Khyber Tandoori in Castlereagh

Curry sauce was great however chicken was cooked,not used and heated again,givin a tought texture to my meal,you have a great chance to have a great indian takaway,please dont insult people with frozen cooked chicken

Not sure if they were just having a bad day - but I expected a lot more given previous reviews and this was possibly the worst Indian meal I've every had.The Prawn Puri was unlike any Puri I'd ever had - more akin to a soggy naan filled with a watery tomato sauce and some prawns. The prawns were flavourless and the the sauce was bland with the odd hint of chilli.Tarka Dhal should be creamy and satisfying, not lentils floating about in spicy soup. It needed cooked for longer, a lot longer.Lamb Tikka Chili Masala - The trick with any hot dish is to get a balance of flavour and heat; some chefs use specific chillies such as the naga to imbue a beautiful earthy flavour while others use a mix of spices to give it depth. This seemed to be all heat and nothing else.Vegetable curry ... Vegetable soup with a hint of garlic would be a better description.Tandoori Mixed Main was okay (just) but lacked the beautiful charring of the meat that usually happens in a Tandoor.The naan bread was lovely though and staff polite and friendly, so not a complete loss.

Fab, delicious food, freshly made to order. Have been using The Khyber for many years now. Can be ordered by phone or through Just Eat app. Have been using delivery service during lockdown, friendly delivery drivers Would definitely recommend

Highly reccomend for food the choice is top quality the value and portions are top notch and the staff are 2nd to none!

had the garlic Chilli Chicken tonight which is correctly labeled as hot and boy it was beautifully spicy hot, just perfect for a rainy Sunday night when I fancied something to zing my palette. Boiled rice to accompany and a tin of diet coke. Hit the spot perfectly. Fast delivery time set it all off. Couldn't ask for more.

We’ve a 12 minute drive to get there, but the food is simply the best Indian fare for miles. Great service, dependable quality, nuff said.

at my front door in under 15 minutes with a Balti that can't be beaten, from they Chefs specials part of the easy to use online menu Simple as that !!!

Me and my family eat here regularly, when the restaurant closed we were delighted the Guys opened a takeaway, food is to die for and is run by a local lovely family, I highly recommend.

When the Khyber restaurant closed at Knockbracken, I was devastated. BUT found the Owner , Tarrick, hope I have spelt his name right,,opened a Carry Out in Carryduff. I have had many meals from here, Same quality same flavours. Just love this Indian Cuisine. In my opinion the BEST in this area. Never disappoints. If I could I would give it 6 stars

I've been a customer for 10 years or more. It's not cheap but it is value for money. I like the way every dish tastes slightly different every time you get it.

Been a Khyber customer for over 10 years now. Just treated myself to the 1st one in a few months. Never disappoints. Large portions, amazing flavours and reasonable enough pricing. Sad that it's not a Restaurant anymore but so glad I can still stuff my face with it!

We went to Kyhber Tandooro on the recommendations of a friend, on a Saturday night, busy atmosphere and had heard great reviews. I understand and appreciate that the restaurant was busy and were attending both restaurant and take away orders, however, we waited 20 minutes before our order was taken and then once it was taken waited for up to an hour for our order to arrive. I had approached the staff and explained that I was a. It I happy with the time we had to wait for our meals as other tables plus take away orders had been obviously been taken before ours. I only received an apology after citing this, and it is for the slow service alone that I will not be returning, the food was lovely but was a lack of attention on the part of the waiting staff.

This is the best indian food I have tasted in Belfast. Tariq, the owner, is really friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. It is well worth a try if you like indian food.

Although moving from a restaurant to a takeaway the quality of food has definitely not changed, still at the best quality and potions sizes are a good size
