Don't bother. If you want cold food and expensive drinks then this is right up your street. Food is served cold an it's dispointing. Walk 30 seconds down the road an go to Big Licks. At least it's cooked there and then. Don't expect much from the staff, unless you are a regular. As for atmosphere they have tvs playing the sports channel an music on, but I wouldn't call it an atmosphere. Better pubs serving food locally.

It used to be a nice pub/restaurant and is now very generic. The staff were nice and helpful when the craft beer we wanted ran out and then when the replacement was off. Feels a bit wetherspoons like now, poor atmosphere with advertising screens and a generic pub menu. I wouldn't recommend making a special journey to go there

Just came in for food and a drink. 6 of us. Very cold reception from the angry girl behind the bar. She ignored me standing there while she was moaning and swearing about the room availability to a guest who was trying to check in. Eventually, she came to my order and it felt like I was in her way. She slammed the drink on the counter and tipped half of it onto the bar.. when I asked for it to be filled up (a pint is a legal measure, not a suggestion!) it was met with contempt.. it was 'sort of' filled and returned to the bar to further spill half of the content. We have chosen to leave and not give them any more money, for food or anything else. ,#to the owner... Time to train your staff in how to speak to people.. or hire someone without a chip on their shoulder. This page shows the place to be busy.. it is wrong, it is now empty.

Food is very bland and over priced, the £7.50 lunch deal is a lie, you cant get more than a jacket spud for that, they then tried to charge me £17 for a wrap and a gin, pretty sure the chips were mccain oven chips, staff seemed moody, drinks order was wrong which I realised they charged me for a premium version I didnt ask for, best avoided except for basic pints.

Ordered the only vegan item on the menu and was really disappointed - random ingredients in a 'bombay' burger and doritos as a side? I nearly never write negetive reviews but I regret not going to wetherspoons instead, this felt severely below average, especially for it being over £15. Table was also filthy which did not add to the appeal of the place... I don't know about other food items offered, but not a great place to be a vegan I'm afraid :(

Have to say I'm not usually one for leaving negative reviews in general, but sometimes you have to for things to improve. I booked for myself and 2 friends to go for Sunday Lunch as I had been here before years ago and it used to be amazing. I read the other reviews online before booking, however I have worked in hospitality and customer service all my life, so I know people have a tendancy to shout it from the rooftops and tell everyone when they've a bad experience but not enough people speak up when they've had a good experience. Even though I was a bit dubious because of some of the reviews I thought I would still give them the benefit of the doubt and try it for myself and I'm sad to say it, but I have to agree 100% with some of the other not so great reviews. 3 of us ordered at the same time for the same table number however one of us got our food 10 minutes before the other two. The food was cold so I had to send it back to be put in the microwave & even then I had still pretty much finished my food before the others got theirs and it wasn't because it was busy. It was quiet. There was no-one else in eating. The vegetables were soggy like they had been chopped, frozen and then microwaved, the roast potatoes weren't proper roasties, just peeled and chopped potatoes that had been shoved in the deep fat fryer & the mash was dried up in a lump and not very nice. Such a shame as this used to be a great place for Sunday lunch going back a few years & I was hoping to find a new local. It was so disappointing for what we paid, especially when you have places like The Banyan Tree and Three Little Words nearby that both do a fantastic Sunday lunch with everything prepared fresh for pretty much the same price.

Had an overnight break in Manchester. Booked The Oxnoble because it seemed to have relatively good reviews at a glance. Dissapointing is abit of an understatement given the price point and in comparison to other places we have stayed within the same price range. To start with, the room looked really tired. Stank of smoke which was really off putting. Staff didnt show you to the room just gave us a key and sent us on our way. We were met with broken door handles, extractor fan to bathroom didn't work, wobbly toilet seat, shower barely fixed to the wall, blocked sink. Door threshold not fixed down, major trip hazard. Really weird poster fixed to the wall on a tatty piece of plywood - bit random -totally out of place. We booked a double and got 2 singles which wasn't a major issue. However, when we got back to the room after dinner the TV didn't work - the ariel cable at the back was broken and had no channels tuned in which was really frustrating. Added to this the WiFi was rubbish and couldn't connect - so no Netflix or other streaming services! We were worried about breakfast given the bad reviews. It was mediocre at best. Dirty tables that hadn't been cleaned from the night before. Everything just looked tired and a bit grim. Ordered breakfast at the bar, as no cereal, juices, tea or coffee were laid out for guests. Ordered a latte and the coffee machine was broken. Really poor when compared with what else is out there! Big dissapointment I'm afraid. Great location but leaves alot to be desired!

Booked for lunch via the website but no record of it found upon arrival. A table was found for us easy enough (luckily it wasn't busy) but it was still sticky and covered in crumbs/debris from whoever was there last so we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Spent 10mins downloading the payment app and inputting our orders but met with an ERROR when trying to checkout. The app wasn't the best anyway with 2 identical looking but actually different 'Food' sections. Poor, confused design. So we went old-skool and tried to order at the bar to be told there were no battered fish or goujons on the kids menu (pretty much half the selection). The decision to go elsewhere that wasn't a pain in the @rse was really very easy. The place seems alright if you just want drinks and the football on 3ft from your face.

Terrible food. Had to wait 30 minutes when the place was pretty much empty. Shame. Came here for Sunday lunch about ten years ago and it was pretty good. Really gone down hill. Couple opposite we’re waiting 40 minutes and turned their food away for a refund when it turned up. We had two young kids who needed to eat so they had theirs (pretty terrible chicken nuggets and burnt chips) but my wife (Sunday roast beef) and I (beef pie with mash) left most of ours. The mash was lumpy with a rubbery consistency totally inedible. If you’re a chef and you can’t make mash potato, you shouldn’t be a chef. Sack the chef and try to return this place to its former glory.

The food is good and perfectly fine, but the best thing about the food is good service Sandwich bread is baked when you order the sandwich And the Iraqi man on the shawarma skewer A very good and respectful man And a gentleman I advise you to try the restaurant, you won't regret it hopefully
