Omg yes. Worth a visit. Fast service to plate. Spotless and chilled environment. 4 star service as felt a bit rushed when ordering and when we asked a few questions answers from staff were a bit short with us. Cannot fault the food !! Plenty of room between tables.

Fantastic food. Cannot get over how amazing the food was.. the cocktails and the mocktails were fantastic as well. The ambience the choice of music and the cleanliness and the service was top notch. Great job guys ! Definitely recommend this place to all the Indian food lovers out there

This is an absolute gem of a restaurant and takeaway. The food is amazing, always fresh and bursting with flavour. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, we had a family takeaway tonight and everyone tried a bit of everything from the bhuna to the khurchan, it was out of this world!!!!!!

Stopped by for a couple of starters as a snack, almost choked when told the price. Beautifully situated above a petrol station.

Had heard about and had to try. My partner and I stopped off yesterday. The food was brilliant and the staff so attentive. Shown to our table and drinks order taken with menus left for our perusal. The choices were lots, and simple question of ‘what would you recommend’ was answered with confident expertise. The recommendations were brilliant - we settled for starters of squid and from the street food section, the cauliflower, followed by the Exotica Balti and the Gromi prawns - all food was top top class!! Well worth the trip from Newcastle - we’ll be back 👍

Very friendly staff, great selection of food and a real selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. It is also very nice that it is not too noisy and a great place to have a conversation over dinner

Fantastic quality food, the sizzling dishes, especially the Monkfish are totally worth trying for a change , Cobra on tap isca nice touch, staff friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommend a trip here.

Needs more custom. This place is great. Food very good, service efficient and polite, music good. Can't do much to enhance the atmosphere due to the shape of the building. Candles and different lighting might help

Panjab Restaurant catered both our wedding ceremony and reception. Gaganpal took great care of us right from when we had our initial tasting at the restaurant. We were so impressed with how delicious everything we tried was that we knew we had to choose Panjab. On the big day, both the food and the service were great. We had 140+ guests and many of them mentioned how tasty the food was and how personable and attentive the staff were. The pani puri (fuchka for us bengalis!) on shot glasses was a big hit. The tandoori paneer and lamb rara gosht dishes were favourites. Specific dietary requirements were also catered for, e.g. vegan. Would 100% recommend Panjab Restaurant - to dine in or for catering events! Thank you Gaganpal and team!!

First time ordering food out of this place. Heard it was good and it 100% is. Got the lamb tikka saag. Soooo good.

Their opening times need to be sorted. Had family over and tried to order takeaway for pick up on a Monday !! Even though they advertise they are open and do deliveries- they don't. It's such an easy thing to change. If you can't do this right then I will give your food a miss

We booked our table for 7pm and everything from beginning to end was perfect. The food was delicious and really hot. Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer. It was my daughters 30th and the waiter was happy to bring her cake out. Really happy with our experience as it was our first time at Panjab. We will most definitely be returning soon. To all the staff a huge thank you!

My husband and I visited this restaurant at the weekend and we really enjoyed it . Food was gorgeous and staff were friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back when we are in this area again

My friends and I decided to visit this restaurant after a long weekend of outdoor pursuits around Northern Ireland. Given our exploits, we were all tired and looking forward to a fine Indian meal to round out a great time. Unfortunately, this is where it took a bit of a turn. Initially, we were served promptly and kindly by the Panjab staff but this is where the efficient service ended. We had been in the restaurant close to an hour before our starters arrived, and when they did a lot of them were quite cold - albeit delicious. We decided not to make a fuss. Following this, there was another long wait for the mains, at least another half hour. The staff seemed under pressure as there were large piles of dirty glasses accumulating on the bar. We finished our meal and proceeded to split the bill individually. The waiter seemed very flustered and stressed but was kind enough to waive the service charge due to extremely slow service. However, he insisted a £40 balance remained. With long journeys home ahead for all of us, we were eager to leave quickly. The bill was settled and we departed. Afterwards, the receipt was examined and compared to our respective payments. It has been found that we were overcharged at least £25. For this reason, despite the delicious food, I cannot award a good review to this establishment. Akin to the acrid note of burnt spices, a most bitter taste was left in the mouth indeed.

I visited today 10 June 2023 with my family and my experience is very bad. It took so long to arrange a table and to serve the food. Specially we hand very bad experience with the staff and they are not trained at all to deal with kids.

Beautiful Indian food and more than enough vegan options. The vegan channa saag was particularly nice. Service was excellent too. We had such a nice meal we decided to go back the next night 😋

By far the best Indian restaurant in belfast and surrounding areas. Always well looked after by all staff. Good portions, Food is authentic with plenty of choice including vegan dishes. Good Drinks are excellent value too.

Masala sauces were very thin and watery on butter chicken and kadhai paneer. The naan was also very thin and crispy for some reason. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has lessened over the years.

My wife and I visited on Friday 24 Feb. We were quickly shown to a table and promptly provided with our menus, drinks and poppadoms. Our Tandoori mixed starters where fantastic, quality, flavour and presentation was excellent. Our mains were outstanding, plentiful and quality ingredients had been used. This was one of the best Indian meals we've had in some time and we will definitely be back. The welcome and service were warm and friendly and the whole experience was fantastic.

Kebab came cold after a long wait and they forgot my litre of coke i ordered. I rang and was told they would send someone down with it but when it arrived the bottle was already opened. Never had an experience where I’ve been given an already opened soft drink before.

Superb as always, carryout this weekend was just as good as the restaurant food . 5 stars all day long, thank you.

I ordered in and the delivery was extremely fast with my mutton biryani which was incredibly tasty and a large portion.

Dad here. If you are thinking of going here with your littles DO NOT! My eldest ordered the Creamy Jalfrezi and he dished out a ice chunk. He said the soup was ice cold also. My wife ordered the Hot Jalfrezi with no onions (she’s allergic) and the waiter said the chefs couldn’t take the onions out. We asked for a refund on her soup and they declined. My eldest also swears up and down he saw a roach on the wall and the and the place was almost infested with flys, one fell in my water. My Patia was ok though, nothing special. After we got home both my children experienced extreme food poisoning and my pregnant wife was having a lot of issues. NEVER EATING FROM HERE AGAIN.

We ordered the signature vegetarian stir fry noodles, chicken tikka madras and a few side dishes. I cannot recommend here more, lovely atmosphere and beautiful, authentic Indian food.

We got food delivered and it was really tasty and the frozen cocktails were also nice. The delivery had a curry missing but I was really impressed with how quickly they got the missing curry sent out to and sent an extra drink with it.

Used this restaurant for the first time on Bank holiday Monday evening. Our usual Indian was closed and we were sceptical about using another. I've got to say, we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the service from the gentleman who took our order over the phone, to the delivery guy was excellent. Really really good food and their prices are reasonable. Because of all this, we plan to use them a lot more. Will also plan to eat in, in the near future. Thank you for a lovely meal. Signed....person on The Old Saintfield Road.

Tuesday evening - called in for a take-away, decided to sit in. Excellent, the waiter was very attentive with a great sense of humor. Good food, Cobra on draught, good service, what's not to like. We will be back 👌

I’ve ordered for delivery a few times over the past year and got amazing food each time. I’ve just had a meal inside today and it was amazing. Best Indian I’ve had in NI (and I’ve tried a few) I completely recommend this place 9.5/10 for food, 10/10 for service and care. As long as panjab stays as it is, it’ll be my go to for Indians.

I visited Panjab two evenings in a row. They truly serve some of the best Indian food I've tasted. Excellent vegan options.

Very nice meal. Had Chicken Tikka Madras and there was really good with a decent kick off it. My wife had Butter Chicken and it was also very good. Would reccommend.

Had the loveliest meal here on Tuesday. Great service and the food was the best I have had in Belfast! Tried loads of Indian restaurants but this trumps them all. Reasonably priced, delicious, authentic food, will be back!

Update: So been working my way through the menu over the last few weeks and it’s still the best Curry house in Belfast. The Korma and Madras are fantastic and the Khurchan in the house specials is well worth a try. Best Curry House ever, no seriously I mean it. The food is fantastic it is now my once a week treat.

Panjab is quite simply Superb. The food and service are exceptional. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a very tranquil atmosphere. Nothing is too much bother for the staff, they are so warm and welcoming. Will be going to Panjab for many years.

Authentic Indian cuisine finally There are many Indian cuisine restaurants in Belfast, but this place has my heart. You'd really really really enjoy the food. And do try their signature cocktail!

Panjab is the new hotspot in carryduff. Their cuisine is excellent and on point with the spice levels and balance. It was amazing tasting authentic indian cuisine. Kudos to the owners and the chef.

I’ve not eaten Indian takeaway recently because my usual that I’ve used for nearly 20 years has gone downhill. Went back to where it used to be sited to try the new Panjab ...... unbelievable! Delicious. I ordered a takeaway meal which thankfully wasn't overly greasy. It included a lamb shashlik which was seasoned well, and a nice mixed vegetable starter. If I had to provide constructive criticism, it would be that the lamb could've been a little more tender. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered the chicken chilli tikka masala. Absolutely to die for. Portion size, control and balance of heat and spice along with seasoning absolutely spot on. Guys. It ain't broke so don't fix it! Well done!
