Oxford Street Chippy Oldham in Oldham

This once was a great chippy ,then the Chinese took over and it became greater still the same great fish+chips and a great Chinese menu added then after several years they left A couple of people tried to make a go of it but not worked out last ime I looked it was empty and an eyesore

Friendly staff. Fantastic price..and the chips were of a high standard too. All topped off with a delicious curry sauce. One to be enjoyed again. Good luck to them.

Everything as expected in a traditional fish and chip shop. The owners a very nice person.

Under new ownership, so ignore old reviews and menus. The new owners are extremely friendly and have a real passion for fish and chips that I have not seen anywhere. Servings are good size portions and made to perfection. Curry is next level. This will soon give Old Mother Hubbards a run for its money. Highly recommend. Plenty of parking space is available at the side car park.

Huge portion of Chip Muffin, accepted card payment and affordable and just what I needed at the time.

New owners since the end Sep 2021, only round the corner from me so go in for Fri night tea of fish, chips and peas. Good sized portions, excellent quality food at a good price. Always have a good natter with the owner, cant fault the place. Give it a go, you won`t be disappointed.

I got chip muffin absolutely disgusting straight in the bin. Chips where cold by the time I got home which was 2 mins from the chippy. Probably gave me last night's leftovers.

One of the best quality fish and chips places in the UK no joke . premium fish its all in the taste and the service is spot on. Definitely worth a visit not matter where you travelling from or too put this on your tom Tom as favorite destination you won't regret it

Fancy a chippy tea, can't go far wrong with Oxford Street Chippy, order via Just Eat, no minimum order, delivery charges reasonable and although I live in Royton and the Chippy is in Werneth the food (fish and chips with a barm) was pipping hot and delicious, a nice touch would be mushy peas but hey I loved it. Tried here tonight thought it was pretty expensive for what it is. Didn't put gravy on my order and didn't put my pea in. Had to wait 10 mins for food. Wont be going back. Shame it isn't still the wing wah chippy.

Got fish and chips and a chip muffin. Excellent quality. Excellent value for money.
