very hot. Can't fault it . Have seen some negative reviews but I had no problem at all.

Pizzas arrived nearly an hour late for a kids party. Delivery driver got lost, no apology and hungry kids. Never again. Would give it 0/5 if I could.

Food was tasty but cold. Delivery was due to be with us @ 12:40, did not arrive until 13:20. Store and delivery driver lied about the whereabouts of the order. Extremely disappointed with the service received.

Very quick, tasty and hot. Bit expensive for what it is I think. I think if it was cheaper more people would order instead of buying supermarket fresh pizza.

Very long wait. Poor communication. Said delivered after an hour but it hadn't. Took 1 hour 40 minutes to arrive and the food was lukewarm. Told me on the phone that the food was '15 minutes' away but it was much longer. Extremely disappointing and won't order from here again.

I ordered my meal from papa johns off just eat and I put in my post code which it said this papa johns would deliver to me but then I got a phone call saying that they wouldn't deliver because I live too far away however I only live 15 minutes away, so overall they wasted my time when I could have ordered from another place and already have eaten!!!

The only problem I had with the pizza was that the cheese was overcooked.

The only problem I had with the pizza was that the cheese was overcooked.

They took my order and then an hour and half later they phoned me to tell me that they could not deliver as they do not deliver here so why is it on the site this was the first and last time i will use this site totally disgusted

After paying the delivery driver, he returned 10 minutes later demanding payment AGAIN. When I asked what he meant, he said that we did not pay him in the first place. So I showed him the exact change he had given me from a £20 note and he became very aggressive demanding more money. I called the shop and explained and they were unhelpful until a manager called me to say the driver had been sacked. Of course I do not believe this! When I asked what they were going to do about the fact our food was now stone cold after standing on the doorstep arguing with their driver for half an hour I was told they would not offer a refund as the driver said we did not pay in the first place!!!!! Shocking!!!! And he then said that even if we did pay the driver, the company have not received the payment so they could not give a refund. Couldn't believe my ears!

This is the first and last time I order from here! Where do I start? Delivery took 1 hour 50 minutes. They didn't answer their phone for 45 minutes and when they finally answered they hung up on me when I queried where the food was. But the food was hot on arrival even if the peri-peri chicken pizza was missing the chicken!!!!!!!! I felt really sorry for the delivery driver as I'm sure he gets angry customers on every delivery. FAST FOOD - no where close

Third time I have ordered from here and last 2 times they took over 2 hours but this time it was here in an hour but the food wasn't very hot it was warm but not hot but still really nice food best pizza takeaway for sure

The food was good but the £11 small pizza and the £17 medium were exactly the same size. Paid extra £1.25 for jalapeños and only got them on half the pizza. So spent in total £18.25 for one "medium" pizza. Ordered Pepsi Max (no sugar) and got normal Pepsi. Again the food was nice and delivery was very prompt but for the price would 100% not order again. And this was a discounted price also, still not worth it.
