Been to Papa Browns 3-4 times over the past 12 months. I always get the ranch burger. I'll break it down in stages. 1. Ranch burger: - last 2 times it was good but not excellent compared to the 1st time I got it. I believe the reason is as follows. The 2nd time I went at peak time and I believe burgers were pre-prepped as opposed to being cooked fresh. It had that reheated taste about it. Still nice. 2. 3rd time the ranch burger was good, however there was too much. To many onions, sauce etc. Sometimes less is more. Staff: Always found the staff pleasant and helpful...REALLY nice. 3. Atmosphere: I like going after the rush as its not as crowded. Staff do at times stand and have a chat, so what as soon as you call them they're very attentive. Nothing worse than Staff hovering over you every 2 minutes. So, would I go back? I would say YES and maybe when ordering as for the chef/ cook to go easy on the onions and sauce. ( fish 'n'chips looks good and s always 1st class) according to she who must be obeyed.

Service good, food ok but it was a bit on the chilly side.

Papa browns used to be good, vegetarian menu is very poor now. For some reason they took the vegetarian burger off the menu which was a really good dish. Today I got the vegetarian curry which seemed to be a packet of frozen veg with an unpleasant curry sauce on it. We had hoped to get a dessert but noone came near us for a long time. Won't be going back.

I've been here many times and it has never let me down. Food is delicious.

Just had lunch in papa browns and the food was very good, staff are friendly and price was pretty good.

Love coming to PAPA Browns it's relaxing food is always especially the Christmas fair i didn't enjoy eating it from a bowl next time I'll ask for a dinner plate so i can see the food laid out, great staff are so friendly and helpful it's our go to restaurant.

First time eating here yesterday and as a fussy vegan I was pleasantly surprised. The menu was great, staff knowledgeable made me feel comfortable and not embarrassed when I checked an item on the menu. This reassurance was very welcoming. Beautiful Christmas atmosphere, lovely decorations and fantastic tree in the foyer. Great job everyone. Highly recommended and will be back soon. Thanks again ♥️

Love it, the steaks are tasty and always done to perfection but try the mushroom sauce for the steak...delicious. Excellent cocktail list, waiter very helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend Update: Their 3 courses for £27 xmas deal is back.

Good classic food,from burgers to lasagne, chicken, or steak.Whatever your choice, there is something for everyone and a good selection of children's meals. Can be very busy at times,but usually a table free.

Lovely food, I had the tastiest lasagne I've had for a long time. I even went back and had it again a couple of days later! My friend really enjoyed the chicken sizzler!

We were seated right away and our order was taken promptly. The food came out quickly (That is why I gave 2 stars instead of one). All was downhill after that. We ordered a few appetizers to share. The potato skins (there were 2 of them). They should have melted cheese with bacon sprinkled on the top. The first one was an OK mix (not much cheese but did have some) the second one had absolutely no cheese at all (I guess they forgot it?! It’s an important ingredient) It was just a carved out potato with a mountain of bacon piled inside of it. Potato skins are one of my favorite appetizers and these are the worst ones I’ve had. We also ordered the chicken strips which were mostly over cooked and rubbery (there was one larger one that was Ok). We never saw the guy after that he never came back to check on us or ask how the meal was. I guess you pay at the front? We were not sure as no one ever came back or brought a bill to the table so we just walked up to the front and asked for the check. I will also mention, it was NOT busy. The guy that was serving us mostly just stood behind the bar.

Food was amazing!! Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Would highly recommend. Never disappoints.

Food was lovely tablets are very close to eachother and its a light airy restaurant so everyone can hear you talking to your group which isnt overly bad but just uncomfortable but staff were nice good menu

Really great place for brunch in a beautiful building. Reasonable price and big booths that fit our teenage family of five easily. Lovely servers and nice food. Not too noisy when we were here, but still a nice atmosphere. Wonderfully clean and smart toilets too!

Never had a bad meal, service was very good. Menu a bit different from the normal diner fare. Good for a change.

Called in for Dinner Thursday night ..Food was ok although could have been a bit warmer.. Haven't been here for some time found it was getting a bit grubby looking seats in need of a clean and a coat of paint needed on walls.Waiter could have done with an apron as his shirt was stained with food... Wouldn't be rushing back...

Great food with great service. I haven't been home in 5 years abd before I left this place was receiving rave reviews. Decided to stop in on the way past for lunch and wasn't disappointed. The food was well cooked, tasty and brought to us in a timely manner. We were checked on multiple times but, not too often by the friendly servers. Left feeling well fed and ready to continue our journey.

I took my mum and nephew for Sunday dinner the staff were brilliant and couldn't do anymore for us went in and we were taken to r table, the girl took r drinks then the starter after we finished that we gey r main course dinner finished the main course and down come pudding and then we had tea and coffee I couldn't say a bad word for papa browns better then sum of ur 5 star hotels, plz keep that up papa brown

Like to try different places to eat. I have been there a few times the only thing I can say is no one has ever come over to ask if the food is ok

1a Lokal, schöner Gastraum und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Karte hat sehr viele verschiedene Gerichte die sehr sehr gut schmecken. Ich werde wieder hingehen wenn ich im Urlaub bin.

Must Stop for Sticky Toffee Pudding! Best sticky toffee pudding on the island!! Staff was extremely friendly and seated us quickly. Soda bread with the All Day Breakfast is amazing as well. Will certainly return!!

Very disappointed there was no Scampi.

I ordered vegetable sizzles and it came out with chicken in it so the waitress took it away to get the right one but left my fries with me, so I had a choice eat them while they're hot or wait for the sizzler to come and eat them while they're cold! So I ended up eating the sizzler on it's own which wasnt the best. The side salad had slimy lettuce. Service was so slow we gave up on dessert. Plenty of staff on shift but not many actually working! I was very disappointed as I'd been before and it was lovely.

Food is okay but not amazing. All seems rather over priced for what it is but that's the way of the world these days. Most disappointing was steak sandwich. Asked for medium rare. Arrived well done and quite tough. If a grill can't cook a steak properly then we're in trouble! Not exactly cheap at £16.50 either. Didn't send it back because we didn't want the hassle but we shouldn't have to even think about it. Wasn't all bad, burger was fine although nothing to write home about. Service was pretty good. However, if one meal is under par it puts a dampner on everything and we left rather underwhelmed.

Criminally underrated restaurant. Lovely staff, delicious, comforting food and a really nice interior. Would 100% recommend.

Great gluten free fried breakfast in a lovely setting. We were in a bit of a rush and the stuff were very fast. Our kid was delighted with the American breakfast.

Waiter was excellent, couldn't do enough for us. Food was average as had to send back 2 meals due to the mash being cold, sorted in no time though and they offered an apology.

Got seated but not served we were left sitting for over 10 minutes while the staff chatted with friends. Finally got fed up waiting and left.

Had a great night out there with 15 of us, so they catered well and without any long delays. Staff were outstanding, they are the magic ingredient of PBs. One young man in particular, who was in charge of our table, is a credit to the place. No request was too much for him, and he really made our night. Well done.

Stood at the "wait here to be seated" sign for a minute or so while all the servers congregated in the kitchen (the restaurant was only half full). A young female server then asked us could she help us, then showed us to our table, our was taken quickly and we didn't wait very long until our breakfasts arrived. There wasn't any cutlery so I went to the bar to ask the first member of staff I saw for knives and forks she totally walked past me without answering so I caught the attention of a male server and asked him, he said I'll get them now for you then preceeded to show a couple to their table and then took their order. A few minutes had passed before we got cutlery then obviously our food wasn't as hot as it should have been. A very young and seemingly inexperienced staff working in this particular day (Sunday 29 Jan)

The food was perfectly acceptable. I had an omelette with garlic potatoes as a side. Omelette came with a small side salad. The staff were very pleasant and we were seated very quickly at a table of our choice. This was not too hard as the restaurant was practically empty - it was 4.30pm. My dining partner had chili chicken strips which according to her were very nice. I've only given 3 stars for atmosphere due to thr fact there was no-ond there so hard to judge. The carpark is ample and feeds on to an arterial route so it's easy to slip away.

After a 3 year gap, I was disappointed in our recent visit to Papa Brown's. (31/12/22). I thought that quality of the food has gone down while the prices have gone up

Great Christmas dinner, with a party of over 20 people. We keep going back every year because of the quality of food, great service and value for money.

Consistently good. Professional service. Good menu. Decent quality food. This place does it right.
