Papa John's in Lewisham

From order to delivery it took too long (almost an hour) and the pizza was warm

Food was meant to be be delivered between 18.10 & 18.40. it arrived at 19.15. made several calls & was told driver on his way when he obviously wasn't. On the last call, I stayed on hold whilst the restaurant located the driver but I could here the person dealing with other orders. Eventually food arrived but was cold. Really disappointed.

Pizza was not cooked professionally.. semi cooked pizza I received.. tasteless

Pizza was ok, delivered with a smile, but for the money I would look else where, smelt a little bad too, guess it was the garlic sauce, which isn’t very nice!

I called the restaurant after an hour and 10 min had gone by & it still hadn’t been sent.

We rang the restaurant. Found the person Calum Campbell rude when we said we were unhappy with the order being late. He told us that we could refuse the order. The order still has not arrived

The delivery was 30 minutes late and when I contacted the shop it was difficult to get any information out of them.

The food was excellent it was delivered early and hot and although a 2nd order came by mistake the delivery driver was very polite friendly and apologised for the mistake and left the 2nd pizza free of charge so thank you very much phisa ( I hope I remembered your name right) truly excellent service 1000 thumbs up

Was about hr 30 mins late due to delivery guy not reading the address right . Was rectified and lady on phone was apologetic and sorted it out 4 me

The food was unbelievably disappointing for the cost. Nearly £14/pizza, the smallest size on offer with hardly any toppings. There are many other places offering larger, high quality sourdough pizzas for less money. I will not be ordering from papa johns ever again!

Papa John’s could have been more generous with their Pizza topping - especially with the tomatoes which were rather scant!

Pizza was meant to arrive at 21:10 it is now 22:46. I have tired calling the store but no answer. So I don't know what has happened to my order, It does say it has been delivered. :(

I must say I’m truly disappointed, all the pizzas came incorrect, the toppings all mixed up and the chicken tots did not even arrive. My XXL meat feast was literally medium. I tried to gain a full refund for the horrible service and all I receive is a quarter of it, disappointed in papa johns.

I ordered for the first time after s friend told me they did vegan food, I recently went vegan and I'm a massive pizza lover, so thought I'd leave to miss out... Not so!! Food was quick to deliver, hot, and tasty! Thankyou! Will order again soon!

Had to chase up the restaurant, they were late, they took ages finding my order, when it arrived it was nearly cold and rubbery, will not order from them again

Absolutely disgusted at the service provided. Delivery was not made at all. It should have arrived at 17:25 then delayed to 18:30. Then I had to ring x3 times to be told it was on the way to then ring again at 19:50 to be told they dont even no were the order is as it's not been done or with the driver. I would never again come to this place. I've wasted £30 for absolutely nothing. Beyond Poor service. I would give No stars at all but will not allow be to submit.

The pizza was hot and freshly cooked

Ordered collection by accident, called to change to delivery or cancel - staff were rude and told me it was not their problem. Disgusting service.

I specifically asked for 8pm delivery when I ordered at 6:30pm because I take meditation before meals and we weren't that hungry at the time. They added half an hour to the delivery time then turned up just a few minutes after 7pm! The food was ok but the dips were wrong and the ice cream was quite soft like a McD's milkshake. When I called to complain their attitude was "oh well, too bad, we've delivered it now. Don't like it? Complain to just eat. It's their fault anyway"!? I've used other branches of Papa John's and never had this problem. Won't be using them again.

Pizza arrived at a complete different address to that on the order, it had exceeded the delivery time & the driver didn't offer a fresh pizza, despite my note to the driver requesting a fresh/piping hot pizza, the driver was incredibly impolite

Pure Extortion! Definitely not worth the money. Pizza base like cardboard. For the money paid, this pizza was tiny. I guess with papa john, you are paying for the adverts and the brand. Very disappointed.

Restaurant added on 20 mins delivery time and was then over 15 mins late. When I called the restaurant they informed me that the driver would be here soon.. no apology no confirmation of delivery time

The pizza was extremely nice however the roasted chicken wings tasted like they were cooked a couple days in advance.

Delivery was originally pushed back 15 minutes, fair enough. But then it didn't turn up until 20 minutes after the *revised* time, and when I called to find out what was going on (it was coming from 5 mins away by bike) first I told I'd "misheard" them when I called the first time, then "Oh sorry, yeah that's what I said, maybe the driver's getting petrol". At least when I finally got it, the pizza was still warm and my 7up wasn't the one dropped on the floor from height. Apparently I'll get a discount if I call next time - shame I was the one who had to suggest it.

Awful on all counts. As soon as we ordered they added 40 minutes to our delivery time - meaning in total it was about 1hr 20mins for a couple of pizzas - definitely wouldn't have ordered from here had we known. Order came without drink which had to be brought separately. When it did arrive it was wrong, but couldn't face waiting longer for just a drink. The pizza was totally overcooked, burnt and dry, and the base tasted of nothing more than tomato purée. Pretty terrible all in all. Never ordering from here again.

More than an hour the supposed delivery time, but it still isn't here...

They added 20 minutes onto my delivery and the food was cold.

This wad the first time I ordered from Papa Johns and I was extremely dissatisfied with the service and overall conduct of the restaurant. Not only did I have to wait 1hr 45mins for my food, when it arrived it was luke-warm (nearing cold) and they had forgotten part of my order. When I asked for a refund, they offered to send me out a new pizza but I had to wait another 40 minutes for it (which would have probably turned into another hour & 45.) by which time I would have left the house. To put this into context- When I rang them after an hour and 10 minutes of waiting, I was told the driver was out and on his way to me. Half an hour later and no sign of my food, I ring again and he says the same thing. He tells me he will ring the driver and see where he is and will ring me back...10 minutes later and no call back, I have the call them back to ask the question for the third time . I have done the journey from my house to Papa Johns and it takes 8 minutes in a car, 15 MAX with traffic. There was no reason why it should have taken 40 minutes. To cut a long and very annoying story short, I had to ring the manager back after a few hours where he tried to dissuade me from wanting a refund and offering me free pizza instead. No Thank you, certainly not after that. I am still waiting for my refund!!!!!

They didn't deliver my pizza and changed the status order as delivered. When calling them to see what has happened, they wanted to charge me £3 for delivery. It has been 1 day and my pizza is still on it's way. Horrible service !!!

I was unsure of how to rate the food quality. It was not bad, however I did leave a note for the restaurant specifying that I was vegan and not to put cheese on the pizza. I was very disappointed to open the box and see that they did in fact prepare it with cheese. In the past, they have kept the cheese off exactly as I asked. By the time I actually realised, it was too late for me to contact them and change the order unfortunately, so I do share some blame for not checking right away. I would still order again as I believe this was a simple mistake and I am usually completely happy with them. Hopefully this will not happen again as I do enjoy a good Papa John's pizza.

Ordered a bbq chicken pizza but came with no bbq sauce and it was cold

The delivery time was a bit longer than usual but I spoke with the restaurant and they explained the issue. The driver was very apologetic and helpful

The delivery driver was lovely and the delivery time was perfect but I am afraid to say that the food was not very nice. Firstly, everything was cold. Secondly, the pizza was a bit bland and the the corn was so over cooked that it was mushy! The corn was pitch black and inedible on one side too which was disappointing. I imagine most of the food was microwaved, for that is how t tasted. I would say that this food is not up to par considering the price. Will not be purchasing again.

The food was ok al always but I paid for two garlic special dippers and just received one of them. It's not the firts time that this happened, they need to pay more atention with the orders because we are paying for somethig to get it with our meal!!!!

The garlic cheesey sticks was fantastic. But They should take orders of any items over the delivery amount. I should be able to order a few sides without any mains over the amount with out getting a call to buy a main or pay £3 delivery, (order was over £13)when iv already got over the required amount.

Everything was above average... but they forgot my ice cream ... so I called up and informed them of their mistake... told me he would send his driver again... still no frikin ice cream... not happy

Just eat said the order had been accepted. the payment was taken. It said it would be delivered and an hour later it claimed it had been delivered. No food arrived. I phoned the restaurant who said that they didn't deliver to my area and that there was another papa johns nearer meso they just cancelled orders without telling the customer. According to Just-eat website they've still taken payment though.

We left a message/note asking for the delivery man to call us and not ring the bell, they had rung the bell which had disrupted our neighbours, so late in the night. It has happened over 4 times, they have disappointed us again.

ABSOLUTE TRASH !!! it says you need £9 for delivery and then I called them and told them I am waiting for my food after TWO HOURS! They said I didn't order pizza ! Charged me! Removed the money from my account ! Had to call JUST EAT for them to give me my refund ! ABSOLUTE TRASH
