Ordered steak and it was mild, not even hot, plate was cold. Looks ok, taste is Ok, but def like it was left somewhere and I got it almost cold. Table was all sticky from previous person eating.

Sunday lunch time and we were the only people in there. No atmosphere at all. Comfy seating and well kept Guinness saved the day.

Terrible experience, no stars - avoid! We booked a table for 10 people to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. When my sister asked on booking if we could bring a birthday cake, she was told to come in - in person - to sign a liability form which she duly did. On arriving for our meal, we were curtly informed that our booking had been cancelled. When we replied that we had not cancelled, the waiter was rude and dismissive, and implied we were lying, saying 'well, we didn't cancel the booking'. My sister had gone in there in person just 2 days before to sign the liability form and our whole family had travelled there to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday - but the waiter remained convinced we had cancelled and would not seat us even though the place was half empty! It was very upsetting for our party especially my 70th year old mother. We asked to speak to a manager but were told there was none available. The waiter returned as we were leaving with the manager's telephone number and seemed to have changed his tune - saying he would arrange a table for us. But we honestly felt so insulted by the unwelcoming and unprofessional attitude displayed that we could not have enjoyed our special occasion at this establishment and left.

Too boring nowadays, used to be good craic but is very good for live sports

Food was poor quality - retired to lounge for a family drink and found it patrolled by intimidating doormen - never saw doormen inside a so-called lounge before.

This is now a grill restaurant within the Clayton Crown Hotel. The menu was very disappointing, the quality of the food was very very poor and the service was questionable to say the least.

I have been away on business & eaten in this hotel restaurant the last 2 nights. The new grill restaurant offers excellent food & service at a reasonable price. 2 course meal for 2 people includes a BOTTLE of house wine which was really nice. I can recommend chicken liver parfait, avocado on garlic toast, grilled salmon & trout. The staff are really attentive & friendly. Slight confusion with my order & very genuinely apologetic. All members of my party were very impressed on both nights. If you are staying I can also recommend the freshly cooked breakfast & variety of choice. I would definitely stay again & would be more than happy eating in hotel restaurant. Thanks all.

The first time we ate here we were pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. So the next time we stayed at the hotel we tried it again, food was lovely, you couldn't fault the service and good value for money, especially if you have a Tastecard.

Stayed at the Crown for a business trip, arrive around 9pm starving so went to Panasia in the hotel and it was fantastic!

Just had the most delightful meal here, the staff were friendly and attentive, food was exquisite, and the range of drinks accessible through the bar was outstanding!

Well recevied with good service. Nice menu and tasty food. Nice location in hotel and also used this menu in the main bar downstairs on another occasion which suited my friend who did not like the stairs.

Fantastic food everytime I come here. The Tom Yum Soup is made with a unique flavour that is simply to die for! I cannot find soup that tastes as good as this. The menu is small and simple but everything tastes great. The ambience is class and romantic. Must visit!

I visited this restaurant last night (Sat) with my wife around 7pm. The restaurant was fairly quiet but homely, very well designed and lit and very appealing on the 1st floor of the hotel. There was a large Christmas function going on next door which was fairly noisy, but that's fine - nice to hear people enjoying themselves.

We're over in cricklewood for a recent play that was on in the hotel, needed something quick to eat before it started, quick service, nice staff, tasty food. Hotel was really busy at the time and the staff were under a lot of pressure, but it didn't have one negative effect on an excellent time at the Crown. Hoping to return soon.

Staying at the Clayton Crown Hotel, this is the attached restaurant. Decided to try here because of the convenience of its location. We are complete novices to Thai food but we had spring rolls for starters and then crispy duck, chicken noodles and egg fried rice for main. It was delivered to our table quickly and food was hot when it arrived. Price was 42£ for the food and a beer and soft drink.

This place has great Thai food. The service is friendly, its definitely the best restaurant in the area. A great local!

Beautiful place with a wonderful food! I highly recommend! The food was superb cooked with fresh ingredients and the service is also good, very nice and helpful staff. I will come back again for sure and try other dishes from the menu.

Ate here with 4adults and 2kids. The waiters looked after us well but felt the ambience could be better. Music wasn't great and it was missing that homely feel. Food was excellent!!

We went on a Thursday night and the restaurant was quiet. It's quite nicely decorated and the service was good. I had to correct the waiter that Kirin was Japanese beer and not Chinese.

We went because of the Tastecard - and will return even without it, because the food was superb!! Such authenticity is hard to find (even in Thailand we have not eaten so well in many places). On top of that, the service was great (Levent from Hungary is v helpful) and the decor was elegant and in impeccable taste. We sat in the round alcove and felt we were in our own private room - fabulous! I hope lots more people go so that it is busy. Because of the Euro football, it was quiet. I'm sure it will be even better when it is buzzing. Go, go, go!

Wir haben hier zum Ende des Osterurlaubs gegessen und sind sehr zufrieden gewesen. Der Service lernte noch etwas, aber war bemüht freundlich und umgänglich. Am Essen selber gab es nichts zu bemängeln Drei verschiedene Gerichte für drei Leute und drei glückliche Gesichter , was will man mehr :)

We had had a long journey early start, delayed trains, so by the time we got to the hotel the last thing we wanted to do was run around looking for some were to eat, we desided to try the Pan Asia restaurant and we were not disappointed,good portions of very tasty food, in pleasant surroundings, I would definitely recommend it.

Was over in london for the weekend and found there was little choice in the area so decided to give here a go. Was the best decision made over the weekend. I had the thai green curry for main and pork skewer starter and both were excellent.

We visited here using the taste card so we received 2-4-1 on the meals. The food arrived hot and each course was spaced out. The only disappointment was for the fact that there were no cocktails available on our visit but the food made up for it. The portions for the starters/mains are a good size. We had the BBQ baby back ribs with sesame seeds and spring onions (£7.50), Teriyaki chicken skewers with sesame seeds (£7.00) to start. This was followed by the Thai green chicken curry which included steamed jasmine rice (£12.50) and Pad-Thai rice flat noodles with egg, julienne carrot, Chinese chive, bean sprouts, peanuts, chicken and lime. (£12.50).

This was our second time dining at PanAsia, as we were staying in the Clayton Crown this time last year.

We all enjoyed our visit to pan Asia, service was attentive, food fresh and very tasty.

We went there as a group of 5 of us and we were all pleasantly surprised by the great food and service. The waiters were a bit slow, but they had nice music playing and they were all very helpful when it came to serving my brother nut free food.

Had groupon voucher so used it last night. Food gorgeous, service brilliant and great atmoshere and busy. Everything arrived on time and was so delicious. I will be a regular here now. Wonderful!

My husband and I visited the restaurant because of a Groupon voucher. We thought with this that it was excellent value but it would have been good even without the voucher. We had nibbles to start with chilli and garlic edamame and thai crackers. The edamame was great and the crackers were ok. Then we had tiger prawn tempura with a creamy mayonaise and crispy chilli squid. The prawns were very good (and such a big portion) and so were the squid. I thought the sauce for the prawns was rather bland but the dipping sauce for the squid was great. Our mains were massaman curry (huge chunks of very tender beef) and a red curry paste stir fry with beef. The waitress warned us that the rice portions were quite small but we managed with one.

Abbiamo mangiato un riso piccante al latte di cocco davvero buono, poi gamberi in tempura, pollo alle mandorle, avocado e patate dolci in tempura, e altre buonissime pietanze. I dolci sono stati all'altezza. Il prezzo rientra nella media londinese.

I drunk the worst Pepsi in the world: filled with water. The service is a bit slow, the food quality is not bad but not excellent....

This restaurant is inside the pub that is attached to the Crown Moran Hotel. Asian food in London? You bet!! And it was delicious! Ask for Matteo for your server. He is so friendly and provides great service.

The décor in this restaurant (Pan Asia which is part of the Crown Moran hotel in Cricklewood) is amazing, very old world style yet elegant, lots of burning fires (which look real but they can turn off when it gets too hot). I have been here about four times now, the first time the food was amazing but unfortunately with each visit the food as gone down. The service is very slow which is fine when you know this is the case and if you don’t mind waiting up to 30 minutes between courses, particularly with dessert and coffees. Please the Crown, you have a fantastic venue please get the food and service back on track again. The same thing happened to the King Strict restaurant; it started off fabulous and then increasing went down and then closed. The bars are nice, and at last the staffing and service has improved at lot in both the main bar and the side bar.

I stayed in the hotel last night and had an excellent meal - I can understand what other reviewers have said as the menu is Thai food and not that flexible- if you want chicken you can only have green curry ( red curry is duck ) if you want stir fry then chicken is one way and beef another and you can't swap etc- but stick with it- quality excellent - I had tempura vegetables which were superb as a starter and then green curry as I wanted chicken - all in all very good- being an Irish hotel a lot of staff are Irish and have good sense of humour.

Booked a meal for three on 14th Feb when visiting my son in London. Turned up at the restaurant to be handed their "valentines" set menu at £45 each with no other choices. We were told we could have just the main course for £60 though!!. At no point during the booking was I told it was only a set menu. The food itself was OK but nothing special but the evening was also spoiled due to the fact that there was a wedding in a function room next to the restaurant that had karaoke. Due to the fact the restaurant and function room are both open plan we could hardly hear each other talk. All in all a bit of a washout.

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the expectation of oriental food. I guess it was my ignorance that Pan-Asian does not include Cantonese, Szechuan or Japanese food but rather Thai food (which I don't like). I order food from room service (a hamburger) which arrived with no condiments and since the phone did not work in my room, it was cold by the time I walked down to the lobby to ask for condiments.

Had a great meal at PanAsia, the food was excellent quality and finished it all despite being rather full. Varied menu of Thai Chinese and Malay dishes, went with a group of 7 and each one of us enjoyed our meals. The décor is welcoming and relaxing, the music was good and staff friendly. The ste menu is particularly good value for £15 including a drink, although you need a minimum of two people to order this as starters are shared (although there was loads of food). Would definitely recommend.
