My daughter treated me to Lunch and it was fabulous. I’ve been past this restaurant so many times but never been in. This is so beautiful place. We got a warm welcome from staff and manager. I had avocado and eggs on toast and my daughter had the full Lunch. Both were freshly cooked with good quality meal. I didn't see any minor mistakes.Thank you.

First time to visit and it was amazing, food was lovely all freshly prepared, came out hot, staff nice and friendly, great deco inside and not over priced, good size portions too Only criticism I had was music quite loud so found yourself shouting when talking just needs turning down abit but will definitely be returning and recommending to people

We came on our holiday for the festive meal, absolutely delicious, we take turkey traditional food for our dinners were hot and tasty, not to forget the berry cheesecake yumm We will definitely be back and keep up the good work I wish you all good health.

The atmosphere is good with great location, into the resturant very clean . The food was really tasty and enjoyed by all, very suitable sizes. We are very happy, thank you for a pleasant evening. Stumbled on this place whilst a stop over near Chorley. Was pleased to find they served halal food. They also serve alcohol. This aside we we ordered chicken wings and shwarma wrap. Food did take a while but was made fresh. The wings tasted amazing with a nice charcoal grill flavour as did the shwarma chicken. I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were really friendly. I would recommend it if you're ever in the area.

Had a fantastic Sunday evening dinner here. Excellent quality food & full of flavour. Turkish sausage, lamb beyti and mixed grill were all amazing. Also really good chips with seasoning. Great service, with a warm welcome and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Lovely food, good atmosphere, and really helpful and friendly staff. We had the lunchtime menu and it was delicious. I had Turkish chicken stew with rice, and my partner had lamb shish with rice and chips. It was so good, really tasty, and a good size portion. Its very reasonably priced too. The atmosphere is really pleasant and not over the top. The apple tea after the meal was a nice touch, cleansed the palate! I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and next time we're in Manchester, we will visit again. (And we didn't get a parking ticket!!)

Best I’ve had in a long time the service we had was amazing and so was the restaurant super clean and the food out of this world! As for the lamb, it just melts on your mouth the lamb is so so good. Night out at the Chorley Theatre so took TA advice and visited here, not disappointed, we were first into eat at 6pm. Warm welcome, food excellent, staff very prompt, menu plentiful and decent value to boot. Will definitely return when next in town.

For someone who does not do “spicy” I was a little worried about what I could choose from the menu (my other half has always wanted to go here). I have to say that I had a fantastic meal (mixed kebab with half and half) - it was carefully spiced and absolutely delicious! Great service with a smile capped it all off! Had a chill out afternoon and decided to give this restaurant a try for late afternoon lunch/early tea. The restaurant was quiet at that time but menu selection was excellent and the food was fabulous. Staff were attentive whilst giving enough space and time for us to enjoy our meal. I ordered takeaway from here and it was perfect. The chicken kebab was delicious with great flavor and really fresh. The chips were well-cooked, not soggy, and the garlic sauce was fantastic. I plan to dine in soon and will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know

Amazing food. Amazing staff! Me and my family tried Ottoman recently from a recommendation. We like it that much we went back the week after 😊 I’ve never seen my kids eat as much food in my life.

Had heard few good things so decided to try as only in Chorley 1 night Really wish we hadn’t bothered Food was so bland .. we have been to Turkey and also Turkish restaurants numerous times This was the worse ever ahd I don’t like criticising local restaurants but really need to learn to use herbs and spices to flavour your food Service was good but the food wasn’t The aubergine starter had no flavour The “homemade “tomatoe sauce “ was tinned tomatoes ??? Nothing else just bland Isjkender kebabs … no garlic, greasy soggy bread and again tinned tomatoes Only consolation was great chips Sorry to leave this review but so disappointed and expected much more but lovely staff

Heard great reviews of this place but never previously visited until Saturday. We had had several drinks before we went in which we wouldn’t do again as we want to savour the experience longer. The place was full which is a good sign with a constant stream of people coming. The food was amazing. Mine was warm but not hot but didn’t detract from the taste and everything tender , service great. And prices really reasonable for generous portions. Can’t wait to go again

Went around 6pm on a Tuesday night, after a cinema visit. It was understandably quiet, we received a warm welcome and offered a special Tuesday/Wednesday menu for I think about £22 for two courses but we decided to go on the main menu. We had a very good beetroot/yogurt starter (Pembe sultan) with the best flat bread ever. For mains we had the “Turkish delight” lamb lokum which was tenderest lamb we’ve had in a long while. The maitre de and young staff very attentive and friendly. The drinks were a little pricey but no more so than other local restaurants. Will definitely be back. A great place. Very authentic food in a nice setting. Alim? is a real asset to this establishment.

Absolutely the best authentic Turkish food in the area. Everything is cooked and prepared fresh to order. The lamb chops are to due fir, I’d also recommend their Turkish salad and spinach and yoghurt dip with freshly baked bread. All staff are excellent too. Highly recommend.

Travelled for an hour just to come back here for the third time with my Mum for her belated birthday meal. Genuinely THE best lamb I have ever tasted in my entire life. Traditional lokum, melt in your mouth, I can only describe it as almost akin to steak!!! The chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Salad incredibly fresh. The bread which was brought out as a starter with yoghurt and spinach/beetroot dips were incredible. Safeur (hopefully got the spelling right) is an absolute gentleman and is so warm and welcoming. He made this a meal my Mum will never forget. He even gave my Mum a hug for her birthday. I’ve been here 3 times as I said, and had this same meal 3 times. All 3 times as good as each other. Perfect atmosphere. So incredibly clean. All the staff fantastic! 5/5

12 pounds for two portions of rice and 4 small pieces of haloumi and 1 spoon of hummus, it's a steal. The hummus was not fresh. It's really a shame

Considering this place is on my doorstop, I can’t believe I’ve been missing out for so long! Last week I visited Ottoman for some authentic Turkish cuisine and was greeted with a menu that provides a wide variety of flavours and meats. The food was cooked in front of our eyes, meat cooked to perfection and everything tasted so fresh! Went in today afternoon looking for a real take away treat compared to a standard bank holiday weekend kebab. The lad on the front desk was, there's no other way to say it, slow. He didn't know whether the Kofte kebab skewers in front of us contained lamb or chicken. Even though the meat was obviously chicken. It's also not that spicy as I requested it to be. Still voting 5 stars across the board because the food is absolutely delicious so props to the chef for carrying the whole thing.

Where to start? First of all, the lunch menus are incredible value for money with the best lamb and dips I’ve had anywhere, bar none. Always spotless and had a really nice calming atmosphere with a cool decor. My latest discovery was the chicken stew which may be my new favourite thing on the menu. Also, came here with the family for the Turkish night last year on my birthday and they did not hold back on the hospitality or the entertainment one bit! Would definitely recommend this as a very unique experience, great laugh after your food. Food also never takes long to come either but the main thing about Ottoman, for me is how good the staff are with their customers. Not pushy, very considerate and seem to know just when you’re ready for your next course, all absolute gentlemen. Couldn’t recommend ottoman enough, go do yourself a favour and visit when you can.

Great meal and relaxing atmosphere

After hearing so many good things about ottoman I finally made it,, It was my first visit last night (Saturday 17/3/24) to celebrate a great friends birthday,, There was well over 30 of us,, and still all the main courses came out pretty much same time,, a few had starters so they held back with the mains until the starter's were cleared and then it all started flowing,, smooth as owt! The owner was on point directing the polite attentive staff and keeping the drinks coming, I was actually on coffee, nice coffee too may I add,, bean to cup, ,, the beer of choice for most was a bottled beer "birra moretti" (going off the condensation on the bottles it was also suitably chilled) flawless service! I went for the Turkish delight, lamb lokum I think it was called,, It was £21.90 and worth every penny,, I was initially going to have a steak but a friend recommended the lamb as he'd had it previously,, wow 😳 it really was exactly as it said on the menu "melt in the mouth" accompanied by a rich buttery sauce,, I love lamb anyway but id never had It cooked that way. i chose rice with it ,, it came with salad too, plus chips option also half/half , Quite a few went for skewered meats, some had chicken dishes, with zero unhappy eaters,, overall a very pleasant, reasonably priced eating experience.... also no queuing for toilets as there's 2 sets,, they was spotlessly clean and smelling fresh ,, can't wait to eat there again. We were at the Ottoman again on Wednesday evening for my son’s birthday. Food is always delicious, fresh and hot. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff and always friendly and attentive. The owner is so welcoming. The Ottoman mix kebab is amazing and the lamb and chicken shish is always so tender, served with rice or fries and salad. I’m not sure how they cook the rice but it is just so good. Love this place, we will be back again and again

If I could give it 6 stars I would. I've been to the Ottoman many many times. The food is so fresh, the service is amazing are they are all genuinely happy and nothing is too much effort. The beer selection is great and nothing beats an open kitchen cooking your food right in front of you with all the beautiful smells. I've been at lunchtime for thier menu special and for the money it really is something else, I couldn't believe the choice and I have tried various different starters and mains and they are all great. I've been during the evening with friends and the atmosphere even on a weeknight is great as is the food obviously. If you want to try something really special I highly recommend the Turkish night. The Ottoman is by far Chorley's best all round restaurant.

Was a busy night but the service was excellent non the less. I had a chicken dish served with rice and salad. The sauce was lovely and all the food looked really fresh. I’d never been before but will definitely be going again.
