Really lovely food for our bottomless brunch, amazing pizza’s and sides, which were absolutely delicious. We were kept topped up with our drinks for the whole 120 minutes, with a varied menu to choose from. A lovely experience thanks to the amazing staff.

A local recommended this place, so my dancing friends and I decided to give it a try—and we definitely weren’t disappointed. The overall experience was lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious. Great spot to enjoy a proper Italian meal with friends!

What a lovely experience. I'm ashamed to say that I've only just discovered Panuozzos today and I can guarantee that I will be back again and again. Thanks to a colleague of mine who is a regular at this fantastic establishment for introducing me to this little gem. I had an incredible meal. The menu is wide and varied with something for everyone. Everything was absolutely first class along with the great service received. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great meal in Middlesbrough town centre.

Food was amazing and so was the service. All the waiters were lovely. one of them was called Gracie and she was amazing. Couldn’t recommend anymore!!!!!

Had booked a table of 2 for 8.30 this evening. Food was good, but will not be returning due to the frankly dreadful service from the FoH staff. I understand it not being a busy night and them hoping to have an early finish, however sweeping around tables at 9.30 is completely unacceptable. We were not the last table to arrive for the night with a table of 4 sitting down at 8.45. They were not given a full choice of the menu and said they were only allowed pizzas. During our meal, we were repeatedly bothered by the waiting staff, feeling as though they were hovering over the table. The last straw was when they started turning the lights off while tables were still in the building. If it was 11pm this would be completely understandable. However, it was 9.30. We had only been there an hour. During the evening, we counted that they came over on more than 10 occasions. This is not attentive service, this is patronising and overbearing. Due to the complete lack of service we will not be returning, which is unfortunate due to the good food.

I had a brilliant evening at the Appleby Hope and Matthews Christmas office part at Panuozzos. The food was excellent - I have no idea how you able to serve up such good food for a group of 40 odd people. Many thanks to you and Appleby Hope and Matthews.

First visit, which was on a Saturday night, it was very quiet when we arrived with only 2 other tables occupied. The service and food was excellent. I started with the Crispy sticky beef sirloin strips, soy honey sweet chilli & lime dressing, which was fresh and tasty, see photo. For my main I had Pan seared Duck breast, braised red cabbage, roast carrot & star anise puree with fire roasted plum & port sauce . This was equally tasty and was presented well.

I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your restaurant. During my visit, I encountered an issue with my booking reservation due to using an old phone number. While I’ve been to Panuzzo’s several times before and have never faced an issue, the behavior of the tall man with glasses behind the bar was disappointing. Instead of offering assistance or understanding, he was extremely rude, which made me and others I arrived with feel unwelcome along with that the waitress that evening overheard a private conversation and took it upon herself to go behind the bar and talk about the group of us in a poor manner… This negative interaction has unfortunately left me and others with a poor impression of your restaurant, and I am now hesitant to return or recommend it to others I hope you take this feedback seriously and ensure that customer service standards are improved in the future.

best pizza in middlesbrough and it is not close, friday lunchtime deal is fantastic value and so is their date night menu, can’t recommend this place enough, brilliant staff and atmosphere.

We had Sunday lunch here today and the food and service was amazing! Portion sizes are really big and the food just tastes unreal!! Would 100% recommend going here and I will be back!

Held our office Christmas do here and had a wonderful time. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with excellent food. They were very accommodating and the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all the team

We visited last night without a reservation. There was a lovely atmosphere and delicious food served by a friendly waitress. I had the chicken supreme, my husband had lasagne and my son a pizza. All very very happy with our food and we will definitely visit again when we’re in the area again.

Went here for Lunch yesterday & it was nothing short of exceptional. Ordered 2 Adult Sunday Lunches & 1 child's. All came in good time and presented well & generous portion sizes The best thing about it all had to be the taste. Been to multi locations now across Teesside & this place has to be the best Sunday Lunch we have had. Also one of the older kids didn't fancy a dinner so ordered pizza instead which he described as " the best pizza ever" All of the above came at a very reasonable price. We will be back again very soon. Keep up the good work

Dinner as takeaway, I got the steak, caramelised onions, and blue cheese sandwich, and it was otherworldly. I literally had a moment with the sandwich, just me and the bluecheese sauce lost in time together. Would buy this sandwich everyday.

Been tonight to celebrate our son passing out of the army, with family All staff where freindly, helpful and professional food was really nice especially belly pork bites and braised beef .

Ate here many times and the food is exceptional!! Selection is great, plenty on the drinks menu and always fantastic specials

Food was banging 10 out of 10. Restaurant week so 3 courses for £20. Both me and my partner really enjoyed our food. I got belly pork bites in sweet snd sour sauce this was gorgeous just the right amount sauce was tremendous. I had the braised feather blade steak with horseradish mash mash this was the star of the show. Eton mess to finish lovely to finish off a,fantastic meal. Big shout out to the waiter his knowledge and friendliness really made our night.

Can't fault this place. A must visit. First time visiting March 2023. Absolutely stunning venue, so beautiful and clean. Staff went above and beyond to make us welcome, comfortable and served. Food menu was full of choice, we went for a child's meatballs which were freshly prepared and a pepperoni and spicy veg pizza. Best food I've ate in our area and I'll definitely be back with the family and for our takeaways. Staff were amazing with my little girl which made our first visit even more enjoyable. Staff were happy at work and this came across whilst serving and checking on us. Can't wait to visit again , I'd advising booking as this place is popular.

Ate here first time tonight with Mother and friend. Ordered scallops (starter), beef ragu pasta and belly pork. Scallops nicely seared but only 2 on the plate and 3 prawns. Accept that scallops are expensive but using smaller plate might look less obvious the portion is tiny. Was really looking forward to a crispy belly pork - it was tasty but the skin wasn’t crispy, in fact it was almost too chewy to eat. The pasta was let down by being too dry. The menu mentioned tomato sauce but there was none, just beef and pasta. Enjoyed dessert of sticky toffee pudding served with ice cream. Two waitresses were friendly and efficient. I’d go again but I’d tell them to add sauce to the pasta rather than say nothing! Then I’m sure they’d improve but rated 7 out of 10

Visited last night around 5.30pm, overall the experience was good, some of the food was unbelievable but also a few bits to improve on. For Boro best Italian we have been to yet! The good • Friendly waiter & waitress • Italian Chicken Panouzzo was delicious & v fresh, full of flavour and chicken juicy • The Big meat pizza was v good overall • Garlic dip was unreal • Amazing handcut homemade chips • Good price for a Blood orange gin & nice garnish • best sun dried tomatoes we have ever eaten, v juicy and fresh Areas to improve • Garlic bread with tomato, had no real flavour of garlic & the tomato sauce was average. • There was a small paper piece of paper with bar code on it found in my GF’s Panouzzo. (Doesn’t take away from the great taste but reckless). • Food takes a fairly long time to come out, we were one of 3 tables, 2 had been served and the table took around 30-35 minutes, and still there was a few hiccups. • no honey dressing on the The big meat pizza • Wrong Panouzzo brought to table due to an error. In fairness they let us keep this and made another one but still a shame. • Moretti is Suprisingly expensive at £5.50

Myself and the Wife visited during the Teeside Resaurant week , was impressed with all the food served ( 3 courses each ) good quality food / ingredients , well prices and served in good time , will visit again , thaanks.

Despite ourselves (3 people ) been the only people in the restaurant and two other couples sat outside, the delivery of food was extremely poor. the meals were not served together and also offered the wrong meal brought to the table, one of our party ordered a side of truffle chips to accompany the chicken parmo, after asking three times they eventually arrived 20 minutes after the parmo, and they were tasteless. the bruschetta starter was tasty but was a very small portion. the side order of chunky chips was the best part of the meal. the Italian Panuozzos was burnt along one side (charcoal crumbs ) overall a very disappointed experience. the waitress was apologetic but the other staff (chefs didn't appear interested) RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY THANK YOU for finding the time to reply to my review, which I find is not a true reflection of our experience, and your timings you stated were incorrect. It is a bit concerning a kitchen mix up with only so few customers. I am well aware of the Panuozzos but it wasn’t just speckled it was charcoal burnt along one side .I hope other customers have a better experience than ourselves

Very mixed experience. Short staffed so a very long wait for food. The tiniest prawn starter we have ever seen, 3 prawns, half a slice of bread and few halved cherry tomatoes!!! When we asked if that was the correct sized portion, we were told that 'it's just meant to be a taster' The other starters we had, arrancini and belly pork, were really big portions and definitely worth the money. Pizza and seafood risotto were lovely. Carbonara and Panuozzos were tasty but quite dry. The salad leaves hadn't been washed so were gritty and inedible. We were able to order a main course belly pork but after about a half hour wait for mains were told there was none left and had to wait another 20 mins for all mains to arrive. Cocktails didn't taste like they had a lot of alcohol in them. Ladies toilets not particularly pleasant and piled high with several high chairs, you also had to navigate around a couple of beer kegs to get in to it. We weren't the only ones complaining about the wait tonight amd maybe we caught them on a bad night. We were given a free round of drinks to make up for the main not being available which was a nice gesture. Overall, pretty underwhelming and wouldn't rush back.

I really enjoyed my time at Panuozzos. Pizza was tasty, served fast, and truffle chips were a great side and something new to try. It's nice that they offer a student discount. The interior was suitable and looked nice. I definitely recommend to try this place. Great service, atmosphere, location and affordable prices.

Came down for Killers concert and had not booked anywhere for food so looked around for somewhere to eat and came across this place. Managed to get table for 2 just before the rush and so pleased we did. One of the best meals i have had in a long while. Highly recommend

Just had takeout pizza from here and some of the best Neapolitan style pizza I’ve had. Highly recommend and looking forward to dining in soon!

Dined here on 25/05/2022 at 5pm with 4 friends. The service and food was outstandingly good, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The staff are lovely too ! We have mutually agreed this is our go to place from now on.
