This restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is incredibly authentic and brings back fond memories of India with every bite. The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure you feel at home. Every meal I’ve had here has been nothing short of amazing – consistently delicious and satisfying. One of my all-time favorites is the Punjab Thadka, which is a must-try! Whether you choose the non-alcoholic or alcoholic version, it’s wonderfully refreshing and absolutely delightful. This place has truly earned a special spot in my heart, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Panjab is our favourite restaurant. The food is always awesome and the advice and recommendations. Can HIGHLY RECOMMEND… Malai chicken tikka, Gobi Manchurian and mixed balti. Every bite was exquisite. Thanks Panjab once again.

We attended for a meal, as a group of 17. The service was excellent from start to finish (very quick even for such a large group) and the food was even better. I had one of their speciality’s the ‘Malai Tikka’ which was lovely and I would definitely recommend as something different. I would like to mention Tamin who looked after, us and did a fantastic job, thank you, excellent service. Would definitely return.

I’ve eaten in Indian restaurants around the world and this one is up there in authenticity and quality. The people working there are incredibly friendly and the service excellent. Every single dish with delicious, complex and high quality. A gem in the local community.

Our family’s favourite restaurant with each visit being wonderful. The food has been great every time and the service is amazing. Was recommended a new curry, Garlic Chillin chicken by staff member Tamim which I thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to our next visit!

First time in this restaurant as I did not know it had re opened with new owners. Our waiter Tamim was very attentive and recommended some variations to the meals we had chosen. He explained that the style of cooking was from a different region of India than that which the previous owners of the restaurant would have offered. I can honestly say that my meal was the most fragrant blend of spices I had ever experienced. We will certainly be back to dine again and will be telling all our friends about the PANJAB Restaurant in Carryduff.

Booked a birthday party at last minute for approx 14 people. From the start to the end the staff were amazing and managed the booking with ease. They catered for everyone's needs on the night as some of us were vegan or had allergies. Can't recommend this place enough. If you like Indian cuisine you have to try this place.

Damim suggested several dishes and the portions were just right and food was excellent! We enjoyed our visit as we were staying just up the road and looked for different food. What a treat!

We all had a fantastic meal last night at Punjab. Tamin was very friendly and gave us lots of advice when ordering. Highly recommend the chicken 65... similar to Pakora but the flavours and the sauce were amazing. It is a pity that the restaurant wasn't busier. If you haven't tried the Punjab yet, it is definitely worth a visit.

Spent a Saturday evening in this fantastic establishment. Cannot recommend highly enough. Fantastic menu to suit all tastes. Staff very friendly and welcoming and able to recommend dishes even to the seasoned curry lovers!!. Also fantastic signature cocktails menu and party punch bowls for groups! 5 stars!! X

Specify ingredients that you include- I was unable to eat food because you didn’t tell me that recipe included mushroom - had I known, I would have asked you to exclude. Too expensive not to be able to eat.

Fantastic meal at Panjab this evening. Our Server Tamim provided us with alternative options to our normal orders that I’ve not seen available at any other restaurant, and every suggestion was delicious. The friendly and personable service made the meal even better, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you want great quality food and great service!

Had a wonderful experience here with my family served by Tamim. Although we had an idea what we wanted he helped guide us to some new options which we loved. The food was excellent and the venue had lots of space so we could feel like we had a private experience. Really great time.

The food was lovely me and my granny decided to stop in on our way home from Belfast for something to eat. The service was lovely and the food was really nice we ordered butter chicken and chicken korma and ate every bit of it.

Our family has been dining with the Panjab, Carryduff, for many years now. It is worth noting it has NOT EVER let us down! From takeaway, to sit in meals and family occasions we have been blown away with the incredible and diverse menu with a great range of veggie, meat and fish dishes that are always consistently on point. The price is right for this incredible food experience and fabulous and authentic hospitality. We are blessed that this our ‘local’ now as we previously would’ve travelled around the other south Belfast options with varying luck. An unusual location perhaps but the spacious ambience is great for casual and family occasion dining. Panjab, your staff and great food are greatly appreciated! Colin.

We had a great evening in Panjab. The food was authentic and excellent quality. The ambiance was brilliant. The kofta and the gobi Manchurian was incredible. There was a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Panjab is very kids friendly too. We will revisit!

Unreal dinner tonight at Panjab! I'm usually a simple Korma girl, but our wonderful server Kamim was able to recommend us some of the house specialties that were really delicious. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

And then to top it all off we got a complimentary glass of Bailies each and it was just the perfect Christmasy evening out!! 💖💖 Also my FAVOURITE is saag paneer and not many Indian restaurants actually do it! We had a wonderful dinner with some of the best Indian dishes we’ve ever eaten. Tamim was very friendly and helpful; he provided several recommendations, all of which were delicious. We particularly enjoyed the samosa chat and the pani puri starters.

Wouldn't even give the 1 star , ordered a takeout last Sunday, it was put in the bin the kebab meat was like thick chunks of microwave meat with no taste.the chicken pakora looked terrible colour dry as a bone like the meat sat all weekend until Sunday night.didn't wanna risk eating, the house sauce was the hottest thing iv ever tasted and not the normal colour of house sauce rotten they even forgot the salad.would not eat it if it was free will never order anything from here again ! From an apparent Indian restaurant it was vile

Slow with the food coming out but it was worth the wait . The waiter explained there was over 80 delivery orders in the last couple of hours! I asked should the people who make the effort and come to the place , not get preferential service over people who order on the phone ? Was lost on him ! However we enjoyed the food , ambience was great , warm and cosy and hot water in the toilets . Will be back

I can safely say the food and service here is up there for one of the best Indians in not only South Belfast but the whole of Belfast

It takes a lot for me to want to give any sort of negative review but after my last visit here I think this is warranted. Food is nice, not the best, but a few creative twists really help freshen up the dishes. The atmosphere is fine. But where I felt let down was service. The staff where rude, constantly trying to up-sell us on dishes, actually told us off for not finishing a dish, brought us food we didn't order then charged us gor it and repeatedly pushed us to buy alcoholic beverages. There are nicer and more subtle ways of doing this, but next time I'll probably pop into mcdonalds next door, at least there the staff won't force us to upgrade our meals or complain that we didn't finish something.

Wonderful evening meal with my daughter at Panjab Restaurant. Service was excellent with some top tips on what would compliment our curry choice. Really enjoyed mixed house starters and excellent Chicken Bhuna. Will definitely be returning soon!

We love Panjab, brilliant service, the kids love it, there is great parking and the staff are lovely! On our most recent visit we wanted to treat the family during a busy week near Christmas, we knew it would be amazing and it was, great service, good parking, and lovely food!

We booked Panjab on the way to a music gig in Belfast. I used to stop there years ago when I had business in Belfast. It was my first time sitting in and I wasn’t disappointed! The food used to be very good, is now fantastic. We definitely will return a lot sooner next time. A bit of a hidden gem.

This is not our first time in Panjab, and it is consistently 5-star service every time we go, so we are always bringing different friends with us to share the experience! The food is always hot, fresh and delicious and the staff are so friendly and polite! They do not rush, allowing you to enjoy your time fully whilst at the restaurant, and the music is great background atmosphere. Tamim was our server tonight and he is always full of smiles. Went last night never go back again . Starter was served had cold items .And waiter recommended Lamb Rogan Josh .More like Lamb Rubbish Josh .Bland funny taste like cooked in a microwave.Pretty sure it was made with Uncle Benns out of date jar Yuch Yuck Yuch 🤮

The food was really good, but just bear in mind that it takes a long time to arrive. It arrived about 1hr 30mins after I ordered, but it was a Friday night. Would definitely order again.

Our rice was missing and although we phoned and this was replaced it took 1hour for us to get our order corrected.

Chilli Sauce for the kebab tasted like someone had emptied a bottle of vinegar in it - made it not edible unfortunately.

Panjab is a modern Indian restaurant in a super convenient location, right above a 24 hour Spar. Don't let this put you off as the interior is super clean and modern. There are plenty of tables which can sit big groups with ease. I was eager to try this restaurant and was not disappointed by the selection and quality of the food or service. There is a clear section for vegan options and our server was able to help us with any queries. The food was delicious and with so many vegan options you could have a different dish everytime you visit! Overall I would definitely advise checking Panjab out 😊

We thoroughly enjoy our visits to Panjab. The good is brilliant and super tasty and full of flavour.

Had a family meal on Thursday 19th. Four couples. The whole evening was superb. Very attentive friendly staff. All the food was superb. They prepared two mixed starter platters one with meal one veggie. All delicious. The mains were also delicious. Lamb patio, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken curry. Garlic and peshawar naan. Will definitely go back couldn't fault anything.

I ordered a mixed kebab on naan. There was very little chicken, mostly lamb, which was like rubber. The kebab was drowning in sauce which made it sickening, and the naan was limp and soggy. Absolutely disgusting. Would not recommend.

Worse £40 spent ever for two main meals. Everything freezing the time it got to us and they even forgot the chips. We wont our refund for this!

Second time at Panjab. Wonderful. Food delicious and staff excellent. Lots of choice on the menu. Definitely try the cocktails, delicious.
