Order from here a lot! Being in Armadale surprisingly food comes hot! Never to long delivery and always cooked way a like it.

I've ordered 4 curries + pizza for my son's birthday (cost £65 all). I know Indian food well, this wasn't Indian food, I don't know what it was. 3 curries were identical in texture, colour and taste - Aloo Gobi, Kashmiri Curry - Prawn, Garlic Bhoona - Beef - no difference at all, same artificial red colour, no difference in masala used, when I order different dishes I hope they would taste different and look different - unfortunately not here. Aloo Gobi had just 2 pieces of cauliflower, beef had just 3 pieces of beef. Korma was quite ok. Pizza very average and cold when come. Very low quality food, for £65 I could buy better curries in Tesco they would at least taste similar to Indian food. Huge disappointment for me and our guests.

Most miserable £14.25 mixed kebab I've seen yet asked for the biggest they had and the sent a 8 inch box mostly salad one bit of chicken and covered in sauce. My rating... NOT AGAIN PAL

pizza is really good but the delivery is terrible. Easily wait an hour or two hours for delivery for small orders. Estimated delivery is already an hour but then call at the hour mark and told food is just getting prepared. 40 mins later and still no food

Ordered from this place 2x donnar BURGERS! A mean to any normal person a donnar burger would be a roll with a burger and donnar meat in it nah? To them get a donnar burger meal with no burger actually on it. When you go back in to the shop to ask what it should be faced with abuse! Only actually came to this place because it was Boxing Day and no other chippy was open. First time using the place and it will certainly be the last. Change your menu if you have a problem with people asking about their orders if it’s such a problem AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

South Indian garlic chilli chicken & Nan bread….both awful. Bright red salty curry sauce with a few lumps of chicken and an under cooked doughy bread. Sorry but worst takeaway I’ve had in years.

Foods went down hill drastically, well sometimes. This place is a hit or miss now unfortunately. Because sometimes it MIGHT be good, and sometimes it may be absolutely dreadful. The sad part is you won’t find out until after you’ve taken a bite. Quality should always remain the same, im disappointed guys. Another takeaway in West Lothian on the black list.

Orderd a delivery tonight 9/7/23, awsome service, they were obviously busy as delivery was a little slow (but thats a small price to pay for the food we recived!), the food was still piping hot, the driver ever so apologetic for the wait, and the food was absolutely phenomenal! New go to for fast food!! Well done guys!!

Very poor food, gave this place another try after having two poor meals over a couple of years. Food is still very poor. Soggy pakora, chicken tikka? Sauce is poor Didn’t bother opening the rice Went in the bin with the rest of it

Best pizza in the area and square means bigger

I’ve tried a lot of takeaways in West Lothian, and I know my food well. These guys are probably the best takeaway in the whole of West Lothian by far! The food is 95% of the time absolutely amazing, the staff are nice, the prices are decent. Keep coming back because they’re keeping the standard.

Ordered £360 worth of food for a wedding buffet across the road from their shop and the greedy lot had the nerve to charge £5 delivery , it’ll be their last

Ordered online. Asked for a chicken tikka biryini and recieved beef. Ordered a grilled chicken burger it came fried in an inch of its life was unedable. Called and they did replace the burger but by the time it came it was to late. Ordered over £60 in food will not return.

In my opinion best Indian takeaway in Whitburn

After around 15 to 20 years using this place, even back when it was called 'house of spice' the other night my kid paid for my chicken pakora with my only 20 in my wallet, I ate my food and thought he tried to nab it - i asked for my tenner back he said that's the change, the change for a ten. My son doesn't lie and with me all the time so couldn't spend it. After my years using the shop, the owner said when i called he would send the driver with my tenner - i called tonight and asked why it did not arrive and ordered my final chicken pakora (which i do love) and was informed the driver said i paid with a ten. Neither me or my child lie. The driver then came to my front door and delivered the pakora, did not like me challenging him and was rude and aggressive and also, because there was no correct change given, the driver is a liar. I would never trust this shop ever again and i am stunned at the way they have treated me after long years of loyal custom.

The worst and most badly prepared food I have ever had.

Placed an order and was told 1 hour for food to be delivered. After 90 mins decided to call and was apologised to about the wait and was told 15 mins. After 2.5 hours tried to call but now not answering phone. Absolute joke. Wanted to give it zero stars but won't let you choose that option.

We got a pizza, it’s square and it was absolutely amazing so tasty and perfectly cooked, also the staff in the shop are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

As House of Spice a few years ago this was the best in Whitburn, now its been renamed, under new management, whatever, its terrible. Twice in a row my pizzas were like cardboard, barely any topping even the second time when I asked and paid for extra topping, I think there was actually even less if possible 😂 Supermarket pizzas are better, seriously. I'll never be back now.

Been going here for the last 3 year's since moved to Whitburn. The food had always been good, delivery could be slow time to time but nothing major. Was disgusted last night had friends over and made a big order, there was a genuine mistake with a missing rice, thier answer was to go back online check my order and order again and wait another 1.5 hours for another rice. Shocking thinking about the money spent over the years couldnt even hurry a rice along, was more interested in arguing whether i had selected rice or nan. Won't be back and do not recommend.

I tried the pizza, it is to be avoided, it was edible but not tasty. The mixed kebab in nan bread, now that was good. The bread was very tasty, the sauce a bit different from the normal chilli sauce which helped make the dish a bit special, the meat was well cooked and tasty, I would have this again. The lady who takes the orders is very pleasant and helpful.

took over 2hrs to come...the food was good but when you wait that long for it anything would taste ok...lied to about delivery time twice when i phoned after 1hr 30mins told it was on its way but took another 35 mins also guy delivering did not observe social distancing looked as if he was waiting on a tip that he didn't get

Horrible hair found in pizza sauce was curdled

Just had a South Indian garlic chicken rice and nan bread . Chicken was tough as old boots sauce to spicy to eat more like madras hot what a waste of £20 won’t be using them again

Lovely staff, food excellent if you like spicy this is your place but they also have mild options. Must try pizzas, spicy chicken and traditional curries!

Delivery was half an hour late and Pizza was cold, alot of oil all over everything and chips were either dry or covered in oil, chicken was either burnt and fatty, only good things were we got a free pizza and bottle irn bru

First few orders were good, but they always miss out items or do not follow instructions. Last order had to be chased as was last delivery time (which was already estimated at an hour) and when called said “just out the door”. Despite this, it took another 10 minutes and food was wrong again. Very disappointing as food is tasty, but when you get items you can’t eat it really ruins the meal.

I have never had a bad review about this company but tonight I’m utterly disappointed in this service. I ordered a pizza from Pamir at 7:41 with an estimated wait time of 1 hour. Tried calling them multiple times after about 1.5hours of waiting. I then received my order at 9:47 over 2 hours after I had ordered. Food was not even warm anymore and driver was extremely rude about it when asked what had happened.

What can a say apart from really disappointed with the meal I got the night the Donner meat was from the night before a pot full of grease the Chips were over cooked or cooked twice cause they was see through & Ordered a Korma sauce & chips but end up with a curry & chips there not even in the same league utter waste of money yet am a regular at this place but won’t be no more

We ordered a pizza meal deal 16inch pizza with kebab meat,spicy chicken,pepperoni n ham 2 portions of chips n 3 cans of juice for 18.99 great value it tasted yummy delivery was a bit long took nearly an hour but give the driver his due he apologised for being late cause they were really busy. We will definitely order again it's the first time we've ordered

This is the best takeaway in Whitburn... By far. And considering how many takeaways there ARE in Whitburn that's some going. Great range. Indian. Pizza. English. Best of all is pizza. Its SQUARE. So you get so much more!! Spicy Chicken is brill. Madras curries are great as well but DAM hot!!

Very disappointed. I ordered Doner kebab with salad/garlic mayo sauce separately but I got only kebab. Though I tried to phone them once I noticed it, I couldn't catch anybody from this shop anymore. How can their customers contact them if they need??? In the end, I had just tasteless doner kebab&nan. Never ordered from here.

Ordered on line a collection for a chicken dinner king nan kebab and pizza..was expecting a pizza box with a nice big nan with my meat and salad and sauce on the side..got a chippy box with a flat bread rolled up with dry meat and the salsa sauce all over it..rank not what I expected..raging cant even bring myself to eat it..WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THERE AGAIN...........😡😡

Always go out of their way to meet my requests to tailor curry . Been to all curry houses in whitburn this one is by far the best for food and service korma sauce best in town. Mince nan big favourite of husband and kids.

Thought this place used to be good but got a grill box the other night found a long hair in it and food was horrible couldn't eat any of it not even the chips, phoned to tell them in which I was told nobody that works in there has long hair, also ordered a pizza which was freezing cold, won't be ordering again, spend good money here as well.

What a joke, everytime we order from here it takes well more than an hour to be delivered and we live on the same dam street! Tonight they took our order an hour before they were due to shut and 2 hours later absolutely nothing! I will not be ordering from here again there an absolute joke!

The food in this shop is the best in West Lothian by far. I asked the manager in November 2018 to help us with a fund raising event to send our nephew Ajay to America for treatment for a Tumour and they said yes without any hesitation. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place 100%.

Food took 1hr 20m to arrive (Wednesday), chips and pizza were cold. Not happy at all considering it was just shy of £20. Normally enjoy this place but I do normally collect. No apology/explanation from driver why it took so long. Also phone number listed on their website does not work!

Food from here is amazing, great pizzas compared to other places nearby, good value great customer service, would highly recommend any food from here.

We ordered a large grill box and chose delivery. We were not disappointed with the delivery which was wrapped up and the food piping hot. Food was very tasty and great value for money. In the grill box was Chicken kebab, Lamb kebab, Donner kebab meat, Tandoori chicken, tandoori Chicken Chaat, chips, salad and a few tubs of chilli sauce and finally a full size Nan bread. Well worth the money and worth a try.
